Yes there is still time to take an RV vacation this summer! Neff Brothers RV is there to help you make it happen.
Neff Brothers, Inc., a family-owned and operated RV business in Lorain, Ohio’s motto is “Our Family Wants to Make Sure Your Family Has a Great Time.” After a decade and half in another location, they moved to a new, bigger and better facility on May 9th, 2015.
Angela Dudziak, General Manager of Neff Brothers RV, Inc. said “We have the Skyline brand of the Nomad series and Layton series now. Evergreen bought them out and is resurrecting the manufacturer after some down years. But I remember when I was little seeing Layton and Nomad trailers around. Guess I like to stay with the oldies but goodies.”
Angela points out three reasons why the Skyline Nomad and Layton they sell are better:
1. These are trusted names that have been satisfying customers since the ‘60s
2. Nomads are the best value—low prices and great features like standard power tongue jacks, power stabilizer jacks, and a picnic table!
3. Laytons are the ultimate in luxury—they come with everything, even a gorgeous farmhouse-style kitchen sink
Their new business was part of the reason for their move and expansion. Their RV rentals are still their bread and butter. According to Angela this summer has been off the charts. They’ve had six consecutive sold-out weekends in a row. “This has never been done before in the history of our company.”
Neff Brothers is planning an auction for the weekend of August 28th. “Summer’s not over yet even though school’s back in session. Grab the kids after school on Friday and head to one of the state parks for the weekend. You know they won’t have homework yet!!! Take advantage of the beautiful late August weather. It’s the last-minute, impromptu trips that families always remember. Just do it!!”
How did the auction idea get started? Angela said that about two years ago she “looked out on my lot on a Wednesday afternoon and saw half my rental fleet sitting there. The weather was eighty degrees and sunny. The whole weekend was calling for this perfect weather. That’s when I thought ‘How can I move these off the lot this weekend?’ And thus, the first on-line auction occurred.” In the past, cost savings for auction winners have ranged from thirty five to fifty percent off the actual price for a rental.
Within easy driving distances from Lorain are NASCAR, NFL and NCAA stadiums, Cedar Point Amusement Park, the Indy 500, Kentucky Derby, and music festivals. With a week or more vacation time, you can easily travel to and from Michigan, Washington, DC, the Smokey Mountains, Niagara Falls or Amish Country.
