This is our second Prime Time 5th Wheel, however this unit is poorly built we have over 16 items that our dealer has to repair. The cupboards and drawers all need adjusting, the grey water tank value when closed leaks, the MY RV panel does not work properly will not show the levelling Icon apparently not connected right, the double door fridge was marked so have order new half door, counter top all scratched so have order new top.
This unit should was never inspected by the PDI centre if it was it should never have left for the dealer, I believe we purchased a Friday built unit.

been rving for 27 years now. brought a 2018 crusader 340rst an (upscale model) the workmanship is lacking drawers that don't work , kitchen sink that leaked from 1 st day . electric problems . you would think they would check these things out before they leave factory , an at dealer before they deliver. i've had 4 other trailers never had all these problems . very disapointed with this unit

Interior moldings coming loose and hanging from ceiling
Mattress has sink hole and just had it replaced
Drawer in room don’t latch and had repaired
All plumbing had to be retighten due to leaks
Exterior lower skirting very flimsy and needs reinforcement
Screws extracting from siding/skirting
I own this unit and believe it’s over priced for the issues I’ve had and it’s been 3 days since I’ve purchaced it!

Not impressed with Prime Time quality control in the slightest. I have a HUGE list of things that needed to be fixed in the first 6 months. All of which amount to shoddy work at the manufacturer, by folks that clearly don't care. I'm not an overly picky person, and I very rarely write reviews (typically only positive ones). I had the dealer fix a couple things under warranty right away, but the vast majority I did on my own as I am pretty handy and enjoy doing the work myself. We have used this camper 7 times this year and every time I find something new needing fixed. The dinette is very uncomfortable and cheaply built, the living room couch is uncomfortable, all mattresses are cheap, the AC unit is not even close to what is needed to cool the unit down in the summer, the list goes on and on. Oh yah, the big screen tv is very poor quality for movies. Decent enough for sports. We will be trading this unit in before the next camping season, and it will NOT be for another PrimeTime product. We love the floor plan, outdoor kitchen and styling, but everything else comes up short. Learn from our mistake.

Purchased my Lacrosse new expecting few if any problems and felt assured that I would be under warranty in the advent something was wrong. Within two months there was an arm loose on the couch, a molding fell of the wall, one window shade broke, an electric socket in the bedroom had twisted in its mounting, and the sliding mirror door for the bedroom closet would come out of its track routinely. As the weather changed (in Texas) we found that one of the windows was not seated properly i.e., a pencil would fit through the gap. With the nights getting cooler still, we found that there was no heat in the bedroom however the fireplace worked well to heat the main living area. Now four months into ownership my wife and I took our first trip about 200 miles from home. By the time we arrived we had lost one of the side running lights...only wires sticking out of the hole. Drove home and found that the plumbing was hanging down an inch or more and I could fit my hand between the insulation and the underbelly. The Grey tank handle missing; the Black tank handle present but had so much tension on it it could not be moved. Now in crisis mode, we called the dealer to have the host of problems repaired. Surprise! Dealer told us we would need to schedule time for them to take pictures of these items and gain approval for the repairs from the manufacturer. This was estimated to take 6 to 12 weeks before they could begin repairs. After much discourse with Service than Sales, the dealer agreed to rehang the plumbing but did not replace the missing tank handle. The loose couch arm and molding which fell off I would be responsible to pay for the repairs; they were outside the 90 window for warranty covered adjustments. The window not sealed was beyond the four month coverage for items believed to have been damaged during delivery to the dealer. We had not been told of the 90 day and four month limitations so failed to address the issues aggressively. The window shade will be replaced under warranty however the pictures taken to documented the bedroom heat issue were insufficient to show a problem so no warranty coverage thus far. Dealer told me to call the manufacturer myself to see if a direct customer complaint would suffice to have them pay to have the underbelly dropped down so the dealer can determine if the duct fell off the vent (likely another occurred during delivery situation) or if the duct is missing altogether. With diminishing hopes I asked the dealer if they would allow me to return the "lemon trailer" and apply the full purchase price toward a different trailer. They would allow a trade in but only at 75% of what I paid. If you are seeking a bad investment and like facing challenges then you may find this trailer a good value; I due not.

Bought this unit 31 March 2018, had to take it back the following weekend to the dealer. When I got home the stabilizer jacks would not work properly when trying to disconnect. Found a bubble on the back wall. Awning would not open out and lights would not work. Power panel gave false readings on water levels and all. Craftsmanship is sloppy, looks like a kid cut some of the holes for things. The dealership had the unit for another 3 months waiting on Thor to ship a new back wall and replace and repair other problems. I would like to know why dealerships don't hold manufacturers to a high standard. This would solve a lot of problems. If a manufacturer puts out a poor quality unit, stop selling their product. They need quality standards, and they need to be enforced.

While we absolutely LOVE the floor plan of this Coach it has become our worst nightmare. Purchased in October 2017 it has spent more time at the dealer for repairs that haven't been done or done properly then we have been able to use it. The day we picked up the coach we did a walk around at night and noticed the exterior electirc housing was cracked, took 2 months to get that fixed. One of the stabalizing jacks was broken, dealership replaced it under warranty and installed it backward returned 3 times to have this corrected still waiting. The faux wood tape on the medicine cabinet in the bathroom was torn on the corner, still waiting for that from the manufacurer. The interior kitchen wall bows between the sink and the rear of the coach, the screws on the blinds literally fall out of the wall when towing, the bedroom window leaks causing mildew and black mold, the screws for hinges on the kitchen cabinet fell out during towing. Their are hundreds if not thousands of metal shavings in the carpet of the dining area where the table is supposes to screw down, hundreds of staples that are not attached to the floor to hold the carpet down, putty smears on the walls that are only visible at the right angle in the right light all through out the coach, the trim on the interior was literally falling off the walls. I could continue, but I think you get the picture..... Biggest piece of garbage we have ever purchased. Do not waste your time looking at these and do yourself a favor do not purchase one either!

Bought this camper brand new thinking or wouldn't have any issues but I was wrong. When the camper was delivered from the dealership the wall started to come apart. The very first time I took it out,the molding fell off, the wall finish coming off where the paneling met the other piece of paneling in the hallway, the screw fell out of the microwave the radio didn't work the TV won't communicate with DVD player basically the camper is a lemon you may want to avoid buying it

We have had the camper 10 days. A loose fitting under the bath room sink flooded the carpet. The hot water circuit board went out on day five. The front screen is under size for the door. The kitchen sink won't drain. The recliners are poorly made. There's more but I will let it go here. I would not recommend the camper to anyone as it is of the very worse quality I have ever seen . I use to own a Holiday Rambler 5th wheel, can't believe I bought this camper. Stay away from this brand!

I love my new travel trailer. It has everything I can ever imagine. It is not too long 29' (easy maneuverability), not too heavy 4763 lb ( can be towed by many trucks and SUVs), and not too high 10' 3" (can fit into 12' garage door). It sleeps six, which is the max number of people that can fit into the towing truck anyway. It has 2 axils which is Very important feature in an RV. In addition to the privately set queen bed, there are 2 full size bunk beds which is a must have in my RV buying criteria. The couch and the dining table can be converted into bed. The fridge is full RV size that is sitting high rather than underneath the sink. It has a microwave with hood over the 3 eyes stove. Also it has an outside kitchen and a shower.

I bought the camper mid march, my dad picked it up as my truck doesn't have a hitch yet, I was given no more then a 15 minute walk through, I was supposed to pick it up on a thursday, was not able to till the following wensday as they hadn't done their pdi, when my father showed up to pick it up, they pointed at the camper, the hitch parts and said, thats yours GTFO!

the thing pulls like a pig, tongue heavy as hell!

first trip out the trim around the door falls off, and it was dirty, the sawdust at the foot of the bed was no less then 4" deep and was the full width of the bed and the gap between the bed and the wall (queen bed)

the wall surrounding the fridge was warped badly, the light behind the stove was canted sideways, their was caulking missing EVERYWHERE on the exterior, the light in the slider fell off the ceiling, awning was wired backwards, screws sticking out of the wall

second trip out following weekend we noticed that there were staples everywhere, holes atleast, and the wall in the closet was falling apart

took it back to the dealer they cleaned at it, meaning they swept it all down the vents, and it was actually dirtier when we picked it up then when I dropped it off, they also blew out the speakers for the stereo

got it back outdoor kitchen cabinetry needs replacing all of the "wood" I'll use that term loose as hell, was swollen, and found a piece of trim in the front compartment had probably no less then 2000 staples in the first foot and a half on each side, nothing down the middle

took it out this weekend, and the damn hot water heater ran for 2 days and wouldn't shut off, burned itself up, I don't trust the dealer but I'm stuck with this POS the parts lady is also over service and I don't think she could get any lazier, they have had a coachmen rv there in service since the late 90's and still have it completely blown apart, unfortunately I have to continue to use them unless I can get another dealer to take over the warranty

DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE PILES OF SHIT!!!

We purchased new and started transferring from our old unit to tbe new and a drawer fell apart and a cabinet door came off hinges. Upon checking rest of the doors several of them needed to be tightened up. Pulled our unit on our lot and the shower started leaking the lights in one of the slides started flickering, staples sticking up throughout the carpet. And have to slam the door to get it too close. Spent way too much money for this type of quality. Not a happy camper!

We fell in love with the floor plan and decided to make the purchase, I wish we seen all the horrible reviews before we did.
We purchased 2017 3901 Sanibel, with the intention of living in it for several months. We had some minor issues and the RV dealership fixed those issues since it was under warranty. We have had them come to fix things 3x now. With the latest issue being the furnace. We are in Michigan and the cold weather is quickly approaching the furnace is not working properly and the RV repair guy couldn't figure out what is wrong. It's been more than a week since it has worked properly. We are very frustrated and are really not happy with our purchase. When you spend so much money on a camper you should be able to enjoy it for many many years. Prime Time needs to be held accountable for their poor quality workmanship. I do not recommend anyone to buy a Primetime product!!

I have been reading reviews on rvt.com. Did my research on fifth wheel, finally came down to buying Primetime Crusader 380MBH. But after reading all the reviews on rvt.com I am very disappointed and now stuck between Crusader 380 MBH or a Avalanche 361TG. Even though 380MBh has everything we like. Should the review be deciding factor?
What I like about rvt.com ,there is good positive reviews and bad negative reviews. Avalanche has pretty good reviews, but every single review on crusader 380 MBH is bad. Does this mean anything??
Could someone help me out. I don't want to end up with issues like others have. Moreover I was planning to buy 380MBh from a dealer 350KM away. My Rv will be permanently parked with no intention on road.
my research says unlike car industry most RVS build quality is not the best. They are assembled by humans giving lot go margin for error.
It is a mighty task to physically take your RV for warranty work, normal wait time is couple of month or even more during summer. Then the issue with who covers some of the warranty the dealer or manufacturer. The worst depreciation ever is on RV.
Confused state of mind to make decision

Where do I start. Shower drains into sun floor. Cable doesn't work ,closet rods fell off. Graphic suck. Damage to couch cushions and TNT absolute worse carpeting job ever. Dozens of staples half in to cut your feet. Not to mention a fridge with ice maker and water dispenser that is not connected to a water source.

Living full time...
Cons: Carpet had hundreds of staples sticking up had to vacuum like crazy . Closet hanger bars fell off. Lights over the couch fell out of the mounts. Window shade mounts fell out by the dinning room table. Ice maker cannot be used according to the manufacturer. Didn't find that out until AFTER the buy. The King mattress sucks buy a better one right away.
Pros: All major systems work great. A\C Heat plumbing appliances no problems so faaaar. Towing in my F250 is a dream. love the Andersen Hitch. Lots of room for just my wife and I. Fixed all the little things myself. Have not used any warranty yet. I did buy the full blown 6 year one so we will see. But over all so far really like it.

I bought this rv new about 8 months ago. It was delivered with the fireplace and one ac not working. A shock absorber fell off. Then the water pump quit. The second time I filled the potable water tank it broke loose and fell on the ground. It is roomy but hard to keep cool when the outside air is 90+. The warranty only kicked in when I was close enough to use a participating dealer. Buyer beware.

Nice trailer. Perfect layout for my wife and I.
We had issues right from the beginning.

1. The bedroom slide was not installed properly and was binding. I fixed that myself.

2. TV mount was not included.

3. Missing toilet seat bolt covers.

4. Worst of all, they FORGOT to put a washer in the cold water supply to the kitchen faucet. We chased parts on our first trip ever with the trailer.

5. The dining slide wasn't properly adjusted.

6. Window seal in dining room was defective.

I contacted the manufacturer and they compensated me for my time and effort and were great. Since then, I can't even get a response from them and our first Fall trip, the FURNACE DID NOT WORK. Now it's at the dealer for that to be repaired.

Nice unit but poor workmanship but from what I hear, that's normal for this industry.

So far the unit has treated us fair. No the units fault. The heater decided not to work 7 days into a trip. Found out it was an electric board that had gone bad. (Part on order) The living room area was quite comfortable. The Bedroom is tight. The mattress could have been made of better material. Not comfortable until we put 3" foam on it.
The lay out inside overall is great. Love the Refrig.
Outside storage is lacking. Only 2 storage lockers. Something to work on

Likes: 1) My rig tows exceptionally well. So far I've put 10,000 miles on it and tires still are holding up (exception below). 2) Lots of storage space, huge area under the bed. 3) Bedroom has night stands built into each side which is wonderful for my CPAP. Most units we looked at didn't have this. 4) Nice drop down rear door (toy hauler) that makes into a great patio off the ground. 5) The unit is very comfortable for 2 (4 if just using it for week/weekend outings). 6) Comes with a 50in TV and two other outlets and mounting areas for the other two rooms (bedroom and garage). 6) Nice duel bed/bench seat setup in garage that completely lifts out of the way. 7) Dual Air Conditioners. 8) Generator. 9) Plenty of wall outlets (exception below). 10) So far great electrical system. Overload works great, has combination of fuses and breaker switches. Only blew on fuse so far other times the breaker switch caught the overload (Reason for overload below). 11) Hookups for washer (no 220 for dryer) we bought a large Panda (works great and good enough for us) fits well (7kg) a normal size washer won’t fit in space. 12) High ceiling (exception below) and nice décor make it seem roomy. 13) Lots of room in front storage area under unit. 14) Also has heat/air-conditioning vent in front storage area.

Problems/Dislikes: As with all the other reviews a somewhat shoddy inspection system at Primetime. 1) As with other reviews a ton of sawdust in the vents and light fixtures that had to be cleaned out. 2) Small leak in under storage area coming from the shower drain. ( had fixed twice and still leaks at times, I think it's how you stand in the shower it has a soft floor which makes the drain move slightly). 3) Kitchen sink faucet (real cheap) gave out in first month on the road so I bought a nice Moen and replaced it. 4) Problem with the Cable wiring. I hook up to RV parks wiring and the picture is real fuzzy on all three TVs. I hook the cable up through the window direct into TV and it looks great. I need to take it in but how when you live in it a lot. 5) Stereo was wired wrong at factory. 3 sets of speakers (living room, garage, and outside) but only 2 worked. The factory said the wiring was ok. I had to rewire personally, upon doing so I found 3 sets of speaker wires coming out and only 2 hooked up to main speakers along with 3rd speaker wires (outside) hooked to the subwoofer (subwoofer should have been hooked up with living room speakers tied into the TV). 6) Side fiberglass wheel covers are flimsy. When going down the road you can see them flapping in the wind. They are held on by about 20 metal screws that, due to the flapping, start working their way out. One came out and lodged into the sidewall of the tire in an area that can’t be repaired ruining the tire. Lucky that the unit is equipped with a full size spare. I replace both sides with nut/bolt lock washers. Haven’t had a problem since. 7) Unit says it’s winterized for winter living but insulation is very weak. Unit gets cold very quickly at below 45 degrees, we had to buy 2-1500 watt heaters to reduce the use of propane (sometimes triggers overload switch when we forget and plug in a hair dryer or coffee pot). Also gets very hot in summer on 70 degree days unless parked in shade. 8) High ceiling (makes harder to heat and cool, also 13 ft 7in clearance while traveling) 9) Window shade tie downs break easily (easy to fix though). 10) Heavy rear door (but has to be to take weight of motorized toys in loading into garage).

Wishes: 1) Rear patio deck has full screen drop down to keep bugs out of garage. I wish it were a locking door type instead. You have to take up the rear door every night and to secure your rig if you have any valuables in the garage. 2) I wish they would have put in some side wall mounted tie downs in the garage. 3) Wish they could figure out how to put a wall outlet near the slide out. 4) Wish they could do something about the heavy back door like better spring system.

We purchased our unit in October 2016 from Camping World, Spartanburg, SC. We are pleased with the service from the dealer and have experienced two warranty repairs, kitchen slide adjustment, and replacement of the electrical pigtail underneath that slide. Happy with both repairs. The unit has the usual manufacturing flaws but nothing yet has appeared that is unusual or not easy to repair. The live ability of the unit isn't good, would like to have more room in the bedroom for a full size queen bed, but with this plan we knew this was something we would have to live with to get the rear living plan we wanted most of all. All of the equipment works well, the more we use it the better things seem to work. Fit and finish is acceptable. I did place more support under the shower pan which has been a good thing to do, the pan flexed too much for my comfort level, and the support installed at the factory was poorly done. I also reset the couch and recliners and am in the process of reinstalling all of the curtains as they all came crooked from the factory. We have ordered a new mattress as the factory mattress is very poor. Also, we will undoubtedly install another AC unit in the bedroom someday if we spend more time in it in the hot summer. The current primary unit works well but has a problem keeping up when the temps get north of 100. As with anything you own, if you work on it and fix the things that are needed or desired, the product becomes better every day. We would buy another no questions asked. We would love to have a ceiling fan in the living room and the ceiling height may allow one if we find the right one. The light over the dinette table is too low, they seem to have solved this in 2018 models with a flat light panel.

Pay over $30,000 for a brand new camper that has the amazing extreme thermal package, what a joke. 85 degrees outside partly cloudy awning out blinds down 2 box fans on high two small fans on high ac on 75 all day long and it stays at 83 degrees inside the camper call Forrest river and they tell me to call the dealer it's not their problem. And this is after water poured out of the light fixture above the kitchen island because the ac wasn't installed right. Forrest river prime time needs to actually live in their own product before they sell it.

We are into our 5th week touring Michigan in our Crusader. The longer we stay in it, the more we start noticing the quality is extremely poor. Looks pretty from the outside though. Molding by the door popped off, the wallpaper by the rear living window is bubbling...one year old and we are concerned about a leak somewhere. Trim around front door keeps popping. Next time we shop for an RV, we will take a flashlight with us and inspect all walls and trim. Nickel plating on Dura brand faucets is coming off. Chrome plating on all fancy wheels is peeling (warranty covered replacement). Outside cream colored decal accumulated pink mold/mildew. Cost too much to replace so we took a hairdryer and peeled it off. Don't spend more than $30,000 for an RV...they all seem to come off the same assembly line.

This thing is a disaster. 30 problems this year. Plumbing not hooked up, kinked water hose, spongy floor , inoperable shower, mislabeled satellite cable hook up, air cond still does not work in fact it will not cool better than three degrees cooler than ambient when only 85 outside. Windows didn'the work, no instructions, many cheap parts have broken, and that is just a few. Thank goodness the dealer has fixed most but the floor is still bad and air does not work

My first 27 RK was a 2016 model. My wife loved the floor plan. On our maiden voyage the underbelly filled with water. The shower drain was not connect during manufacturing. After a month in the shop we picked her up and headed out for a three week vacation. Two days into the trip the interior flooded. Three days later the interior flooded again and the underbelly filled up again. Vacation was cut short. By the time we got home there were soft spots developing in the floor. Prime Time/FR did the right thing and replaced the unit with a 2017 version of the same model. Kudos for them! On our maiden voyage of the 2017 .... you guessed it...the underbelly filled with water and water came inside due to the shower not being hooked up!! Now the floor has areas that have dropped 1/2" and the wall behind the shower is warped. Prime Time/Forest River has refused to repair it saying "it doesn't affect the slides and doesn't keep me from camping!" I'll take my kudos back now!

I bought this camper brand new in May 17 2017. First time taking out hot water heater does not work, take it back to dealership to get fixed. get it back take it out the second time hot water heater still does not work. we deal with it. finally get it to work enough to make hot water than again quits. enough water to take a shower the bathroom wall gives loose, the wall is buckled. Next morning try to use hot water heater does not work again. we decide we have had enough go to tear down get ready to hook up to the truck. Back truck up to the camper start to let camper down and the jack lets loose and camper falls onto truck.VERY DISGUSTED IN THIS AVENGER CAMPER!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!! DO NOT BUY NEW, THEY PROMISE A WARRANTY WHICH THEY DO NOT HONOR, SOME DUDE SITS ON HIS BUTT AT A DESK AND MAKES A ILL INFORMED DECISION ON YOUR WARRANTY CLAIM WITHOUT ANY FACTS, THEIR END STATE IS TO DENY YOUR CLAIM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2017 AVENGER 26BH, THE ELECTRICAL CORD PLUG MELTED DUE TO A FAULTY PLUG AND THEY REFUSED TO HONOR WARRANTY AND KEEP A CUSTOMER HAPPY. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS AN RV PARK AMP ISSUE, I HAVE USED SAME RV PARK IN THE PAST WITH MY OLD TRAVEL TRAILER AND NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND SERVICE TECHS HAD WARNED ME ABOUT THEIR SHADY OPERATIONS ON WARRANTY CLAIMS. THE REPAIR WAS ONLY $180 DOLLARS AND THEY PRETTY TOLD ME TO GO POUND SAND. NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BUY OR RECOMMEND PRIME TIME MANUFACTURING TO ANYONE. I'M AN ACTIVE DUTY SOLDIER AND IT IS REALLY SAD A BIG COMPANY WOULDN'T EVEN APPROVE A GOODWILL PAYOUT TO OF $180 TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER HAPPY.

Very well made trailer, forest river quality, in the prime time brand. Best layout ever for two people, we love the 50" TV and entertainment center, directly across from the couch. walk around queen bed in private bed room with sliding doors. Tons of storage, lots of cabinets, large shower with glass doors. Tows great, and with the light weight for a 31' trailer, you hardly know it's there. I tow with a 2011 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8 gets 10 to 12 MPG towing, and can hold 55MPH up the steepest grades. It's fun to pass Big Rigs, and other RV's up hill with a 31' trailer in tow

Love the rear kitchen which allows for optimum floor space when the slide is out.

Love the entertainment center and speakers inside and out.

It's a perfect size for a couple or in our case a retired Grandma and Grandpa. We can take a couple of our grandkids on a weekend outing and have plenty of room.

It's easy to tow and maneuver. We have been very happy with it and recommend it to anyone.

Bought the trailer Sep 29th 2016. Love the floor plan and comfort level inside. Easy to tow. Took it camping in October in Washington State the furnace is quiet and the inside holds the heat. All worked well except when i got home noticed that there was a water leak underneath. The main water line had a leak big job repairing due to the underbelly enclosed. I tried to find the tv bracket for the outside, I called prime time they said they would send me one free. Great! Never received it gave them an address to deliver in the states. Never heard anything more i guess I'm not getting it. Cannot locate one anywhere. Going camping again in march 2017. I'll be boon docking. I'll find out how everything works on battery power. Overall the quality of the trailer seems very solid.

Bought the thing 1yr ago. Found 24 issues the first trip out. Had the dealer fix most, but still waiting for the rest. The rear bed has been an issue and can't get a square answer from either manufacturer or dealer. The water lines to the sink were kinked in a place I couldn't get to, had the dealer fix. Outside shower wasn't even hooked up. Terrible product, regret buying it and now I'm stuck with it. Don't buy one.

We love the floor plan, but either we have a lemon, or met cannot build an rv. Purchased in Nov 2016,

These are our issues
Ramp stopped working with key few week after purchase, for repair, black water in 1 table is not drain properly or release properly, replaced release valve and put another valve where you connect sewer hose, both black tank flushed do for flush you can hook up water but does not go in. Electronic vent in kitchen an 2nd bath flap open on windy days, when it rains water comes in, all molding in kitchen area ceiling have fallen off. We find nails all over from them popping out. The spartan light fixture above the couch has fallen off in transit, this is a approx 4 foot in length 6 in width, had to carry around for 2 months till repair. Both very water tanks leak, not a little, but every time we left a rv spot, from full hook up. About 20 to 30 gallons of water would drop from the underbelly, the underbelly dropped from all the weight it was holding, that has to be replaced. Our bedroom slide stopped working so new motor was installed, after 1 month of new install, screws will not hold onto outside of rv, so now we need to get this fixed again, slides in living area were not adjusted this caused, the slides to cut thru the metal of the rv on the outside lower trim of rv, trim molding all blew off on 131st trip, so trim molding was replaced and glued,

Our ramp door, now does not work again with key, we have to get this repaired again

The temp sensor went out in the fridge, we got it temporally fixed, but don't have a working temp sensor yet, this all happened in less that a year. This rv is a pos, I don't think I would ever consider anything from forest river again even if they have it to me for free, not worth the aggrevation. Every week something goes wrong

Bought our 3901FL in May '16. Master switch on furnace wouldn't let it run. Dealer fixed it after some bellyaching because we wouldn't haul it 2hrs for them to install a 4.00 item. Front cubby let water in around slam door frame. I sealed it myself before it got bad. 4' of trim wasnt screwed down around the rubber roof line on the rear of the coach. I fixed that myself after i noticed some decals beginning to bubble. The front cap leaked some water but it all stayed in the cap. I resealed the joint and fixed that. Allbin all, it's not been a bad coach for us. We've been full timing for 20yrs so I've come to expect more than most I guess. I wish the warranty and extended warranty didn't exclude roofs and floors though...those are bigvticket items in these 5th wheels.

Do not buy a Prime Time or Forest River RV. They are junk and even worse Forest River will not stand behind them. In reading reviews I see all the same problems I have with mine, slide dragging pealing the lanolium in kitchen, trim inside falling off, light fell off the ceiling on the way home from the dealer, brand new. The cheap tires they put on the rvs are junk so much so Goodyear won't even stand behind them. I blew one with 500 miles on it and destroyed the right side of the trailer. My unit has been in the shop waiting on a new floor for the slide since Nov 14 it's now March 6 and still no floor. 31/2 months qualifies for Texas Lemon Law and I am going for it. I have owned several rvs and none fell apart this quick or even at all, never blew a tire and never had problem with service. This unit has been a nightmare and so is Forest River to deal with.

I live in my RV while working on the road and been doing this since 1999. I bought this Sanibel from dealer in Fl. had no problems with dealer. Here is a list of things that I have had or having go wrong and the RV is only 2 1/2 years old. 1) Roof leaked around A/C in living room, 2 Heater switch went out in the middle of winter, 3) Trim falling down, 4) Living room slide motors hade to be replaced, 5) Auto level control board had to be replaced, 6) water heater quite working on electric, 7) Roof leak in the slide, had to have floor replaced in slide. Did not know roof was leaking until floor about to fall out. 8) A/C in bedroom not working, 9) The front end cap is leaking and the paint is fading, 10) Toilet leaking, 11) 3 of the 4 factory tires on it has blown out causing damage, 12) window leaking in slide, 13) Leak around shower door, 14) Hydraulic hose to jack had be replaced, 15) Electric vents would not open or close. I repaired some of these items and the Dealer and Prime repaired some. Point is this RV is only 2 years old and it is falling apart. DO NOT BUY A PRIME TIME RV they are JUNK.

I’ve had nothing but problems with my Primetime Crusader380MBH. I’ve had sliding issues, water leaks, furniture fading and tearing, black water and grey water tanks dropping and breaking handles , blown 4 tires since January 2016, island came loose, molding breaking off inside, closet hanger falling off, air conditioner replacement and auto leveling system is junk. Unit has been in Shop for 2 months for issues that have been reoccurring. Trying to get them to cover items under the1 year warranty since they are still occurring. They are trying to get out of paying saying it’s out of warranty. Since some of these items have happened 3 or more times I’ve contacted an attorney to try and lemon law this POC. Will not buy from Primetime ever again. Not sure how this will work out. I’ll keep you posted.

Brand new unit in June 2016, furnace went out in frigid weather over the holidays and everyone was closed for questions about how to get help. I did get in touch with Larry at Forest River. After some confusion we continued the repair with the repairman we called in who has association with Dometic/Atwood. His bill was for $800 and 6 hours of work. Which would be typical for this problem in Santa Fe, NM ( I checked with other repair shops). I submitted the bill for at least a reasonable amount of reimbursement. I was severely scolded by Larry and he even suggested I stop payment on the check I wrote the repairman!!! He said $300 was more reasonable for this job. OK. He also said he would be in contact with me after the first of the year. I contact him yesterday for an update after hearing nothing. Today I got a snotty message that they would reimburse $100 for the job, which was much more that what it should have cost. Seriously, $100 for even beginning to tear this furnace apart to find the problem. DO NOT buy from Forest River, or Prime Time MFG. I've gone back to our dealer General RV, who have been extremely supportive. These people are crooks and build a pathetic product and then even refuse to stand by their "warranty".

My husband and I are first time RV\'s and were very excited to own our first 5th Wheel. To start with, the Sanibel 3701 layout is very cozy. That\'s why we bought it in March, 2016. We also listened to the salesman. He said Primetime Manufacturing had listened to their customers and wanted a superior product. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been living in our, ahem, 3701 since June of this year. We are due to go up to dealer repair for warranty work that is needed. Unsure of how this warranty is going to work. Our list started out with a minor repair; the pantry door needs to be shaved. Now our list consists of 2 full pages of minor to potentially major repairs. Water leaking from the shower, we suspect, into the under belly of the trailer. Husband dumps a half of a 5 gallon bucket daily. The grey tank gets emptied every other day. The pipes are sealed so he\'s unsure where the water is coming from. The refrigerator has a clicking sound coming from it constantly. There is a filtered water dispenser which we can\'t use because of no water line. The clicking comes from the refrigerator looking for water. Primetime MFG says they don\'t put water lines in their products. Then why sell a filtered water residential refrigerator if it can\'t be used. We sure weren\'t told by dealer or the salesman about this. The stairs leading into the front of the trailer squeak. This is a new trailer. The floor in the bedroom in front of the closet/laundry closet is weak and squeaks as well. I feel I could fall through it. We have taken one trip in our trailer. Going up to our get away destination was a breeze. Very enjoyable. During our return back to San Antonio, the refrigerator slipped its screw causing linoleum damage. Can\'t find the screw. The refrigerator door handle is loose. Our theater seating also came loose causing the trim to pull away when we opened the slideouts, tweaking the recliner foot hold where it can\'t be closed. When we checked it, the piece of metal was all bent causing the screw to become loose. The leveling system is a failure. It is constantly slipping and will not hold on one side of the trailer. There are more issues with this trailer. Like I said earlier, 2 full pages of problems. We have talked to Primetime MFG several times. We bought it in north Texas so have to go up there for the warranty work. There is only one dealer in the San Antonio area that works on Primetime MFG and they aren\'t taking any warranty work. We are at fault for not researching Primetime MFG/Sanibel before buying. Just loved the floorplan and all the others were cookie cutters. But Primetime MFG, dealer, and the salesman are just as much at fault for marketing and selling an inferior product. I have to say, we would take cookie cutter now over this piece. You can see the lack of pride and ownership of construction on this trailer.

Where do I start? Bought this camper new in March 2016. Within the first year, I've had more problems than I can count. I will only mention the serious issues: Water collecting in lights in master bedroom, shorting out lights. This was just after towing 500 miles to SC. Dealer looked at when we returned and stated air condition condensation (BULL!) Did this again while sitting over the winter with NO air condition running. Obviously (doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out) water is intruding around the air conditioner on roof. Cable and satellite connections will not work properly, shower leaked into storage compartment with first shower, weld on slide broke after trip from SC and slide was stuck about 4 inches out when we got home. Had to have a mobile welder come out and repair as we couldn't even tow. Mobile welder said it was a crappy welding job from the factory. Now for our major issue!! A huge crack has developed from the roof down toward the dinette slide. The rain gutter is split with this crack. This isn't a small issue, it's a major design flaw folks! You can't put the weight they have in the rear of this RV and not expect to have frame/flex issues. The rear of this RV needs more support if you're going to put a residential refrigerator, stove and cabinets all on the tip end of this RV. IT WON'T WORK! Simple engineering will tell you... when you have to much weight on the rear end of any trailer, there is going to be more stress on the frame. This stress compounded with bad roads/interstates (bouncing) will only lead to issues such as ours. I wish I could include a picture of the crack that has developed to warn other consumers about this product. Obviously Primetime / Forrest River could care less about the quality coming out of their factories. 99% of RV issues could be solved with quality control checks.

When my husband and I started looking at 5th wheels, our intent was to get a front living 5th wheel since this would be our home. But then we saw the Sanibel 3701 and we were hooked. Loved the kitchen in the rear, spacious living area and bedroom, and room to spread out if needed. We loved the showroom model. The salesman convinced us we could get it cheaper if we bought the one that was at the RV show. No problem. Wrong. Where to begin. The stairs squeak, the vent in the bathroom wouldn't close after 2 weeks, the rear airconditioner stopped working, the first time we took it on a trip, the refrigerator moved in transport and ripped the linoleum and loosened the refrigerator door, the pantry door was not made to allow for the carpeting underneath it, the fiberglass shower blistered before used, got rid of the cheap dura-leather furniture because it was uncomfortable, the duraleather theatre seating broke in transport (also on our first trip), the pendent lighting over the breakfast bar leaked like a sieve during a very hard rain, the shower pipes in the undercarriage leaked, fiberglass in the front of front blistered and cracked. Primetime claims it was impacted. We are still having to work with Prime Time Manufacturing to get this all approved. We took off a week from work to have the trailer taken in for repairs. The only thing fixed was the linoleum and the vent in the bathroom. Everything else needs to be done where we live per Prime Time Manufacturing.

The quality and pride of workman and craftsmanship is very much lacking. After living in the Sanibel 3701 for the past few months, the imperfections show themselves. This is a RV builder that both my husband and I don't recommend. Make sure you stay away from the Sanibel and all of their other products.

Oh where to begin!! Came home 6 months ago water running out of the basement 8pm mid February , why not open the basement and unload it to dry it out after a 16 hour day.
As a plumber for 15 years I won\'t even begin to list the problems with workmanship,a mix of materials that is just a leak waiting to happen.Already replaced the kitchen faucet during the first month, just finished tearing out and replacing the bath vanity and faucet, piece of crap leaking inside and swelled the plastic covered cardboard vanity top.
Sewage smell in the house , I flush the holding tank every two weeks ,oh lucky me water running out of the underbelly.... Vent not connected to top of tank crawl under stairs and replumb the vent , not even close to being aligned.
The cabinet quality is a whole other scratch my head and wonder why we paid so much for this. Warped doors cardboard covered trim no real wood in the place.
Not to mention the workmanship.....
I know it\'s a trailer ! But we have owned many and this is the poorest quality workmanship wise that I have ever encountered. We live in this full time , fell for the hype and story line from the dealer, live and learn.
My suggestion , keep lookin !
We love the floorplan it\'s awesome for full time living, we are parked , haven\'t moved it since the day we brought it home ,not sure how many other problems we would have if we we actually traveling with it.
If you are really considering buying a Prime Time product , make sure you have the time and patience for problems and repairs.
Best of luck

After reading the reviews I had to post! We thought we flooded the camper but now we feel like manufacture defect!! Was never hooked up at factory. Flooded twice now with under belly full of water. Thought it was cracked tank but was never hooked up from factory. Same as everyone has posted looked for a year and loved the floor plan. I have never seen such poor workmanship and we are currently working with rv ser dept and sanibel on warranty. We have had the unit 10 months and have only stayed in it 19 nights and of those nights we had to use public facilities at campground

Well, after living in our Sanibel 3701 Res for a year we discovered that not only ghastly our roof been leaking through the walls( which are now delaminating) our floors are saturated with water and literally rotten at all three slides! There are also rotten spots in the main flooring in the bedroom and kitchen! Our walls are actually coming apart from the amount of moisture! Don't know what will become of our trailer, we are taking it to the dealership on Friday!

Shortly after taking possession of our 36' Crusader we had 31 problems that needed fixed. The dealership fixed 4 of them. The pantry door scraped the kitchen slide floor, the RH slide was out of adjustment, Shower drain leaked, corner molding coming loose. The remainder of the items like the residential refrigerator making a clicking noise, plus a lot of misc. cosmetic stuff that I can't recall & really isn't relevant. Just recently we had to spend $966.00 to have the floor of the very same slide out (the RH slide) replaced by a PROFESSIONAL RV repair guy that had nothing good to say about the quality of material or workmanship. WE HAD BLACK MOLD GROWING UNDER THE HEAT BARRIER!!!!!! It is my thoughts to start a class action against them!!!!

This is the worst camper I\'ve ever lived in! We bought it for the \"EXTREME\" insulation package, but the only extreme is the heat that stays in it when you are in 90+ degree weather with humidity! We couldn\'t keep this camper below 83 degrees during the day while in Charlotte, NC in July, and the AC ran 14+ hours per day. We took it back to the dealer and they checked it (while it was 80 degrees out with little humidity) and they said that the AC unit was working exactly how the manufacturer says it\'s supposed to. Obviously! When we installed our washer/dryer unit and cut a vent hole we got to see the EXTREME insulation which is only 2\" styrofoam.....not sure how we will do this winter in Michigan. The air filter system is terrible as dust covers everything inside within a day after cleaning. The master bath faucet was so close to the sink that you couldn\'t get your hands under the water to wash your hands so we had to replace it with a residential faucet. Overall, the room inside is large as we had 5 kids in here for 3 weeks this summer. The kitchen layout is terrible but I make it work. The dining room booth cushions aren\'t attached so they slide out while the kids are sitting on them and have already started fraying at the seams and will probably not make it another couple months. Not sure how I will replace these yet.
We have owned this unit for 3 months and have lived in it full-time as my husband travels for work, and are already looking at trading it in on a Jayco 375 model.

My husband and I were searching for a 5th wheel for better towing and more space. After searching for months we settled on the Sanibel 3601, the residential package as we are full timers. We were sold because the unit had a full time living warranty and it appeared so well made, boy were we wrong! I am currently sitting in the camper while two RV repair men put our gray tank for the bathroom and washer back in because it literally fell out on to the ground. When emptying the black tank we fill up the gray in order to flush the line, I went to pull the gray valve yesterday and boom the tank hit the ground. There was literally NOTHING holding this tank in except two clips and the plastic underpinning. Apparently the clips had worked loose on the road and the plastic was the only thing holding it. At this point we may have to get a new tank and have our shower removed to get the tank replaced. We have not even had this camper a year. In addition we have had a hydraulic leak, the motor die on the bedroom slide, a cabinet door that snaps in half every time we move, the front burner on the oven falls off because the threads are stripped, damage to slide moulding from moving, ceiling trim pulling from the ceiling, carpet unravelling on slides, bathroom sink was placed so close to the bowl you have to hold your hands against the back of the sink, and the black tank was not properly sealed so if it gets even half way full our camper smells of sewage. This is just a short list, but it goes on and on. We have two dogs and know home other than this fifth wheel so repair work is nearly impossible when we can't rally put it in the shop. I have called Primetime 3-4 times and left messages with no reply.
I truly hate this because we loved the layout, looks, and livability, of this 5th wheel, but the workmanship is beyond poor. Do not waste your money!

We purchased our 2016 3601 Prime Time RV in 2015 from Holiday World of Los Cruces NM. They delivered it to us because at the time we didn't have a vehicle that would tow it.We choose this model because it was listed as a residential and we live in it full time. When it was delivered I noticed that the rear of the RV had damage to the fiber glass and the ladder was severely damaged.Went inside after putting the slides out.The bedroom slide would only go halfway out.We found glass all through out the living room rug.Which explained why it took an extra 2 weeks for them to deliver it. The story the dealership spun was that their certified driver was out sick. I called the dealership about the damage and they accused me of it.Mean while we can barely get into the bathroom and the bedroom because of the slide problems. The dealership gave me the run around, etc. The battery was not being charged which caused the slide not to go out completely. I discovered this because every time the refrigerator would run I could smell wire burning. What I found was that the ground cables weren't even connected in the fuse box.So at this point I decided to check all of the wiring and not one wire through out the RV was even tight. After correcting the wiring and resetting the bedroom slide brain I was able to get it out mostly.First rain storm the dining slide roof was if there wasn't one.Found the gap between the roof and the outer wall was large enough to stick my hand in.I took care of that only to find that the window right there also leaks around the molding and the window doesn't open.Again I contacted the dealership and finally the General manager came out and took pictures of all of the problems but didn't inform the manufacturer of anything. The hydraulic jacks would pop all the time and I found all of the fittings loose.Needless to say we didn't get any help from the manufacturer and very little help from the dealership. There are many more problems with this RV and to many to list. When I got a tow vehicle I refused to take it in to my selling dealership for obvious reasons. I have made most of the repairs myself.Recently I found the floor below the window that has leaked is rotten and the manufacturer told me to piss up a rope. I would not recommend a Prime Time or Forest River product to my worst enemy.

My wife and I searched for many months and found Sanibel. We loved the floor plan and the décor and decided to take a plant tour of Prime Time prior to purchasing a unit. We took a trip to Wakarusa, IN and met with Jeff (product mgr)for Sanibel. My question for Jeff was; why should we buy Prime Time. Jeff's comment was the number of quality checks in place puts them ahead of the competition. What a real joke that was! We toured the entire process from start to finish and saw many things that would make us skeptical of the purchase. After pondering for several months and visiting several dealers and shows, we purchased a 2016 Sanibel 3551. During the purchase we saw several things of concern and were noted for warranty work. We brought the unit home and for the next two weeks as we began to load our new unit we found more and more things that demonstrated the poor quality that we questioned ourselves about. The list grew to over 50 plus issues, which is still growing today. Due to the number of issues and the kind of issues, I actually received a call from Roger at Prime Time. His intensions started out good but quickly changed and then stood behind the corporate shield and made excuses of human error as most consumers hear when trouble exists. Many of the quality infractions/ issues were repaired by me prior to our first camping event. I was directed by Prime Time to the dealer for warranty work which has been half completed. Not all items were approved for repair. What I have learned is Prime Time has forgotten about quality and is pushing quantity; along with the fact that they have forgotten customer service. My suggestion is: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM PRIMETIME MANUFACTURING. It's junk! I will be posting another review with the list of items that were found. If anyone wishes to speak with me about this, 302-249-1775 We are very sorry that we purchased this unit because of the poor quality and craftsmanship and the attitude of PTM.

this is the list of issues found wrong with our unit over the past 4 months and the list continues to grow.
DO NOT PURCHASE A UNIT FROM PRIME TIME MANUFACTURING. They are all about quantity over quality.
1. scratched and cracked dinette table
2. poorly installed pantry door w/ damaged hinges
3. poorly caulked shower door led to huge leak
4. damaged trim from freezer door rubbing while slide is in
5. damage to front of island by table top while slide is in
6. bright white thermostat cover on tan wall
7. damaged bathroom door and would not latch while connected to fifth wheel hitch.
8. small cut in vinyl floor
9. ripped gasket on bedroom slide
10. loose panel inside of cabinet
11. poorly cut back splash panels (2)
12. kinked water lines to the island
13. poorly cut plywood under counter top
14. HVAC ducting full of debris
15. A/C and heat ducts poorly taped
16. heat duct holes in floor cut 1 inch to big
17. heater wires pinched between heater cabinet and steps
18. metal duct work was bent
19. poorly clamped duct work
20. H/W heater poorly plumbed
21. propane supply line was not supported
22. door strike poorly installed
23. poorly installed screws all over the unit, creating damage to wood work because they were installed on a 45 degree angle, screws that were too big and screws of the wrong type
24. hole in the wall behind hand rail
25. poorly built, poorly stapled and poorly glued sofa back
26. unit poorly cleaned from the factory, full of metal debris, wood debris, found loose screws and even small pieces of trim
27. poorly cut holes in cabinetry for plastic collars (wire routing)
28. cracked trim at bottom of slide
.29 poorly installed ceiling trim and crown molding
30. shower door bumper not properly installed
31. toilet rocked on floor, not secure
32. poorly installed screws on slide rollers
33. oven vent was not properly installed

.35 several cracked support rails in pantry
.36 poorly installed gas shocks on hatch
.37 air condition coil cabinet was full of debris, left behind by Prime Time
.38 poorly installed battery box
.39 poorly designed and cut counter top behind the oven
.40 poorly braced side panels around wheel wells
41. white wall switch mounted near a dark brown receptacle
42. another ripped gasket on inside of bedroom slide
43. large 4 inch knock-out stuff in a A/C duct
44. poorly engineered chairs, no support at rear of seat bottom
This is a short version due to space. I find most of these infractions are due to poor ingenuity or poor craftsmanship and should not exist. I was told by Prime Time that these units are not perfect and are built by humans, as if to make an excuse for the poor quality that we found. I have pics and video to share if needed. I believe the general public should launch a campaign to the governing agencies over the RV industry to tighten the regulation on production of RV's. Too many consumers get burnt by poor quality in the production of RV's.

A great floor plan made with the worst quality control I've seen. I have owned mine 10 mos and it has spent over 40 days in the shop. Seals incorrectly installed on slides causing leaks, screw protruding into rubber roof, roof panels not even and spaced correct, plumbing breaking during travel from poor fit. Im currently fighting to get repairs made now but very unhappy with my choice in trailers this time.

We had a problem with the heater and eventually it had to be replaced. Runs perfectly now and we have used it a lot. The kitchen sink leaked and that was fixed. Other than those two problems, we are very happy with our travel trailer. Comfortable. Roomy. The mattress was hard but had a beautiful topper made at RV Mattress and now it is very comfy. Love the residential three door French refrigator. Love the kitchen area. The oven could be a little bigger. Absolutely love the king sized bed. Wish I could submit pictures to show you.

Owned Camper for about 18 mths now, First problem encountered turned on Electric Fire filled camper with blue smoke the Tech who fixed problem said we were lucky camper did not burn, first trip I went to use Island sink and broken P Trap dumped a load water into base cabinet, trip to Home Depot fixed that problem.Other problems since hot water pipe to shower valve leaking only noticed because water running out of under belly, outdoor kitchen 2 burner stove completely fell out due to inadequate design and construction, latest problem noticed water running across lino floor this morning climbed on roof to discover roof membrane wrinkled it had pulled out from under retaining strip that holds the front cap to the roof all the self leveling caulk had separated did not want to drive 200 miles home with chance of rain so repaired it myself,my next concern is dining room/entertainment slide is starting to make funny noises until about halfway retracted,The sad thing is we really like the layout of this camper but I really think PrimeTime could and should do a better job with their Quality Control Dept if they have one I would like to know if they do exist, I have a friend who bought a 2016 Prime Time crusader fifth wheel who has had many problems and is considering a 20000 dollar hit to replace his.

A travel trailer with a fifth wheel lay out - this trailer has been perfect for my hubby and me. We love the outdoor kitchen! It seems to have everything we need and then some. The interior is very nicely done and the layout flows very well. If I had to pick one negative it would be that the bedroom is a tight squeeze but honestly we spend about 8 hrs a night in there, so it\'s kind of hard to list it as a negative. With the hitch work we had done it also seems to pull very well for the size.

Save yourself the hassle AND STAY AWAY FROM PRIMETIME!! My wife and I purchased a Lacrosse 330RST after TONS of research. We decided to go new to avoid problems that come with previous owner misuse or not having warranty and picked up a 2016 that we fell in love with. After a year i can safely say the lacrosse is nothing more than a cardboard box painted in really pretty colors and we are literally screwed. Upon delivery, two indoor speakers didn't work and a sconce was broken, no big deal, sure, but I should've known. 3 months later THE ENTIRE UNDERBELLY FELL OFF ON THE HIGHWAY. LITERALLY. oh, and we lost a slide motor and module. It sat in a repair shop for 2 months. 3 months after that the refrigerator cooling unit quit. WE'RE ONLY AT 8 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP HERE! luckily I was able to raise hell and get a mobile tech to our campsite. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there. 3 months later the electric water decided it was done working. Not the end of the world as we still had use of our propane heater, however, I guess I had to take it in when the roof developed a bubble because the sealant had failed. Peachy. I was then told that this was a known issue and they stopped using this type of roof membrane and sealant, only they never informed us and that could've been helpful in not destroying everything in our closet. Spending $45k on a rig is no light matter, I just wish I would've gone with a more reliable company. Even though everything (except the water heater, that still doesn't work, and I get electrocuted every time I touch metal and ground) was fixed under "warranty" the rig spent 5 of the first 13 months of ownership in a shop. Absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the hell and just go Fleetwood or Winnie. If I could return this thing I would, and I think about it every single day of my life. I only hope that no one else makes the same mistake I did.

Little things were curtains not hanging even. Inside trimming falling down. Screws following from ceiling, cant find where from. But I know others with worse problems.

My wife and I have been rv'ing for over 20 years and have owned from Class A's to Fifth Wheels. But, we consider this Prime Time travel trailer to be the best of all of them. It is not only easier to tow but to handle and set up. The residential model provides a large dual refrigerator and freezer with opposing slides which makes for more living space for those longer extended stays. The shower is very large and can accommodate even the largest camper. The convenient doors into the bathroom from either the bedroom or hall way make for easy access and privacy. The large mirrored closet also has a drop compartment for those longer garments which is much appreciated. We love the rear entertainment center which includes an electric fireplace/heater and Lazy Boy rockers. This rv truly makes us feel at home when away from home.

Worst investment i have ever made!! The quality control is terrible. Over 12 issues from day one. Level jack welded incorrectly(crooked), stripped screws everywhere, no radio antennae, bent window trim, heat pipes were kinked, hot water heater doesn't maintain hot water, jack level system randomly sets alarm off(once at 4:30am),etc. They look gorgeous but wait till u own one and have problems. 4 phone calls made with not one return phone call. Refuse to replace a 60k unit which is the biggest investment i've ever made. I also owned a 2015 296bhs that had a leak in rear bunkhouse promting my upgrade to a "luxury" camper. I hate this unit and want it bought back, but it must not fit under they're customer satisfaction is number one motto. That's the world today, once they have your money they don't care!!!

Great on paper. the quality control during the build is just horrible. wiring not connected, I mean not even hooked up as well as just loose. The construction dirt was just stupid. lost three tires in less than 5K miles, got lucky no body damage. I did keep good pressure also. I have rebuilt electrical and plumbing on this unit, some prior to the first use, the sink in the lav was a joke..who do they have building these units. If a person were not mechanically inclined to own one of these would get old real fast. our unit is now better than new due to being rebuiltas we go.. sad this company puts out such a poor product..good luck

This RV is a piece of crap, and the manufacturer doesn't care, has horrific customer service, and won't honor its warranty. It came new with several defects, including the staples that hold the rug down that weren't in all the way (at least a 3rd weren't in properly). First, I cut my foot on them, then my dog did. When I told Prime Time about this they said "oh, that happens all the time. That's common." What?!?!?! I was dumb-founded. Their quality control is that bad, they know it, and just say "yeah, we know, oh well, too bad"? The sound system didn't work, the sky light leaked, the panel under the shower was cracked, etc. Then, the *very first time* we take it on the road, after locking everything, I go over a bump (granted, a big bump) on the interstate and the side door where the outdoor kitchen is flies open, then flies off, in the middle of I-95 in a rain storm at 70 mph. I'm so lucky it didn't kill anybody, and easily could: it's a very big door. But, they won't cover it under the warranty. The total cost of the repairs was going to be $1,600. This company makes tens of million dollars a year (4 of the same rv's were sold *the same day* we bought ours, and that's just at one dealership), and they won't cover this? We bought it *brand new*. I even tried making a deal with them, that I'd go through my auto insurance, which would increase my rates, but I'd be okay with that if they paid my $500 deductible. They again said "no, it's not our problem." And we paid $42,000 for this junk heap?

Bottom line: run away from all their products. Not only are they pieces of junk and poorly assembled, it appears the manufacturer knows this and doesn't seem to care.

The Windows leak and the slide out leaks water into the inside through the light fixture. There is a hole next to the door at the floor level that you can see the the ground outside. The manufacturer said it is not their problem and was very rude to my son on the telephone.

My wife and I looked for a travel trailer for many months before choosing the Prime Time Avenger 30QBS. We loved the floor plan, and the four bunks. Plenty of sleeping room. When I went to pick up the camper, I noticed that air was only coming out of the forward ducts, and nothing from the rear ducts. When I brought this to the attention of the service department, the guy had trouble removing the are conditioning cover. Not to mention the trouble he had trying to reattach it. I finally did it myself. The problem with the AC was that during manufacturing they did not install the proper divider into the unit to keep air from recirculating. My next clue was the fact that the service man (who supposedly had ten years experience at the time) struggled to connect my weight distribution hitch to the trailer. Again I instructed him the proper way. After we started using the camper we found one thing after another that needed repair. Noting huge, but bothersome at the very least. The heating ducts were completely full of sawdust, I don't think I will ever get it all out. The ducts aren't sealed with tape at all. The television cable throughout the camper needed repair because they used the wrong size "F" connector for the size cable they use. My wife kept stepping on something in the carpet around the slide and hurting her feet. I removed almost one hundred carpet staples from the slide carpet that were not fully seated due to a bad staple gun, or low air pressure. There are still hundreds that I didn't remove. It is as if a child of one of the workers were there the day my coach was built and they gave him the staple gun to have at it. The staples that hold the wall panels and trim look as if there were some putty installed to cover the staple, but all the putty was swiped away and now there is a big brown spot on the panel at every staple. This isn't seen until the light hits it just the right way or I would not have left the lot with it. The wooden divider behind the electrical box that separates the power cord storage from getting tangled with the camper electrical system was installed with only two small screws at the bottom and broke within weeks of owning the camper. I noticed this while trying to pull enough electrical cable out to connect it to the service. I could only get about ten feet and then it hung up. I have to completely remove the fuse box and all wiring to get this broken wooded divider out of the way. Every hidden space in the camper was completely soiled with saw dust, screws, shards of metal, scrap wire....etc. We have cleaned and cleaned this camper and when we pull it 50 miles, sawdust is everywhere again because there is so much of it in the walls and places we cant get to, it migrates out somehow. The cables between the DVD player and Television were installed in such a tight radius behind the DVD player, that it finally broke. I had to install a smaller type of cable to get the DVD player working again. I took pictures of most of what I have mentioned, and sent them along with a long list of issues to customer service at Prime Time. I received a reply a few days later saying that they take quality serious and would look into these issues. In the mean time I should take my coach to the dealership to have the items looked at. If the dealership service department cant install the air-conditioning cover, nor properly connect the camper to my truck, do you honestly think they can fix the DVD cable, the television cable connectors, the bath tub leak, properly taping and sealing the heating ducts? What about the power cord divider beard? I think not. The proper solution would be to properly do things the first time! I have spent a lot of time and money and repaired all the issues myself, properly I might add, except for the cosmetic issues revolving around the staples and putty. A new issue has just came to light as well. I have noticed a large bulge in the siding just above the drivers side front bedroom window when the trailer is being towed down the road. When it is setting still, the siding looks great, when in tow, it looks as if it is going to fly apart. We are going to trade this unit in, even if I take a loss, on anything we can find that is built with any type of quality control. Do yourself a favor, especially if you are not a handy fix it man, do not buy a Prime Time Product. You will either continuously work on it, or it will be at the dealership while you should be camping and having the time you dreamed of. There are several other issues that I did not mention, but I do not want to ramble on. I will say this though...I have camped in some very hard rain, and several days of non stop rain, and I have not had a single leak. Very surprising huh? At least they got the roof right.

I\'ve read the bad reviews, but knock on wood, everything works in ours. Would like an antenna, outside cable/sat connections mislabeled, don\'t like bathroom faucet but that can be changed, fit and finish lacking, j-trap in bathroom sink leaked, but I just tightened. Biggest adjustment was in towing as we shed 3000lbs moving into this model and it\'s more susceptible to gusts. Overall, satisfied.

Never purchase a Prime Time RV by Forest River. They do not stand behind their products. Once it is purchased good luck getting anything fixed (even under warranty). In year one of ownership it spent the majority of the time at the dealership waiting for approval on warranty and parts. Two weeks out of warranty (sitting over winter) and I have a fifth wheel that has a slide that will not open and the front of it has a broken supports. Basic structure problems with the fifth wheel. Prime Time refuses to fix anything on it. I have been quoted $4000 to fix it. Complete crap for a unit that was 12 months and a few weeks old, stored inside and looks like new. There site says "Our customer-focused philosophy provides you the absolute BEST ownership experience when you become part of our family." This is a complete lie. Never buy a Prime Time product or Forest River in general. The worst part about this is the fifth wheel was purchased so a family could camp with their severly disabled daughter. Now I am stuck with a fifth wheel that I can't even get her in because the slide wont open.

We love the floor plan. Second door to bathroom is great, downside is you need to walk around to it if in the bedroom and the sofa sleeper is out. Pulls well behind a half ton truck. Quality not the best but price is right. Factory warranty is only one year and needed new led lights after 6 months as well as a rubber seal around the slide out needed replacing but otherwise it has been solid. In a sea of white it stands out with alloy wheels and nice exterior color scheme.

Understanding that there may be minor issues during manufacturing, our shake down cruise revealed issues like; inverter failure, city water hookup leaking, bathroom door unable to close, hot water tank indicator light not working, cargo doors warped, and some other smaller issues. Those items were repaired by the dealer. The second trip in June 2016 the roof bubbled up, could disconnect external shower hose, shower door bracket came loose and broke, and we noticed where fasteners that held panels in place the filler would be smeared and uneven, external NatGas hookup full of pipe sealer, external water drain pipe connection leaked, wheel skirt cracked at screws...all of which the dealer repaired without consternation.
The design and equipment of the RV is very good, the quality of the workmanship of assembly is at best shotty. Its unfortunate, PrimeTime could improve their approach to QA to support an attractive and well design RV. I hate to see what could easily be a great product go to waste.

We really liked the layout of this trailer, but within weeks of purchase things started to go wrong. Here is a list of the issues we have had so far:
1.Interior Panels coming loose(4-5)
2.Trim pieces coming off(4-5)
3.Water tank strap coming loose due to rusted bolts(this one is really hard to figure out as the bolts rusted through completely within a few months of purchase. How does that happen?)
4.Rust on frame
5.Propane line rusted(again how does a brand new propane line rust withing 3 months of purchase?)
6.CO2 alarm replaced
7.Awning motor Repaired
8.Window latch broke while driving down the road causing it to flap in the wind.
9.Shower Vent knob broke
10.Heater continues to cycle even when turned off
11.One of the three kitchen cabinet drawers have roller catches, other two do not. Drawers always come open while traveling.

So far the dealer has fixed things as they come up.

Some of these things are just an inconvenience, but things like the window latch breaking and the water tank strap breaking could be dangerous as they happened while driving down the road.

We have owned our little camper for 4 weeks, now normally we understand new campers have bugs that need to work out and they will spend their fair share in the shop at first, however with this camper the flaws are pretty major. The siding what not installed correctly and literally starting coming off the coach at a mear 60mph on our way home from a trip, to our surprise it was actually due to it not being installed all the way into its channel during installation, our graphics are already bubbling and coming off, the grey and black tank valves broke from the inside and now we can't drain them. Along with the furnace will not stay on the the microwave lasted 1 day. Ladies and gents - we only owned this camper for 4 weeks and camped in it a total of 4 days. Not to mention it is stored in a climate controlled warehouse... I am awaiting to hear from prime time as to how they are going to handle this lemon I'll keep you posted.

Let me start by saying it has not been returned to dealer because I am not sure if some of the concerns were not dealer caused and by releasing this to me thye have already showed me their detail for quaulity is poor. Gas line supports three retainer clips not holding it up, Either screws broken off or clamp not even tight, Toilet leaked due to hose fitting to tank not tight, Walls coming untaped where they join, Sink faucet very loose and flopping side to side, CD player would not accept a CD because nobody removed shipping screw, LED track light half LED's do not burn, Found when installed not sealed on end big burn mark, outside speakers failed first weekend, Rear bunks hit fire extinsuisher when lowered, Cabinet rails are installed so the drawers are cocked. No literature on design build telling you where all the water valves are you get to play hunt and find. Either all of them are this poorly built or it was built on a very bad day? Most of these items I corrected on my own just because my patience level was pretty low after I listenned to all the special care given to one before it left dealer. I accepted this product and will continue to keep it because I am not sure if this is any worse or better than another product manufacturer. Basically whomever let it out the door is eiher not proud to be an employee or just don't care. Poor workmanship seems to be the norm. Why am i righting this now after a year it is because the awning lights failed and all indications are it is the result of more Poor installation practices.
Feel free to email me in regards to this I will tell it like it is. Piece of crap product in a piece of crap world !! charleswmoore@usa.net

My husband and I purchased our Tracer Air last year, it is a 2016 model and we love it!!! All of our friends say it has the most room, counter space and storage space they have ever seen in a 26' RV!! We love it, it has everything we wanted in a trailer, along with great tracking when we tow it. We had a few problems at first but the dealer fixed them immediately.

We bought the trailer brand new. A few problems surfaced right away, but the very costly and dangerous issue happened recently. Driving at 60 mph on an Interstate, one leaf spring broke, slamming a tire into the back of the wheel well, locking up the tire. It required $3010 to fix. The cause was springs that are rated for 1500lbs each on a trailer that has a GVWR of3941. Our trailer had no water on board, lightly loaded. Forest River accepts no responsibility. Glad nobody was seriously hurt!

I'm a travel RN and spend months at a time in this rig. I purchased it new in OK. Overall I am very happy with it. I've had the interior door mechanisms worked on because doors would not stay closed. While I love the size of my giant refrigerator, it seems to drip from the freezer continuously I suppose due to auto defrost? I learned to put a collection pan under the drip reservoir to keep excess water out of hydrator bins I wish there were more outlets in the living room, and I don't like the safeguard outlets that have no reset button. I've had to use a hairdryer with a reset button on it to reset the outlet. Those are my only complaints.
I like that it has triple axles. It tows like a dream, and is very easy to set up and dismantle camp at each destination. I am a single female, 5'1", 130 lbs and do everything myself, so I am thankful to have such a great rig. I love the big garage with plenty of space for my motorcycle, kayak, a road and a touring bicycle, and still plenty of room to spare. I did have all theater seating removed, as I found it took up too much living space. I enjoy the huge tv and the terrific sound system.
The bedroom has a queen bed with night stands on each side. This was a major requirement of mine as I enjoy sipping my coffee in bed in the mornings. I don't understand why so few RV' s that I looked at offered night stands. Plenty of closet and drawer space in the bedroom. Large bathroom and shower. I do wish the kitchen cabinets were all enclosed and deeper.
I would definitely recommend this RV!

Right now, we are extremely disappointed with our brand new 2016 1240X. We love the floor plan and may of the features of this unit and we spent a ton of time researching the market before settling on it. This is the rig we plan to use for our retirement "grand tour". Once we had decided on the unit we wanted, we had to drive to Minnesota to find it and bring it home to Colorado.

Just by luck, I removed a couple pf the access panels in the pass-through storage space under the unit to aid in chasing cable runs for a satellite dish we installed. In the process, I discovered a puddle of water on the floor of the crawl space. It turns out it came for a water leak behind the water heater. We could not get a Spartan dealer to service it as they were backed up for "months". We took it to a very reputable RV dealer near us and they repaired the leaking fitting, but in the process, they found multiple additional leaks.

Clearly, there is no way this unit could have been pressure tested before leaving the factory and that is extremely disappointing for a $100K RV.

So far, Prime Time has told us they will stand behind the costs of the repairs, and we are taking them at their word at this point. We are still hoping to enjoy many years of touring with our new RV, but we have now owned it over a month and are still waiting to have a chance to use it as it is still in the shop having additional repairs done. Extremely disappointing!

We purchased the RV in April of 2016. Immediately had major issues with the slides which needed gears replaced. The front Cap developed a crack and had to be replaced. The black tank indicator was not working. A crack developed in the ceiling of the garage. The automatic leveler does not work correctly. We often end up with tires lifted off the ground. We had it in for warranty repair for four months. Finally took it out on a trip only to find the molding on the top of one of the slides has pulled out. We feel like we purchased a lemon and are very unhappy. We purchased the Rv in Texas and have all repairs done in Wheat Ridge, CO. The Dealer has worked with us and have been very helpful but iissues just keep popping up.

My husband and I purchased the 3901 sanibel by prime time. We fell in love with the floor plan, we were really sold on the front living room and 5 slides. We were impressed with all the warranties it came with! What a joke! As soon as we got it home we noticed some small issues, a screen torn, the ceiling fan switch in the bed room completely broken out of the wall, pantry door would stick, window on the right in the living room crank broke, the button on the throw pillows in the bedroom all came off. We called our salesperson that day, he said he will have to make a warranty claim and all that was pretty minor so we would deal with all that when we brought it in for its cleaning before the manufactor warranty ran out. Well in April 2016 the air conditioners started cutting off with E1 code almost everyday, we are living in the Rv while we get ready to start building our home, we called our dealer, where we bought it in August, they had been purchased by another dealer in in January 2016 and did not leave any records of the previous dealers commoners so bring all of our warranty papers in and they would take care of things, well prime time did not approve the window crank, the torn screen, the ceiling fan switch, they could not get the air to act up even once, but there was a bulge in the back of the camper where the manufactor had installed the back closet on wrong, they fixed that, but in the mean time they found a pin hole on the roof, no clue how that could have happened, and rain had gotten in and the roof needs to be replaced, not covered By prime time of course, the labor to fix it will be $6000.00 that\'s not including parts, so they suggested I make an insurance claim, so after 4 1/2 weeks, last weekend in May 2016 we pick it up they were suppose to clean it, which was part of our original purchase, they didn\'t do that but we took it anyway. Digging through our camper we ran across some paperwork from a previous owner of this camper, keep in mind this was sold to us as a new camper, we called the previous owner who stated he bought this exact same camper in May 2015 and drove it off the lot to a camping site, the tub leaked and soaked the bedroom floor and the hydrolics leaked, he brought it back after 36 to 40 hours and canceled his check. Well guess what the air is working now but the tub leaked, soaked the bedroom carpet and my husband went underneath the camper and the underbelly is sagging with water and hydronic oil is leaking as well, we r sort of new to camping and we cannot believe the way the dealer and prime time is treating this matter, I just hope they make this right!!

We purchased this RV because of the floor plan. Purchased in June, 2015 in Meridan, MS (4hrs from our home).(This is our 4th RV purchase and my husband is very thorough is maintaining them) Upon arriving home with our purchase we opened the door and found lighting had fallen down over the island, cabinet door had not been closed and had been damaged by slide, and a cargo door was bowed and not closing properly. Took RV back to dealer, which they did repair the above items. By October, 2015 we had only taken 1 trip with our RV and were getting ready to go again. Upon preparing for our trip my husband was flushing out the tanks and found the 3 holding tanks had fallen through the frame and flooded the under carriage; plumbing under the kitchen sink was leaking; wall paper was peeling off in various rooms; ceiling in the living area was cracking; front a/c unit was not cooling; exterior screws were backing out all around the unit; weather stripping was coming off all around the unit; exterior trim had fallen off master bedroom slide; electric wires behind entertainment center had melted; the wall in the hall had started to bow outward..and on and on! We paid for someone to tow our unit back to the dealer...long story short they did not fix but a few minor issues (kept for over 5 months and would not help us with PT. My husband talked with PT with no avail. We did purchase the extended warranty. Finally found a dealership that would take our unit and they are in the process of dealing with getting the repairs done. We have spoken with our attorney back in October, 2015 but here in MS the lemon law does not apply because the unit is not motorized. Unfortunately, between making monthly payments, insurance and repairs we can not pursue any legal action at this time. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS UNIT TO ANYONE!

Recently purchased our 3712X Toy Hauler. Initial feelings, great. Travelled from Alberta to Arizona, and have a few issues. The first disappointment is the ceiling vent in the bedroom. There is NO FAN. It gets scorching hot up there, and with only 1 window, there's no cross draft. It definitely needs a Fantastic Fan, thermostatically controlled. The ceiling fan in the kitchen is equally useless. It does not move enough air to blow out a match. The AC cannot keep up to 30+ celsius temp. The living space gets hot air trapped with no where to go, because there is no windows on the driver side of the rig.

The TV stopped working on the first day of travel. Will not even turn on.

The living area is drastically lacking plugins. There is only 2.

The cupboards space, and the location of the TV are the two GREAT feature of this toy hauler.

The awning over the front door also is useless. It is so high, and is not adjustable for height. It does not even shade the bottom of the door, so forget getting shade at ground level.

The quality and factory support for our unit is severely lacking. Bought he unit in Sept 2016. By April 2017 we had 21 warranty problems from cosmetic (cracked decals) to major (Ladder to roof came off when I tried to climb up, leaking grey water collection system, gas burner on cook stove, Norcold refrigerator will not stop freezing food). The dealer has done as much as they can with little to no support from the factory. My wife and I are very disappointed with the quality of this product and factory indifference. I will not recommend this brand to my friends.

The front nose has completely fade. 1st time I used built in vacuum the whole wall it was installed in fell down. Pantry door would not open. Hydraulic jacks leak. Trim coming off wall. We bought this RV to live in and it has not been moved since the day we got it, and it is still falling apart. We would not ever hook up and try to travel with it, for fear it would fall completely fall apart going down the road. Stay away from this company

Decided to upgrade from a travel trailer sunnybrook had for over 10 yrs and never In shop for absolutely nothing to a 2015 5th wheel crusader. On fourth trip of use the air conditioner broke, awning leaking, slide out off track along with other minor problems. My main complaint the dealing with primetine warranty department. Because of the location and timing had to choose a non dealer of not their choice, because of that choice had to pay for the warranty repairs and would receive reimbursement. Payment was made 60 days ago and still have not received my reimbursement check. The reason because the repair shop had wrong zip code off by 1 number and forest river accounting department took upon themselves to change the city to match the erroranous zip code instead of leaving the city which was correct causing my reimbusement check to be lost in mail. Have been on phone for over 2 weeks and still no check. Camper is not the problem it's forest river employees poor quality busines

We decided to upgrade from a bumper pull to 5th wheel. We did a ton of homework and settled on PrimeTime Mfg due to the quality we wanted. The quality is NOT what they claim. We have had nothing but problems with this unit since we purchased it new in March. Awning leaked, water heater didn't work, shower drain pan disconnected from drain pipe, slides squeal, doors won't shut, doors warped, cabinets won't stay shut, trim and molding cheaply installed. When I called PT they didn't seem to be too worried about it. We are not happy campers!

We had our Sanibel 36 01 delivered June 15 2015, had a couple of minor problems but nothing big. A leaky pipe under the sink and an outside speaker that did not work. It's now June 29 2017 and still happy. We live in the unit year around and find it very comfortable. It was -18F last winter and we were warm and nothing froze. I have spoken with other owners and they say they are happy. The only concern I had was the warranty service, and only because of stories I heard. I have since found out they were just stories. We have no regrets and would not hesitate to recommend a Sanibel Coach. I think the addition of a dishwasher would be a fantastic option.

Prime time customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. They don't stand behind their warranty. We were able to get most of the minor things fixed but the furniture made by lane was horrible. It was supposed to be leather and wasn't. The material had major flaws and fell apart everywhere and neither primetime or Lane refused to replace. Instead they sent a cover. The floor plan was causing a dent in the fridge but again there was nothing we could do so now we have a dented fridge. I would never ever buy another primetime product. I could go on and on.

Purchased 2015 model number 3551 in October 2014. Not much the lot going into building this to be user-friendly. The leveling system is mounted inside the basement area. Should be mounted on the exterior of the RV gelcoat coming off front and rear sections. They only allow $3200 to make repairs. My closest estimate is just over $5000. I will be putting over $2000 out of my pocket to make a repair that never should've happened. Bottom line they were better products out there . I would not recommend this to her friend to buy.The best I will give it his 2 1/2 stars

We bought this to live in full time, as we travel full time for work. Most expensive mistake I've ever made. Within weeks, the living room slide began leaking. A few months later, the hydraulic lines that operate the two main slides blew, spilling hydraulic fluid all inside the underbelly. Outer door seals leak, so the storage compartment gets filled with water every time it rains. There are also several minor issues that I'd be willing to overlook if it wasn't for the major issues. As other have noted, the workmanship on these units is horrible. Doors poorly hung, slides not always sitting correctly. We have to pull the two main slides in a few inches every time it rains to prevent water from seeping in.

This has to be the worst 5th wheel on the market.

we also had the same problems, floor torn under refrig, had repaired, torn again, seals around slides torn, fireplace had to be replaced, slide in bedroom failed on a trip. battery dies after towing for 5 hours, screws on exterior lower panel constantly come loose, no supports for these panels, so they keep flopping when going down the road, slides are constantly out of adjustment having gaps either high or low, blew 2 tires, found out they were old stock.ceiling light covers were not put on properly, they keep falling, holes through panels cut very rough, and were never cleaned at the factory, sawdust keeps appearing after every trip, cable tv hookups were all messed up, no reception for stereos inside or outside, had antennas installed but did not help, they are both useless. TV's are unknown brands. 1/2 trim that goes on outside inserted into metal strips are 6 - 8 inches short showing screws behind them. Under belly material was dropping with no supports from side to side, and attached without washers, so material tore, and had to replaced, this now looks like a mess underneath, as this is put on when the frame is upside down at the factory. And the list goes on and on.

Bought this model in 2016 as the floor plan was exactly what we were looking for. It appears to have defective paint as outside is covered with spots and stains and front cap is starting to fade. Company will not fix as the warranty on paint is for one year only. Prime Time should stand behind their product and repair the paint. This should not happen on an expensive camper in less than 2 years.

Where to begin .Our first trip out the bathroom sink water was leaking all over the floor. Discovered the plumbing wasn't even hooked up to the drain pipe. Only went on 3 more trips and noticed the black membrane under the bathroom and living room slide outs were swelling from water infiltration. It was at the dealers for over 4 months to fix and our warranty didn't cover this problem. Bathroom door doesn't stay shut unless you slam it. Inside trim separating from the walls, and the nose cap paint has oxidized so bad it looks like a really old unit. Very Very disappointed in this 5th wheel. I would stay clear of any prime time RVs, unless you have money to throw away.

We have had the camper for 1 year and so far it has been great. The camper pulls great and so far every thing works all the slide goes out and in just fine. We know that the camper is well built and looks great.

Primetime SUCKS! Camper looks pleasant but the quality of this product is horrible and the manufacturer is well aware of problems with this model and do nothing to help the consumer. Shameful that manufactures can get away with robbing from the consumer.

First trip,p trap on outdoor kitchen not even hooked up (leak),paneling coming loose, staples at slide coming through carpet, bedroom leaking but was told no leak found, 3 times until I found soft flooring and tore it out to find what the dealership said they fixed was covered in mushrooms under the master bed and the floor, subframe You could tear out with your hands and manufacturer after months of calls declined fixing it and insurance won't because it's a defect , I was told by the dealership the seams were covered with plumbers putty on these and when asked why I wasn't told this when purchased they said it would've hindered a sale so thier selling crap and they know it stay away from forest river and primetime

I got this rv with high expectations as the brochure and sales touted, it was just great and huge quality control. NOT!, air cond. under powered (huge!)hello r and d department . I would have paid the xtra 1000 or 2 it took for a second unit on roof not to swelter , being this rv was not cheap by any stretch . Problem really came when a friend noticed when camping , water coming down outside edge of our super slide. It's 90 and no rain for a week. Air unit on roof running non stop condensates , a lot , runs down roof pitch towards gutters. Pools up slightly on roof ( which it shouldn't ),spills into gutters (like it should), holds up in very clean gutters until in waterfalls over side of camper then across slide and down side on ground, leaving black streaks as it travels. Problem diagnosed by me, huge bow in gutters at rear both side of trailer. So great it won't flow out gutter ends it just waterfalls over side . P.T said screw off ,your out of warranty by 11months and 1 week.(nice!). All junk .

Purchased this 2015 model late 2014 and have only one issue with it . The bedroom slide had a faulty motor on one side and was repaired beautifully by Camping World in Roseville ,Ca. The factory not only replaced the faulty motor , but both motors & controls were replaced and a 1/8" sheet of masonite was installed under the bed so the bed would slide easier in & out . They also replaced a door on the refer that had a small dent from transport to dealer .We have pulled the trailer in all types of weather , Good & Bad and tracks great , in the 3 years that we have owned it , we have put over 23,000+ miles on it ! and could not be happier !

I have had nothing but problems since we bought this. We bought it in the fall of 2014 and couldn't wait until the spring of 2015 to use it. We felt like royalty and even took it to a family reunion where everyone called it the Taj Mahal! Well that's when it started and hasn't stopped. The fireplace went, the front paint faded, a marker light just simply fell out! The fridge wouldn't switch from electric to propane. We had a bad regulator on our propane tank. I do have to say that the fireplace was replaced for free and the front repainted.....but as soon as Prime Times' 1 year warranty is up...you are dirt. We are now fighting to get a manufacturers defect fixed. The floor is rotting in one of the slide outs because of a faulty seal. The dealer I bought it from has a forever warranty when you bring it in yearly...which I do. Well the dealer Alpin Haus is amazing...Prime Time manufacturing not so much. This is their defect and they will not cover the labor (which was discounted by the dealer). I believe that if they are committed to Quality like the say and that customer satisfaction is number one.....they lie. For the $50k plus...you would think I could have a year free of problems...never again under the prime time umbrella of manufacturers.

Worst experience ever on a purchase. Where does the Quality Control come in? 3 MONTHS OLD and Anything and everything that you can think of is wrong with this RV. Starting from bad paint job and details,so called hydraulic jacks are so loud and unstable , they even pop when RV has been set for a while, don't even have to move around and they pop so bad that it's scary that RV might collapse, roof had to be sealed, interior trimming falling apart and patchy work, cable coax were all shorted out, exterior door compartments leaked when it rained, list goes on and on. Sad thing is that we are full timers and its so easy for one to say just to bring it in for service. Not that easy when your still have to work for a living. I would NEVER recommend this RV to anyone.

We purchased the Sanibel because of its large open floor plan, classy look and the fact that it was advertised as a full time living unit. We have rebuilt the whole unit in the first two years of having it. I have a book of all the issues inside and out of what has been done. The business we purchased it from bent over backwards to try to keep us on the road. PT honored the warranty, even extended it for 6 more months. Fact of the matter is, we are now owners of a lemon we live in full time and will probably never get out of it what we will have in it. Hopefully it will hold up without any major issues, if its been rebuilt properly. Never buy a Sanibel. Buyer Beware!! I have to say that we probably got more out of the company that some of you did from what I've read. You have my sympathies.

150% junk! Trailer looks good but keep finding problems. Shower door shattered. Theater Lane dual recliners material is peeling off, soon they will be bare. Had to replace mattress after 6 weeks. Primetime said would only exchange for same kind, offered to pay difference, they said no. We bought a new one. Dinette chairs cushions breaking while sitting. Made of some kind of cheap cardboard. The floor plan is great, as roomy as the fifth wheel. Quality is better than all the travel trailers my wife and I looked at in this class and price. When towing you almost forget you're pulling an RV until you look in your rearview mirror. Setting up is a snap with the push button controls.

My wife is happy with the 324RST Lacrosse and if she is happy, life for me is happy. We have no complaints. 5 Stars from us!

Great for 1st 3 years then discovered 6 cracks in the nose cone. Response from Prime Time - not their problem. 2 days later discovered rotten floor on living area slide. It seems the tape was split and allowed water in where it was held. We were able to put our hands through the floor it was so bad. Apparently the life span on these trailers is 3 years. Complete garbage. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MANUFACTURER.

This RV is a lemon. We have had several issues -- trim falling off wall, cabinet door falling off -- radio does not work -- refrigerator light does not work -- had to replace DVD and TV because of inferior quality -- Artic package is terrible, have to run both AC to keep temperature fairly comfortable -- speakers not labeled -- do not have a designated bedroom speaker, bedroom also plays outside. We had the RV back to dealer and they kept it a month and did not repair any issues. DO NOT EVER BUY A PRIME TIME PRODUCT. Apparently we are not the only unsatisfied owners.

This 5th wheel has been the best towing I have ever towed. Light weight trailer and has lots of room inside to move around. We only used it for about 6 weeks total and had all good times. longest trip was to go to Florida, and we got to see a lot of states on the way. Getting older and not sure of travel is the only reason I am going to give it up. Nice to have everything we needed with us when traveling. It is like being home.

We purchased this camper last March and we have had nothing but trouble with it. It has been at the dealer numerous times for repairs. The kitchen slide floor has been replaced twice, the kingpin cover replaced twice, the ground wire for the holding tanks was not connected at the factory, the valve for the waste water drains would not close completely, the fender by the entrance door had to be replaced because of wind driving down the road broke it, the flooring in the kitchen had to be replaced due to the slide dragging. It has been at the dealership for over 4 months since we purchased it and is still there waiting on warranty! Don't ever buy one!

I purchased a Spartan 3210 because of the storage and the size of the living area. I'm a fulltime RVer, so took the 5th Wheel out on the road.

1) First thing I noticed was a serious leak under the shower, leaking into the storage area. The floor of the shower was not properly supported, used starfoam as support.

2) Then had major leaks in both windows of the garage, as well as the ramp leaked. Had to use towels to help stop the leak.

3) The chain that helps pull the seat up in the garage, one has already broken.

4) The strap that supported the exhaust pipe for the generator under the carage broke, replaced it.

5) The rubber insulation around the main push out has come lose.

6) The brace supporting the fender wheel that keeps it from flapping around has broken.

7) I turned on the heater, and suddenly sawdust started coming up from the vents along with the smell of burning wood. I took the vents off, discovered large amounts of sawdust contained in the vents. They never cleaned out the vents after the cut the wholes.

This is all covered under warranty work, but getting Prime Time to help fix it, well, that's another story. Yeah, they provided a number to a local dealer, but no one has time and I live in my RV so can't just pull it over to a center.

Overall, I have discovered the workmanship has just been shotty. I would not recommend the Spartan 3210 nor would I recommend anything Prime Time or Forest River puts together.

Please feel free to contact me for further details.

We have taken trailer out 9 time\'s and had to taken back 5 times. We are on our 3rd slide out motor, front cap paint faded in first year, water leak from roof. Last trip we had a electrical short that melted slide out switch, filled inside with smoke and did not trip breaker or blow a fuse. Our dealer manager after this return told us it was a good thing we bought extended warranty. They have a great service dept that takes care of us getting it fixed and getting claims paid. We feel like we are rolling dice everytime we take it out on which slide is going to go out and how much we are pay to get some one to come out to close it. Great looking trailer and has nice features but slde out motors are junk.

The absolute worst purchase I have made. First year stayed in shop more than we used it. A/C still does not cool coach, especially in front bedroom. Fridge just craped out. Could not fill frsh water tank. They even labeled the t.v. connections wrong. Bunk slide motor kept blowing fuses. Seal was ripped off from under bunk slide. Black tank flush still will not work properly. Dealer blocked off one flume of a/c to try and direct ait up front. Ended up blowing out a/c unit. Replaced with a 15000 unit, which was already supposed to have been on the camper as advertised. Still, does not cool properly. List goes on and on. Like the floor plan, hate the camper. Stay away from Prime Time. They do not care about the product and do not care about consumer nor will they stand behind what they make. Tried working with them. Got no where. Didn't care. Don't ever buy this type of camper.Bought my camper brand new had nothing but problems the first day. Sofa bed wouldn't come out all the way, table was cut to short, table seat was not put together all the way the a/c was not working. I took it back to the dealer and even though i have a warranty i still had to pay.Now today i pack the camper up and the family to go camping for the holidays we get out there and guess what the a/c not working. We only went camping 3 times and the a/c is broken again. They have to keep my camper for 2 weeks because they have to order a a/c unit cause they don't have any and they couldn't fix mine.
So now i have to pay for this and i had to take a lost on my reservations at the campsite and a upset family. Never buy this type of camper....

This is the absolute worst RV we have ever owned. We bought it about 2 hrs away from where we live which was our 1st mistake because it spends more time in the shop than we have it, and that means a 4 hr round trip every time. It looks beautiful inside but what you see is not what you get and even though we bought it new and bought the extended warranty , the manufacturer will not fix the problems. The first time we took it out, our friends noticed straight cuts going all the way down the vinyl. They obviously did it when they cut the carpet on it, but said we did it and would not fix it. Stove was unleavel, brace under microwave broke, TV quite working, handles to empty tanks all broke, plastic fenders cracked, paint oxidized, slide out quite and had to have 4 people push it in just to make it home, tv antenna wouldn't close. Now, the leaf springs are flat and that's going to cost us 550.00 because their extended warranty doesn't cover that. We paid $35,000 for this camper. We have used it 8 times since buying it, 6 of those times, only going 20 mls from home. Once went 150 mls away and once from Ok. To New Mexico. Don't make the same mistake. Don't buy anything from PrimeTime .

Bought this Crusader 294 fifth wheel instead of a Flagstaff with similar floorplan and what a mistake ... a big one.

Every slide seal has failed and some replaced 3-times already in the first year... Primetime has stood behind RV warranty the issues we've had should not be happening.

Other than very poor design on all slide seals the interior trim has been popping off one by one.

The main vertical trim piece for fridge slide was actually too long from the start & hit on the floor & kept bending out >>> that took 3-visits to fix.

We love the floor plan & how the interior looks on the inside >>> if RV breaks again or we have more issues this year it will be traded it at whatever the loss.

Buy a Flagstaff or Rockwood which are immensely better engineered & built

Like everyone else that has written reviews on these rv's, we end up fixing something everytime we take it out. Recently we started on a trip and got about 75-100 miles from home and had a blow out on one of the tires. It made a mess of the fender on that side of the rv and we had just replaced the screws on that side that were falling out. About five miles from our first stop we had another blow out. Other side. Guess what? No spare tire. Left camper in a church parking lot, bought five new tires. Faucet in kitchen leaked. Bottoms in cabinets fell out. Cornices over women fell on first trip, shower leaked, brake connection from camper to truck quit working, the list just goes on and on. We hoped like most new purchases that a few kinks had to be worked out, then everything would be fine. Wrong!! I miss my 30ft 2002 Keystone Couger. The best layout ever for an RV.

Livability only a 3 because we haven't got to use it yet. It has been at the dealers for repairs. Quality a 1 it has a couple of major items, the leveling system is bad, the fuel tanks are 20 gallons they should be 30's as standard, and a dozen lesser problems. I think it will be a nice unit if we ever get it fixed. It does pull nice, i pulled it home then back to the dealers.

After reading all the other reviews, I just had to wright about our experience. My wife and I just absolutely fell in love with the floor plan and storage of the 3551. Now I wished it had more years on the bumper to bumper warranty.I have fixed alot of my issues myself. The biggest issue we have is the kitchen slide tearing the floor and tearing the underside of slide. We have had back to dealer 4 times for the same issue. If anyone knows of a good Lemon lawyer please let me know. The quality of this unit is lower than a 1 star. The dealer tells me they can only fix what the manufacturer will let them and approve it to be replaced.I hate to say it but stay away from Primetime. When we went to go camping several weeks ago, we found water damage in the back room. There was about a 1/2 inch of water in the floor vent, and the cabinets are damaged and warped for about 6 inches from the floor. Both cabinets smell very moldy. Not sure when water damage occurred prior to us finding it. After doing a leak test at the dealer/service center, two windows, the door, all the slide out seals,as well as seals around the running lights were found to be leaking. As the trailer is only 2.5 years old, this is very disturbing to me. I called Prime TIme several times about this problem, and no one called me back for 2 weeks. Finally, someone called back to let me know as the trailer is out of warranty, they will do nothing!!! This was a very expensive repair, and I would think that a vehicle made to be outdoors and handle the weather would do so for many years. I had to give the quality and manufacturer 1 star to get this to go thru, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten any!

Love the layout of the camper. Love the many large windows.
HOWEVER.... replaced air conditioner TWICE- not under warranty. Multiple leaks in bathroom under sink. Fireplace had to be fixed. And... the Front End Cap looks like it is 10 years old. Keep camper covered when not in use (use roughly 4-6 times a year for 3-5 days each time) and wash/polish/buff on a regular basis. Have to wax and buff Front End Cap every 3 months minimum to keep fading and hazing from showing as bad.

Bought this unit in September 1914, and to date , we are more than pleased with all it's specs. Our only problem is ,we bought it at dealer and stored it that week for 9months. We have since returned in 1915 and1916 for 12 weeks each time. In 1916 the auto fan packed up under warranty and we were told it would be fixed on our return. Whilst washing the rig before all weather storage I noticed the paint on the top of the nose cone has turned grey. All the emails and methods of contact with dealer have not been acknowledged and it would seem that their backup service is a shambles. be warned , once you are out the gate your forgotten, shame , such a great fifth wheel

The entire experience with this coach has been very poor. Warranty issues took forever and ever. Now to top it off our coach is 28 months old and the front nose paint is faded with terrible marks on it .It is caused by improper painting. Prime time will not pay for this . The trailer looks ten years old. Some one need to start a class action suit against this company as I have learned recently that many of there trailers are doing this also.

Purchased new 2/2014 - out of the 1120 days we have owned it the trailer has been at the dealer for warranty repairs 206 days. Terrible craftsmanship from the factory. The paint is now turning white and Primetime refuses to fix it. A customer service rep at Primetime admitted to me that Primetime knew of the paint problem with their vendor but will not repaint the rigs that are now having paint problems. Our RV is definitely a lemon. We've had problems with the fender skirt, the rubber gaskets, the jacks, the slides, holding tanks, water pump, electrical outlets, ceiling falling down in the closet and that's just to name a few. Do your research before buying anything by Primetime.

Where to start, so many issues with this new 5th wheel,
Bathroom sink faucet so close to the back of the sink you could not get your hands under the water, the stream of water barely made into the rim of the sink.
This is supposed to be the winter model super insulated, the front of the trailer at the head of the bed and no insulation at all.
The electric leveling jack have been nothing but problems, sometimes they work fine then the next time they error out and it is a nightmare to get them rest to work properly.
We have approximately 24000 mile now on our 5er and even today after a day on the road you have to clean the sawdust off the bed that falls from the ceiling from antenna handle ceiling penetration.
The spot for the wash machine in the garage requires that the wash protrudes into the exterior doorway about 4". Real good engineering.
I wore out a set of tires in 12,000 miles because the wheels were never aligned properly at the factory. The tires were over 3/8" out of alignment. To date the factory still denies that there was noting wrong. I took it to two factory service dealers and both had no idea how to even check the alignment. The second one agreeed there was something seriously wrong. I finally found a private company that had the knowledge and experience to fix the problem at my cost. $600.00 to straighten the and align the axles and $1,000.00 for new tires.
The exterior side skirting by the wheels has cracked from vibration.
The kitchen sink has radial cracks in the fiberglass and has started leaking.
The heat vents were totally full of sawdust and I had to clean them myself.
The propane switchover valve is mounted so that it will only rotate to one tank.
Shower drain would continue to leak even after two trips to the service center, I finally had to fix it myself.
Sawdust had plugged up the gas burner for the refrigerator when it was new.
All these and other issues were reported to the factory and for most of them they always said it was per spec or something I had done to cause the problem.
This company needs a class action lawsuit brought against them for the poor workmanship them and nonresponciveness to issues.

This is my 3rd fiver adn fifth camper. Best one I have ever owned. Had a few problems but all were resolved by the dealer or by me without too much problem. Lived in it for over 2 years and am now using it for vacations and traveling since I retired. Tows great but I do need to add a second AC unit as the one is not enough in the hot summer sun. I would purchase this unit again and I would go to ThreeWay Camper in Marietta, GA to do it. Wonderful dealer and the entire staff is tremendous.

We purchased this RV in May of 2014 so the experience is new, but it has met or exceeded our expectations. We enjoy the RV life and this RV does it to our specifications. There are only 2 of us so I'm sure that makes a difference. I would highly recommend this RV. We really like that all three sides are open with windows in the back. The Sanibel has lots of extras built-in which is another plus.....

Where to begin. Bought in early 2015. So many problems that ended up taking to Elkhart Indiana for work. Over $8000.00 later we still have problems. There is no quality control when producing this product. Not only the camper is poor quality but the norelco refrigerator had to be replaced and the couches are showing wear and we are not fulltimers. The front cup had to be replaced so after only a year it is showing oxidation. We have had 5 Forest River products and never have had these kind of problems. Warren Buffet needs to look into his Prime Time investment. Our Sanibel is a real lemon. The layout is comfortable

We purchased our Sanibel in November 2014 at Campers Inn in Leesburg Fl. It was the exact floor plan we had been looking for. After camping in it for 3 nights we found some things that needed to be fixed. We took it back to Leesburg in January and they replaced a ceiling fan that was not installed properly and did a couple of minor repairs. They recommended that we take it to Campers Inn in Mocksville NC for the remainder of the work because we would be in NC for the summer and Leesburg did not have enough time to order parts and do the repairs before we left. In April we took it to Mocksville and left it for 3 weeks and no repairs were done. It fell through the cracks on getting parts ordered. By the way one of the parts was another fan since the last one was also not installed properly. We picked it up without the work being done because we had a 3 week trip planned. While on our trip we blew 2 new Good Year tires and tore up the side of the camper. Took camper back to Mocksville June 16 and still no warranty parts. By this time we had more to add to be fixed. Good Year agreed to pay for damages and replaced all the tire. It stayed in Mocksville until the end of August to get the repairs done. Still had 2 more warranty issues to be done but they had to get approvals. We took the camper to the beach in September and returned with 13 more items to be fixed including another bad fan. Took the camper back to Mocksville on September 29 and it is still there. The front cap on the camper is bad. It is 2 different colors and not shiny. Roger at Prime Time says you can't see it in the pictures so it is not covered. We are at the end of our rope over this camper. We were told after we bought it that Forest River who built it is hard to deal with. Too late we find this out. We should have stayed with Jayco. Never had any problems with them. They seem to care more about their customers. Forest River seems to throw these campers together and too bad you are stuck with it.

I absolutely love the floor plan and the RV. Bought in Aug. 2014 and used extensively for 9 months there after. Stayed parked from April of 15 and used a couple time a month. Has developed a roof leak among other quality issues that they have agreed to fix. In for repair they tell me that the bedroom slide floor is rotten by my lack of maintenance on the slide seals. There is no where in the owners manual that I could find which describes routine maintenance or a schedule for such on the slide seals. Prime time has rejected my warranty claim. Quality control from the manufacturer very poor in my opinion and very disappointed in the service. My RV has been in the shop going on three months now and still incomplete

I was impressed with the quality of the overall workmanship. The 5th wheel has an efficient layout. There is abundant storage both inside and out. The interior is nicely decorated and actually quite comfortable. The large windows bring in plenty of natural light and great views. I did have to add my own wall clock in the main living area and installed my own flatscreen TV in the bedroom. The bedroom entertainment system does not shutdown with the battery disconnect. This can lead to low battery amperage. The heating and air-conditioning work well. I like having individual gray tanks for the kitchen and bathroom. It tows very well and has very good turning radius. The exterior gel coat keeps the unit clean and shiny. This is our forth camper and we have been very happy with the operation and performance of our Prime Time Crusader Touring Edition.

We bought this new in Sept 2013.The rear jacks went quickly on warranty and then again after warranty. Both jacks were full of rust. After some searching found suppliers were changed and BOOT to protect jacks from elements were eliminated and a cheaper supplier found. Jacks have gone again. Major discoloration on nose cone after 1 year and no warranty. Apparently the supplier of these did not put proper gel coat or sim. and ours now looks like it is 10 years old. Gone through 3 tires and have been told the axel is bent and that they put cheap ones on to save a few bucks. Probably not on warranty. Definatly wouldn\'t buy another

My wife and I have owned our camper for approx.. four years. Before we drove it off the lot they had to fix the running lights. The first year we took it into the dealer for numerous issues to include wall paneling loose, two times for sewage fumes in trailer and other issues. After the first year we got a water leak. It was coming from the A/C condensate running down the gutter on left hand side and the water migrated into the camper around the down spout. It appeared to be a manufacture defect but they did not cover it and I paid out of pocket. After that I noticed a bulge above my slide out. Took the camper in and they said the header beam had shifted. The beam is only put in with staples. It was a easy fix but costly because they had to remove the siding to get to it. I still haven't repaired this due to the cost of around $1200's. I call the manufacture and they would not cover this. It does not appear to be getting worse so I will live with it awhile. Now, I have my water leak again in the same place as before. I put down some sealant and I hope I fixed it. I need to take it to the shop and have some repairs done on the exterior/water damage but thinking about doing it my self, Plus I have a small water leak at my sewage dump valve, gray water it appears and only when draining. I really like our camper and love the floor plan but I would find it hard to recommend Prime time to anyone. when you pay the money for a camper you should get a quality product.

We bought Our Prime Time Avenger in Nov.2014, our first outing we were three showers in and discovered the shower drain had never been connected to the plumbing. All of our shower water ran into the belly insulation of the trailer. We also found that the heat vent in the bedroom had never been connected and the furnace was blowing into the belly of the trailer. Over the next year we went back and forth with our dealer and Prime Time on two issues,
1; when it rained and the awning was closed we had water coming in under our kitchen counter. After 5 trips to the dealer and finally being told it was from the water heater, and the dealer resealing it, I found that the gasket around the window over the kitchen sink was install upside down! The expansion gap was at the top. I filled the gap with a flexible sealant and I haven't had a leak since. But my cabinets have water damage. Both of our exterior doors had to have the windows resealed.
2 The door to our shower was cut 1/2 inch out of square. We had to lift up on it to close the door but moving around in the shower made it pop open. After a month and a half, Prime Time told our dealer's service manager to "deal with it". I told them to let Prime Time know I was done dealing with it and would turn all my paperwork over to a lawyer and they could "Deal with it." Two weeks later we had a COMPLETE new shower enclosure.
We no longer get excited about using this camper, we just wait for something else to go wrong. Our last Forest River trailer was a great camper and we would still have it if it had not been totaled in a storm. but we will never own anything made buy Prime time again and will think hard about Forest River.

This is the biggest piece of garbage I ever invested in. I realize things work lose and wear and tear but these problems aren't that. Season 2013

Gouge marks on the underside floor of the dining room slide out. (Warranty dealership fixed)

Lump under rubber roof of dining room slide out. (Warranty dealership fixed, roof wasn't thoroughly swept off at manufacturing plant before roof installed)

Side storage compartment door latch didn't work. (Warranty dealership fixed)

Refrigerator door walnut panel fell off. ( I fixed myself)

Season 2014

Dining room table warped. (Warranty dealership ordered another)

Season 2015 Warranty expired end of May

Table is warped again. I didn't contact dealership because I had it fixed myself in 2016.

Bad oxidation of nose cap. Repainted. (dealership helped me get that taken care of, Thankfully no charge)

Cabinet doors sticking and rubbing. (Fixed myself)

Molding throughout bulging/popping off. (Fixed myself)

Season 2016

Closet slide out floor is damaged due to water infiltration.

Dining room slide out, outside walls showing water infiltration.

Shower stem leaking due to cracked plastic fixture. (fixed myself)

Bed hinge screws pulled out of particle board by gas struts because of poor engineering and craftsmanship. Wood screws won't hold over 100lbs of strut force in 3/8 particle board. (Fixed myself using better hinges and made sure screws had something to bite in.)

Outside skin rear is separating from vehicle causing bubbles.

AC not blowing cold air as of middle of September.

We would like to thank you for your recent E-mail and for being a part of our Prime Time family. Thanks to the valuable input from customers such as yourself we can continue to increase the quality of our line of products and customer satisfaction. Your concern provides us the opportunity to apply due diligence to approaching future issues. Prime Time takes great pride and responsibility in our product, from the production line to the customers who select them, you are a valuable asset to our company. We are sorry that you have had issues with your unit and see that we have in fact honored and stood firmly behind the repairs on the unit within the warranty period. I do show that the warranty period expired on 5/29/2014 therefore Prime Time mfg. will not participate in present nor future warranty repair on the unit. As a valued customer we will continue to provide dealer location, technical support, parts advise, and customer service in the future. Thank You for your letter, concern, patience, and loyalty.
This is why PT only offers a ONE year warranty without the option to extend it 3 to 5 years. They know they are producing junk and would go bankrupt fixing anything within a 3 to 5 year time period. Do not buy anything from Prime Time Forest River!

We bought this fifth wheel with the intentions of living in it when we retired the floorplan is excellent it has a lot of storage it is very nicely finished it has a lot of extras that make it feel like home I really like the big bedroom I also like the Jack and Jill door for the bathroom the kitchen is perfect I love the pantry but I do wish it was a little bit deeper there are lots of cupboards and lots of drawers lots of storage almost like in my house the living area is perfect because when I'm in the kitchen I still am included in the party that's going on in the living room where they're watching TV I have unscrewed my table from the floor and turned it the other way so that it's not poking out so far and I like that a lot better there is a lot of storage above the chairs the only thing that I really don't like about this trailer is that we have to move the chairs in order to put the slide outs in I would recommend a couch there if it's possible but I don't think they make one that's not too white

I wrote a review not to long ago. The saga continues with problems with this Touring Crusader. We have been in NC to visit my husband's son on oir return from Florida. We stay right on his property . We have water and electric hookup. Took the 5th wheel today to dump the tanks and the long aluminum stem that is hooked to the grey tank for the bathroom broke off so the tank didn't get emptied at dealership. Brought it back to his sons and is fixing it. He said it broke because od the fresh water tank was sitting on it and should have been fastened up so it didn't sit on the valve stem. I asked him if it was a design flaw and he said it was just poor workmanship. Thank goodness he knows how to fix stuff, but maybe if he didn't we would be rid of this 5th wheel. Prime Time division of Forest River, you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this 5th wheel to leave yourfactory. All I can say is Buyer Beware.

We bought our Crusader Touring Edition on the spring of 2013. We had a 2003 29.5 foot Keystone Cougar with 1 slide and decided to buy a larger 5th wheel as we went south for the winters and wanted something larger. We liked the layout of the Crusader so we bought one. We got about 10 miles down the road on I96 from the dealership , people where honking and waving at us. My husband decided he'd better get off at the next exit and see if there was a problem. One of the tires had come apart and was hanging on the rim. We should have turned around and returned this 5th wheel. Had we only known what we were instore for. The 1st time we returned it for repairs we had a 2 page list of problems, some minor a few major. The refrig was cooling properly, the trim at the ceiling was pulling away from the wall, the retractable tv was not going down even ( worse now since repair ) the shower doors were not aligned, the automatic leveling system didn't level properly and still doesn't,and the automatic read for the tanks doesn't read properly and to this day shows the black tank as half full. We did not buy the extended warranty which we now regret. Over the past 4 years the clips to open the windows have broke, our dvd player no longer works, the floor in the kitchen has gotten sponging when you walk on it. The motor for the living room slide fell off from its mount. We have had to have the outside steps welded back together several times. In 2015 we were traveling to a birthday party and had a blow out on one of the tires, my husband stopped and put the spare tire on. We were about 20 miles from our destination, heard a loud boom and there was metal, rubber, skirting flying all over the highway on a Friday of labor day weekend. 2 tires blew out ( my husband always checked the tires before we went any where). He had to drive it to a nearest place where it was safe to stop ( orange barrels along the shoulder). Rims ruined, no rubber left, a jack missing and wheel cover missing. A truck tire service came and replaced 2 tires but the other 2 tires where ready blow and he recommended we didn't drive very far, his store was down the road about a mile so we left it there until we could contact our insurance company and the dealership. $5000 not to mention the price of 5 new tires and 5 months later we got our 5th wheel back with the still spongy kitchen floor. Planning on heading south next week, hopefully
I went several weeks ago out to the 5th wheel to clean and remove things we didn't need in there, opened the bedroom slide, no big suprise, it wouldn't close all the way. My husband got it pushed back in . I forgot to mention that we have had trouble with the living room and kitchen cabinets not wanting to stay shut even after repairs, that's one of the minor problems, I just go around and make sure they are all closed before closing the slides, knocked one door off with the slide taught me. My husband has been able to fix many of the other numerous problems we've had since the warranty has expired, but enough is enough. He said he has never seen such poor workmanship. So buyer beware is all I can say.

Great Travel Trailer, very open and spacious, comfortable. Stays warm in the winter with the underbelly heater and in the summer keep it cooled down with dual AC units. My wife and I have enjoyed the last two PrimeTime RV's we have owned. Not a single complaint.

This is an excellent travel trailer. The outdoor kitchen is amazing to have if you love to cook. Having the 2 door into the bathroom is a lifesaver to keep the camper clean and for when we have muddy feet and muddy paws :)

So far so good. Only 2 problems. Kitchen slide tore the floor and it has taken almost a year to get it repaired and the front cap color is fading near the roof.

We've had nothing but problems since we bought it. Wheel skirts are cheaply made and break off in transit. The water pump continually has issues. Our electrical panel and the primary plug in cord has issues and although electrical, it is not considered electrical under the warranty. The slider had issues as well as the switch to operate it. The black and grey water outlets/pumps have had issues. The awning and awning arms have had issues and have been repaired twice. The hitch jack had to be replaced. The stabilizer jacks, all of them, had to be replaced. Interior issues, staples popping out, things falling off, breaking off in transit. Lighting issues on the inside. I could go on an on, the never ends. Now we're stuck with financing on something not worth ten cents on the dollar. We're on the road now and had to stop and spend an hour on the side of the interstate to tie down an awning arm that broke in the wind and had our awning flapping. Thanks to a trucker who noticed and honked to get our attention. Primetime/Forest River makes good looking products but they ABSOLUTELY SUCK in the execution of those products in regards to quality, value and longevity. We had problems the first time we used the trailer and keep spending money to continually fix issues that both the manufacturer, the warranty company and the Retailer always seem to find a way NOT to cover it. We most likely after this last incident will be suing ALL of them...and no, we don't make that statement lightly, we fully intend to sue them at this point. DO NOT, NOT, NEVER, BUY A Primetime/Forest River product. That's our two cents.

This was my first new camper. Purchased it in 2013 it has been nothing but a headache. Very very poorly designed. Corners were cut and they hide it behind cheap barely attached panelling. Leeks dust like crazy. Water pump lines leaked from new. Thermostat was replaced 2 months after owning. Wears out 4 wheels ever 800-1000 kms. I will never in my life own another prime time tracer! JUNK!!! Can't wait to get a new one

Wow...after reading all of these terrible reviews about Prime Time, I have to say that I find it hard to believe that this company is still in business!! We bought our RV used, one year old at the time...I should have contacted the previous owner before purchase! Outdoor kitchen leaked from day one...and the dealership had no idea how to stop the leak...their remedy was to glue a piece of tire rubber above the outdoor kitchen door as flashing! Another place that we took it to said ALL outdoor kitchens leak...then why have that feature!?! My husband finally took matters into his own hands and recaulked the area...so far, no more leaking. There have been other issues...Coleman AC fan kept getting stuck, had that replaced! I have to say that so far it seems to me that RV manufactures and dealerships are a racket! They always find excuses to not honor a warranty...save yourself some money and don't buy the extended coverage as you will have to fight to get them to cover anything, and they usually win! The camper is now, thanks to my husband, in great shape, and ready to be sold...the camping life is not for us, thanks to the shoddy workmanship of Prime Time RV's!!!!!!

Had a spongy floor manufacturer said wouldn\'t be covered must be water damage. We pulled up the linoleum no water damage. Went thru the underbelly to find out the floor joists were spaced 48 inches apart. The floor was made from 1/8 inch paneling sandwiching 2 inch foam. Pretty sure that\'s why the floor got soft.

Trailer has been good from the start and we have pulled this trailer lots. Could use a second air conditioner and would have liked better quality foam in dinette. The rear couch needed a little brace to keep level.

Love the rig. Tows well, wife can set it up, just
needs help with hooking up tow mech. Electric jacks and awning. Three slides gives you plenty of space, we like table and chairs set up. Slide in bedroom great for hanging clothes or shelves, plenty of space. Like open kitchen, nice pantry. No problems or complaints so far.

This travel trailer is large enough to fit your family comfortably yet light enough to pull just about anywhere. We bought it new and enjoyed many camping trips with the grandkids. They loved the perks like watching their favorite DVD's in bed before going to sleep. We loved being able to sit outside under the 16 foot awning, even when it rained. This is well made and has held up very well for 6 years!

This is an excellent RV. It’s built far more solid than most others in its class - just compare by banging on the walls of the slide outs and you’ll be amazed at the difference. Fully reinforced wheel wells prevent expensive system repairs from damage due to a tire blow out. Manufacturer several times sent small replacement parts (switches, tail lights, etc) for free despite being long outside warranty. Easy to tow without needing slider style hitch - even kept 2 bikes in the back of the pickup while towing. Easy to set up and put away with everything powered (levelers, stabilizers, slideoits, awnings). Excellent use of space with roomy living areas due to the generous 3 slide outs and nice wide window views. Good storage space inside and out and good tank capacities. Traveled all over the country and only had to replace the leveler jacks and a bath fan motor. Fridge and heat/aircon work great. Our years of experience left us with nothing but good things to say. I’d buy the same unit again in a heartbeat!

I work out of town so I pretty much live it in 4-5 days a week and have been doing that for 6 years straight. I had a few warranty issues but the factory took care of them promptly. I haven't had no real major issues with the unit compared to how much I use it. One main issue is that the water lines freeze quickly in the outside kitchen and those lines also what feed the toilet. Over all I've been very pleased.

We are happy with our Tracer. We did not overpay for what we got in return. We take it out about 5-6 times per year. 8 years and still in exceptional shape. I see other complaints over very minor details such as trim falling off. That is part of camping. If "campers" can't handle the minor standard maintenance that comes with travel trailer ownership, they should maybe consider other forms of travel than camping, rather than giving a poor review.
