This 2017 Volvo VNL 780 semi-truck was customized as an RV tow rig and car hauler by RVH Lifestyles of Dennis, Kansas, under prior ownership. Modifications include a utility bed, vehicle loading ramps, bed-mounted vehicle chocks with integrated lashing winches, a drom box, and a Jackalopee brake/lighting circuit adapter. Power is provided by a 12.8-liter turbodiesel inline-six linked to a 12-speed automatic transmission, and the truck is finished in Glacier White over gray cloth upholstery. Additional equipment includes an ET fifth-wheel hitch, side skirts, secondary side-view mirrors, a roof-mounted wind deflector, forward and reverse-view cameras, and a Volvo CD stereo with BT. The sleeper compartment is outfitted with a workstation, overhead bunk, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a flat-screen TV.
Alcoa 22.5? alloy wheels are mounted with a mixed set of 11-series tires, and the rear tires have been retreaded. Stopping power is from air-actuated brakes, and the truck is equipped with a Jacobs brake and an air-adjustable rear suspension.
The cab houses air ride, power-adjustable captain’s chairs upholstered in two-tone gray cloth complemented by a color-coordinated dash and door panels.
