I bought this two 1/2 years ago for my winter solo boondocking around Arizona and Nevada. Selling due to health reasons. After much shopping I settled on this one because the investment, licensing and insurance costs are all low for a classic unit. The second owner I bought it from had done all the upgrades and maintenance. Fuel costs for a gas unit had dropped in half. It was and is in great shape with near new tires and brakes, new Bilstein shocks, new steering gear, front air bags and a recent transmission rebuild with new transmission cooler.
Two awnings are in good shape. It has custom storage compartments on the back and top. AC blows cold and it is set up for Mr. Heater propane connection inside so the furnace fan does not need to run while boondocking and use house batteries.
Three way fridge, built in propane with a high pressure tap for things that run straight off cylinders, two outside showers with sinks that attach outside, one under the main awning for outside cooking/food prep. See one with spice rack sitting in the shower.
There is a bed in the back, a drop down bed over the captain's chairs and the dinette drops down for a bed.
Stereo is nice with big woofer and set up for ipad. CB radio. Custom 70 gallon aux fuel tank in addition to the factory 40 (for extended range and buying gas where the price is good.) Also nice for fueling toys. Powered by GM 454 that starts and runs fine. The first owner had installed new or rebuilt heads and the compression checked out even and within spec when I bought it.
Unit is stored at Camp Verde near Cottonwood where is was based since new and is not subject to emissions testing. Not working are the original engine ac and emission controls. I hauled a 3500 lb trailer from Camp Verde to Roosevelt and back over hwy 260. Original manuals included.
