Starting with the upgraded Workhorse chassis 8.1L Vortec V8, this coach has all the bells and whistles. Starting in the front of the coach and moving through it, consider the following: In-motion satellite receiver, home theater sound system, DVD player, amplifier, receiver, five speakers and a subwoofer. A 300-watt inverter with the overhead 24" TV means you can watch satellite tv while traveling down the road without turning on the generator. The dash includes a steering wheel remote and a handheld remote for the Sirius equipped RV radio. The cab seats are UltraLeather with video camera system for rearview (with audio) as well as side-view cameras. All cameras are activated automatically with turn signals or can be manually configured. Drivers side includes cruise control, intermittent wipers, switches for grade brake, battery boost, and overdrive and a 5,000 lb trailer hitch. Once you've arrived, this 2007 has a 1-touch automatic hydraulic, Kwikee leveling system with access from both driver side and exterior panel. The galley contains the upgraded package which includes range cover, silverware tray, raised-panel refrigerator door, dinette storage wire baskets, a Microwave/Convection oven combo and a 3-burner gas range with oven.
The bunks both contain 7" LCD DVD players with their own headphone jacks that can play separate DVD's or link into the main entertainment router. The main bedroom contains the upgraded king bed with flip-up under bed storage and a 19" TV that can also watch different programing through the in-coach entertainment router. The air conditioners (2) are the optional high-efficiency ceiling-ducted with dual wall thermostats all tied into the PowerLine energy management system. This coach also contains the exterior wash station with the 6-gallon, electronic ignition both 110 and LP water heaters as well as an engine auxiliary heater that ensures hot water when you arrive at your destination. The patio awning and all six tires were replaced in 2013. There are two issues that are negotiable: The generator needs a new starter that we did not have time to put in after this summer's travels and the left rear bumper cracked after catching a post in a tight-spaced RV site. My wife and I both love our "cottage on wheels" but our teenagers have outgrown the bunks.
NOTE: As of 2/20 According to NADA average retail for this coach is $47,000. Low retail is $39,000. I dropped $9,000 off the low end because of the work that needs to be done. The generator was pulled last spring and needs to be replaced. As of right now the step and the auto leveler are malfunctioning but those could be a simple fix(?) All six tires were replaced about 5 years ago and they have probably 10k miles on them. We’ve really only driven to Florida and back during spring breaks these past 5 years—kids have had too many sporting events 24/7 to really enjoy it.
