Bought a 2018 Winnie 70X drove it home parked it in our shop when out two weeks later to get it ready for its maiden voyage and low and behold the interior lighting would not work nor would the couch recline. Called Winnebago customer service was on hold for over 20 minute once the rep came on the line he was no help and instructed me to call dealership. Called they finally got back to me two days later and told me it would be 12 days before they could get the unit in. Next they told me it could be diagnosed in a day but would take up to 10 day for Winnebago to authorize the repair. This is absolutely unbelievable that a company that treats new customers in this manner is still in business.

Sent Winnebago a email from their site and guess what NO RESPONSE

Voted Most Helpful Review 2018 Winnebago Travato 59K

I doubt my wife and I could be more thrilled. For the two of us, the Travato 59K we bought is spot on. We had zero issues when we picked up our new 59K unless you count a mating pair of connectors that are semi-hidden above the ceiling of the bathroom closet between roof solar panel and charger/controller was not plugged together.

Ditto another review that this RAM Promaster based RV drives and handles well, even in the wind. Whether driving on rough roads, passing a semi, gusty windws or simply standing still, the Travato is remarkably stable. More stable than the taller full frame/rear axle driven with dual wheels, Sprinter or Transit based RV's. Around town or on the highway, the RAM Promaster even with the WB coach addition drives like an upper end SUV with only a bit more length to park at the store or street side. Ours fits in our 10 foot high roll up opening in our shop so it has a nice home when we are not out and about in it.

Like others have reported, we get excellent (for an RV) gasoline fuel mileage. You can usually count on 15 to 17.x average for overall trip drives. If you use it to drive 9,000 pounds-ish around town you can figure your mpg will be on the order of 12.4 mpg.

Very nice mattresses are provided by WB on top of a Froli system in the Travato makes for a very comfortable rest. Adjustable height head rests are great for reading or watching a show. I have been in much higher priced RV's of any class that come with shamefully inadequate and horrible to sleep on bedding.

Storage and wardrobe containment is good for one to two people taking touring or camping trips. If you want to take your house, and/or grandma and the kids with you, buy a Class A and require (0k, maybe not) the extra earthlings to pitch in some dough to pay for it. Charge them more for any (which will be all) luggage that wont fit under their seat. Have them sign up for clogging waste tank servicing insurance, using the screen door as a entry handle, etc. or pay a damage insurance deposit in advance. Again I am kidding. I'm just saying...

As for the waste system flexible dump pipe, I installed an under chassis tube that allows the pipe WITH fittings attached, to store below. The built in, 2 foot long storage tube can only contain the factory supplied, compressed 10 ft long hose without any tank-end fittings. The factory tube has instead become home for our outdoor mat and a spare VHF/UHF ham & emergency services vertical antenna.

Also said by another and I with some modifications quote here; the "Truma Combi hot water heater & furnace is awesome". Because it is. For kitchen (abd probably bathroom) sink hot water, make sure the shower control valve is all the way clockwise or it will draw & mix cold water with the result being just tepid warmth. With shower valve clockwise-closed, the kitchen sink hot water temperature then virtually matches the excellent hot and extra hot temperature ratings for the Truma Combi.

As for the furnace side, if you want to heat up the coach fast, start with propane mode. Then if the outside temps are not too cold, you can probably switch over to High or Low electric-only heat to maintain your preferred comfortable level. Or a mix of propane and electric, your choice. Easy as pie. This is a VERY quiet system. And it provides VERY even heat throughout the coach including the bathroom because of the four near-floor ducts. Sometimes I start out by using the heating system in the dashboard of the van but really the Truma heats the entire coach all by itself just fine. If you do it with the electric heating elements only, it will take awhile. Goose it, or use propane only if you like instant (well, much faster) gratification.

The water heater & LCD control panel at first is hard to figure out. If you are 60+ years old and never cussed a day in your life, yuou might learn how now. But zip it until you use it about three times. Read on.
Good luck getting just the right sales person who has been selling for more than 3 days and often does not even own an RV, or walk-through tech to know how to operate this control panel either. What ever happened to plain language labeling instead of gosh darned icons that at first make NO sense? Ahh, maybe its a trick security system! However, once you have used it about 3 times, the icons just become GPS-like markers where you need to do your next zombi-like repeated steps and you then whiz through setup and settings, no problem. And yes, then you find out it works great too. You could hold 5 minute seminars to train others but ultimately the next person has to simply learn by doing it a few times too, regardless of attempts to follow the manual.

The MCD shades are good. The shorter width windows in the newest 2019 models do have nicer, integrated bottom-up shades but the windows are not as nice. Despite the opportunity to get excellent dual pane windows in a 2019, we intentionally hunted down a 2018 with single pane less efficient but larger area windows.

The cabinetry is well done. The drawer and bin doors with glossy surfaces we have are gorgeous. Any concern we had about keeping these surfaces clean has disappeared. Latch and hinge hardware is excellent. No rattles.

Traveling in a Class B is easier than you think. We think it is more fun than a lumbering giant one. And we do not want to tow anything. We can rent and leave behind most anything we desire. No parking or backing up stress. No extra maintenance costs, insurance, additional fuel for towing, etc.

We are Happy Campers with our Travato 59K.

Absolute worst purchase I ever made. Over 40 warranty issues. I opted for the 15 K air conditioner, they installed the 13K. Ordered the 2nd A.C., they never wired it. Everything that could go wrong is wrong. Rear awning does not work . Hapijack bed system is broke. Winnebago sends wrong parts or does not have parts on hand.
I could go on but my blood pressure is rising. We took delivery 13 May, there are still issues to resolve. A wasted summer. We camped 11 days, it's been at the dealer more than that. The dealer ,Fretz RV,in Souderton pa gas been excellent. Winnebago is the problem

Nothing but positives. Drives and handles well, even in the wind. Gets excellent fuel mileage. The bed(s) are very comfortable, storage is very adequate. Wardrobe is a bit small but is fine. Truma Combia hot water/furnace is awesome, MCD PRIVACT shades are great. The cabinetry is beautifully finished. Overall it it 4.75 stars.

Having owned every type of motorhome including multiple Super C's (Class 8 Truck Conversions) I will say I was pretty impressed with the Sprinter chassis. It definitely performs much better than the Ford E450 chassis. We did install a few chassis upgrades that made the chassis perfect. Not sure I would want to tow a vehicle behind it full time, but for short trips it was ok. As far as the motorhome goes Winnebago packs a lot of great features in a small space. I would say the only thing I would want to see different in this RV is the option for a dinette vs the small couch.

I love my new 24j View! Typical small items on first trip (bathroom door latch needed adjusting - Tv patch needed adjusting ... took me a few min to adjust and we were on the way! 3,500 trouble free miles so far! Great gas mileage and very easy to maneuver. Definitely check out the newer (longer model). Back bed is very cozy ( has the sleep system option). Love it!

!st motor home, 5th wheel formerly. Big disappointment. My Winnebago Lemon. On delivery, no water pump, no TV, no radio, no generator, no radio, miles speedo instead of kilometers is a safety concern, road noise from cabin door is extreme, dust protection is poor, exhaust drags on curbs, rear drags with minor surface grades, difficulty loading sat radio, blind spot camera has minimal value, re-motes for tvs are not specific to each TV, drawers open during transit, blind faulty, latches are flimsy. Driving is great, it handles very well and the ford diesel earns praise. GPS is good. Front TV does not rotate as expected and could be considered a safety issue. I may have missed other concerns. I have been surprised that some Winnebago staff seem uninterested in dealing with legitimate problems.

We are extremely happy with our Era A. We opted for the A with the king in the back and slide-out storage underneath verses the dry bath with the queen in the slide. Drives like a dream (especially compared to our previous DP with steering add-on) with plenty of power and 18 MPG. Had a water pump issue Winnebago covered and a GPS freeze issue that seems to have been fixed by a recall on the Scan Disk (I was told about during this during a software update). Very quick setup and tear-down at the campground.

My wife and I both enjoy driving it. You sit higher and can see more scenery when driving. It's strikingly beautiful; we get comments all the time from folks along the road. No complaints about the warranty; it's easy to get an appointment at the local dealer, both Mercedes and Winnebago. We were thinking of just the 2 of us, but find with our 13 grandchildren we'd like to have more space. I bought a Swivelwheel 46 from a manufacturer in TX and had a local welder rig up a 2'x5' Rubbermaid storage box, special holders for our 2 bicycles, and larger swivel casters on the front legs so I can move it around easier when disconnected. That gave us all the extra storage space we needed. You don't even know it's there. The 4 wheel drive is great; we were in a muddy campsite on a steep entrance that we would have been stuck in any other RV. I was surprised by the power of the Turbo Diesel; it is really fast; no kidding, you have really hold back or it will pull ahead of everyone else at a stoplight. Finally it is quick and easy to set up camp! The more we use it the better we like it. But it's too small if we want to include all the kids.

We really like the floorplan (given class B limitations) and the Ford platform really works well. The cabinetry looks great, but I've had to repair a bunch of stuff they just didn't put together well (combination of sloppy work and too-small wood screws). I need to investigate the suspension option mentioned in the first review...it's a total tail dragger. Don't go off hardpack because it doesn't like any sand at all! Ours came with a 100w panel which didn't cut it. We added a 160 auxiliary panel and now that pulls the refridgerator and exhaust fan all day long, plus the odd lights. One weird note: there are three plugs for panels on the roof with just the one in use...those all go through the controller. But the plug on the side DOES NOT go through the controller. There is no more room on the roof for any additional panels, so you have to buy an entire auxiliary kit with controller vice just an additional panel.

7th month of owning this outstanding coach, 30 days on the road already. Just got back from 7 days of dry camping in Yosemite. Solar keeps the fridge/freezer cold in 100 degree heat with two extra solar panels ($550). The workspace table behind the passenger seat can be shortened for $125 enabling the seat can recline (otherwise you sit straight up!). My hubby and I are 5'11" so we added a swing-out support to extend the bed to King length (another $125). Airbags in the rear are essential to clear curbs and dips ($2,500) and occasional off-road parking. Getting 18mpg highway loaded down with mountain bikes and luggage rack, goes down to 12mpg with our trailer, RZR and 2 motorcycles but the engine is a beast and it pulls easily up the hills, passing other RVs and big rigs. Overall, couldn't be happier. Just don't leave the awning out in ANY kind of wind-- it does not pull back reliably and will flip up/rip. I use it as my primary vehicle and love driving it but gas mileage around town is poor. No regrets, we love it. Everywhere we go people want to see inside. The lighting makes the space seem large and the screens allow us to sleep with wind flowing through. Can't say enough...it's great!

This motorhome was close to 1/2 a million dollars, it was falling apart before we even received it. The mirror closet doors were on order because they had fallen off while driving it as did all the other doors and door handles wall paneling ...a list of over 50 items, we were on a trip to Illinois, and we're told to drive to forest city iowa! 4 days out of our way, we were told they knew we were comming and would take care of our problems. We got there and they told us they would fix 5 things on our list!we had the cost of a hotel, and the 5 things still were not fixed properly. We met with Ryan Roske a head guy, he was just sorry we had so many problems but really no help. The knock off "sleep# bed has cords to the controls that get pinched when you fold in the bed and pinched the cord so it won't work. He said it's just as good as a sleep #, which they. Said it was when we bought it. The whol thing has continued to fall apart since we bought it.sliders scratching tile floors now. The list is endless! Don't buy a Winnebago !

We purchased a new 2017 Winnebago 39fb Fifth wheel ..love the Rv with one main exception..you can drain the kitchen gray water without opening the black water, making it hard to use the downstairs bathroom. because you would have to drain black water every time you flush gray water .. Factory says that is designed that way??does anyone else have this problem..Makes no sense why would you have to do that there is even a separate handle for black and gray..

Wrote a review the other day on our 2017 Winnebago destination 39fb,about the downstairs gray water drainage. It was suppose to say that you have to pull the black water valve in order to get the gray water to drain. When you pull the gray water handle nothing happens..you must pull black water valve then the both drain..does not seem right

Bought the 36M 9/1/16, had it delivered home and immediately called dealership that we did not want the coach due to defects - laundry list. It seems dealer did nothing more than touch up inside and not check out any systems. Called Winnebago customer service twice and never to a call back. Unit had several defects from the factory. Their 113 point check did not cover everything, or they missed a couple. This is my second Winnebago which we had for 10 years. Not sure I will ever buy another, unless they get their act together.

This is such a beautiful RV! Kitchen design and quality appliances make it enjoyable to cook in. The bedroom built ins and under bed storage give all the storage & more that we needed. The attractive bathroom is roomy. Queen bed comfy. TV's in bedroom and kitchen/living area great! Lots of windows and huge panoramic wind shield is wonderful! Easy to drive - my wife never drove any RV before and found herself loving to drive our Winnebago Vista due to it's handling so easily. Even on our three week Texas trip traveling I 35 which was/is(lol)under construction & in heavy rain! The Vista also has a lot of storage outside as well. Plus the tail gate package is perfect to watch your favorite games on. Winnebago builds great RV's and in the USA!

VERY UNDERPOWERED, RPM slowed to 1400 before it downshifted! I feel that the power is very lacking but I'm a Retired Cummins employee. Backup Camera quit at about 2500 miles, stability fault after a gust of wind in Kansas which disabled the cruise control. To operate the slide outs you must have the ignition switch on even when hooked up to 30 Amp 115vac. Not many 115vac outlets interior; only 1 small clothes closet; came without stabilizers which it severely needs.
Very noisy when driving, to hear radio volume must be turned up pretty high - no gaskets around back of driver or passenger doors. to operate the generator you must turn on a switch at the steps and then go up to the control panel to actually start the generator - and it isn't in the manual. Plus other little things (only 1 trip odometer, 3 speed wipers, no indicator for DEF) all for an $100,000 plus vehicle!

This is our 3rd RV in 18yrs; have owned Fuse 23T (actually 24ft) 5-months (8,000 miles) with 20+days of warranty service by Ford or Winnebago. Ford issues: fluid leak requiring value cover replacement, passenger side whistling noise, engine light on at 10,000mi, potential "under sprung" springs. Winnebago issues: coach entry door lock stuck, drawer req'd extra latches, bathroom door req'd reframing, A/C rear vent knob detached, dinette req'd reenforcing, A/C noise LOUD, electric cord attachment recalled for torquing. Other Negatives: rearend overhang / bumper drag, unnecessary 3rd burner/oven, tanks oversized. Pluses: Ford diesel solid 16MPG, floor plan, bathroom/shower, large refrigerator. Still dealing with some of these issues.

Love the design of this coach. Very comfortable to travel and live in. Drives great. Only had it just over a month and already had many warranty issues with it. Mostly minor, but aggravating none-the-less. Bought this coach because of great warranty service reputation of Winnebago which we personally experienced having owned a Winnebago RV previously. We just hope our warranty issues get resolved in a timely manner. Would advise anyone buying this coach tp read the Facebook Winnebago Fuse Owners Group posts. Very helpful website.

I do like the way this RV drives, brakes and tracks easy to drive and does not feel like a boat when driving , I'm a ex army 22 wheeler truck driver and I think power and all that is great , Here's my problem with this coach that we bought new, 1st off the sink drain was never tighten correctly and leaked like a sift , someone cross theared the drain and all the plummers tape dried up it was bad leaked all over the inside of the cabinet , 2nd the turn signals in back left side half the lights don't work had to peplace the whole light and it is big , the overhead doors rattles when you drive and drives you nuts,, both faucets leak , and a few other small items but the biggest the hot water instant hot has never worked NEVER ! It's been in the service department. For going on 6 weeks as of today ! We bought it brand new , winnabgo is not what it claims to be with these quality problems

PROS: Drives effortlessly. Engine power/torque are quite adequate under all conditions, including steep grades in the Sierras. Over 4000 miles with lots of grades and interstate head-winds averaged 16.3 mpg; 17+ mpg at 55 mph. Only 10'2" tall to top of a/c.
CONS: Beds high quality, but a little firm. Drawers come open on corners; had to install extra latches. Very poor clearance in middle & departure angle. MAJOR ISSUE TO CONSIDER!

Like it mostly, new to us and some issues: hard to read gauges in instrument cluster, tail drag, very noisy coach door at speed, very noisy microwave ( cymbals clashing) no place for spare tire, drawers opening on turns, roll down blinds won't roll up, pretty noisy at speed, could use dual pane windows in our climate. Pretty basic dash layout from ford but it is meant to be a delivery van, get the one with the gps upgrade.

This rv has been one problem after another. Every trip ends up costing $$$ in repairs. This past trip was a new converter on a coach thats only been used a few time. There is terrible noice coming from the door while traveling, drawer itches keep breaking, tail lights glow dimly at night even when rv and lights are shut of, a window thats shut tight and latched whites while traveling down the road and when the wind blows and so many more issues. The Transit seems to be the best part of it. When it was brand new there was an issue with the crank sensor but thats been fixed and the transit is preforming well.

First road trip, wind gushes through door and slide out. No insulation. Too low to ground and drags on bumps. Front window cracked where rear view mirror attaches and were told it was too much pressure. Doors slide out in turns and latches break easy. Warranty took care of noise as weather stripping was added. Only 3800 miles and we are waiting on the answer to the window. Too many little things for a 100 K investment.

We just returned from a 15 day trip in our Minnie Winne 2250ds. It towed great with sway bars and the quality is amazing. I can live in this RV if needed. The only things that I was somewhat dismayed with is the satellite dots do not light up when an accurate signal is honed in on and the MATTRESS IS HORRIBLE. I am a 43 year old nurse and my back is SCREAMING. For what we paid for this RV $60,000 including tax, I am dismayed that I must buy a new mattress as the quality is departments store awe full. Definitely room for improvement there.

I bouh my ERA 170X dev 17 and drove 1300 miles. HAs a shake that is'nt resolved even with 2 new front tires. The propane stopped showing 1/2 tank. Hinges failed to keep the upper doors open and were replaced. Many latches pulled out or the doors. The radio wouldn't connect to my phone. The worst is the sofa bed. Makes a great family touring coach but a lousy, down in the middle bed. Reminds me of climbing out of a water bed. The cushions at the foot are higher than the sofa. I bought a gell foam to cover the low sofa and removed the seat cushions at the foot to level the sleeping area. The coach spent most of the year a camping world (10 months) getting repairs and waiting to get authorizations from Winnebago. I actually called and got authorization from W (after waiting 10 months) to get the tires balanced with the road loads. Found two tires out of spec.

Picked up our 2017 Era in October 2016. Immediately took it on a 200+ mile trip, and the next week on a 1,400 mile trip.

Drives like a much smaller vehicle. Good power and gas mileage. We like the chassis. Have MB Sprinter techs & service bays in our home town of Des Moines.

Would have preferred better coach build quality control, but like the up-to-date systems. Missed out on the larger 9" Infotainment System, though.

Would NOT purchase the accessory wardrobe cabinet again -- very poor quality.

Also would prefer positive locking upper cabinet latches.

Compared to LTV, Pleasureway, Airstream, Roadtrek adn Hymer. Chose the Era for systems, layout, price and overall value, although Canadian build quality is better.

Two people, two Labradors, and we all fit without bloodshed!

21' Class B on a Promaster Chassis with front wheel drive, super sharp turning radius, great visibility, mirrors and a back up camera is fun to maneuver and drive. Its peppy!
Standard array of RV appliances including a basic solar charging system that can be easily added to as you please. Truma super silent and efficient Hot water heater and furnace. Electric step, electric awning with lights, outdoor speakers, Bug screens, & window covers .
We love this van! Works great straight "out of the box", turns heads, parks anywhere. I take it to work often just cuz I can. We've had no quality issues, and at near half the price of competitors, I find myself recommending it every time I drive it.

2016 Winnebago ERA 70c. 6500 miles. This is our second Class B, the first being a Roadtrek SS Agile. We looked at many of the popular Sprinter based B vans, driving and spending hours debating features. We are over 65 and look for features that make touring and camping easier and more fun. Hands down, the larger more functional dry bath and additional space provided by the slide out made the decision easier. After living with the 70c for a while, we are convinced it was the right decision for us. We are both amazed at the interior room. Most of its systems work well. We've had a few small issues and one larger problem. I'm good at fixing things and went right to work taking care of the small things, adjusting cabinet and drawer latches, adding a paper towel holder, fixed rattling screens, added a soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower, shelf paper in cabinets, repaired nonworking LED light over the sink, precision balanced the tires, removed the long vertical pole near the sliding door, added a slightly larger tv, added a folding cup holder near the couch, bought a 1.5" memory foam topper for the bed (stored in the rear storage area), and bought nice gray mats for the front. The only semi major issue was a sometimes faulty power transfer switch. Our local dealers are mostly clueless so I ordered a new switch ($111.),found where it was hidden behind the circuit breaker box,and replaced it myself. I like a really smooth ride at 72 mph. It seems it's hard to get the dual wheels to balance smoothly. I had our best tire company forgo the stick on weights and use the regular knock on weights. They are finally running smooth. We average around 17.5 mpg. Our best has been 22.4 mpg and worst has been 16 mpg. Our final debate was between the 70a and the 70c. The larger dry bath and extra space was the final decision point. We are not large people, 5' 10" and 5'3", normal weight. The bed is comfortable and resonable for our size. If you are much taller or heavy, the 70a might be a better choice. Good luck and happy RVing.

Have the Fiat diesel option. Broke down in Kingman, AZ with 9,000 miles on the unit. Took three weeks to finally repair. Had to get a rent a car and drive 1680 miles home for work since the unit was going into the second week of repairs. Will have to fly out and pick up the unit this week; finally said it was repaired. Winnebago and Dodge has not said if they will cover hotel, gas, rent a car or airfare to fix their problem. They have really messed up our vacation with our purchase of their product! No warranty here really and we paid $74,000 for the unit!

Id love to give the Travato 5 stars all the way, because mine has been near perfect. But, there are units out there that tow more, and the warranty on a new one does seem a little short (1 year /15,000 miles).
Otherwise, this thing is great! Price is the best in the industry (New well optioned units can be bought easily for 75K despite what some ads may say).
Fold up bed leaves a ton of room for storage compared to other B\'s. Shower is bigger than most, beds are surprisingly comfortable and \"permanent\" dinette is bigger than most any other B. It Rides and sleeps 4 comfortably.
The promaster is the most nimble, quick and easy to drive vehicle of this size hands down. Front wheel drive, 17+ MPG gas, 21 MPG diesel. lower roof than the competition due to no driveshaft raising the floor. Super sharp turning radius makes parking a breeze. Solar makes generator almost completely unnecessary (but it\'s nice to have anyway) Automatic thermostatically operated vent/fan keeps unit cool when parked, even in the rain. Visibility is great, sound system, TV, stereo, USB ports, etc all are very good.
No complaints!

We had a 2008 Winnie Outlook that was as solid as they get. We were very loyal to the brand when it was time to move up.

Bought a nearly new 2016 Sightseer 35G last year (original owner dumped it after 900 miles) and it's been nothing but problems! As I dug into the tons of issues it became clear that there are two types of Winnebagos. Those built before 2010 and those afterwards. Quality of construction/assembly has REALLY taken a hit. Ours has been in the shop 4 of the 11 months we've owned it. Winnebago customer service has been great and kept extending the warranty. But that doesn't excuse the fact that they use staples to install things they should have screwed and glued. Including a 4" x 1" x 4' long heavy hardwood board above the driver. Yup....stapled into cabinetry and of course eventually fell off. Could have been a real problem if it hit someone. Items like the ladder rack pulled right out of the wall because it wasn't screwed into backing. All kitchen drawers fell onto the floor while driving dumping all contents because they used weak mechanisms. Two of the three slide outs have failed. Most recently because they were installed with cheaply make screws that sheared off causing the slide to jamb. Whole slide rack assembly now needs to be replaced. Gone for another month.

King pins were bad from the factory (Ford issue BUT Winnebago would have caught it IF THE WOULD HAVE ALIGNED THE UNIT before it shipped....according to a local chassis expert that would have been impossible with these king pins...therefore Winnie didn't even do that...sloppy).

I can excuse vendors' products (like generators/refrigerators/whatever) that have issues in the beginning as the MH manufacturer can only a certain amount of testing before delivery. We've been through the new MH drill and a certain amount of that just happens. To me the quality of the assembly/install/parts are critically important. Even though those can be flawed I can't excuse dumb engineering design and cheap cheap parts. Or sheer laziness (king pins). That's what happened to Winnie. Very sad as the old ones were tanks. Trading this in on a different manufacturer's unit. No more Winnebago for me (sadly!).

I purchased a 2016 Winnebago Adventurer and had nothing but problems with it. I only had use of it 17 days in the first 90 days, the rest of the time was in the shop. Problems to name just a few...

Steering was lose (wandered all over road, unsafe)
Wing Window @ desk (fell out)
Severe water Leak @ kitchen sink, flooded coach under drawers soaked and sub floor
Valve fresh @ water intake (failed)
Water blew out fresh water intake
Entry Door (failed)
Lounge & Bedroom lights (failed)
Fluid Leak (brake, power steering)
Awning (wouldn’t open fully)
Fresh Water Tank (valve stuck open)
Solar Shade (continually loses settings)
Dining Table (damaged)
Drawer Pulls (mismatched)
Wiper Blades fell off (plastic snapped on use)
Panel behind bedroom door (not fully attached)
Mirror cameras were switched
Leak in vents
Shades behind couch won’t roll up

I had enough and complained to Winnebago, their response "we pay the dealer to fix these things" When I asked about the supposed 135 point inspection before leaving the factory and how they could not find some of these issues-silence. I told them it was a lemon and they needed to take it back, no go wouldn't even consider it. Ended up trading it in and getting a 5th wheel. Once you buy it they don't care pure and simple and reasonable person would admit it was a lemon.

I've driven 1500 miles in 5 months and the bed above the cab is cracking. Three cracks where the bed attaches to the side wall. Dealer will take as a trade in but I am required to pay $12,500 trade in amount for the SAME vehicle. Winnebago should eat the difference due to workmanship issue. The bed cab needs to come off and a new one needs to be installed. You cannot fix a structure issue. Dealer wants to sand down cracks and reapply fiberglass to hide cracks but this does not repair vehicle cause. The cause is there is no flexibility for overhead bed cab because it lays on top of sprinter driving cab...

Very easy to drive and nimble in traffic. Floorplan is great and enjoy the electronics. However, nearly impossible to put air in the rear dual wheels and extenders are not recommended by anyone. Also, the operating manual is not model specific and leaves a lot of information unknown, particularly with the plumbing system. e.g., where are bypass valves for winterizing and what position do they need to be in. Diagrams are not helpful. Also, processes for winterization are not well stated. Manuals need much improvement and detract from an otherwise very nice RV.

We have owned the Winebago a year and a few months. The Mercedes engine has plenty of power for towing a small to medium car. This Navion has the 6 cyl. diesel engine and gets 14 to 16 MPG. It drives and parks very easy. With the slideouts, the cozy interior is livable. The Jensen sound system is fantastic with the TV sounding like a real theater. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to escape the big city for camping adventures on small or long trips. The awning is huge for shade. The storage is sufficient. My husband is "portly" and the bathroom has plenty of room for him to be comfortable which was our main reason for buying this model. We were downsizing from a 30ft motorhome. The kitchen is sufficient although the walls are awful to clean when splattered from food from the stove. We loved the light colored look of the walls and furniture to get away from the dark paneling in most campers. The queen mattress was TERRIBLE and I didn't realize it until after we bought which was my mistake, it was hard as a rock so we switched it with our guest room mattress before our trip. This make the bed extremely high and awkward but very comfortable. The couch seemed comfortable at first but is narrower than a normal couch and broke the 2nd time we used it, it was replaced sloppily under warranty and the front board is still hanging. The dinette also seemed comfortable even for my husband but is NOT comfortable as a bed and the cushions do not fit properly at all when made into a bed. The nearest place to warranty is an hour away so haven't brought it back yet. I have no problem at all with the A/C, Frig, Sink, Stove, septic system. It tows great with our 2500 Dodge too. I would've liked fewer drawers with a bottom cabinet instead but we tend to overpack so cabinet room is fine. Bathroom linen cabinet if Fantastic! Double doors which let you access bedroom and kitchen when slide is in is a big plus for those quick stops and while not in use. The closet is large and we added a 4 drawer plastic type dresser inside since we didn't need too much hanging room. I would've liked wall switches instead of having to reach up and turn the lights on. We added a canopy over the slide-out and felt that should've been included in the price but overpaid for it anyway. Ours is the gray outdoor color pattern which matches our truck nicely but gets really dirty since we live in FL and store it out in the yard. We are trying to find a place to build a pole barn to put it under. So in conclusion, I like everything but the couch and dinette cushions which I'm trying to get resolved.

I am having a love/hate relationship with this RV.

For the most part, I have been pleased with the quality of the unit. The exceptions being the incredibly noisy brakes on the Promaster chassis, the fact the LED lights are dying after only a couple of months of heavy use (I hear this is a typical Winnebago issue), the water inlet that split after one year that I replaced with what looks like a sturdier unit from Camping World, the broken radio that is being replaced under warranty, and the minimal issues with things coming unglued and screws backing out. I hope to find replacements for the Winnebago LEDs that require the entire light fixture to be replaced.

The coach travels well...tracks well and steers easily. It is a bit underpowered on some of the steeper roads in the mountains, but that is overcome by manually putting the transmission into fourth gear and keeping the RPMs in the peak torque range of about 4000 RPMs. It is sometimes a pleasure to drive with great visibility and decent acceleration on flat terrain for being a 6 cylinder gas engine. I find it sufficiently comfortable for two people to travel in for extended periods of time, and it is a breeze to level and set up/break down when arriving and leaving campsites.

Major issues: Acceptable tires are only made by Continental and are sometimes difficult to get. There is no spare on the coach, and even if you get road service to help, the chances of them having a spare that is rated for the vehicle is slim. I know this because I had a flat on the interstate and had to limp home on a light truck tire before being able to order a new one and a spare from tire rack. Now I carry an unmounted spare on a bicycle rack on the back.

Most Chrysler dealers will not work on the Promaster chassis, and some will actually sit there and bad mouth the vehicle. I think this is a Ram issue (I am not real impressed with the way they've handled getting their dealerships on the same page after the Fiat merger). I have to travel 195 miles to have any warrany work or service done by a dealership.

The Trend drives like a champ. The acceleration, braking, and handling are impressive. Its nimble size allows me to drive it just about anywhere. It sleeps my family of five comfortably but not having a slide means tight quarters for daytime living; forces everyone to go out and about. Winnebago has been great about fixing the numerous issues within the first year. The loft bed broke within the first three months, led lights failed, center stack gauges failed, swivel seat broke, and exterior paint started to peel. Despite these issues I am happy with this nimble RV and the adventures it takes us on.

We have been very pleased with our Minnie and regret having to sell it due to health. We found the Minnie 22R to be very easy to drive and park. It has good storage inside and out. Cummins generator is quality. The beds are comfortable. No slides to worry about. Winnebago quality throughout.
The 5.4 Triton engine is great on flat terrain (14 miles per gallon) however on the 7% steep grades of the Big Horn mountains it suffers somewhat, therefore not allowing us to pull a towed vehicle.

I purchased this unit in Aug 2015. Two days later the generator stopped working. Back to the dealer. Repaired it and two hours later it stopped again. Back to the dealer. Two weeks later the battery/alt light came on. Back to the dealer and MB shop. Melted battery cover due to poor workmanship by Winnebago. Sink fell out of the galley sink. Electrical had to be rewired at the fuse box since Winnebago miss wired it at the factory. 3 LED inside lights failed and had to be replaced. I was never told to load my unit and have the front end realigned. It cost me $750.00 to repair (2 tires and alignment) after only 7700 miles. Called Winnebago after sending them 3 emails (which they never answered). They told me the dealer needs to make all repairs since it left the factory. I love the Sprinter Diesel and it gets over 18 mpg. Cabinet drawer had to be repaired since the factory failed to secure it before shipping. The propane valve was the major problem for the appliances not working properly (generator, stove, furnace and refrigerator). I have never heard of so many issues/problems from a major manufacturer like Winnebago. My unit spent more time at the dealership for repairs the first 7 months than I had it on the road.

I have experienced 2 recalls of my motorhome. First: defective propane hose inside the coach. I found about the leaks when I opened the door and the smell of propane was overwhelming, When I called Winnebago they stated "DIDN'T YOU GET YOUR RECALL NOTICE" (I did notify the NTSB about the lack of notification on a safety recall by Winnebago). I took it to a dealer and had it fixed. Second: (NHTSA17V-262) involves the Radio control module. It is the interface between your radio and the steering (volume, etc) wheel. The fix from Winnebago is to remove the interface. When I questioned Winnebago they said "We will just remove the interface, when I ask what the fix to the interface was they stated that Winnebago is not going to fix the interface just remove the interface module. My steering wheel controls related to the radio will no longer function after the interface is removed. When I asked how can you just remove part of the motorhome that I paid for their statement was "It's not optional equipment so we can just remove it" (I'm glad the engine or transmission doesn't have a problem, I don't think they are optional equipment either. I don't see how a manufacturer can be so calluses as to just remove parts that were paid for and not care about their product, reputation or the consumer. Anyone purchasing a new RV should strongly consider the company's reputation and consumer support. Try to call Winnebago customer service, you will see how they care about the customers (1 to 2 hour wait unless you are calling sales). I will definitely never purchase another Winnebago product or recommend one of their products to anyone.

Over a period of over 40 years, we have owned several travel trailers and 5 motorhomes, including 3 diesel pushers. Our 2015 Winnebago Journey is, without question, the best handling and most comfortable motorhome of them all and that includes our previous Newmar Ventana and Tiffin Phaeton. This coach drives like a dream with a very smooth and comfortable ride with virtually no side sway or porpoising The Maxxum Chassis by Freightliner with the Cummins ISL 380 HP engine and Allison transmission is a really good combination. When towing, you can tell it as it has power to spare. We've driven all over the mountains in the West and this coach climbs better than some cars and we rarely needed the truck lanes. The 40R floor plan is what really sold us and once the wife saw it, she had to have it. It's a unique front kitchen layout with a split kitchen -- stove & pot filler on the passenger side and dual sink, pantry, & microwave/convection oven on the driver side, giving it the most kitchen counter and work space of any floor plan we have seen. Our coach came with the optional King air adjustable bed in a very large MBR with a nice master bath. The half bath up front is really nice to use when the slides are in when stopped or traveling down the road. The basement storage bays have more space than even some 42' or larger tag axle rigs and ours has the optional portable Norcold refrigerator/freezer. On our maiden trip, we stopped by the Winnebago factory in Forest City, Iowa and even without an appointment, we were able to get our entire punch list taken care of in just a few days -- very good service! In summary, this coach provides us with everything we need in a RV and is the best of the best!

We bought our 2015 Winnebago Journey new with a factory delivery from Lichstinn Motors in forest City Iowa. This has been a trouble free coach with no issues. We picked up our coach with 8 miles on the odometer and broke it in per the Cummins literature. No towing or cruise control for the first 10000 miles. The price was the best in the USA and the service is 5 star at Lichstinn motors. Mileage averages 9 to 10.5 miles per gallon. You can't find a better coach for the money with opposing sofas, two electric fireplaces, full wall slides and polished granite flooring. It is two years old now with 26,000 trouble free miles. Don't buy your next coach from some dealer after some delivery dude drove it wide open from the factory to the dealer towing a 4,000 toad.

This is are second coach. The first coach was replaced through the California Lemon law... And we are still having trouble with this coach. It has been to the dealership they so called fixed the issues. .. And the factory has never once called or checked with us to see how we are doing with the new coach... It's to bad, once they have your money they really don't care any more. ..

Went to the dealership almost 100 miles away to buy a part for my 5th wheel and left purchasing the Sightseer 35G . This is a great floor plan in my opinion tons of room in the lounge and kitchen. Usually its just two of us but recently had 9 adults sitting comfortably inside for cocktails when it began to rain outside. When it stopped we stayed inside it was so relaxing and convenient to have the kitchen and refrigerator close by. The bedroom is just the right size. It is in the back and uses only enough floor space that is needed for the time that we spend in there sleeping or doing laundry(I have the optional washer and dryer). The bath is split (shower on one side split by the hallway to the bedroom and the toilet sink on the other) I never liked this configuration before but I finally figured out that by closing the sliding doors to the bedroom and the kitchen creates one large bath and that works for me. It drives like what you would expect on the F53 chassis, but since i have completed some suspension upgrades and Wow what a difference, with these mods I would say the driving is now 4star not 3. I gave warranty support 3 stars because their dealership network in a major metro area like Chicagoland is very limited, you would think they would have better exposure in one of the closest major markets to their factory. They loose out to some of the other manufacturers that are winning here.

The first appearance is very nice. after living in this coach for one month while on a travel job the quality is apparent that. The finish product of this Winnebago is poor.
The plumbing was loose in the kitchen and shower making a mess
The shower was nor caulked at all and there was a screw hole in the shower pan.
All of the cupboards would not close
The LEDs lights where replace 4x.s before Winnebago said there might be a problem, I had to do this myself
The hydraulic jacks loose pressure and the door is hard to sit and open just after 9 days
Soft spots in the floor
poor design and use of kitchen sink and faucet water leaks everywhere
J bed couch stapled and glued poor structure broken
Dinner Table not installed correct rattled when on the road or sitting at table
Not designed for access roof ladder
Very disappointed .
After having our Minnie Winnie for 10 yrs with out a problem

Bought a new 2015 Vista from dealer in Hammond. Picked it up and drove home, 150 miles. Rattles all over, shower door won't stay closed, wind noise, can't see screen on radio because of glare, light above bed doesn't have a light switch, hood brackets held on by glue, leveling jacks quit working after a year, 2 engine rods bent messing up pistons and camshaft, rain guards on windows come off so often I buy 4 at a time, microwave door at times won't close, drawer locks on one drawer missing, radio speakers went out, water leak at both ends of slide, arms on captains chairs don't have support on ends so foam bends tearing fake leather, fresh water filler is in same compartment as sewage connection, under drawer in bedroom is hole that looks into sewer connection so smell gets into rv. In short, look at another rv.

I took possession of my new RV a week ago. Ford engine had a severe oil leak that the dealer didn't notice. It was taken back to the dealer and repaired. This could have been a very nasty surprise if I had left right away on my planned cross country National Park tour.
Other issues found:
-Shower surround is badly cracked around the bottom lip, caulking is also cracked with open seams.
-Top edge of the roof, along the left front has open seam with cracked caulking.
-Side bump out rubber seal at the top rear corner is torn.
-Looking underneath, angled cuts of the square tubing used for the camper body supports are not painted at all, and already show rust. There is also a fairly significant amount of rust beginning on the underside. To date, this unit has only been driven from the manufacturer to the dealer, for a total of less than 1000 miles, and then to my home (7 miles).
-There are unsealed wiring entries from underneath into the RV body.
-Each time the AC unit fan ran, sawdust kept blowing out of the vents. I had to remove all the vent opening, run the fan, and bang on the ceiling starting at the AC unit and moving down to each vent opening to clear it all out. Simply using a vacuum attachment on the hole saw that cut the openings in the paneling would have prevented having to deal with this.

I am pretty disappointed in my first RV purchase. The dealer has been correcting issues as I find them, but this is a brand new RV and if there had been a decent quality control inspection before it left the Winnebago plant I would have expected these issues to be be found and corrected.

I had to rate the Manufacturer Warranty/Support, but I have not had deal with Winnebago as of yet. The dealer has been correcting them for me. I marked it as a 3 but would have left it blank if accepted.

Quality of this motorhome is marginal at best. I was always told Winnebagos were the premier RV to own? I found out that they are built no better than others you just pay a premium price for them. I was surveyed by Winnebago after I bought it. I expressed my concerns with the quality. Its been almost a year and have yet to hear from them. They evidently careless what comes back on the survey. Bought this motorhome without first driving it, what a mistake. The engine is so noisy, plus loud road noise, my wife and I could hardly have a conversation. The worse part was when I had to suddenly hit the brake the brake my shin hit the hard sharp plastic skirt at bottom of display panel cutting my shin and making it impossible for me to drive safely. Dealer would not make a reasonable offer of exchange for another model. After putting 68 miles on it he offered me only $29,900 less than what I paid for it. I had to dump it at a $20,000 loss. Took 4 months to sell it at that.

2015 sightseer less than 7000 miles 1st trip to yellowstone had cut trip short, back to san diego, 6 weeks in shop for multiple repairs. Recall on steps 6-8 months later due to possible popping out during driving. This trip, 7-2016, engine dies coming down mountains out of St george utah to mesquite. No power steering no brakes, put my family\'s lives in jeopardy. Hour and a half on the side of the freeway with no cell service. My son holding a hand written sign to call cops or tow. Finally started and made it down the mountain( much to my wife\'s reluctance). Called winnebago told to take it to ford, ford fixed it saying it was due to fuel pump grounds put on painted surface/ or painted over causing fuel pump to short out. This negligence could have cost lives but ford and winnebago want to blame each other neither want to pay for the repairs. Family is to scared to use rv anymore, $110,000 for a ticking time bomb.

I was initially concerned about driving an RV due to its size and weight. This RV handles excellently. I have driven it thrice from NY to Florida without any problems/ handling was fantastic. It had excellent layout, with ample sleeping space. I read the other reviews, of which I am always suspicious of authenticity. There are no plumbing issues, no broken things, no unfinished details. Plus, didnt they check it out before purchase and didn't they buy a warranty?! This machine was made in America and shows the quality of American craftsmanship. It starts on a dime, runs smooth, has cool features and clearly was a well thought out machine. The 2015 Brave also has a really neat electric table that comes out from beneath the sofa. I am impressed and believe it is worth a look at.

Excellent RV!
The bed in corner has no privacy and it diets higher so shorter people like my daughter who is 5'0" needs a stool to get up. When there are 2 people in bed, it's hard for my daughter to scoot around me when I'm next to bathroom and difficult to scoot around when my daughter is laying next to bathroom in bed.
I wish the bed was lower and had privacy but that's it. Besides that it is very comfortable to drive and space to sit down sitting comfortably.

Easy to drive. Comfortable drive on the interstate and I am able to keep of with traffic flow. I've have purchased this vehicle 18 months ago. Air condition performs great in hot weather. I returned the vehicle to dealership during the first few months due to a broken antenna crank and water was getting in to the mini storage compartment on the passenger side. I am overall happy with this vehicle.

After owning all types of RV's through the years (32' class A, travel trailer, class B), my wife and I were looking for something easier to drive and get into camping areas without sacrificing too much livability. After extensively researching, examining and test driving all the options, we decided this was the best coach for us (2 people and a dog). Winnebago made a huge change with their 2015 and newer coaches of this model that make it truly exceptional. We've owned it for 3 years and it has been everything we hoped for!

Bought the coach new with a winegard SWM sat already installed, We love the second dinette as it serves as my office when we are on the road, like the bunks we do not have any one sleep in them we use the top bunk which lowers as a storage place for all the kitchen covers. We looked at the Tour, Journey and decided on the Forza, there really is not in opinion any real difference between them as they all have the same engine make, chassis and transmission yes the tour and Journey have a bigger engine, but I put a Banks water/methanol injection system on it for about $1600 which runs on -20 degree windshield wiper fluid and when I need extra power to go up a hill a push the button I have an added 140 Horse power and about 300 more foot pounds of torque, then I just push the button again and it goes off. We did not want all the fancy wood and tile flooring or cabinets as it just adds weight and maintenance. I could not justify the extra $100,000. We love the coach and the storage, Tows great and we are getting about 10 MPG. Great Diesel pusher for the money, if you do not need all the extra décor you cannot go wrong, we have 22,000 miles in 2 years.

The floor plan is nice , but the built quality is crap. The main slide out leaks. Two of the outside compartments leaked. One of the outside compartment doors that was not lined up properly and "fixed" by the dealer, jammed and we needed to brake into it to get it open. Engine coolent leaking from under the stove area and seeping out from under the cabinet ( from the engine assisted water heating system). Plastic covering the vents for the propane heating system in the walls in the main living area ( no heat coming out of vents). The frames were separating from the windows and when fixed the dealer either replaced the wrong window or did it incorrectly (screens and or window won't open and shut). Worse of all was having to deal with a completely incompetent dealer who screws up the work orders, replaces wrong items, doesn't place appointments for service in computer, doesn't return phone calls or emails, and refuses to stand behind their crappy work.

We love it, especially the bath and 1/2. The shower is nice and big. The 3 slides make it roomy. I do wish there were only one sewer connection, but it would be difficult with 2 gray and 2 black tanks. The big tv in the front could be located in a better place, but after the slide is out, it is ok. The entrance door could use a gas cylinder opener as in the 2015 model. It continuously swings open and hits the awning support. All in all, we are very pleased with the coach, even though it is not a luxury model. It is luxurious enough for us. I would prefer a diesel, but it rides good for a gasser and gas is much cheaper.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this Minnie Winnie. For one who never drove a truck or towed anything, this RV is easy to drive and manages really well. In 2015, we drove from Texas to Michigan on a three week trip and had not one moment of trouble. In June of 2016, I stayed in it for three weeks in a campground about two hours north of Dallas, Texas. I was facilitating professional development for teachers in a small school district, so I was up early every morning, dressing professionally, and home late in the evening. I cooked every meal in the RV and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The only reason we are selling it is that it is bigger than we need, and we want a smaller unit to keep at the house.

Multiple issues from the first time we purchased it brand new. Too many to name but here are some of them. We took it to cold weather for the maiden trip and had a gas leak on propane tanks so we had no heat for the whole Thanksgiving weekend trip. Then the laminate on the molding around the ceiling began to peel off. The surround sound speakers had to be fixed so we had to have it rewired. The awning lighting had to be repaired since coming out of track. We notice heavy wear on one tire so ww had it checked. One of the axles was bent and we had to repair it and replace a tire. Told by mechanic that there was no way a small curb did that bend. I must mention we purchased the extended warranty and it did not cover the repair. We also had to take the unit in due to the air conditioning constantly running and not cooling and was told by service dept it was fine. Took it back in and the whole ac unit had to be replaced due to not cooling. Then we noticed a leak coming through the tv antenna during a storm. We took it in and asked for a full search of issue. A leak was discovered at the antenna area, so while being fixed we upgraded the antenna. The next month we took a long weekend trip and I discovered a huge puddle on the bedroom mattress. We climbed up top to find that the roof coating was peeling off a camper we purchased less than 2 years ago in October 2014!!! Are you kidding me!! Grrrr!!! We have the extended warranty so we took it back in to service dept to be told it wasn't covered. I am furious!!! Just my luck, ughhh! What a lemon!

Do not buy this camper! Looks great. But it will leak. Only had it two years and the front cap has caved in and the decals are ripping apart. This should not happen to a camper this new. Tried to talk to Winnebago. They are absolutely no help. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You would think with a known brand like Winnebago you would get top notch service. You won\'t. Go with someone else....

Front decal started to rip as soon as we got it. Talked to the manufacturer and they said bring it to Indiana and they would fix it. Local dealer said they would not get enough money to fix it. Now the roof has a soft spot from water damage and the dealer said it has been that way probably as long as we have had it. Our dream is now a nightmare. Oh ya, the spayer port started to leak after 2 years. Sorry we bought it!

Cabinet door in bedroom was damaged after warranty expired. I wrote to the Warranty Department at Winnebago. As a goodwill endeavor, a replacement door was shipped to me at no cost. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. I continue to spread the good word about our Winnebago Ultralite 27RBDS. It has provided us with many months of great service, living in it for up to 3 months, and traveling several weeks at a time throughout the United States. Excellent design in a rig of this size. We hope to be blessed with good health to be able to continue traveling in our Winnebago Ultralite Travel Trailer.

We almost feel guilty when we go camping in our aspect we have had zero problems while others languish in the disaster of premature failure of components, or just plain inexcusable, sloppy workmanship. The handling, floorplan, storage, and towing all deserve superior marks, with the only drawback appearing to be a cramped shower. I would recommend this unit to anyone who's looking for trouble free luxury travel. The livability is excellent.... we love it!

We bought this motorhome because of the GM chassis with 324hp engine and HD 6 speed transmission with automatic grade braking and 5k tow pkg for our Jeep. We added a spare tire, MaxxAir vent covers for hail protection, electric hot water, AVS Bug Guard and Sewer Solution gray-black water system. We really like this floorplan making slides unnecessary. We traveled light so we always had to raise front to level RV. It has a huge cargo bay, large enough for spare tire to sit upright. The electric bay is also large. ALL utility hook ups are on left side in middle third making RV park connections easy. Driving and handling were excellent.
On downside:
Dinette is typical low back uncomfortable boat cushion design.
Lack of 12v fridge operation while traveling.
Nasty Panasonic in-dash Radio system unusable while driving as requires stopping to adjust or change stations, cute but dysfunctional in any RV as totally not ergonomic. Small lettering with tiny grey lettering on grey or black background.
Shower skylight was designed too large, thermal expansion contraction, 100+ during day to 20s at night caused sealant separation at all 4 corners.
Overall nice unit, good OEM products, quality control during construction was FAIR as electric bay was not caulked, 3 drawers needed glides reset, furnace ducting had to be unkinked, water system drains needed to be relocated for freefall of water. Workers where in a hurry, so craftsmanship was NOT their goal.

This floorpan for us is the best. Best slides out back. Our 3rd rv and Winnebago quality is the best. It's a perfect little rv for two people some pets and if you are active. The diesel engine is awesome and is pretty good up at mile high city of Denver. At sea level it's fantastic. Very nicely built. If I had some upgrades I would upgrade 110v plugs up in the cabin, a heater vent up front too.

We bought a 2014 Itasca Viva from a dealer in Ontario. We had nothing but problems with it, since the day we picked it up.
We took it back to the factory in Iowa with a list of 40+ items to be fixed, including, but not limited to: Hot & cold taps backward, furnace didn't work, bed fell apart, bathroom door wouldn't close, on & on. The quality of workmanship is terrible. We thought Winnebago was top of the line & Itasca was their best. NOT.

It has been back & forth from the Winnebago dealer to the Chrysler dealer several times, because it developed a wobble at @ 30mph & neither can figure out the problem & each blames the other. Chrysler said it was a drive shaft (it is front wheel drive), or maybe from the weight distribution of the coach. The final answer was that Winnebago says it is the liquid in the tanks. There is no way an RV owner would be able to travel with tanks totally empty. It is unrealistic to expect us to empty it in the desert or on the beach, before we return home.

We tried to deal with the dealer to trade this lemon in, but they basicly told us they didn't want to deal with us.

Purchased in June 2017, now have 23500 miles. Love way coach drives and 14-16 mpg. Last 6,000 mile 4 week trip averaged 15.5 in west mountains. Good storage space for a two person 4 week trip. Drives more like a nice car rather than a truck. Size allows us to travel almost anywhere, yet adequate living space. Decent power ascending any mountain. Comfortable ride. One drawback would like a larger refrigerator. The 23L can sleep up to six. The Trend offers good quality at MRSP. I highly recommend this coach.

The diesel sprinter is fun and easy to drive but can feel top heavy and requires attention when driving in windy conditions. I had to de rattle the van at first and adjust or secure various accessories due to sloppy manufacture. Once the bugs are corrected all systems such as the refrigerator , ac and or the generator work great and are the same units used by many other manufacturers . Very roomy B van but also adds to its long 24 ft. Length which can cause some parking issues. A good value for the buck because you still get the dependable Mercedes sprinter chasis.

We bought the unit new Mar 2014, so it sat on the lot for 1yr before we bought it. Pros: The design and layout was great! Even had a fireplace! However, that was as good as it got! Buyers be ware! The unit was in the shop 67% of the time we owned it!!! Many issues with electrical, wind noise and just before I traded it in, the slide broke down. On our first weekend out, AC went out, I had to go to Walmart and buy a window unit. Every time we used it, We had to take it in to the dealer the following Monday. Retained an attorney who stated we definitely had a product liability suit but no guarantee on outcome as lemon law in Texas is primarily for auto not RV! Cost for legal representation would cost $38k, so after 11 1/2 months of dealing with issues that were under warranty but never really fixed, and now about to expire, we took our losses and traded into a Newmar Dutch Star which is by far a better built coach! I do NOT recommend Winnebago product to anyone who is looking into one!!!

Traveling in an RV was a total new experience for me. I had camped in tents as a girl, never in “luxury campers”. The Winnebago Tour is a home away from home for us. It is very comfortable with a full refrigerator and spacious galley, enough space for everything. The dishwasher was a big plus for me, as much as I like to cook, I dislike the cleanup. Camping in State Parks with only 30 AMP services was not a problem, the power alternating system on the Winnebago kept us very comfortable. The TV satellite system we installed worked great wherever we camped, so we could both watch our favorites no problem. The super large shower with sky light was really a treat, having on demand hot water made a hit for us. Need that at home! No grousing over who used all the hot water. The only thing I didn’t care about was the dark king size bedspread that came with the coach, I swapped it out for a lighter color that I preferred.
Like most women, I like clothes and shoes, the large closet and dresser took everything with ease, my honey even had some space! The air ride of the coach is really amazing, we traveled along in great comfort. Traveling through the mountains with the 450 Turbo Cummins Diesel was easy.

We have had our Journey for 3 years and have been so totally dissatisfied that we had to sue for the Texas Lemon Law (and won). Customer service is horrible from Winnebago and the dealer. The first year it was in for repairs 6 mos out of 12. Almost every time we take a trip something breaks down. The entertainment center has never worked properly (our last trip went two weeks with no Satellite, Cable or DVD, several repairs on slides (still not fixed), electric control system went, and on and on and on. The only thing positive I can say about it is that it does handle well and the floor plan is excellent. We just traded it for an Entegra (very high reviews)and waited so long because we could not find a floor plan we liked as much. We go to several rally's including the Winnebago in Iowa and have not talked to one couple that had anything positive to say about their Winnebago coaches. We just returned from an Entegra rally and did not hear of one unhappy owner. This was the main reason we decided to finally make the trade, losing approx. $100,000 plus all the interest that has been paid to do it.

Bought this used about 6 months ago. Been out about 6 times, probably spent 5 weeks in it so far in total and driving about 2000 miles some back roads. Getting 9.5 MPG. Very comfortable to drive, just finished Naples to ATL 630 miles in one day. Much better than doing it in a car.

I think the coach is a good value. It is built well and I think the Chassis is a good quality chassis. The house is solidly built. They tried hard to put in quality appliances and features.

The kitchen is very workable and the residential fridge is an amazing convenience. There is no pantry but there is plenty of storage within easy reach to serve as a pantry. The hood vent actually exhausted the air not just blow it back out the top. The washer and dryer work well and we find them very convenient. The washer is very quite and uses very little water, but it is not on the inverter.

The full wall slide really opens up the coach bay making the hall at the bath nice and roomy.

The Maxum chassis provides a basement that gives this coach the storage of a regular 40 but with better access. Storage inside is equally impressive It also has a true 10000 lb towing capacity. Some coaches require you to reduce your payload to tow a full 10K, this one does not.

It comes with a whopping 660 amp hours consisting of 6 AGM batteries, no cutting corners there. No maintenance easy to own, expensive to replace but LiFEPo4 will probably be available by the time these wear out. It has a neat power management system that used the massive 2800 watt inverter to make being on 30 amp or even on 15 amp much more workable. It also comes with an automatic A/C source switch to switch from grid or generator power that includes good surge protection.

We prefer the sliding windows that open very wide to the new "frameless" that only flip out on the 2014 and later coaches.

The lighting is pretty amazing on the inside. Lights everywhere.

The two exhaust fans can really move the air.

My wife loves the MCD shades.

The roof is very cleaning organized and I was able to install 12 big solar panels for a whopping 1200 watts of solar to charge all those batteries.

Now for the nits and they really don't detract from much from our pleasure in owning it.

It does not come with good battery monitoring, and you will want to upgrade your inverter remote, they put in the cheapest one.

We have the digital comfort rest mattress which is a full queen, but we don't find it all that good. Probably will get a 3" memory foam topper.

The kitchen sink is set a little deep to be used from straight on but ok from the corner.

The dryer is pretty noisy but it works quite well.

I would like another cup holder for the driver.

The IPOD interface on the dash is junk, they should have just provided a cable.
It also doesn't have a 1/4 headphone jack for input, it does have USB.

We are not big TV watchers and that is good because none of the TV's are easy to view except the lounge from the dinette and only for two people.

You really can not use the bedroom without the closet slide out.

I think the passenger side basement doors are way to big, they. Should have made the water tank door separate. They really catch the wind and swing way out.

The A/Cs are zoned but they both use the same duct work so you can't really cool just the back or the front with out closing the vents (easy) and blocking the returns (hard). This may be common in many coaches.

The outlet we use the most ( for our laptops) at the dinette is not on the inverter, this should be easy to fix.

The bed room door, which we never use anyway, is hard to use.

Our Motor Home is very well laid out. We traveled 8500 miles in 3 months this last summer. It was really comfortable and cozy. The Triton V10 worked great and towed our Honda CRV with no problems. We really loved the tow-haul button. It was amazing how well it worked. 90% of the roads were really rough so it was a good thing my hubby is handy and had a good tool/repair kit along. He had to put longer screws into one end of the sofa., Tighten up the shower doors, tighten up the shades etc. Our biggest headache was to devise a system to keep the bedroom doors from breaking free while moving. Our rig was hard to handle in the wind. But overall, we love our rig and would highly recommend a Winnebago Adventurer to other rvers. We're looking forward to traveling to the West next summer. We wrote to Winnebago with some suggestions we think would even make it a better Motor Home for future models. They were very receptive to our letter and suggestions. Winnebago is a Great Company to work with.

"Elegant" is the one word I use to describe our motorhome. From the driver's seat to the standard-size, walk-around queen bed in the rear of the coach it's pure elegance every inch!

The Ultraleather seats and dinette cushions are tough yet soft to the touch and easy to keep clean.

The kitchen is a dream. Beautiful Corian counters, ample cabinets and drawers for all your kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans, bake ware, etc. Add to that an awesome convection/microwave, a 3-burner gas range and gas oven (that all look like new) there isn't anything that you can't prepare in this kitchen! The 2-door refrigerator is quite large and has an ice maker! Now that's what I call 'camping'.

The enclosed bathroom not only has lots of storage and ample room to move around in, it's beautiful too. It also has a 'porcelain' toilet! So much easier to clean than plastic. The shower is 'not' an afterthought. There is just about room for two! :)

The bedroom suite is gorgeous! Plenty of room to walk around the standard-size queen bed. A huge mirrored 4-door closet with 3 chest drawers below. Don't want to watch what's playing on the 42" LCD TV in the main cabin. No problem. There's a 27" LCD TV in the bedroom and you have a very comfy queen mattress to lay on to watch. A far better mattress than you usually find in a motorhome!

The amount of storage in the basement is incredible. And since this motorhome has hardly been used, the carpet in the storage compartments looks like new and still smells like new. There is room for all your camping accessories (chairs, tables, counter top BBQ, etc.).

Once you arrive at your destination it just takes the push of a button to level the coach thanks to the hydraulic controls. Push two more buttons to extend the two slides. And push a couple more buttons to extend the awnings and you're set.

To quote my husband one night (when we were 'camping') having been out fishing all day, taking a shower and enjoying a bowl of ice cream after dinner he said: "I Just LOVE camping!"

Spoiled!? Nope, camping in style and comfort is what I call it. That's what you will experience in this incredibly beautiful 2013 Winnebago Sightseer 30A.

If you didn't know the year of the coach, you'd swear it was brand new!

Having owned a 2005 Airstream Sprinter conversion and putting over 90K miles on it with 0 problems, I wanted to have a little more room, and since Airstream doesn't offer slide outs,I bought a new 2013 Winnebago View. Had it less than a year and took a real bath on trade in but could not live with the many poor quality and design issues + Winnebago's awful warranty service.
Just a few of the problems that cropped up in the 1st 3 months--
counter tops delaminated.
cheap drawer and storage compartment floors bowed and separating from frame.
Cheap trim moldings coming off.
Tank fill switch so cheap that the handle broke on first use.
Very poor under bed storage access--no bar to hold bed base up + not finished off inside.
No transfer switch switch from generator to shore power--you have to go to outside to small door in back and reach into unlighted compartment to try to plug shore power plug into gen. receptacle (try it at night in rain)
The cheapest TV I have seen in any RV + ugly and cheap mount.
Kitchen water faucet cheap and leaky from the start.
Mylar spring loaded shower door that has no positive catch to hold it open--slightly touching it results in it snapping back into holder.
numerous other quality and design issues that are outrageous on a $130,000 vehicle.
Sprinter part was excellent.
Winnebago insisted I take it to dealer that was over 70 miles from me in the middle of nowhere requiring me to have someone follow me there to bring me back and then take me back out there to pick it up--this when there are several qualified RV repair facilities within a 10 mile radius of me.
As a comparison, Airstream authorized me to take the Interstate anywhere of my choice and send them the bill on the few minor issues when I first got the vehicle + there were no more problems the 5 years and 90K+ miles I put on it--not even a loose screw!
This Winnebago was my 6th RV--all 5 of the others put together didn't have as many problems as this View had.

I had some "debugging" problems initially which annoyed me greatly but I have been assured by other RV owners that my problems were not unusual.
Since that time I have really been happy. It drives wonderfully. The exterior is a little bigger than I would prefer but I wouldn't want the interior any smaller. So, I guess it is about as perfect as one can expect.

It drives like a dream and gets an honest 20mpg when cruising at 65-70mph...it drops to 17.5 when cruising at 75+. Its comfortable on the road and very easy to drive, park etc.

The size is perfect; it can be used like an auto but has space for two to live in comfortably with all of the amenities of home.

A little more closet space would be nice--but a luggage rack fits into the trailer hitch and provides extra storage.

We have had a larger diesel pusher - a meridian - we found this as livable for space with the three slides. Well insulated. Have done some serious cold camping at zero (Iowa in Jan). This RV is most definitely liveable. We did 6 months out of the year while escaping from the snow and cold. Loved having 4 door refrigerator with ice maker, the king size bed is the big plus. Driving is easy, even while towing. I can honestly say there is nothing that I didn't like about my RV. We would go to RV shows to be nosy as to what else there is out there. We'd go through the bigger and more expensive ones, I would always walk out with the comment that I liked my motorhome much better.

The first time we saw this RV we were impressed with the décor and floor plan. We especially liked the bedroom being away from the living area and the size of the bathroom. There were cabinets throughout the RV that were spacious and attractive. The only thing we did not like was the couch; it made into a jack-knife bed which accommodated only children/short adult otherwise the couch was a beautiful leather couch that was comfortable. The dinette also converts into a bed. This RV sleeps 4-5 people. The other thing that was attractive to us was the exterior color of the RV which was a multicolor of earth tones.

This coach has been a pleasant surprise for me. I have only had minor coach issues that were taken care of the first year by the mfr. I've not needed any coach repairs for over 2 years now. The Ford chassis has been equally trouble free. There have been a couple of chassis enhancements I chose to add for handling and ride.
With the 3 slide-outs,the livability is really enjoyable for the 2 of us. We have all the necessities and conveniences needed for short or long stays.
We tow a small SUV and I do not feel any strain on the Ford chassis. The 31 foot length is appreciated at fuel stops and tight campgrounds.
This coach has been a very low cost unit to own.

Over all we have been very pleased with the Via. My wife is handicapped and we are purchasing a little larger unit that I can put a lift in the door. And the new unit will be big enough for her to use a walker. I used the Via to tow a small sail boat and got 13 to 15 mpg. I like the fact that the exhaust is so clean, you can stand next to the exhaust pipe and hardly smell any fumes. It is ideal for two adults, but the over head pull down bed and couch would accommodate two small adults or kids. Because of its size it is very easy to maneuver is small spaces, not much bigger than a van. I have kept the oil changed and all appliances are in good working order.

We bought this Via with 6,300 miles in 8/2013. We've been out west 3 times and been to northeast once. Our Via is a remarkable piece of engineering. Most of the problems we first experienced were user problems. The Via doesn't have a lot of extra storage so you need to travel light. We have traveled 40k and ready to go again. It's like having our motel room on wheels with a kitchen included. With our generator dry camping is like having the comforts of home. Towing our jeep is no problem for the Via!

We have not had anything break or not work in the last two years we have owned it. The only thing I wish Mercedes would address is the B-5 diesel fuel. I bought this Model 24G View Profile new. My second Class C. This RV has been a joy to own, easy to drive and park. Consistently getting 17 mpg. Towing a Jeep Wrangler still getting 15 plus mpg. Unlike a lot of other C Class vehicles, the Mercedes 3.0 liter diesel has a lot of torque and can climb hills towing without dropping down a gear, even on I75 through Tennessee.

Every day when traveling, people would comment about how good the RV looked. Owners of campgrounds would ask to see the interior. One of the great features is the slide out queen bed with room to walk around it. Had the experience of an RV where someone has to crawl over someone to use the restroom. With a TV up front and one in the slide out, can watch separate shows at the same time. The View is said to be one of the most popular RVs ever. Want to know more about View RVs? There is a View forum.

Would I buy another 3.0 liter Mercedes View? Without hesitation.

This is the ideal RV. We had two big class A machines, one gas, one diesel, and we got really discouraged having to tow cars, pay big money for fuel and face difficult driving decisions. This unit is truly livable, but compact enough to be handled with no problem by any driver. It fits into a regular parking spot, gets 20 mpg, is completely self contained and is a pleasure to drive. Very easy to drive in tight situations...the heaviest of traffic...especially after adding the air bag and compressor system. It now has a minimum of "rocking" from side wind and uneven surfaces. Removing the two passenger seats and replacing with cabinetry gives us plenty of storage. We will stay with the Sprinter platform in future purchases. Boondocking much more feasible with upgrading the battery and solar charging system.

Over all our experience was a very good one.Not exactly a house, but as close as you can get.We added sliding drawers in the cupboards, and that gave us much better usability.A few tweaks here and there made it to our particular wants. We found the table could have been wider.Loved the washer and dryer. We surprisingly used our fireplace a lot.We could sit 7 people in the living room area without adding any extra chairs.Loved having 2 bathrooms. The front control panel for km/mi was a bit confusing .Two way jacks would have been nice.

Freightliner is excellent, but itasca/Winnebago is absolutely terrible. Very nice looking interior, but that’s deceptive. Always maintenance issues. Their engineers & production staff get a Big Zero. These buses (and others we have heard) have major design issues. It is often extremely difficult to get access to the part that requires repairs and documentation is limited.
Maintenance costs a fortune because the repair people have to spend an unnecessary amount of time getting access to the problem area.

This RV is a drastic downsize for us having traded from a 36+ Itasca to a 26' Vista. Both motor homes are Class "A" and we have opted not to tow a vehicle with the new smaller Motor Home. The result is just as we had hoped, we are entirely satisfied with every category listed above and every aspect of the Vista. A month after purchasing the Via my wife and I left Florida heading to Utah and Wyoming. We were gone 6 weeks and had an awesome time. This vehicle ran up the mountains leaving all the trucks and some cars behind. It had great pickup, great gas mileage and a smooth ride the entire time. The size was perfect for the two of us. We could zip into any gas station, campground, National Park or Walmart parking lot with ease. This was our third RV and so refreshing to know it was dependable and reliable. The engine is made to last for 200,000 miles or more. Can't say enough good stuff about it. We had no problem living in the smaller space than our 35' vehicle. Test drive one for yourself if you're looking for comfort and great gas mileage.

Ultimate use of interior space and what a ride! Love it, Love it, Love it!
Combining Winnebago and Mercedes (Sprinter frame) was an unparalleled act of ingenious. Coming up with the bed sliding out the back and couch out the drivers side (View Profile 24G and Navion IQ) in a 24' rig, I believe, was Winnebago's best design EVER! Exceptional gas (well diesel) mileage (averaged 18 to 21 but have actually gotten up to 24mph); living space not found in most 32' rigs; exceptional maneuverability in parking lots/traffic; and sporty driving. The looks of the 2011 Profile (especially with the Canyon Red, full body paint) has people coming up asking questions at EVERY roadside rest, gas stations and grocery store parking lots.
Limited storage inside and outside but, we've camped for a couple weeks in duration (carrying a couple fold up chairs, a 10'x10' fold-up picnic awning, and all necessary clothes and supplies) without problem.
We loved the 2011 so much that our 2015 purchase is the 2015 edition of the 24G (the 2015 has more storage but, because they lifted the rig some (to get the additional storage) we've lost some of the exceptional freeway handling we have in the 2011.
If you're not looking to "live" in your rig, you really need to look at and drive one of the 24G's. You'll fall in love with it!

We bought our coach sight unseen over the internet from a dealer on the other side of our state. It served us well with only some minor issues. UNTIL the main slide jammed in the OUT position 3000 mikes from home. We found a repair place who got us on the road. He showed us where the main slide was installed improperly. WHAT A MESS. We got the factory people involved and showed them what we were shown. Their response was OH BOY!
They gave it to a larger dealer/repair shop for repairs that took 2 months. The coach was already out of warranty.

Winnebago ate a repair of about $ 14000.00 They stood behind their product and made good on problems caused at the factory. I have a feeling someone no longer works for them.

We are still using it, more since gas is going down. We do feel it is time to get something new but have not decided what if anything yet.

Having owned for four years, I have no complaints. The only issues were those caused by me as a Newbee to RVs. Motor has plenty of power to drive and tow a four door F150. Most trips, I towed the Ford and averaged 8.5 to 10 mpg while cruising at 68 mph. Last 2300 mile trip I averaged 9.6 mpg. My wife loves the full sized bath and shower. The four door refrigerator with icemaker keeps everything cold and fresh. Actually, all of the appliances are on par with my home or better! With the hydraulic leveling system I can be set up in about 10 minutes and be ready to hit the road in about the same time. There is plenty of room for extended stays without feeling cramped. The full wall slide along with the other two slides really makes the unit roomy. There is enough on board water and waste water storage for a week of dry camping. The Diesel generator when needed sips fuel and is muffled quite well. I don't think you would be disappointed with this model.

Description & Comments: 2010 WINNEBAGO RhodaVista 26P:
This 2010 Winnebago Vista 26P is one of the nicest pre-owned motorhomes you'll ever find.
The Vista's SmartSpace design elements make the most of the available space for an extremely
versatile motor home with plenty of storage. The 26P floorplan features two slide outs, a couch
that becomes a bed on the slide out that gives the living room a spacious feel and a headboard slide
in the private master bedroom.
The Vista is built on the Ford E450 chassis with Ford's Triton V10 motor matched with the 5 speed
automatic transmission to deliver ample power whether you're cruising the highways or climbing up
the mountain.
The Vista is a shorter more nimble class A motorhome, yet gives you the panoramic elevated
view of a class A but the in town maneuverability of a small class C.
The kitchen is has a very open feel and features a cathedral arched ceiling, The two leather
captain's chairs also swivel in to face the living room, giving seating for 6 at meal time. The corner
kitchen includes lots of counter space for meal preparation, plus flip up counters on both right
and left sides of the counter.

to create a finished designed look. The couch quickly converts to a double bed giving you
sleeping for four. Other living room features include, the arched cathedral ceiling, ducted roof
A\C, and an AM\FM\CD\DVD Player. The split bathroom includes a large rectangular shower, with
skylight above, and a separate toilet, sink, vanity, medicine cabinet, laundry chute and lots of

Drives and rides better than any coach we have tried. Very comfortable and liveable. With rear view and side cameras it is so easy to see traffic and view the tow vehicle. The curved dinette with oblong table make it nice for playing games and entertaining guests for meals. Lots of storage and would make an excellent coach for full timers. King size sleep night number bed is so comfortable. Pass thru bathroom makes easy access to/from bedroom to kitchen & living area. The overall quality of workmanship and performance comes through in all facets of the Winnebago 26P. It handles beautifully, drives like a luxury truck, and the shorter wheel base gives it unparalleled maneuverability. The F450 V10 provides all the horsepower needed for highway or mountain terrain.
There is plenty of living space with the living room and bedroom slides extended. The automatic leveling jacks and convenient centralized service center make set up, hook up and tear down quick and easy.

i have loved this RV for it's compact ease of use. I have traveled in it extensively by myself and with another person. I have found it to be quite comfortable. This has a bump out couch with overhead storage across from the dinette. I bought baskets for the overhead storage that turned out to be very efficient use. the refrigerator and freezer have plenty of room i came back from the store with bags of groceries and was always able to fit things in.The cook top has 3 burners and an overhead vent below the upper convection oven microwave combination. the bathroom is adequate the best part being a stand alone shower. There is an overhead power vent in the bathroom along with another roof vent in the front area for expelling heat or looking at the stars. I installed a electrical surge protector along with a pressure regulator for the water. I also installed a braking system system for pulling a trailer. I pulled a car a Chevy Equinox with great success. There are two stereo systems one in the cab and the other above the dinette that does DVD as well. All the storage works well and is enough space for clothing and extras. The motor home has a Mercedes Benz diesel on a sprinter chassis. This has got to be one of the best combinations on the road Mercedes and Winnebago.

We've owned this RV for 7 years now and have absolutely loved it. We've been all over the country in it towing a dolly loaded with an Acura TL. We lived in the Journey for 2 months straight during an extended stay in Maine and had no problems with space or comfort. It has been a great base camp. Our experiences with Freightliner have been very positive--they have treated us well.

My RV was used as a Fulltime has 70.000 miles was dependable comfortable and had no significant issues other than a brake pump (Wabco) that was not easily diagnosed. Electric systems were spot on with no failures and Maintenance was easily performed. No overheating issues and always towed a CRV. Wintered in it north and south without significant issues and Heat pump AC was more than adequate in the warmest humid weather. Gas v Diesel are non issues relative to drivability. G/D cost for fuel issue and upkeep filters etc. Loved it

Experience we have had. We have a lot in Desert Aire RV Resort in Indio CA and
Stayed there for 5 months each winter. It performed wonderfully and minor repairs
were handled by the dealers in any area quickly and efficiently. If we were not having health concerns we would still be traveling there.

We’ve loved this RV from the first day we bought it and drove it home. The high ceilings, interior back lighting and beautiful curved cabinetry make this RV very special. It has ample storage and has really been a wonderful home while we traveled. It drives easily whether pulling a car or not and handled the mountain driving in Colorado easily. One of our first trips was to Winnebago in Forest City, Iowa for a complete check-up - where everything not up to par was made so. Winnebago Service was very organized and everyone we met there extremely helpful.

Since we planned on spending a great deal of time in our coach for us it was all about the master bedroom. There were several times when we thought we had the right floorplan picked out and just by happenstance a sales person showed us a 37B. We had never seen a bedroom so impressive. So the bedroom is definitely one push us over the edge. Our particular had me Workhorse 8100 with the available Banks total RV Stinger package. That is a very very quiet and powerful platform to begin with and with that performance upgrade it puts out almost exactly the same amount of work as the 6.7 Cummins turbo diesel. We feel like we won all the way around thank you Winnebago -C.M

This RV is a high end Class A coach with many factory upgrades. The 22,000 pound Workhorse chassis with the 8.1 liter V8 engine coupled with the Allison 6-speed automatic transmission provides exceptional power for towing a vehicle and climbing hills. Side looking cameras makes it easy to see any vehicles in your blindspots which activate when the turn signal is engaged. The chassis offers a stable ride with responsive steering.

The energy/power management system allows you to run the coach on most 30 amp services even though the coach has a 50 amp connection. A residential style chassis mounted heat pump system provides air-conditioning and heat using the parks electrical system saving you propane. Without roof mounted air conditioning units the ceiling height throughout is 7'-2". Holding tanks are in the "heated basement" so they will not freeze.

Winnebago industries boasts an extensive parts inventory to keep you going. I experienced such a need while traveling and I had the part within two days, so this issue did not interfere with our trip. The quality in construction is obvious throughout and all systems not manufactured by Winnebago are all name brand, industry standards.

We have no regrets in purchasing this coach.

With it's solid driving experience and reliability give us a lot of stress free travel time.
And the way Winnebago numbers each part it makes it extremely easy to replace anything that may break on the way alone for way less stressful experience.
I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family as a matter fact as soon as I get used to having our new twins we will be re-purchasing a similar if not the same exact make and model

I did a lot of research to find this ideal layout which included the u-shaped dinet, good kitch work space. The full side slide allows comfortable space the full length of the RV and extra large space in the bedroom area. We love the layout still but have had many problems. Most annoying is the leak in the grey water tank if it fills more than 3/4 full. We also spent lots of $$ having the full side slide fixed ($2,000 but now fine) and to replace the cooling unit on the full size frig ($4,000). The frig also needs constant defrosting of the cooling 'fins' which mean poors seals but googling shows this to be a common prpblem. The furnace had a small repair but compartment door corroded so 3 hrs to get it off. We have also had numerous issues with the truck battery and replaced twice since we got it used in 2014. When everything works its great. I'm not sure we have more issues than usual but I wish RVs were made better. PS. I had to rate the warranty to submit the review but it was probably past warranty when we bought it and I have not had any experience of that.

We took them all over the country but now they are busy doing teenage stuff so it is time to downsize. We purchased this RV new and it has been great! It has a lot of storage! We have taken several 2400 mile trips and spent 7 months in it ONCE while we looked for a new home. It makes a great camper for weekends and extended vacations. It is not something you would want for full timing, but it did work and I would have no problem doing it again.

To this date, we have had only 1 problem. The power converter was overheating and shutting off. Once I found out there was no fuse for the fan that was suppose to be running to keep the converter cool, all was well.

The kitchen has a three-burner stove, convection oven/microwave, counter space, and good size sink for washing dishes. There are pantry-type overhead cabinets over the dinette. My first RV experience has not been without problems. Overall I like the 24H but mine has serious design flaws. I bought it used so I really didn't have a chance to pick and-on's. Here is my wish list: Leveling jacks, Tire pressure monitors, stainless tire valve extenders, gauges on the dash board to let you know oil pressure & oil temp, water temp, Amp meter, chassis and house battery charge status. A serious sway bar system for front and back. would also be helpful. All of these items would have certainly made my RV'ing experience much more enjoyable in the View. One more gripe...there is a strange noise emminating from the front of the vehicle. Sounds like a stuck caliper or belt slipping or the driveshaft rubbing against something. As I slow the vehicle through about 30 mph the "whuurring sound begins and slows as the vehicle slows. So far after spending about $1500,3 RV dealers and 1 Mercedes dealership have not been able to find or resolve the problem. Uugh!

Winnebago quality has been great, that's why I keep buying them. Great features of this model are class A luxuries, power windows and door locks on all 3 entrance doors, auto HWH levelers, solar panel system, generator and all the other features for camping without need for hookups. This is a great little 23' unit. Mercedes 5cyl
diesel is a terrific engine, one of the best small diesel's in the world today. It is really quiet and just runs forever. Just change the oil and VERY important....change the fuel filter every oil change(every 10,000 miles).
This is my second Sprinter based camper. My first one was the Leisure van on the sprinter.
Loved that one so much, so upgraded to this View. This has been my favorite RV so far, and I have had many.
This model 23B was the only floor plan that did NOT have a slide-out. But it still has plenty of room for 1 or 2 people, and you don't have to worry about a slide.
The rear bunks are very comfortable and the sofa sleeper can sleep 2 more, for a total of 4
I have several times reached 20mpg, but the overall average is 18.
Uses #2 diesel fuel.....available everywhere.
High marks for this one. 5 stars.

Too many things break easily. Chassis service from Freightliner is terrible. They needed a week to diognose non working wipers and were not willing to keep my tow dolly on premises. Double door fridge works when it wants. Jacks wont retract and have to be beaten in with a hammer. Slides tear up floor in living room.door latch jammed locked and fell apart. Door awning blew off on freeway while stowed. Wall mounted living room lights fell off wall driving. Water heater dont work at all.most blinds jammed or have fallen down. Im replacing all with venetian blinds that work. Back up camera is too brite and can barely see. Its adjusted to darkest setting. One side passing camera dont work at all. Bought brand new, single 60 yr old owner,8,000 miles.

Also own 2000 Allegro. Everything works as intended without a single problem.

At first I was hesitant about not having an oven but still do lots of baking in the convection and it has been easy to use.

This model has the best layout for a campsite.
Great to have driver door. Second safety exit.
Love that storage compartments extend with slideouts. No head bumping.
Furnace/AC has in floor ducts. No rooftop units to effect driving.
Excellent locations for TV's.
Like private toilet room.
Like windows around bed when slide out extended.
Efficient kitchen layout.

This is a really nice until with a great floor plan. We like to have couples over, and this gives us plenty of room. I also like the doors that give us privacy between both the bath area and the MBR. Seems well built with lots of outside storage. That helps with all the extras we bring along

Drives well and very easily. This is my first RV and I have had no problem with driving it. Overall quality is excellent and I have never had a major problem with it and very few minor problems. Strong engine V1o ford. No mechanical problems with it at all. I would recommend a Winnebago on my experiences with this one. I always pull a car and it pulls it with no strain at all, can't really tell its pulling a car. The wheelbase Is the right size for getting around in fairly tight places in towns and camp sites and my driveway. Plenty of room inside and the floor plan is excellent.

We bought this motor home New and it has served us well. I have no complaints at all. It is a nice size for two or four people. We can take it a lot of places because it is a medium size. It has lots of inside and outside storage. I would like to replace it with something very much the same. We took it for a three week trip through the Southwest and it performed beautifully.

we travelled from BC through to Arizona each year seeing all of the sights such as Redwoods, Rushmore, Grand Canyon. 21 days to drive down this year.
It is nice and easy to set up at each sight as well as towing our pickup makes it easy to drive around while we are parked. Our unit is actually an Itasca Sunova 29R but no option on the list.

This was a great purchase for my husband and I. It rides pretty smooth, comfortable ride and plenty of storage. We traveled to state parks and hauled our 27FT fishing boat. It work out pretty good getting in and out of boat launches and campsites. My only dislike or I thought was a pain, was the canopy. If we didn't have the RV perfectly level it was difficult to interlock the side bars on the canopy when we folded it back up. That was miner. Perfect size for two people and did not feel cramped. If we didn't purchase a cabin. We would be keeping the RV. Definitely recommend, good purchase.

24 feet is a very easy RV length to learn to drive especially for beginners. It's perfect for two people. My wife and I have one as a tour vehicle for our band. It's just the two of us and we get all of our instruments, gear and Merch in the bunk above the drivers seat. It's comfortable to drive even long distances, ours had cruise control which was a necessity. We visited 40 states coast to coast in all weather. Drove through anunexpected blizzard in Yellowstone without chains with no problem. Up and down mountains, elevations caused no problems. We love our View.

This is a great rv for two people. It is easy to drive, easy to park and gets great gas mileage. We haven't had problems with it except for the generator not starting once with a clogged regulator breather tube. Cleared the tube and it started right up. This is a common problem with the Onan LP generator. We made many modifications to the RV: removed carpet, new cushion covers, seat covers, solar, 3-stage converter, surge protector, backsplash, thermostatic control, etc. We love the RV, but desire a different configuration for long-term usage.

We are not selling this RV because of a dislike or a problem with the unit. We love the floor plan that is roomy and spacious and can accommodate a lot of people hanging out and enjoying the RV experience. There really is not anything that we disliked about the unit. We believe that Winnebago makes the best RVs on the road. From the switch that makes the couch into a bed to the electrical system and other aspects, you feel comfortable with the system. We have had nothing but good experiences with this unit. We have driven it in windy, cold, and hot weather and it has been to sea level and into the mountains with no mechanical issues. We are not selling it because of a dislike and I would and do recommend this unit to anyone who is interested in a great used RV at a very reasonable price. Health is the reason for this need to sell. We welcome questions about this unit.

I bought this RV from the original owner. He had quit using it and was motivated to sell. I made him an offer and he accepted. He kept meticulous maintenance and repair records in a log book, showing exceptional care of the engine, transmission, and coach.

It has 65,500 one owner miles plus 1,000 miles by me. It drove like new with plenty of power. Driving 70 to 75 I got 6.6 to 6.8 MPG. After dark, on unfamiliar roads, I slowed to about 55 for 25 miles and the average mileage increased to 8.2. I believe it would continue to climb if driving continued at that speed.

You have to see this RV in person to really appreciate it's quality and comfort. If you come and look at it you WILL want it.

The many extra's that were installed by the original owner, make this RV VERY DESIRABLE.

My home is currently for sale. If I should get it sold, I will keep the RV to live and travel in for a while.

For more information please call Dan at 573-301-7647 any time. Thanks for your interest. I have many more pictures and can answer any question you have about this RV.

We have had a wonderful experience with this RV. Built much better than our two previous RV's (Bounder and Pace Arrow) The livability is very comfortable. We like the TV in the console on the floor instead of up between the driver and passenger seat, that's very uncomfortable to view. All in all Winnebago builds a great coach, and I'd reccomend one if your looking at RV's.

We have owned two different Fleetwood RVs - one Bounder and one Pace Arrow. The Winnebago Adventurer is tighter, doesn't rattle, more features, better quality, and overall just a better RV than either one of the Fleetwood products. I would recommend the Winnebago RV over a Fleetwood RV hands down. We have had very few mechanical problems, and the ones we had were minor. We are very happy with our Winnebago motor home. My first diesel motorhome. Previous gas model was a 1988 Winnebago 30ft. I bought the Winnebago diesel based on my experience with the 1988. So far I have been very pleased with it. I tow a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and the rig doesn't even know it's there. It's also much more comfortable to drive than the '88. Course being much heavier, longer and newer makes a lot of difference. Parts are still available which is a bif plus. The only big item I don't like is the headlights. They put out very little light even with halogen bulbs. The light pattern is terrible. I may eventually put on some auxiliary driving lights, or, just stop earlier in the evening so I don't have to drive at night. Over all I would would rate the rig a 7 out of 10.

We wanted a motorhome with plenty of floor space and all the comforts of home for us to travel the U.S. after retirement and this motorhome does just that. The three slideouts allow for ample floor space in the galley/livingroom area and the bedroom slideout allows for walking around the bed and changing clothes. This unit has a washer/dryer and ice maker, just like home (not the same kind). There is plenty of room for entertaining guest and lots of storage for all our stuff. The awnings on the slides keep outside debris from coming into the motorhome and the shade awning is electronic which makes it super easy to put out and bring back in. Leveling this motorhome is also easy with the 4-point hydraulic system. I usually hate driving anything bigger than a pickup truck but I find myself looking forward to driving. Setting up camp has never been easier.

While the bed is only a double, we have found "techniques" where we both sleep soundly at night. It is small enough to park in a parking lot (Walmart, Lowes, ect) yet big enough to pull a car trailer. We more times than not, pull a car trailer with one of our Corvettes on it on 3000 mile jaunts. Those familiar with the Rialta know how maneuverable this 22' motorhome is. Also that 2005 was the last year it was manufactured. Gasoline powered and gets 17-18 MPG on the highway. It is ideal for a couple. Has a VW engine which is V6 and has 24 valves. It is small enough that it is not necessary to tow another vehicle and you can unhook at the campsite and go to the grocery store or out to eat easily. Generator, refrigerator, three burner stove, bathroom and shower.

No slide outs or worrying about leveling. Ideal for trips from 2-4 weeks although I have read that at least one person has used one for an apt. in the heavy rent area of San Francisco. They just arranged to plug in to a friends house. It will also go on roads where only a jeep could traverse. I know that from a trip we too last year in Wyoming.

This motor home is tops for livability and quality. The opposing slides in the living room and the bedroom slide makes it like a small apartment -- LOTS of "Living" room. The convection microwave bakes better than my large convection micro at home. Our MoHo has a 7.5 Onan genset as well as a small solar panel. It would be very easy to upgrade to a larger solar system; then one could boondock anywhere. The heat pump ac is very economical and provides heat and ac through the floor vents - just like a house. The separate toilet room is a bonus. The shower is a little on the small side. Overall we are VERY impressed with the unit and if we purchased again, Winnebago would be at the top of our list.

For me and my friends who have seen this RV it\'s hard to understand how a 12 year old RV can look so fresh. It has all the comforts of home. Lots of room for 2 to 4 people. This is Winnebago's top of the line and you can tell. Everything is solid and well built. Floor plan shows years of design experience. Having the heat pump/Furnace/AC in the basement is really nice - no heavy stuff on the roof. The roof is fiberglass so needs little maintenance. Lots of storage in the cabin as well as below. After 15 years everything works- every cabinet, every appliance, every sink, every system. We go the RV show every year or so and we never find another rig that we like as much as the Brave. If you can find one, buy one. You won't regret it.

Our '03 31Y has been a great MH for a couple with an occasional guest. We usually travel for a couple of months at a time and have plenty of room for everything.
Things we like include the separate (Lg) shower and the ability to isolate it from the living area with the BR door open. Storage is good both inside & basement of MH. Towing a Honda CR-V is no problem - hardly know it behind us. We did experience the Workhorse / Bosch brake issues but that was taken care of with the new design brake calipers.
There is a lot to like w/ Winnie Adventurers and there are a lot to choose from out there.
Find one that has been taken care of and you won't be disappointed.

We like the overall size of this unit, 31ft, for ease of getting in and out of gas stations and small campgrounds. Our unit needs levelers, insulated windows, and a bedroom slide. This is a great starter unit that we enjoyed for the last two years spending the winter months in the south.

I am still amazed every time I go somewhere in this motorhome, everything that is on it works well and is comfortable to use. For the price, it is unbeatable. You can buy better motorhomes but not for this price. It has been well taken care of and if I could, I would keep it. My wife is unable to travel anymore and I want someone to have a good one.

The Vista is very easy to drive, and it parks in a regular space. The construction of the cabinets is very good; they are sturdy, yet attractive. The layout is quite convenient and spacious for its size. There is a lot of storage space inside and outside for all your clothing and gear. The inside is bright and cheery with the window placement, and the 2 vent fans keep the interior well ventilated. The VW engine works like a charm, and we think this is a very good motorhome for the money.

We are the first owners of this rig and it was our first Class A Diesel. It is a dream to drive and we haul our 2014 Ford Edge without any problems whatsoever. We are snowbirds and every year around Halloween we take off for Yuma, AZ stopping at Las Vegas, Lake Havasu and Parker, AZ along the way. We have done this for 13 years and basically we have seen it all. We would not hesitate to climb in again and take off but we are going to pursue timeshares and they don't accept RV parking. Summers are spent in the Northwest. I'm 6'3" and the full 60" x 80" bed is a must for me. the flat floor living room extension gives us plenty of space and the computer desk/table gives me plenty of work space.

We have had a great time in our RV's. This would be an excellent coach for people wanting to get started RVing or moving up to a larger diesel pusher. The engine has been well cared for and being a diesel it is just getting "broken in". A new queen mattress and a delux sofa bed sleeps four adults comfortably. The dinnette also converts to a bed and is for smaller people. Convection oven microwave and gas burners with 2 pantries and storage, cooking is easy. The fridge and freezer are small and the ice maker
does well.

For a quality experience, this classic is top notch. I love the layout, the spacious living space, and the versatility. The kitchen is great for cooking and preparing meals in, and it is convenient. This camper is a workhorse, and it won't let you down.

We have made many memories in our RV. Took our grand daughter out East and our other grandchildren out West. We have had family gathering where we once had a bad storm and there was 13 of us in the motorhome. I really liked the idea of traveling down the road and able to make lunch for the kids and the back bedroom has a hookup that runs on battery so they watched their dvd as we traveled.
We have met so many great people and seen so many marvelous sites.

Bought used 1 year ago. Been north to Canada and south to Florida twice. Trouble free. Drives great! Biggest complaint: not near enough ventilation in bedroom. needs more windows that open in bedroom! Very pleased-would buy another Winnebago in a heartbeat! It now has about 50k miles on it.

We purchased this RV new in 2002. I liked the floorplan with the galley/couch slide on the street side, and the dinette on the patio side. We would camp at the beach, parking parallel, facing south, so the ocean was always on the patio side. I'd sit for hours wa
