RVT.com, the leading Internet classified ad site for new and used RVs for sale, travel and 5th wheel trailers, motor homes and campers, has launched three new online marketing initiatives, including an iPad RV shopper magazine, a Facebook Marketplace presence and a new partnership with Google DFP (Dart for Publishers) for targeted RV ad placement by geography, category or keyword.

The new RVT.com Buy & Sell Magazine for iPad, the first of its kind, is a dynamic tablet-formatted digital magazine that allows RV shoppers to browse or search RVT.com’s entire inventory of over 40,000 new and used RVs for sale from more than 430 RV dealers and thousands of private sellers.

“This dynamic magazine-style version of RVT.com puts our inventory in the hands of thousands of RVers with an interface that allows the RV Shopper to quickly and easily ‘flip’ through RVs for sale in his/her region,” said Shawn Friesen, RVT.com marketing director. “It is the most enjoyable and convenient way to shop for RVs online, and will generate more quality leads for our RV dealer, industry and individual advertisers.” The new app will be available for download from iTunes later this month.

RVT.com has also placed its extensive inventory of RVs for sale on the new Facebook Marketplace to provide hundreds of thousands of additional RV Shopper visits, adding online exposure for RVT dealers and private sellers and generating thousands of additional leads. Facebook currently has more than 500 million registered users, and half those users log on to Facebook every day. There are approximately 150 million registered Facebook users in the U.S.

To provide the most targeted online display and banner advertising in the industry, RVT.com has employed Google DFP (Dart for Publishers) to enable RV dealers, manufacturers and industry-related companies to target RV shoppers by geography (city, state or region), by RV make or model, or by shopper-specified keyword. The RVT.com Ad Network currently serves more than 20 million ad impressions each month to RV shoppers.

“With the addition of these robust new online marketing tools, RVT.com now provides dealers and private sellers of RVs for sale with the most dynamic and powerful marketing presence on the Internet,” said Friesen. “RVT.com remains committed to bringing RV buyers and sellers together by harnessing the power of emerging Internet technologies to make it easier to buy and sell RVs online.”

Earlier this year, RVT.com introduced its RVT.com Mobile iPhone app that put all the features and functionality of its industry-leading RV classifieds website directly in the hands of RV buyers, sellers and dealers. The free iPhone app is available for download here on iTunes.

At RVT.com, sellers have the option to list their RV until sold, with powerful exposure options. All paid ads are optimized for search engines and social networks, and include photos, video and unlimited text.

Enhanced listing options are also available. The site provides an online ad generator so posting an ad and photos is simple and streamlined, and the RVT Price Checker searches the entire site’s inventory to provide high, low and average prices by vehicle make and model.

For dealers, RVT.com offers a Dealer Management Interface that allows dealers to easily upload and change multiple ads, track email leads and monitor traffic. Multiple listing accounts are available for a low monthly fee. RVT.com can also receive inventory from a dealership’s existing database.
