Veteran RV'ers love to talk about the experiences they have had with their coach. "Living the dream" for them, becomes more than just a concept rooted squarely in the unknown future. For them, the future is now and the dream has become reality. This may be the coach that opens the door to this rarefied world for you.
For anyone that has shopped for a used diesel pusher, they often times find that there is a startling similarity among the units that they review. Freightliner chassis, 350 horsepower, "RV grade" furniture and cookie cutter designs that tend to imitate each other. The American Tradition product never falls into the standard mold.
The Spartan chassis allows for a gross weight rating of 59,600 pounds!...which is almost twice that of lesser coaches. This impressive strength creates the literal foundation that allows for so much functionality. Interior components can be chosen because they are the best choice rather than the lightest. The tow rating becomes 15,000 pounds and the stability of the tag axle eliminates the "porpoising" that is usually caused by excessive rear overhang. Any professional heavy truck operator will tell you that it is hard to beat Cummins ISL power and dependability dialed into 425 horsepower and 1200 foot pounds of torque. with only 65,000 miles, this motorhome may have generations of use left in it!
In many cases, used motorhomes in this category tend to set unused for a few years before the owner can bear to part with them. This means that the new owners usually have to address items like new tires and batteries just because the motorhome has set unused for some time. This is not the case with this well maintained machine.
Tires were replaced in December of 2017, batteries are new and during a comprehensive inspection in 2016 by Cummins, the owner spent over $6,000 dollars to upgrade the emissions system and respond to any other squawks that were found. Even the 200 amp alternator was replaced in 2018. When a prospective buyer sees that this type of maintenance has been done and that there are not the typical list of projects that have to be completed, it bodes well for the dependability of the coach and attests to the fact that maintenance has been a priority.
With an original MSRP of $416,000 dollars, it should be no surprise that the coach has special features inside and out. Starting with the interior, little features like a cedar lined closet start to set the tone. Wooden box valences and Corian countertops are expected. Heated porcelain extended area tile brings a smile to the face of the first one out of bed in the morning.
Dual high efficiency furnaces ensure continuous comfort as does the Select Comfort King size air mattress with dual remotes. The one piece shower enclosure features a very convenient built in seat and the rear bedroom features a recessed ceiling fan, both of which provide a very high end residential feel.
It is hard to know where to stop when describing interior features. From deluxe day/night shades to front captains' chairs that are heated, the list truly does go on and on.
The coach chassis easily carries 120 gallons of fresh water along with 70 gallons of grey and 40 gallons of black (about 100 flushes!) in addition to a 150 gallon fuel tank to make pit stops less frequent. There is plenty of power provided by the massive 10kW Onan QuietDiesel powerplant and the helpful 65W solar panel.
It is true to say that words do not do this RV justice. Whether approaching from the outside and noticing the unusually high gloss shine or taking that first step into your own rolling resort, this coach provides that special kind of overall experience that is so rare to find. The new owners will quickly know that they have bought more than just a machine. They will have bought the experience of a lifetime!

Hometown RV has been at it's current location since 1991. A focus on providing the best possible RV rental experience was the starting point for this family owned business. By carefully monitoring their rental customers experiences with real world issues of dependability and ease of use, the staff at Hometown gained a significant advantage in selecting the right products to offer their retail customers.
"Our rental customers alert us to any deficiencies or service issues as well as give us a way to field test the products we sell. This information helps us fine-tune what features are important to our customers and also allows us to be proactive when it comes to service. Our goal is to use this information to help both our retail and rental customers to have the best RV experience possible."
At Hometown RV, they understand that the quality and selection of the products they offer are important. The attitude and commitment of their people are the keys to customer satisfaction. "We believe we have developed a winning formula for customer service which permeates all phases of the sale process. We spend as much time making sure our customers know how to operate the various features of their RV as we do helping them select the right floor plan. They never feel pressured and we make sure they are comfortable contacting us for any assistance they may need after the sale."
"Our customers tell us that it is common in most of their buying experiences that the service they receive, particularly after the sale, rarely lives up to their expectations. At Hometown RV, we see a real opportunity to provide a refreshing difference . We are excited about applying this full service mentality to a broad range of recreational products."
