Poorly made. All 3 slide out roofs have huge wrinkles in them. Told this is normal. It is obvious the roofing material was never pulled tight and tacked down. Bathroom shower drain pipe collapsed requiring us to frame the floor of the shower because there is nothing holding it up. The Air Conditioner did not work and the main thermostat only works when it feels like it. The furnance does not work. There are loose wires not capped in the furnance area and NONE of the duct work is connected. When taking the main slide out for only the second time, it shifted so much that the left side upper does not touch the flap. The dealer is a joke and continues to say we are wrong and inexperienced RV owners. This is our 4th Rv. I have never owned a Jayco before and as soon as I can dump this o e I will. Buyer beware

Absolutely awesome Toy Hauler. Every trailer is going to have its issues. but the biggest and most important thing is that jayco stands behind their products. They help with warranty like no other dealership. They truly stand behind their products

We had owned 2 RVs previous to the Pinnacle and I was not a happy camper. They were large, but felt too confining and, being used to a stick-built, just too much hassle. I walked in the the 37MDQS and my jaw dropped. The layout and the HIGH ceilings make it feel very spacious. The private office with built-in desk is da bomb. Makes it feel like a multiple room house. The dual recliners..... ultra comfortable. I previously would have judged built-in massage & heat as "gimmicky" but these are great. And it's a totally handsome place to live. Pretty cool. The lighting options are fun too. I like it!

My jayco north point 377RLBH is an absolute piece of shit. I bought this thing brand new and our entire vacation was ruined by it. First, the battery wasn’t charging so so it was useless and the entire vessel wasn’t working even when plugged up. When we would charge the battery with our truck one of slides wasn’t working. We took it in to get it repaired and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the slide. So at this point the battery is finally fixed on the last day of our cross country trip but the slide in our kitchen is non functioning. Next the water decided to quit working but it still worked in the closet near the washing machine hook up and water shot out all over our entire closet, completely drenching our clean clothes and shoes. We had that thing packed out with clothes for me, my husband and our two kids. I’ll never understand how you can spend 60k on a something and it doesn’t even work after 2 weeks of owning it. This has been the biggest mistake of our lives and I’ve never seen my husband cry until this horrific trip. We were so excited about this and hand plans to make it a magical experience for us and our children but it has been an absolute nightmare. All of our time has been spent trying to fix the 1,000 things that are wrong with the RV and being on the phone with customer service. We have spent almost no time together as a family and everyone is hot and sad. I cannot believe that jayco puts these products out for sale. They are absolute peices of **** and their customer service is not helpful and very difficult to get in touch with.

This RV is a piece of junk that was purchased brand new. We have stayed in it for (2) months and the self leveling system no longer works, the shower head was screwed to the fiberglass wall of the shower with wood screws (and of course fell off), the vacuum went out, the self closing drawers have broken, the oven does not light without basically using a blow torch to get it to light, along with numerous other issues. Buying this RV was the biggest mistake I have made in a very long time. I would like to just haul it back to the dealership and let them have it back. All I can say is DON'T BUY A JAYCO RV. The fact that the shower head was attached to the shower with wood screws instead of a $5 piece of wood blocking or something speaks volumes about the quality of Jayco products. There is no doubt that the next major breakdown is just around the corner. We have (2) months left to stay in our current locations, and the rest of the time here will be like being on a sinking ship using my fingers and toes to plug all the holes...

Who was the genius that placed the 50 amp power hookup less than a foot above the exhaust port from the furnace? The power cord hangs down directly in front of the hot exhaust, causing a dangerous melting hazard. Sure hope there is a good fix for this problem. Winter is coming.

I bought the 2018 Jayco Greyhawk 30XP because I wanted the ability to pull 7500 lbs. and still have good handling and drivability. It is nearly impossible to find a class c unit that has a high tow rating without getting into a really expensive diesel.
When I was purchasing my unit I noticed it was missing the sink and stove covers, the dealership stated that they would order them (I still have not received the covers 6 months later). I took my new unit to my storage lot opened the slide and started the move in process. When I was finished and pulled the slide in, the slide caught on the linoleum and created a large tare. A few days later I went back to the unit to pack it with food for a trip and at which time I realized the refrigerator was not working, nor was the water pump. It was repaired and we left on our journey.
During the trip (Lake Powell) my unit started to flood. Not a small flood, my unit bathroom was holding about 2 inches of water (twice). I tried to sop up the water with towels but it continued to drip out of my unit for about 5 hours. The water also went into the body storage and drenched everything in there. I stopped using the water for the remainder of the trip and immediately took it to the dealership. They found that the piping under the unit had broken it half.
Other problems with the unit have been the door handle has locked us out of the main entrance because it does not latch right. The Garmin navigation intermittently works. On occasion it just shuts off and I cannot get it to turn back on until I give up. Also, the leveling system has not been accurately leveling the unit.
From the drivers perspective it handles like a dream. It is so easy to drive and even pulling a 6500 lb. boat. I do live in Colorado and have taken it over several mountain passes. Without towing it pulls a pass at about 45 mph. When towing it does around 30 – 35 mph. I am going to call the drivers cab a bit archaic because it does not have modern conveniences for a $100,000 unit. The stereo is terrible. I haven’t heard anything that sounded this bad since my 1979 Ford Pinto. They tell me to take in to Car Toys to upgrade the stereo. Did I mention that the stereo is integrated into the Garmin that works intermittently? I could upgrade the speakers and sound system and it would sometimes work. Lastly, the passenger seat only has one position because there is a couch behind it. The position is sitting almost straight up with your knees nearly pushed into the dashboard.
My unit has spent more time at the dealership than in my possession and it has been in a broken state in the entirety of the 6 months I have owned it. It is there right now and I just got an email from the dealership stating that the linoleum (which I ordered back in July) is no longer available. My advice is don’t purchase this unit until they work out all of the bugs. I have a feeling this is not the end of the problems….

We have had a lot of trouble with minor repairs as things keep failing apart, i.e., water pump stopped working, cabinet door hinge came loose, bedroom drawer bottom fell out, manual window blinds not retracting on side windows, and the Garmin radio stopped connecting to the remote and the navigation stopped working. Finally, the rear end has a high pitched whine at 63 to 68 mph and we can't find a Ford dealer that has a heavy lift to fix it. I would never buy another Precept

After 3 weeks out in trailer we have had water leaks, loose floorboards, crimped wiring under slide out, poor choices of lighting over dinning table and sewer drains valves turned the wrong direction. We have owned 12 trailer in our life and this is the worst we have have in 48 years. Right now I wouldn't ever buy another Jayco. There was no testing at the factory. All of these defects should have been caught before it was sold. Jayco's quality control sucks.

Took the RV out the next day after our purchase. The refrigerator Stopped working had to buy ice and ice chest for all the food, lost some food. We went out site seeing and came back to the medicine cabinet on the floor. The floor Is bubbled in spots. Jayco told the salesmen that they do not glue down the floor because it will crack in the cold. There is no pride in the workmanship in this RV. The cabinets are crooked. You can see daylight above the freezer.
And that’s not all.
AGAIN THE WORKMANSHIP IS BAD NO PRIDE IN THE WORK THEY DO

Great quality, well made and the Jayco warranty makes this a great camper. Easy to tow with any half ton. We tow with a Tahoe and have had no problems even in the mountains. This is a great family camper with plenty of space and a wonderful floor plan. Jayco makes a fabulous camper. We have had three!!

After owning a Jayco
Whitehawk for a couple years we decided to upgrade to a 5th wheel. The new pickup we liked had Ramboxes which we were told, was hard to make work with a 5th wheel hitch, so we took our test drive to Bish's RV in Meridian and talked with Jeff, who told us it could be done easily. We met with our RV salesman, Dinko Bosnjak to start our search for our perfect 5th wheel RV. After looking at what they had on the lot, we decided to order a new Jayco Eagle HT. The whole crew at Bish's have been wonderful to work with and their service is superb. Thank you for making this an enjoyable experience.

We ABSOLUTELY love the floorplan and the quality of craftsmanship, far out weighs some of the RV's we looked at. We are retirees and the ONLY reason we are selling is that its just too big for us. This is our first time owning an RV and should have started with a smaller one and then upgraded. Goes to show you are never too old to learn.

Worst piece of high priced junk that we have ever bought . We bought this motorhome in Tampa Fl We left Tampa 8:30 at night and soon realized that this RV had a very serious driveline problem that the Dealership should have know about . When driving above 60 mph the noise from the driveline sounded like we were driving on the rumble strips . This motorhome is very unstable and hard to drive also . The next morning we called Tampa RV and asked to get us someone to check out the RV. He gave us three places to call but no one could help us out . We called him back but got message machine and told him no one could help . HE did not call us back . We tried three camping worlds no help . Called three Ford Dealerships First two said no and finally found Davenport Iowa Courtesy Ford said they would work on it . 1500 miles latter we arrived at Courtesy Ford and they said this is a factory problem and will have to take to dealer in Indiana Jayco Factory . This is a problem that Jayco and the selling dealer already knew about and the RV was sold to us anyway . The People at factory are accommodating but this problem should not have been passed on the unsuspecting customer . It has caused us lost time, money and a lot of grief and stress. The driveline problem is only one of many problems that the selling dealer should have know about .
IF YOU BUY JACO PRODUCTS BUYER BEWARE. This is my last JAYCO product . The only thing that we can say good about this experience is guy at Jayco has been very helpful with the problems that we are having and is taking care of us. We always thought that Jayco products were top of the line but not now .

We purchased our trailer from a RV show. We were told that they had one on the lot that we could take right now and it had some upgrades to it that they would throw in. When we picked up the trailer I asked the person explaining everything if there were manuals for all the equipment and appliances. Was told they were all there. The first trip we went on we discovered that the radio did not work, no manual to explain how to work anything. The awning was torn. The storm door would not latch and did not fit tight. The front door was hitting the frame. The walls had white caulking all over that covered the staples holes. It looked bad. Outside the caulking was poorly done also. Large amount everywhere and not cleaned up very well. I took the trailer back in and told the service person about everything. He told me to live with the caulking problem. The radio would be replaced and the awning also. It was going to take 4 weeks to get parts in. I was hoping that we could go camping a lot but we now have to wait before we can going out. No very happy with the quality control on this trailer.

Very disappointed with our new Jayco. In the first 2 months we have had the dripline guard about the slide fall off; under the kitchen sink we had a leak in a spot that is not a joint; the awning/slide switches on the wall fell off only to have us discover that they aren't screwed in to a piece of wood. The screws only went through the 1/8" piece of wall covering; the shower stall leaked bad. Discovered it's because the glass door wasn't installed right leaving a 1/8" gap at the bottom and the water runs right out; the bed, after the 4th night sleeping on it, developed a huge permanent divot in it; the 3rd time turning the hot water heater on the ignitor board dies leaving us without hot water for the rest of our one week trip (no fun). Finding out there are lots of 2017 and 2018 trailers with water heater boards burning out. Very disappointed that we got rid of our 14 year old Jayco trailer that we NEVER had a problem with. Seems they're being made cheaper and cheaper all the time.

We've had our North Point for a little over a year and we love it. Having said that we've also had quite a few problems with it. Most have been very minor, vent flanges not fitting properly, USB ports not working, that kind of thing. After four trips the kitchen slide wouldn't extend. One of the motors went out on the side of the residential fridge. A little later time we discovered that the inverter has never worked. My wife kneeled on the bed to get something out of the bedroom when the slide was in and the bed actually came off the wall; four screws ripped out. The trim on both sides of a wall separating the kitchen and bathroom are coming off, which would indicate movement in the wall.
To be fair we've taken a couple of long trips over some not so nice roads, but you would expect a little more stability in something designed to travel and costing this much. I will say that we've never had a problem getting things fixed under warranty. Our dealer has been great handling the problems.
Overall, we really have enjoyed our North Point. It's definitely been our home away from the house we live in. I can't say that our experience has been the same or any more severe than others, but the quality of the unit we purchased could use some upgrades.

Purchased in September 2016 and immediately found that the refrigerator did not work on AC, water leak at the shower, the JBL radio put at static anytime DC power was available to the radio, and the chassis AC was overcharged. Got the refrigerator, water leak, and the chassis AC fixed first time in the shop under warranty. I'm still waiting on Jayco to get the JBL replaced with another brand radio to solve the static issue. Now that I listed the bad stuff, I can't say enough good stuff about the Seneca! Air ride makes the coach a sweet drive - very stable, even in a crosswind. Interior fit and finish is very nice with only a few minor adjustments needed to make everything work well. The Cummins ISB engine has outstanding fuel mileage (10+ mpg at 65-70 w/toad), but at the cost of quick power and acceleration. Even so, cruising at 65-70 is no problem on level highways, but it will slow when you hit the hilly roads. Overall, the Seneca is a great coach. This is my second Seneca. I had a 2006 35GS (similar interior layout on a Chevy C5500 chassis).

Very disappointed in this unit. We’ve owned this for 17 months and have had a number of issues. Middle jack fell off, awning pulled away from the trailer, outside fridge broke, leveling system sucks, dump tank issues on top of all the little things that needed to be fixed from cabinets to missing trim. I’ve contacted Jayco a few times but that didn’t get me far. Every time we go camping we are scared of what could happen next....ugh.

Nothing but problems since day 1. First campground we ever went to with it the one slide got stuck out. Camper sat at campground for over 4 months (while paying lot rent) while Jayco supposedly "tried" to find someone to come fix it. Eventually we had to take slide motors out and push the slide in manually, but still wasn't in all the way. Residential refrigerator fried, washer/dryer fried, inverter fried, fantastic fan fried and carbon monoxide detector goes off nonstop. Think something may be wrong with the wiring??!??!
Bunkhouse TV bounced off mount going down a smooth highway and broke trim of inside of slide when it fell, awning light practically melted and shriveled up, awning wouldn't roll in all the way. Side exterior metal panel came unbolted caught wind and bent up going down the road, tankless water heater never heated (Jayco laughed at us when we called about that). Whisper air conditioner never cooled. We had water leaking through 2 ceiling vents and 2 ceiling speakers onto our furniture and carpet soaked up so much moisture we had to pull it up. Grows mold in every corner of it, has water leaking down the interior wall when it rains, wallpaper is bubbling up badly due to moisture, power button fell off of TV in master bedroom and exterior wall between bunkhouse slide and kitchen slide is detaching from interior wall. Has about an inch gap you can see through the kitchen to the bunkhouse. Jayco's fix for that was to just put a few screws into the exterior.

This thing is 12 months old been in the shop for over 4 months and are nowhere near having anything fixed. The way they fix things and slap things back together I'm scared to death to get this thing back.

We paid over $65,000 for this and it's a total loss. We will never buy from Jayco again. My husband travels for work from coast to coast and tells all the other guys that travel with campers about Jayco. We've stopped several people from buying one and getting totally ripped off like we have!!!

If you're looking to purchase from this company save yourself the headache and DONT!!!

We purchased this Fifth Wheel in Dec . of 2016 for permanent living and have really enjoyed it however there have been some issues that have taken months to rectify and some still not rectified yet! We purchased this R V from dealer in Winter Park Fl. Here is the list: 1. The automatic fan in the kitchen area stopped working. Whole new fan ordered and fixed. 2. Large roll out awning still not fixed 3. Fan on 2nd bath broken still not fixed 3. Control panel needs replaced 4. Refrigerator not adjusted correctly left door slams open 4. It is such a waiting game to get these items fixed! I believe this is a very good product so I will write later when these items are completed! !

My wife & I fell in love with this Pinnacle after looking at 3 other $80,000 to $100,000 range 5th wheels. We took delivery of our model 36FBTS exactly 2 weeks ago and we have a list of issues: 1) broken light fixture, 2) broken antenna cable, 3) missing guides on sliding doors, 4) tires rubbing on top of wheel wells & slide outs, 5) toilet mounted too high & cracked the flange, 6) trunk door rubs & at times won't open, 7) two clearance lights falling out, 8) door on 1/2 bath warped, 9) very weak (almost NO) brakes, 10) construction debris on tops of slides chewing up the seals, 11) soft floor in main bath feels like it's ready to crack & give way. Overall, VERY BAD Quality Control. Looks like all Jayco is worried about is beating the clock. I owned a 1988 Jayco Designer 5th wheel, and the craftsmanship was far superior then what it is now. WHAT HAPPENED JAYCO ....NO PRIDE IN YOUR PRODUCT ANYMORE??? Thank God I have a GREAT dealer trying desperately to rectify my problems so that I can finally get on the road.

I have a brand new North Point and have a couple of rock chips. Wrote the CO. to get the paint code to have a local body shop make up some touch up paint and was told by JAYCO to hook up the trailer and take it in to the body shop to be matched. Do they realize what a hassle that is when all you would need is the paint code to have some made. this is the first company that I have dealt with that will not provide a paint number. Just saying

Great RV it's roomy and travels well. It really fits all the needs of being away from home especially if you have kids. The outdoor kitchen and shower are amazing features with the second door going into the bathroom. After being out all day and fishing or playing it's nice to clean up without running through the whole camper.

This is my first RV and I have to say the experience has been more than I could ever have hoped for. This is a SOLIDLY built machine and it has exceeded every expectation I had. I believe I would be hard pressed to find another RV from any other company that could match let alone exceed what I have got now with my Jayco Redhawk. I HIGHLY recommend this RV to anyone buying their first or fifth RV, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. Happy Camping!!

On a return trip from TN we stopped in to a large RV dealer in ASHLAND, VA just to look at a PRECEPT. This model had all of our wish list items so we traded our 2103 Fleetwood in. We LOVE our 31UL even though we had several PDI items to correct. I was skeptical to purchase because of the negative reviews I was finding. We have not had a minutes worth of problems. I am still waiting for parts from the PDI since we are 5 hrs from dealer. I would buy another JAYCO if need be.

We've owned the unit for just over 3 weeks and it's going back to the dealer for warranty work. LOTS of warranty work. Both main slides are out of alignment and ripped up my floor, the back slide doesn't close tightly. There's a big gouge in the sidewall of one of the tires with multiple circular slashes that the dealer covered up with shiny stuff. The heater fan is loose. The awning doesn't open. The clear coat paint didn't get applied evenly on the front and back caps. Jayco changed the design of the stove/microwave exhaust, so that there used to be a latch inside to open the exhaust vent, but now it's 11 feet up on the outside! I want my trade back! We'll see how the dealer an Jayco do with fixing the problem, as it's due to go back to the dealer next week. I haven't even made the first payment!

Was a new design. 30x Toooo many breakdowns going to Texas and back. With under 2000 miles had in for warrenty work for the electronic lift system numerous times to include system breaking from the frame, repair bill for welding 2inches $400. Slideout and other misc proplems. Talked to Jayco corp, they suggested I bring back to manafacture and they would PDI it. PDI should of happened before it left. AFTER months in repair shop , the dealer I purchased from did an outstanding job of repairing and correcting the warrenty work. This was our 2d and last Jayco. Traded in in.
NOTE: The suspension/ride was outstanding..
More quality control PRIOR to leaving the Jayco plant..

This is my third RV. Had a Class C for two years, then a Class A for about a year and a half and now back to a Class C. This coach drives better than my HR class A. Much quieter and just about as much room as we had in the Class A. Plus we like more doors and having an engine and hood out in front of us, didn't like riding on the front window of my Class A. The only thing I added was a steering stabilizer.

We have had the RV 1 year and have had the rv in for service 5 times. The kitchen water leaked and the bedroom slide leaked. They found 12" of seal missing. This should have been caught at factory. The kitchen slide has never worked right it hangs up. They replaced the board and this worked for a while but now it gone out again. With this model if the slide does not work you can not use the kitchen.

We purchased this brand new in October of 2016. When we started using it, we noticed small problems, the plumbing fixtures did not work properly. Then, we started to notice the larger issues. This unit had a leak in the roof and the entire underneath of the floor was shot. Further, the Norcold brand refrigerator that comes with it doesn't work in environments above 90 degrees. Nor, did it operate when the power went off, the auto start didn't function properly. The shower stall door leaks, as does the rear around the poorly designed power input for the electricity. So far, we have had to spend $1675.00 for repairs and it's hardly been a years worth of use.

In closing, Jayco should be ashamed of themselves, as should any RV dealer that carries their products.

We purchased this Jayco in October 2016. The big selling feature was the combination of a nice floor plan and lightweight towing. The woodwork was really nice and the decor was comfortable and pleasing. We have been very disappointed in the quality of the unit. The bedroom door doesn't close because the door jamb is not square, the back window doesn't latch and opens while we are driving, you can also push it open when the RV is locked up. The beautiful woodwork that so attracted us is falling apart on the slide out room. The sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom has completely come off the track and all the hardware is no longer usable. To top it off, 2 weeks ago we were camping in the rain and I watched water coming in and rolling down the wall from one of the windows. On the other side of the living area, the carpet was completely drenched and I am not sure if it is the window or the roof of the slide out room that is the problem. ON top of all the frustrations that we could deal with if they were repaired, we had to wait 2 months to get a warranty service appointment. We called a week after we dropped off the unit and were told it was appointment to be "in-line for service" not an appointment FOR service. The dealer said it takes anywhere from 12 days to 3 weeks for them to even begin the job. So they could have the rig for anywhere from 4-8 weeks or more. Oddly enough, I am most disappointed in the quality of the electronics that were used. The owners manual is a joke. The Furion product is not a quality product at all. Overall a very disappointing experience with Jayco and dealer. For anyone purchasing an RV, I recommend you check out your dealer carefully. You are stuck with them for the length of your warranty.

Horrible very cheaply made with a high price. Getting service done at the Dealer is a joke. I have had this unit for 10 months and it has been in for service or repairs for 5 of those months and I have to travel 200 miles round trip $60.00 fuel bill. Don't waste that $4500 to 5000 on extended warranty cause they can't fix in 2 years. Don't like making payments when I have nothing to show for it on my property or be able to use it. We purchased our Jayco 26 XD Red Hawk new in March 2017 and were very excited.
Today it's a different story. We have issuse after issue. 11 so far. Some were resolved others are in limbo. One will not be corrected due to incompetent personnel. Case in point, No heat in bathroom. Only cold air out of the vent.
APPARENTLY a LACK LUSTER in Quality Control. The claim of Amish employees working for Jayco with quality workmanship is a JOKE.
Looks nice but that ends abruptly with the onset of PROBLEMS.
Paying over $60,000 for this is nothing but GREED and THEFT by The JAYCO Corporation.

This motor home has plenty of room (sleeps up to 8) and is well laid out. The kitchen is a little small but dinette table is handy for extra space. The closet is huge and drawers are usefully sized. Ease of set up is a plus. Handling on the road is good. Because it is under 30' it is easier to maneuver than our truck/ fifth wheel combo. We recently took delivery of our 267BHSW and have made four trips with 10 total nights spent in the RV. To our surprise, we have had no issues crop up to date. We expected to have some initial problems, but none! The layout is usable and spacious. his is an entry level unit, so fit and finish are okay, but it is what we expected. The only modification that we are making immediately is to add stabilization bars to the scissor jacks. The unit has noticeable motion as people move around. Overall we highly recommend this TT and plan to use ours for many years to come!

We have had he trailer almost 11 months and we have had it in our possession 2 months. There are two holes in the wall that Jayco should have caught, the slide out rails needed to be fixed, the hot water tank leaked, the battery disconnect was replaced as it was faulty, the o2 sensor had to be replaced and many other items. Thor Industries (Jayco parent company) has taken a once enjoyable time for my family and made it stressful. They do not back there product sure they fix the issue but after two years it’s on me and so far there track record is poor. It’s a shame they have stolen our joy of camping. Now we make payments on a trailer we hope to see for the May long weekend.

I have owned this trailer since April 2017 since then the bottom of the trailer fell off during a trip, the water leaked from the bathtub into a storage area and ruined many items we had stored in their. the speakers in the awning were bad and the wiring was also bad. Not to mention the warranty program everything that is wrong requires approval from Jayco 2 to 3 days delay, then Camping World 3 days before they can diagnose the problem which is another story. Then they will have to order the parts and there is no overnight delivery. Now your into picking the trailer up because they don't have room to store it. Need to have some type of protection against poor quality control inferior products.

My Husband had them buy it back at a $10,000.00 loss. The list was very long of what needed warranty repair. 1st 2 days bed was hard as a rock, first week bed had a dip in the middle. We eventually figured out to put buckets underneath to support bed. Our combined weight is 300 lbs. The pipes burst open next to the kitchenette, the water was too hot and it requires a tech to change temp. Cupboard doors were falling off, screws pull right out of the particle board. Supports were on top of shelves rather than under to support weight. And much more.

The bed in this RV IS NOT a queen bed. We did not try it out before we bought it, only to find it is only 70 inches long. Queen mattresses are 80 inches long and Full are 75 inches long. This makes it tough for 6'3" male and 5'8" female. All of your literature and your website list this as a Queen size. You need to be clear in your representation.

The bed for the Melbourne 24K is HORRIBLE! The bed slides out, and the platform the folding mattress slides onto has a drop of almost 3" about 2/3 from the head of the bed. The mattress is flat, so it sinks almost 3" where our thighs are. They should have made the mattress 3" thicker on the bottom third. Jayco believes this is no problem - I guess they never sleep I in their products.

We bought our Jayco on 5/11/17, and weren't able to use it until 8/10/17 due to warranty issues. We bought it from dealer in Katy, TX

We fell in love with this RV the moment we opened the door. Ours has most every option available so it accommodates even the most eccentric desires for portable living. It drives like an SUV or van, not a large camper. The front seats are extremely comfortable for long journeys. Storage space abounds. Bed is quite comfy. Controls are easy to identify and read. Only negative is no place to hang any full-length clothing without folding or bending. Everything else has exceeded expectations.

Researching RV trailer quality, we were generally impressed with ratings for Jayco. We traded up from a pop up but have not been impressed with the quality of this unit.
After only 1 camping trip, we had to put in for a warranty repair/replacement of the couch. Sitting on it for only four days caused the cushion to collapse and a dowel rod to poke out of the coushion. Had to drag it all the way back to the dealer we bought from in Ocala as the local dealer in Orlando would not work on a warranty issue because we didn’t buy it from them.
The second trip just three weeks ago had more issues. The water heater controller went out on the second day of a five day trip causing us to have to call mobile repair to fix it. The repair man immediately knew what the issue was and said the Chinese made control board was the problem. Took less than 4 minutes to fix and cost over $330. Submitted to Jayco for reimbursement, haven’t heard back from them.
Other issues also emerged, the cheap plastic kitchen sink cracked and the kitchen faucet fixture surface began to bubble. When we got back home, there was also a notice of recall for an electrical circuit breaker issue that could cause a fire. Back to the dealership for repair and warranty submission to Jayco. No word from Jayco on the repair/replacement of the sink/faucet.
I realize that this is an entry level RV but for $25,000, you would generally expect some reliability and quality.
Also, my original vehicle, a Ford F-150, was not well suited to tow this unit. We stepped it up to an F-350 diesel as we plan to up grade to a fifth wheel eventually, but now will be looking more closely at other manufacturers, not just Jayco.
Three more camping trips planned in the next four months including going to the Florida Keys. Feels like I’m just waiting for the next shoe to drop with this unit.

Have had this unit for 2 years. Problems I have had are, a plumbing leak, couch seat replaced, mattress replaced, and a bathroom sink replaced. All repairs were fixed under warranty. Had to have dining seats updated to a denser foam on my nickel. The wood used to build the bed frame was of substandard wood, looked like low quality furring strips so I had to rebuild the frame with better lumber and plywood. The amish quality is overridden with low price material and the amount of time they must allow for the build. you can see where screws are starting to loosen up and causing bumps in the flooring. Everything looks good at first glance but after a little use the lack of quality shows up.

My 1/2 ton 6 cylinder reg cab could tow, but not well. A 8cyl 1/2 ton should have no problem. I love this trailer. Been out below freezing (no water in tanks), and kept me warm. Everything works, except the Bluetooth IRV no longer pairs. Mattress is firm and sinking a bit, fridge works great, A/C worked at 103F on LOW cool and kept me very comfortable, but a bit loud. GREAT couples trailer, as you can get out on side of bed, unlike R-Pod. Baja has super clearance! I would recommend with no problem, although this is NOT a custom trailer and is built for the VALUE buyer!

I bought an SLX 174BH in the Austin area, planning on not planning an RV trek to anywhere I wanted to go. No time frame either -- easy, since I'm retired.

I planned to sell the trailer after returning, so I got a bunkhouse model figuring it would sell easier. It did.

I never got beyond New Mexico, not because of the trailer, but because New Mexico is a superb state to spend 10 weeks exploring. 10 weeks turns about to be my limit for this sport, with Austin waiting back home.

I have no serious issues with the 174BH, which pulled nicely with a 2004 V8 4Runner with tow package. It did the job for me, and everything worked fine.

The Jayco 16XRB isn't for everyone, but I love mine. Its a very tidy and compact little camper that you don't even notice pulling. We even pull it with our station wagon. But when you open up the end it is massive. The best part is it's narrow profile, at 7 feet wide, you don't even need trailer mirrors.
But everything comes at a cost, I am 5-8, and when I lay down on the bunks, my head and feet touch on both ends. Not a problem for me, I sleep quite comfortably, but anyone over 5-8 would have to curl up on their side.

I have had nothing but problems with this model - awning, water heart, slide out, water ingress into bunks, door not closing, cosmetic issues, etc. Overall bad quality!!!! I talked with Jayco direct, you can't return the trailer after purchase due to warranty terms even if you have a lemon. The warranty process takes months! Don't do it, go with a different brand.

On August 10, 2016 we purchased a 2016 Jayco Seneca 37HJ. We had been looking for a very long time for the perfect coach for us and our 5 adopted kids. After spending close to $200,000. we thought that we had found it. This coach has been a nightmare from day 1. We took possession and stayed in the lot at Guarranty the first night so that we would make sure it was functioning properly before leaving for a 4 day camp at Willamette Music Festival. Right away, we had problems with the levelling system and that satellite. We were only able to use the levelers if we were plugged in to power. The next day we spent 8 hours at Guaranty, waiting for them to try to get it to work....Ended up with instructions to run generator to level since we were dry camping and come back in 2 weeks for service. During our 4 days...things got worse as our system was not holding a charge, the refrigerator and the water heater was not working properly and we had 2 more visits from the technicians to get the satellite working. Due to these issues, we had to run the generator a lot during this trip and ended up needed it to be serviced shortly after...which we were charged for. Since this visit, we have had continued issues with refrigerator and satellite, the CO2 detector had to be replaced (2 trips for that), 2 LED lights have been replaced (1 is out again). We were only able to take it out on the one trip last year and the rest of the time it was either waiting for parts to come in or in the shop at Guarranty. It is approx. 150 miles each way to their facility and we have been there at least 6 times. We have left it with them for 2 weeks to a month at a time and still continue to have problems. We finally took the kids camping this weekend and the first night noticed water on our bedroom floor. This is coming out of the wall behind the bathroom sink and seeping out of the wall every time the water pump is turned on. We have had this coach for almost 11 months and only have 2 weekends of camping. I believe that we ended up with a lemon and are considering consulting an attorney to find out what our rights and options are. It is not right for us to pay that much money for something that is absolutely useless for our family as it either has an issue or it is in the shop.

Just completed a 1800 mile trip with my Seneca! no mechanical problems since I have owned the unit; purchased it new at Dixie RV of Hammond LA. Drives like a dream @70 mph with a fuel mileage of 10-12 mpg without towing another vehicle. Very satisfied with the layout of the unit and its quality. I had to figure out how to reset the tankless hot water heater(thanks youtube.

Worst investment ever. My wife and I like it, we use it for a week in December. The main slde leaks its been in the dealer since January. Now the dealer said its a manufature problem and they can not fixe it. Call Jayco several times ,Im still waiting for an answer from them. This a brand new 2016 Jayco Precept in limbo, but im still making payments and storage fees. My advice stay away.... far away from this company and Tampa RVs. The service and sales are terrible. Dont fall for sale piches and 2 year waranty. The 2 year warranty dont mean a thing, much less the service.

Everything was great until it started warming up. My North point will not maintain good air temp in the heat of the day. It has climbed to as high as 87 and the dealer got it to react 84 and said this was ok and they was nothing else they could do. My recommendation is not to buy one without checking the temp on a hot day.

We would never recommend buying a Jayco product. We bought our 2016 Jayco Precept 31 UL brand new at dealer in CA.Our salesman stressed over and over again "Made by the Amish," Amish Quality." The Jayco website states "Old World Amish Craftsmanship." NOT!! We took our 2016 out on a one-day trip. This is the registered letter I sent to the Manager of Customer Service, Roger Johnson: July 8, 2016

Roger Johnson, Customer Service Manager
Jayco, Inc.

Middlebury, IN 46540
RE: 2016 Jayco Precept
Dear Mr. Johnson:
On May 28, 2016, we bought a 2016 31' Jayco Precept from dealer. After a less than one day trip in the Precept, we were forced to return the coach to Motorhome dealership. The following problems were identified:
Rear of motorhome (driver side) has separated from body by approximately 1 inch
Kitchen faucet mounted too close to wood cabinet, causing deep gouge in wood
Dinette table mounted on wall unstable, causing table and wall to pull away
Pullout pantry cabinet slams out while driving, and then drawers in cabinet also slam out
Pullout drawer under stove slams out while driving
Pullout drawer in bedroom slams out while driving
Driver side window does not close completely, creating a constant whistling noise
Driver side window, while closed, developed an extremely loud noise, at about a 90 db level, sounding like a loud leaf blower
Crackling noise, similar to sand hitting inside the wall, around exit door and transom window, continuous
Crackling noise, similar to sand hitting inside the wall, next to driver side window, appeared after approximately 100 miles of driving
Screen door does not open with entry door
Rubber molding around entry door separated and flying in the wind (only now partially attached)
Unable to code keyless entry lock
Wood fascia trim on side of slide detached
Missing LP plastic gauge on tank, unable to read tank level
Refrigerator continuously flashing error message, "LO dc"
Extremely difficult to open entry door using inside handle
Velcro cushions in dinette area do not adhere, constantly pulling away and slipping
110 volt at dashboard as well as USB ports inoperative
Completely inadequately labeled Fresh Water/City Water Fill inlets (2)
Completely confusing, inadequately labeled dials for setting fill options
Cabinet handles not level
2016 Precept Manual completely inadequate as form of reference – generic and does not apply to 2016 Precept
2.

To further elaborate on the above list:

We noted at the time of purchase, that the placement of the sink faucet pressed up against the wood cabinet. When the slider was opened, a wear pattern was created causing a groove in the wooden cabinet directly behind the faucet. We also noted that the wall on which the kitchen dinette table was attached, flexed with even the slightest pressure on the table. There had been a bead of silicone run along the table/wall, however, that had already given way and was no longer adherent. It was also an inadequate "fix" for this problem. The wall is not stable and cannot support the dinette table. It was also noted that numerous handles on the various wooden cabinets were not level. On our initial test drive at the dealership, the driver side window, although closed and locked, vibrated open slightly after driving a few miles, creating a whistling noise. The window was pulled closed and the lock again securely closed, only to have the whistle begin again after only a few miles. (This problem has continued constantly since the motorhome was picked up.) These problems were pointed out to the staff at dealer. They agreed that all of the above were problematic and needed to be corrected, however, they recommended that we take the motorhome on our first trip to see if there were any other problems that might need to be addressed.

We picked up the motorhome on June 2, 2016, and brought it to our home in Brentwood before taking it to a gated storage facility in Brentwood, CA. When backing the Precept out of our driveway (completely unloaded), which has only a very slight decline, the left side of the motorhome touched the asphalt on the street causing a scrape on the Precept body. In reviewing the 2016 Precept Manual provided, there is no mention of a problem with backing-up or down on any level. Photo attached of the driveway.

When at the gated storage, we attempted numerous times to set the code on the keyless entry and were unable to program the keyless entry.

We took our first trip in our Jayco Precept on June 28, 2016, to Twin Lakes, California, a distance of approximately 199 miles. After we arrived at the campground, we had a very difficult time trying to ascertain which fill (upper or lower) was for the fresh water fill, due to inadequate labeling. Our previous Class C Freelander had identical fill ports, one for external water and one for tank fill. The two fills on the Jayco Precept are so ambiguously and inadequately labeled, that it was impossible to know which one to use to fill the fresh water tank. The Precept Manual was of no help. There was no diagram and the instructions very, very generic, absolutely not describing this particular motorhome. The instructions in Section 8 – Plumbing System, don't even have photos to describe how and where to fill the fresh water. In addition, the two separate "utility center valve" instructions in the Manual are vague and generic, again without one photo to show settings. The City Water Fill, City Water Tank Fill and Country Water Fill instructions on Section 8-12, 8-13, are generic and completely inadequate in describing the filling process. What does "place the utility center valves in the 'Normal' position" mean? How would we even know that "utility center valves" even are? One simple photo in the Manual would have been of enormous help.

In the process of trying to determine which fill port to use to fill the fresh water tank, we chose the lower fill inlet (which was the same one we used on our Freelander). We thought there was something wrong with the tank since it wasn't filling. Unbeknownst to us, it was filling up the black water tank – which was not properly identified. Why would a black water tank fill even be located in this area? It should be in the completely separate area where the black water and gray water valves are located. Again, nothing in the 2016 Precept Manual. After numerous trips in and out of the motorhome to check the level of the Fresh Water, it was noted that there was water flowing out of the bathroom. Upon
3.

opening the bathroom door, the toilet was overflowing. I stepped on the flush valve to empty it, and the black water shot up like a fountain, spraying black water all over.

In referring to your website online 2016 Precept Manual, which is slightly different from the generic manual provided with the coach, the wording is ambiguous and vague:

Page 97, Fresh Water Holding Tank:

There may be several ways to fill the fresh water tank depending on the model. For details of each method, refer to the Fresh Water Connections or the Utility Center (if so equipped) sections. There are plastic overflow tubes plumbed into the fresh water holding tank which allows water to flow out of the water tank (see City Water Fill). Occasionally, you may see water coming from the overflow tubes when the fresh water holding tank is filled. This is normal and can be a result of the recreation vehicle being parked on an incline, or the motion caused by starting or stopping during travel.
What does this even mean?

Page 95 There are two different water systems in your recreation vehicle:
The fresh water system consists of the fresh water holding tank, fresh water connections, water pump, outside shower assembly (if so equipped), water heater, faucets, tub/ shower, and water purification system (if so equipped).

The same vague, generic explanations were found for everything listed in this manual. This manual should at least be specific (preferably with photos) to the 2016 Precept Motorhome, which it supposedly represents.

The refrigerator flashed an error message, LO dc. Again, referring to the Manual was of no assistance. In reading the NorCold Manual, the description of the error message was similarly vague. I called the Technical Assistance line for NorCold, and they said this was covered under warranty and we should take it to a service facility for repair.

It was at this point, after less than one day, that we decided that we needed to return the motorhome to dealer for these issues. Needless to say, it was a disappointing start to our planned four-day vacation. On the trip home, the pullout pantry cabinet started slamming out while driving, and then drawers in the cabinet also slammed out. Each time, I would securely push the pantry cabinet back in, as well as the drawers, only to have this same scenario repeat over and over and over. The drawer under the stove and drawers in the bedroom also opened multiple times.

The outside rubber molding around the entry door was flying in the wind, flapping as we drove.

On our return home, the slamming out of the pantry cabinet and various drawers started. While dealing with the opening of the multiple drawers, I noted a fairly loud noise, like sand, or some loose material, vibrating around and beside the exit/entry door. This same loud noise vibration later developed in the wall area next to the driver side window. (This is a completely separate noise from the whistling and loud window noises.)

After we arrive at the dealership, we noted the rear panel detachment on the right side of the coach.

Our motorhome has been at the dealership since June 30, 2016. You

can imagine our disappointment in the quality of this Jayco product. We dread to think of what will happen when we take the Precept on a longer trip. At least on our first trip, we were only approximately 200 miles away from home. the dealership had stressed the Jayco quality over and over during our purchase process. Even saying that these motorhomes were "made by
the Amish." Even your manual states: Old World Amish craftsmanship.

Other than previously owning a Class C Coachman Freelander for a short time, we are really new to the RV process. We wanted to buy a new, quality product with electric options that we could enjoy as we
travel the USA. Without even a decent manual to refer to if we have questions, we are very, very worried about being able to enjoy an uncomplicated trip in this Precept RV. In calling the Customer Service number listed in the 2016 Precept Manual, there is no option for RV, only Travel Trailer. Upon speaking with an operator at your Indiana facility, it was told that the number in the manual was not the number for RV Customer Service. Just another of the multiple problematic and misleading instructions.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to our problems.

Sincerely yours,

In the 41 days that the RV was at the dealership, they detected additional problems necessitating the replacement of the solenoid. Since this did not correct the refrigerator LOdc problem, two new batteries were installed. They also replaced the driver side window and new keyless entry lock, as the first one never was able to be programmed.

August 19, 2016 Update:
Since the 2016 had been at dealership since June 30, 2016, we were told that we could take it out on another trip, while we are still waiting for more of the warranty problems to be corrected. We never heard directly from Roger Johnson, or anyone else at Jayco in Indiana. On our four day trip to Southern Oregon from California, approximately 600 miles total, the following new problems were noted:
Navigation system did not work.
The play in the steering wheel has been problematic since Day 1, necessitating a constant moving of the steering wheel to the right and left to keep the RV tracking straight on the road.
As we drove up Highway 5 in CA, we started hearing a loud popping, ping sound, as if a bolt had snapped. This happened approximately seven times over the length of the trip. The sound was located in the front passenger side area.
Refrigerator ran continuously in propane mode, never stopping.
The LOdc error message periodically flashed on the refrigerator.
The front air conditioning unit did not cool the below 95 degrees, even though unit and the Cummins generator ran continuously all evening.
The windshield wiper on the driver side skipped over the front window about 6 inches at a skip and was not adequate to cover the size of the window, even if it hadn't skipped. The passenger side wiper skipped but not the degree that the driver side did.
Bathroom medicine cabinet backing inside detached. It was only held in place with silicone to begin with.
Wind squeaks returned to driver side new window, as well as passenger side window, window in exit door and gasket area on passenger side slideout.
The USB ports and plugs are only operative when the generator is running, not when the motor is running. I could only charge my cellphone by using the cigarette lighter socket.
The Auto Level Retractor only registered that the left front and left side as retracted. The light stayed lit for rear and right side, necessitating that we exit the RV to confirm that they were, in fact, retracted.
The generator showed an error message 35.
On our first day out, when we returned to the motor home, the only door in or out of the unit was jammed. We struggled for 1-1/2 hours before my husband finally gave one BIG pull and the door popped open. After that, we still had difficulty opening the door from the inside. We would have to sit on the inside top step and push with all our might to get the door to open.
The plastic trim on the kitchen cabinet shelves is not attached and has started to detach.
Dealer picked up the RV this morning. It is unknown when this very poor quality RV will be "fixed." I am in the process of pursuing the California Lemon Law.

Please, please, please, never buy a Jayco product. False advertising. They are not made by the Amish and there is not Amish craftsmanship - just cheap quality. Even the handles on the cabinets are at an angle, not level. Like looking at crooked pictures on a wall.

We love the RV, it had some problems in the beginning, but Jayco stands behind their 2 yr Warranty and fixed everything! The floor plan of the 31UL is just enough for 2 people. Even if you are living fulltime, it would suffice. The refrigerator is full size with an ice maker and the hot water is continuous. Thats what really sold us on this rv.

I was sold on this RV due to the manufacturing specs. The slides come with jacks and not cables which was also a plus for me. I will without question buy another Jayco! I gave only 4 stars on the floor plan due to storage. While it does have exterior storage, it would have been nice for it to be a little bigger.

I find the Grayhawk a very nice RV recognizing the fact that nothing is perfect and I am assuming the manufacturer realizes that also and gives the warranty to take care of any thing that may need attention after the delivery. But communication with warranty/support at Jayco is almost non existent. I do realize they have a considerable amount of customers and each and everyone that requires service needs and should receive their undivided attention no matter what the dollar amount was paid for their products.

Overall I wouldd rate this unit 3.5 out of 5, mainly because of the marginal build quality of the trailer. I would rate it 2.5 on its own but my local dealer, Thompson RV has been extremely responsive to fixing issues, so my overall experience has been better. Even so, they had to work on it for over a month repairing issues before I would even think about taking delivery of the unit. A list of those issues were:

-replacement of the rear half of the lower foam insulated floor due to excessive bulging and excessive foam discharge
-sanding and painting of the rear bike rack, front hitch, and rear bumper due to excessive rust
-replacement of the outdoor kitchen latches due to excessive corrosion
-misaligned / bent black tank flush connector
-misaligned exit window that was not sealing.

Once I got the trailer, the items that were found during the first hour of the first day trip out and are currently under repair are:
-non functioning water pump
-poor inner fridge performance (nor cool brand)
-creaky floor near the kitchen sink cabinets
-delaminating floor/bubbles in the linoleum

Overall the coach is well appointed, pleasing to the eye inside and out, and carries a high level of standard equipment that other comparable lines offer as options. However the quality level that I was promised and expecting simply is not there. As a result, I would not recommend this product to others at the current time.

Needless to say, this will be my first and last jayco product, and I will be looking to trade into another trailer in 2-3years when the original warranty expires. If you are okay with minor to moderate issues, and willing to run back and forth to the dealer, Jayco might be for you. However for $10K less, keystone, and coachman have similar layouts with comparable, not equal, levels of appointment and options.

What I do recommend is that you do extensive research online before making a purchase. I could not find much feedback on the 314bhds this winter, so my intent is to get this information out the for prospective buyers of the jayco eagle TT series, so they can better understand what they are purchasing
Do not assume jayco builds a quality product., or trust sales information. Research, research, research. Talk to as many others to level expectations, and use that information as leverage in purchase price negotiation!

I like the size of the rv but I do not like the quality. When I just picked it up I went down the road and the storage above the bed and the sides all fell apart it was only held on by a few nails. The hot water hose fell of and flooded the trailer the seals around the doors are not sealed properly and leak. the awning is ripping off. The seal on for the slide is ripping off and screws are popping out. Very cheap made I am not happy with the quality. Plus towing I feel like all the weight is on one side so it sloppy on the road

Bought this new in January, 2016. Estimate 150 nites used.
The first time we brought the unit from storage to dealer, a month after purchasing, the kitchen slide-out failed; had extended it and could not get it to return; finally pushed it past the problem area.
As many on this forum have said, there was a leak in the bathroom vent and the USB on the kitchen island was dead.
Other issues:
-Electrical outlet near kitchen table, dead
-Water somehow leaked into bottom shelf of bedroom cabinets
- Kitchen faucet failed & needed replaced
- Strange wear on just one tire so bad the Tyron core was exposed; no one could explain.
- Electrical issue - outside lights wouldn't turn off
- Electrical issue - no power to any of the slide-outs and rear stabilizer.
- Blown out wheel bearing while driving; surprised it didn't cause a fire; repair involved replacing an axle, in addition to the beating.

The last 2 items have happened in the past 5 days; trip ruining events, for sure.

I owned a Jayco hybrid and was very pleased with that and the Jayco service. However this White Hawk is always bending axles! I have replace 4 axles. Three since this April. While Lippert covers the replacement it takes 2-3 weeks to get the axle. As a result I have been stuck camping in a repair lot for 15 days in April and now I’m stuck in Eureka MO since July 4. The axle was shipped Friday and is due to arrive July 24. I am not the only one with this problem. So avoid getting a White Hawk with the widely spaced axles.

Problems encountered: Shower coming off wall towards top. Husband able to fix. Cords in bedroom slide not attached and have to be shoved back while putting slide out.
Things that could be improved. Move fire alarm away from stove. Add vent in Living area. Have windows open more to get more circulation.

Bought from reputable dealer in NV Johnnie Walker. Coach exceeds my expectations as a woman and Jayco has just about thought of everything especially for a woman's view right down to a place for a coffee pot, ample cabinets, low switch height (for a 5 foot gal). This RV is very easy to drive and maneuver. It has a backup camera and wide side mirrors. Once it is parked it the slide outs make it nicer than a hotel room. The cooktop and convection/micro wave oven make it just like home. Traveling at 60 mph we get 10 mpg which is good. I have never towed so I cannot address that feature.

We like the 24RKS wh have. Livability: is kind of tight with this floor plan. We have a 65 pound dog and when he lays on the floor things can get a little cramped. A different floor plan would have cured this. Quality: Some of the trim work had to be put back on after a couple of trips out in the woods. The sail switch on the furnace had a failure (furnace was not build by Jayco), warranty covered the repairs. The thing is the closest Jayco dealer at the time was 2 1/2 hours drive. We made it work. We bought the TT in late 2015 as a 2016 model year. This summer (2018) I have been resealing the dicor on the roof. I have been using dicoror the round corners and Eternabond tape on the straight areas to seal things up. Driving/towing: I think the trailer tows very well. We do get some sway under windy conditions but, slowing down to 50 or 55 helps that. We drove from OR to OK to Il and back to OR last Aug/Sept and had no trouble towing at all. Manufacturer warranty/support: We only had to have warranty work done on the furnace and now the warranty is all gone. My wife and I have both added things that we wanted for that more homey feel. We are very happy with our purchase so far.

I bought a 2016 Jayco Melbourne 24K on Aug. 10 of 2016 and I have had nothing but trouble with it.It has been in the Mercedes shop four times since I bought it and haven't been able to use it not once. With all the things they have done to it to me it is still unsafe to drive. So if Jayco or whoever will give me my money back I would be delighted. If the floor plan was different it would be fantastic. Thanks

Bought this coach for the value and warranty as well as all of the features it offered in this price range. Perfect for traveling for extended periods and very comfortable. Fits anywhere and easy to drive. Jayco is a great company to deal with after the sale. Highly recommend for anyone with a family of up to 4. Flawless and no issues in first year of travel!

I bought the RV new based on the recommendation of my neighbor who loves the JayCo brand. The floor plan met our needs and the cabinets were top quality. However, I've had to bring in for warranty work three separate times due to broken backup camera, leaking waste water valve and non-working ceiling light. Changing the fresh water filter is a major effort if you can find it and the instruction manual describing how to winterize doesn't tell you an critical step to invert a washer releasing a back water valve. Also, the gas tank venting hose goes from a 3/8 inch pipe to a 5/8 inch hose. As a result, it leaks gas vapors. The living quarters comes with a single 12v battery which completely discharges over night when the heater is on. I had to install a second battery in a storage compartment. The bed is advertised as queen size but it's 10 inches short of 80 inches. Not what I would have expected for a new RV much less one from a manufacturer with a good reputation.

We are glad we bought our Jay Feather. It is an excellent value - decent quality and modest pricing. We have had only very minor fixes and adjustments. As of now, we would buy another Jayco trailer. We love the Murphy bed, open floor plan, counter space, and large bathroom. Our only long term concern is the foam laminated floor - hoping that it will last. The rest of the unit is about as solid as an ultralight can be. We recommend the Jay Feather!

Purchased in Apr.16' 9,000 miles of travel, literally fell apart. Cupboards came apart, dinette seat gave way ( seven staples used, no screws ) water heater never worked properly, water pump intermittent use, three radios to find coax cable not connected to antenna, one wheel out of line, wore down to casing. Hope new owners, Thor, improve construction and quality. Traded it in and very happy with a new high quality TT.

We traded in a 13 year old Momtana 35 ft. Trailer. Never any trouble. Wanted something smaller. Little did we expect the trouble we were getting into. Jayco trailers are junk. Put together with staples which fall out every time we use it. We have replaced many with screws, still going on. Be prepared for shower hoses blowing out. Water every wear. We know of 3 other people buying Jaycos in the last year and also having problems. Our trailer dealer has many Jaycos lined up for repairs. We do love the layout with the Murphy bed. Once again bewere of Jayco products, they are very sloppy put together. We'll see what we have to contend with next time out. Don' tlisten to the salesman. You will be stuck with junk.

I have been very happy with most functions of our new jayco. I also feel that there is a m ajor design flaw in the axel positioning. The axels are too far apart, major banging noise when backing. The extra width between the axels forces too much weight on one axel. the wheels lean over when turning short. I feel that this design needs to be improved upon.

There does not appear to be any quality in the manufacture of these campers. Just purchased a 2016 jayco toy hauler and so far:
The converter is bad
The tung jack is bad
The awning light is bad
The hose to the hot water heater is bad
The inside lights were wired wrong.
Dealership has been very good with the service but each time I go there they need to order parts which means another trip.
not sure if all manufacturers are like this but if they are then maybe building things overseas is not such a bad idea

We traded down from a 28 foot Jayco but must have bought one made when the workers had a off day. The head of the bed fell into the storage compartment our second trip out. The first time out without a hook up I found I could not put water into the tank because the interior hose going to the storage tank went up 6 inches above the intake before it looped down. The water coming out of the sink had no pressure, less then 1 gallon of water came out after 5 minutes running. At least the warranty has fixed the problems but I'm tired of taking it in to be fixed every time I find something incorrectly installed.

Specifically chose this configuration for off road, rough country camping: inverted axles, 15" M/S tires (both for higher ground clearance), greater water capacity, larger propane tank, lighter weight, etc. Bunks to preclude necessity of converting table to bed (although that may be done if nec). All the forgoing reduces many RVers "livability" factors, & if "home" comforts are desired, I'd recommend a more commodious model. However, if a fishing/hunting rig is desired, I strongly recommend this little guy. It tows without additional stabilizers, etc., maneuvers in tight spaces easily and if conservative with resources, i.e. water, power, propane, this is a wonderful asset when "boondocking". It may be towed with smaller TVs, though I use a 1/2 T pickup. The JAYCO folks have unstintingly answered all my "rookie" RV queries without hesitation, and the Jayco Forum members have been a wealth of info. If one has a need for a light, agile RV for getting into the back country, I strongly recommend this inexpensive, very comfortable (WAY better than any tent!) traveling cabin. - Jeff

This is our first RV and it has not been a positive experience. We like the layout, but we haven't even had it two years yet and it's falling apart. The back of the benches are coming apart we have had to take it in for repairs 3 times and we are going to have to take it in again. The siding warped, the kitchen sink sprang a leak and the water heater didn't work right. We had to replace the mattress after a very short time of use. The warranty is nightmare and it takes forever to get repairs completed.Very disappointed in our purchase. I would not recommend anyone buy this product.

This RV is so easy to tow and park we enjoyed every trip stayed the month of January in Florida. Room to entertain, if its raining watch movies inside or outside the awning. I have added a medicine cabinet and night stand for the front bedroom . Kitchen is a joy to cook or bake in, for me, microwave! Showering is easy and lighted by skylight. Heating and AC work great. Sofa is in the slide out area will make into a spacious single and the table a double bed. When making a short stop, don’t open the front or rear bedrooms. We loved this RV! Selling because I have to stop driving soon ☺️ Like new, Must See🙂!!!

We purchased our Jayco Pinnacle new from Hilltop Trailer Sales, Minnesota. This RV had minimal use/minimal exposure to the elements--we did not travel to florida/arizona, etc. When we pulled the unit out of storage after the 3rd winter the paint looked terrible! It was faded, cracked, and looked like hell. Bottom line...we took photos, sent letters, asked for assistance from both the dealer and Jayco. We were totally ignored by both. The dealer offered to repaint it for $5000.00--what a deal! We paid $60,000+ for this unit, and the paint job didn't last 3 years?!?! Bottom line, don't expect Jayco or their dealers to stand behind their product once it leaves the lot.

Quality control is none, our new unit was taken back to factory,it was there 6months service writer was useless we had to unloade the unit ,putting everything in storage as directed as one of the major items were screws coming thru the floor. My list can go on and on along with the Rainer tires they had me replace on its first trip and said I would be paid back which a year latter has not been done.THe glass splattered from the bath door, the fridge doors had the lock screws strpped .Next besides this they sent it back to az not done ,the bath door they replaced flew open into the new fridge door ,denying it , both these they just replaced ,the floor they put in has again screws coming up and the VIN all has bubbled everywhere ,I've asked for our money back with no success. They have now directed me to a dealer but they say it will be at least 2 weeks or more to fix it again. SO what do we do again empty this thing and where do we stay ? When is enough enough I ask.

Still major issues with service , we are waiting for some 40 items to be fixed it is in customer relations or lack of he knows nothing. Waiting for third floor, roof coming loose now we have to empty unit again and put things in storage, oh yes they say look at there warranty . I was told to read the warranty, which does not cover lived in units of six months a year, even though we do not, but just a warning for the many people that do. Just because a dealer sells Jayco does not mean they will service your product ,we were told take it back to the selling dealer . I called them and got no help , or owner call backs.bottom line read the fine print and do not buy product

Purchased RV April 2, 2015 as 1st time RV owners. In Nov., heater did not work. Service tech "relocated sail switch" at a cost to us of $152.50 for mileage. 4/15/16, refrigerator not cooling. Service tech argued with company re warranty and, supposedly, company agreed it was covered. However, cost to us of $202.50 for service call and "fridge test". Now, November 2016 refrigerator not cooling, hitch automatic switch not working, valve to propane tank not working. Very unhappy with our purchase.

This is the 3rd RV that we have purchased and by far, it has been the worst quality that we have ever seen. On the day of delivery, we found broken lights, the antennae were not caulked and the kitchen backsplash was “wavy”. The dealer repaired the lights and re-caulked the antennae. The dealer at the time did not have time to repair the backsplash. They stated that it probably was not secured correctly to the wall. Upon arriving home, we found that several of the electrical outlets did not work, resulting in our return trip to the dealer. Then on our very first camping trip the black tank started leaking, dumping sewage under the camper. We found out the fittings were not properly after taking it back to the dealer.

Once the RV was returned to the dealer for them to secure the kitchen backsplash, we were told there was a leak and that part of the kitchen would need to be replaced. The leak was repaired and part of the kitchen was also replaced. The dealer also found that several areas of the camper did not have the proper weather stripping, which could result in additional leaks.

Though out all this, we continued to notice a “strange” smell. We found out it was a major roof leak. The roof was not even attached to the front camp of the RV, water was flowing freely into the camper. This resulted in all the carpet and all the bedroom cabinets required replacement.

Our refrigerator has never worked right and nobody can find out what’s wrong with it. That’s not to mention our auto leveling system works when it wants to.

I will NEVER EVER purchase another Jayco product. Not even sure if I would take another Jayco product if it was given to me.

Totally agree with Ms. Helen. Bought this piece of crap in August 2015 and dumped it last July for a real motorhome! I filed a complaint with the BBB and also spoke with the powers to be at Jayco and was never offered any assistance until the 11th hour. Mr. Newcomer of Jayco stated in his letter to the BBB "a motorhome is like a house on wheels. You will experience it like a category 1 hurricane and a 7.0 earthquake!! We bought a 2015 Jayco Precept 31UL. THE WORST driving RV we have ever owned!! Our coach wondered all over the road. After everything was check, alignment, tire pressure etc., we were told we could purchase (approx $5000-$6000) aftermarket sway bars that might make it better. After talking to several other Jayco precept owners, we all feel that the chassis is overloaded. After our one and only trip, we sold this piece of junk and purchased a Newmar Dutch Star. Our first \"brand new rv\" has been a disappointment. The workmanship inside and out is lacking. Moldings inside loose and some hanging down after first outing. Bathroom handles loose and falling out of doors. Storage inside trailer should have input from women who utilize the area. Dining table isn\'t secure when used for meals due to poor fit of the poles supporting the table. There were also exterior problems like trim on wheel wells not on straight etc. we had a 2004 Jayco trailer that spoiled us and made us believe Jayco was worth the money. Not so anymore. And this is just stuff that we have found out since we have owned 30 days. Customer service doesn't care about it. Will never suggest buying another Jayco again! I bought this brand new and immediately had some problems., water leaks in wall(fittings not tightened during build), external propane line for bbq was so tight it was bent at 90 degrees cutting into the line. Jayco was soooo slow getting parts for warranty service. Over a month I waited. The roof ladder is very cheap, supposed to be rated for cold weather( my old trailer not rated for cold weather was better insulated), the roof leaked after one year and when I brought back, said not covered under warranty. The caulking cracked and which caused bug leak, should not have happened so fast. They put 15 amp breaker for all the plugs in living room, kitchen, and bunk area. Constantly pops breaker. Like other reviews I think Jayco is putting out a cheap product. They had such great reviews in past years, seems they may have grown to fast and their product is suffering. I would look else where when looking to buy an RV. Also they put 15 inch wheels on a 34 foot 5th wheel which limits the size of tire I can put on. They brag about how strong their roofs are, when I walk on the roof it flexes a lot more than my previous trailer. They also went cheap and only put one battery in the unit, not enough battery. I had another water leak in water fittings for a valve, even though still under warranty I fixed myself as I was afraid of how long it would take to fix.

I do love their floor plans. I have not had and issues with my cabinets they seem to be well built.

This is our 3rd season. Moldings and trim began coming un stapled. Year 1. Cabinet doors warped. Bedroom TV mounting location has no support behind the wall. Had to replace the mattress at the beginning of our second year and we only used it for 30 nights the year before. The base holding the mattress sunk in the middle so we had to rebuild it. The awning motor no longer works and it has only be used maybe 15 times.

Screws gets loose, cabinets wont hold weight, roof started to bubbles after their 2 year warranty expired, fridge have issues running propane, queen mattress uncomfortable, sofas cushions already gone, they use staples on walls instead of screws, and the fresh water tank holder broke just this summer. Was so disappointed with jayco product, the dealer we bought it from dont carry jayco anymore because of units coming with issues and problems and issues with warranty. Will never buy nor recommend jayco anymore

Plenty of storage, kitchen works great! The island adds so much versatility. Love the fireplace, it keeps the whole 5th wheel comfortable so we don\'t have to use our propane. My husband particularly loves the 2 recliners, we have even used them for sleeping (just take out the middle armrest.) The HVAC is so quiet, quieter than our Class A and cools quickly. There is also plenty of storage in the basement. Because of the light-weight, it pulls easily and the Mor/Ride pin box makes it a very smooth ride. Adding the inverter made it so the refrigerator keeps running while towing.

This is the first and the last 5th wheel We will ever purchase from the dealership we bought from. Bought it brand new in April 2015. couldn't even pick it up on time since they drove away with the front jacks down which had to be replaced and left the propane cylinder door open and the wind bent the door, which was replaced. On the day of pick up dealer pulled away with it still plugged in and yes a new one had to be installed. Once all items were fixed on that day, drove home and as we got close to our house almost 2 hrs away we lost all brakes. My husband got under truck and they had shorted out the emergency brakes on our truck while hooking up the wiring for the 5th wheel hitch. Once again we had to have our mechanic in town fix it and send the $160.00 bill to the dealership we bought from for payment by them. The Customer Service is the worst. Went camping June 10, when packing up to go home had to have neighbors come help push our slide in on our brand new trailer. We had mentioned to dealer that the slide does not close all the way, they said they can't do anything unless it is leaks. Nice thought isn't it, to have a brand new trailer that leaks. Finally on July 25 we took the trailer to dealership for repairs, toilet that leaks, bathroom vent that leaks , bathtub that leaks antenna handle that falls off and most of all the slide that won't open or close all the way. They do not communicate with you at all, do not answer emails or phone calls. We finally called them on August 26 and said we are taking trailer to go away Labor Day Weekend, of course it is not fixed. Remind you this has been a month. We lost all of August for camping, which is the season in NY. Came home to schedule them to come and pick up trailer this time to try and fix once again. Picked trailer up on September 23, 2016. Today is October 28, we still have no trailer, last communication was that the parts would be in for the slide on October 19, 2016. Once again we lost out on the last camping weekend in NY, Columbus Day. It is now October 28, 2016, and still no word.

This has been a camping nightmare.

They have offered to make 2 payments for us as a settlement, but want us to sign off on any claims on the trailer. Yea right.
When it gets fixed, We might think about it.

Its not a money issue. When you buy a brand new product, you expect brand new. Our 2008 Keystone Springdale pull behind trailer was in better condition.

Good luck to anyone who purchases an RV from Them.

The floor plan is great and feels roomy.
There’s a nice sized pantry and a roomy linen closet. The trailer is easily towed with a 1/2 tonTundra.
Would highly recommend for a couple or small family.

Jayco j flight 154 bh. We have had this trailer over 2 years, only one issue was the propane regulater replacement, but cost nothing due to Jayco warrantee. This camper pulls well , no sway bar needed. The tanks are small fresh is 16 ,g, black is 9 or 10 gal & the grey is 15. Camper is cozy heater & air conditioning works well! I did do some modifications, first we do winter camping so I added installation to the wiring & piping holes coming in the unit it helped.Second added a second deep cycle battery & yes there is room for a second with the size box the unit came with. Third & the only design flaw I don't like about this couch is the dining table is not secured to the floor so therefore you have to travel with the table to a bed otherwise the table slides into the cabinets denting them up.so i drilled a hole through the bottom of one leg & anchored it down with a anchor stud with a thumb screw. The bunks are rated for 300 lbs i have slept on top I am 200 no problem, but i would suggest adding 4 inch foam under the thin mattress for adult use. These are good units for short trips or long but with a few more dumps & water fills, which most parks have dump stations & water supplied to paying customers. I would recommend this trailer for anyone on a budget & 4 people max.

Drives great, but quality is lacking. Keyless entry quit working, coach door won't open when sun is shining on the door side. Exterior molding in coming off due to screws backing out at all 4 corners where coach walls meet the front and back fiberglass caps. Jayco advertises that it holds 74 gallons of fuel. It really only holds 49 gallons when the low fuel light come on. Jayco won't stand behind any of these problems due to the motorhome is 2 years old. Also is kept in a enclosed garage while not in use.

I have just purchased a 2014 Jayco Eagle from a private sale. Nice looking 5th wheel ! Soon after I brought it home I began to realize that the beauty was in fact only skin deep! The cabinets are made from a MDF board which is best described as compressed sawdust with binders. It is covered with a vinyl wrap that makes it look like wood. When the kitchen slide is retracted, the rug rubs against the cabinet and has literally torn the cabinet wood apart! It is also failing in other areas as well. I contacted Jayco but they offered no assistance since I am not the original owner even thought they asked me to send pictures of the defects. They simply did not care! They choose not to be responsible for the shoddy materials in their construction. For those of you who have MDF in your camper you should research the possible health problems that can be caused release of formaldehyde gases from this product. There has been warnings on the use of MDF. The interiors of this almost new camper is falling apart. The camper was only lightly used by adults, no kids no pets and it has failed the test.

This RV tows really well. I had a job in Denver for several months beginning in Sept. 2014 through Sept. 2015. I was very pleased with the fact that I didn't have to burn a lot of LP to keep it comfortable in the cold season as well as cool during the summer. The bunk beds in the cargo area, are easily moved out of the way to the top of the coach. The ramp can be utilized as a patio with railing. I used the cargo area as my office with plenty of room to spare. I really liked the 2 TV's. All appliances work real well. 2 refrigerators come in handy. Nice looking RV. Will get some pictures of the unit shortly.

I purchased my 2014 Jayco RedHawk from the dealer. The first year the generator stop working due to bad wiring, lucky Cummins honored their products and repaired at no cost. In May 2016 during our Memorial Day camping trip, I notice two odd bolts lying on the ground under the passenger side slide. I discovered that the bolts dropped out from both slide rails. Upon further inspection I noticed that the remaining bolts are loose or missing. The slide now leaks and does not close completely. I\'m now being told that it will take several weeks to get approval from the extended warranty folks thus causing me to end my summer RV trips with my family. Thank GOD....I noticed the bolts on the ground or I would have never known that they dropped out. Please check your slide rails for any loose or missing bolts.

Very, very poor construction quality. Every system has broken or malfunctioned. We go on a trip and return straight to the dealer for repairs. Thank goodness we are still under warranty. Latest problem is we picked unit up from indoor winter storage and trim had waited and pulled away from walls. Cabinet doors have fallen apart. Last year rhe automatic step broke, trim fell apart, window treatment fell off the wall, refrigerator broke three times, etc. The first uear we owned it, all the alarm systems malfunctioned, and the front panel of the truck developedlarge vertical cracks...the entire panel had to be replaced. The yruck can heating and air conditioning have never been adequate.

We love this Class A . We did have a few issues which Jayco is in the process of fixing. The cab AC unit never worked Jayco would not listen to the RV shop people, took weeks to get the parts from Jayco. The slide needed to be ripped out and redone, still waiting on that. The outside storage doors lift up which is a pain. I see Jayco corrected that with the 2015 model.

To drive the GrayHawk was easy and pleasurable. Smooth ride with no sway or bounce. The Patented J-Ride is a dream come true. The ability to walk through and utilize the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen is a convience that most other models can’t offer. I drive this over a 17 day period logging 4,215 miles. Minimal driver fatigue.
My one complaint is the original on-demand hot water heater was less than acceptable. It’s lack of efficiency was almost dangerous on many occasions. I took it upon myself to contact the heater mfg. (Girard) and they, through testing determined that our heater was faulty and probably so from day one. The unit was replaced with the current version 1.2 and it works like any hot water heater should.
If given the chance I would purchase and/or recommend to my family and friends.

We like the trailer a lot, however, there was a problem with weak springs and too long of an axle, which ruined the tires. Jayco would not back up their product claiming we had overloaded the trailer. We would have had to put 500 lbs of food and clothes in it to be overloaded. They tried to blame everyone they could think of. Their return calls were sporadic. They need to improve their customer service department.

Manufacturer lies about insulation factor and how well it works keep heat and cold out. Construction must be done by ammatures without supervision. Poorly installed shades, awnings, drawers. Engineering nonexistant. Idiots installed awning so door won't open if awning tilted. Cheap foam insuation, must have saved at least a hundred bucks. Ac piping smaller than hole cut for it so air goes around piping and not in trailer. Have to be a contortionist to get too hotwater bypass and some drain valves. Nose of trailer gets so hot due to dark color. I guess the geniuses in engineering don't know dark colors absorb heat. Thats why ac cover is black too. If you have all day to wait for land geer to come down ypu will enjoy the electric and not hydraulic system. Must have been a few dollars cheaper too. Plan on painting the frame bumper, steps, axels and any metal parts on the underside. They ar so cheaply painted its already rusting when you buy the trailer. Another ingenius engineering blunder is the skylights that allow heat in generously. If you ate in 95 degree heat, plan on 87 inside. Totally dissatisfied and will never by jayco.

We bought our dream RV in 2014. New off the lot. As a fifth wheel, it pulled great. 1200 miles away from home, bedroom slide quit working while it was out. The fresh water tank after being filled, would arrive at destination with only 2/3 of water. Then the fourth year that we owned it, belly was sagging. So upon examination, found not one but two crossmembers broken letting frame of trailer at running gear spread. Called the factory and man I talked to said problem was a warranty issue and trailer was out of warranty. He would not admit that issue was shoddy product and really a safety issue. Then on top of that, I'm supposed to crawl under it and inspect it on a regular basis. And this with a totally enclosed belly. Had to borrow trailer to take vacation.

I am highly disappointed with dealer and the Jayco Swift Featherlite camper that they sold us. We were told that the WINDOW unit would be adequate enough to cool down our camper. That was a blatant lie! We cannot even enjoy our camper and feel as if we wasted our money. It is currently 98 degrees outside and 89 degrees in our camper! That is ridiculous! We bought this camper so that our children could enjoy the outdoor life and camping experiences. Now they just complain anytime we mention camping because they know it will be so hot. I like the trailer.

My dealer is a slimy business to the point I wish I had given up on the Jayco quality and bought a Rockwood trailer for quite a bit less because the dealer was a much nicer business to deal with.

I have read numerous comments on the internet that "Jayco loves their owners and would not want anyone to say they regret a Jayco purchase". I have tried to contact Jayco a few times. On one occasion the Cusomter Service Department told me they took that seriously and would have whoever deals with the dealer call me the following Monday as he was travelling in Europe.

I don't know that Jayco does care about people regretting their purchase.

This is the 2nd Jayco we've owned. The durability and quality of Jaycos are excellent. Canvas is very sturdy, good storage for the size campers we've had and though a tad on the heavier side, its a great buy. We like that the exterior is made of fiberglass vs aluminum. We've been in some pretty crazy rainstorms with this camper and have had no danage or leaking.

Only downside I can think of is the small shower. Really not useable if you are older than 7. But, having the sink and toilet are great. The beds are nice and roomy. Sleeping areas feel nice and big, not cramped or crowded.

Would definitely purchase another Jayco!

We bought this unit when it was 1 year old. I have to agree with many of the other reviews that the quality of this unit is no where near what you would expect. We have several screws coming up through the lino, wallboard seam tape falling off, screws falling out of outside access doors, replaced tires first trip out etc. When I contacted customer service at Jayco fellow I was talking with got quite snotty. Because I was not the 'original ' owner, sucks to be me. In all fairness, I've been reading reviews of other brands and there doesn't seem to be anybody out there that provide a quality product in a 5th wheel.

We had owned previous to the Purchase of the Jayco, a used Cedar Creek. In shopping around for a new unit, We were immediately impressed by the rear kitchen.. What room we had WITHOUT the island in the middle. We never felt we bought the wrong 5th wheel. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, we need to give it up.. Our children always complimented us on how beautiful this was. We always were asked by strangers in our resort where we had it parked, if they could check out the floor plan.. Everyone agreed that the rear kitchen was unique and agreed on a stationary island took up so much room. I would buy a Jayco again and again...

I have never seen such a lack of pride from a manufacturer. It's like the people at the factory don't own a measuring tape. Curtains on the wall crooked. Cabinets crooked. Every sticker on the entire trailer is put on crooked. Do these workers have no pride whatsoever in what they do? The design is very nice but the quality? The bathroom cabinet was mounted hanging below the cabinet so they didn't have to bother putting a handle on it. Cabinet doors crooked. Someone needs to tell these guys that people pay crazy prices for poor quality tin boxes in the first place. The least they can do is put them together straight.

We had our Jayco Melbourne for 5 years and it has been a great Motorhome. It has many features that are only found on much larger and more expensive moterhomes. The overall quality has been outstanding with only a few small repairs needed. We love taking road trips where everyone can ride together and enjoy the journey. We have been from California to Key West to New York and had a great time. For the size and the price our Melbourne has been a great value.

We received our trailer with a few things that needed to be done some was done we still have a lot of cause medical things to be done the antenna didn't work we've had a few dents and scratches that was delivered that way they are to be fixed I'm waiting to see if these things get done I have faith that Jim's trailer will do as they say we take at the end of next year to be fixed as an agreement that we have worked out because we seasonal camp and my husband husband wasn't able to take the deck down that Jim's allowed us to bring it at the end of 2015 we had over eighteen things that had to be fixed so we'll see I know somethings are just cosmetic but when you pay big dollars for a camper expect them to be it to be nice and that's what I expect I didn't buy a used camper can't rate the driveability or towing because we haven't done it

This travel trailer is spacious with the large slide out. The double queen sized bunks are great for kids to have friends stay with them or for other quests. The entertainment center has a TV that can be spun around to be viewed from either the master bedroom or the main living space. The bathroom has a second entry door so the kids don't have to constantly track trough the whole camper. The exterior compartment fridge is another great feature so as not to have to go in and out of the unit just to get a drink. The unit is also very easy to with a half ton truck at just 5400 lbs. dry weight.

Only taken out less than 10 times but one of the best investments ever. Arctic edition, so all pipes and wires are inside the under carriage insulation and never froze on me through a brutally cold winter last year when I lived in this. Outside fridge, electrical plugs and cable out front for the ultimate outdoor entertainer! All electric jacks/awning/slide make for easy set-up. Easily towable with a 1/2 ton truck. I lived in this last winter here in TN through the snow and ice storms with no issues.

Ultra lift weight easy to tow. Jayco did a great job designing this trailer. Great layout and spacious. The "L" shaped kitchen counter make the kitchen area seem more like home. The ducted A/C is quiet and so comfortable because of the ability to direct the airflow where needed. The power awning is super easy to open/close by flipping a switch which saves so much setup time. The full length LED light strip under the awning is also a great feature. We highly recommend this travel trailer.

It even has a bathtub! Microwave 2 way fridge, kitchen pantry and lots of storage, all the holding tanks and it only weighs 2300 wt. It tows beautifully easy to hook up very senior friendly! We really appreciate the way it is put together and the queen bed is very comfortable. Its hard to believe everything that is in this little trailer. I own a 2013 33 foot RLDS.
What ever could be crooked on this trailer is.
Valances are all crooked around the windows. Caulking is squished out around all of the trim. The ladder is even mounted crooked.
I spent 2 hours on my back underneath the thing just tying up wires and hoses that were just strung over whatever was there and left to chafe on whatever sharp edge there was.
Cheap materials used in everything. The pump for the water was left hanging against the wall under the sink to vibrate the entire wall when it runs. No pipe holes were filled so that mice get in the trailer.
No thought whatsoever was put into where to locate switches and plugs. Every single plug in the entire trailer is on one breaker.
Bolts in the slides stick down far enough to chafe on the side of the trailer. Plumbing is not secured so it won't break.
Wires run around the battery were just tied in a ball instead of being tied up properly to look right.
The frame is barely painted, so needed to be undercoated to keep it from rusting.
The drains for the tanks are so flimsy that they are breaking off.
The sides are tied with flimsy metal strips that are crooked.
How can a manufacturer turn out such garbage? Do you not take any pride whatsoever in your product?
Does anyone even work in quality control?
Do the people working in the factory even own measuring tapes?
You throw together a bunch of shoddy work and then charge big money for it.
Shame on you

Although small this trailer has features of a much larger RV. It is perfect for short trips and campers who spend a lot of time outdoors. It sleeps four comfortably. The bathroom is larger than some we've seen in large motorhomes and it has lots of storage. The quality of this trailer is the absolute nicest one I have seen anywhere in the lite category. We like the floorplan especially having the large bathroom in the front. The trailer is really easy to tow. It is perfect for a small SUV, light truck or car.

This trailer has a lot of great features, a very open floorplan especially with the pop up TV that allows everyone in the trailer to view it, a roomy bathroom with a huge medicine cabinet, and a boatload of storage throughout! Appliances sip propane, tanks last forever, the elegant personally designed double battery box, makes extended boondocking easier. This trailer will sleep 6 to 8 people. I tow this trailer with a 2011 Ford F150 XLT with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine, hardly know it's behind me. Anti sway load distributing hitch is easy to use and doesn't require too much heavy lifting to set up or take down. This trailer is so roomy you could use it as another home.

It's been great living in this RV for two years. I love the wardrobe space, pantry, and storage. The only thing I would change is to have the wardrobe slide out with the couch instead of it being only a half length slide out (6ft). We haven't had any problems with it so far but we strongly recommend sealing around every seam, outlet, light, or accessory on the outside because we noticed Jayco only does the top half at the factory. This could be a problem in Florida especially during heavy sideways rains. Also recommend a stabilizer for towing as it makes everything a lot smoother.

We like our Jay Feather, but recently we had trouble with the brakes. Took it to Ketelsen RVs, the dealer we bought it from and found that three of the brakes had never been used. We have been stopping it with our truck and just one brake. This should have been adjusted at the factory. We also were told the grease was inferior and had leaked from bearings to the brake pads. The three brakes that were not being used had cobwebs in them. The brake that was being used had a part break and was missing, the noise from it is how we discovered we had a problem. Safety wise this is unacceptable quality. I spent over $700 repairing them. We bought the camper new and use it only a few times a year. We will have seriously to consider this problem when we decide to buy another camper.

My wife and I bought this trailer new and use it about twice a year. We regret the purchase. The key fob that lifts the top does not work. The refrigerator broke two months after warranty ran out. It is unrepairable. The cover on the breaker box fell apart. A slight nudge will cause the table to collapse. Wood surround on the range top crumbled. Support for sink when folded, fell off. We traded our Melbourne 26A on this larger coach and love, love, love the extra space afforded by the opposing slide-outs in the living area. The aerodynamics of this coach make it easy to handle in a crosswind and when passing 18 wheelers. We spent time in the Rockies and the V-10 had no trouble climbing even towing a 4500 lb Ford C-Max. Lots of great memories “camping” with grandsons on several cross country trips. Motorized couch converts to a double bed; dinette converts to a short almost double bed. We camped in 45 of the &lower 48 states and were very happy with the A/C in the heat and with the heater when it was cold. The 5kw generator has been outstanding and the automatic hydraulic levelers are awesome! Plus, we think this is one of the very best-looking rigs on the road. Wouldn’t have anything else.

we liked everything about the camper. our problem, was that it was to big for us. Otherwise it was a great. it has an 18 foot awning and a great deal of storage. the bunk beds are rated at 600 lbs. I said they only sleep one but are capable of sleeping two.

Great RV, made very well. Jayco makes a good product. Like having the built in generator, if you don't have power. 3 slide outs really opens up the floor plan. Drives nice, lots of power with the 450 v10 engine. Large awning easy to put up.

This Toy Hauler is one of the best ever made....We will miss it. The only reason we are selling it is because our family has got smaller with most kids now grown and gone, only one left. It is now to big for those that remain. I hunt a lot and in hauling my two quads and gear there was plenty of room in the separate garage which sleeps four people too.

What sold us was the kitchen bar sink and counter space. Very roomy and comfortable, I can't say enough about it!

This RV has been excellent for our family. Our situation has changed and with little use this past year and not seeing much use next year we decided we need to let this go instead of just letting it sit. We have driven this motorhome all over the western US pulling a Jeep on a trailer and it has performed awesome. It drives really nice and is comfortable to drive.

I bought my Jayco Designer in the winter of 2008 as my primary home - lived in it for 5 years full time. There are 11 overhead storage compartments in the living room, an entertainment center with 4 large storage areas, under sofa storage, 8 drawers in the kitchen - I could go on. The garage is heated, there is a separate space for a generator - there are so many practical features in this RV. I love using the fireplace for both heat and ambiance. I have continued to use it as my summer home in the mountains and never found it lacking - nothing else compares in quality.

The A frame hitch is very cheep design. It is easy to bend and Jaco just shrugged their shoulders. The water tank sits at the front so that weight really bears on the hitch when hitting bumps. The furnace is at the back. So by the time it get to the bedroom in the front, it's too cool to really get the job done.

I have had nothing but problems with the plastic bumper they put on the rear of this trailer. I have replaced it three times now due to cracking of the mounting bolts that hold the bumper in place. They run the entire length of the bumper and render it unsafe to travel down the road because it could fall off. Multiple contacts with Jayco has proven poor customer service on this product. I have replaced the bumper three times now at a cost of $500.00 per time. This is a poor engineering design with no remedy by the manufacturer. I wont buy another Jayco product.

My husband and I took our Jayco to the Oregon beach and we stayed at several of the 1000 trails along the coast. We used the hook up for this trip, but we had a blast. It was like home away from home, but at the beach!!!

Another trip we went to a lake and dry camped several days. We had plenty of water to cook with and showers for both of us. The batteries lasted the entire time as well as the large propane bottles it comes with. We were fully self contained in our home away from home in the woods at a lake. It was perfect.

This 5th Wheel is perfect for any size family. The Bunk House Model is outstanding for privacy for all. It is awesome for either dry camping or in a campground and the storage space is abundant! The fact that it sleeps up to 11 people is fantastic. We spent many rainy days inside playing games or watching a movie with the Digital Surround Sound. The double large sinks are fantastic as is the size of the grey, black and fresh water tanks. There is a heater and A/C, and the construction of this unit makes it easy to heat and cool. We have spent many enjoyable weeks of quality family time in this 5th Wheel. It pulls very well, and has a very nice size fridge/freezer.

For this being a 30 foot trailer I think the space could have been utilized better. It's roomy and I love that it can sleep up to 10 little people! Perfect for a large family! The two main changes I would make are to add DOORS vs sliding privacy screens for a few reasons. It's nice to have full privacy and in the bunk area it would really make it the kids room.
I love that it has 3 separate cable hook ups for that same reason people like to watch tv where it's comfortable...their beds!
The other thing is drawers...there are NONE. It makes up for it in cabinet space-using plastic bins and dividers to help organize everything.
The bathroom is small but if my 6"1 275 husband can shower in there almost any one can too.
It is really light to tow for the size of it! Easy to pull with a half ton.

Downsized to a Class C from a 40' deisel pusher due to health issues. It took a while to get used to less space, but enjoyed the instant manouverability and parking that the smaller TV offered.
The few long multistage trips we took offered some seat time, and was pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable it was to drive long distances. I towed a small Volvo behind it with no issues. It offered plenty of power with the V8 engine.
The living area was a little cramped compared to what we were used to, but once we figured out what not to bring along, it offered sufficient space. All other appliance aspects were almost the same.
We can't complain about anything with this unit. I did the job it was made for and even though it's an older RV, it still offered a reliable travel unit, with most of the comforts of home.

I love the quality of this unit. Very durable and well insulated. Stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The dark window probably contribute to that as well. I can't comment on the towing, I have never personally pulled it. The self leveling works great, again only used it twice. It has a very spacious living area and large bathroom. The shear beauty of the unit excites me.

Class C good for short trips not enough closets for long trips the 3150 Jayco is great for towing the a/c 15000 BTU works great, the 35000 BTU furnace works great, the slice out give a lot of room, Loved the lay out and adminaties. All 31\' Class c\'s need larger wheels to carry the weight of a Class C. The Jayco has a better quality that some of the other manufactors.

Absolutely loved this RV!!! I specifically sought this floor plan out as it is a smaller RV so is great in out of the way campsites and availability, but has a separate bedroom which was a must. The engine is powerful so made going up hills/mountains great. I had to have a slide out for the spaciousness, was easy to set up/tear down. There is lots of storage both in and under the RV. The overcab is spacious. I would highly recommend this Jayco RV to anyone interested in RV'ing. It is a great starter RV or for someone down sizing. A bit small if living fulltime.

This RV is a very nice and liveable, It pulls very good and I pull a boat or a tr. behind this RV, with no trouble. It looks good and also very little service needed. We live in it for long periods of time and it's great for fishing / hunting with 4000w onan generater that operates from inside. This is a sound reliable RV. Thanks

Loved the floor plan and towed easily We are leaving all pots and pans and everything that you would need to start camping. Need a little TLC { like cleaning the outside} no warranty always took camper to local dealer for repairs when needed.

THE TOWING IS SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN A REGULAR TRAILER AND MY SPOUSE GIVES IT A 10+ FOR THAT. SOMETIMES I FEEL THAT I HAVE NOTHING BEHIND ME! WE HAVE HAD SOME REPAIRS OVER THE 17 YEARS BUT I WOULD RATE THIS JAYCO AS STURDY AND VERY WELL BUILT TO INCLUDE ITEMS SUCH AS THE APPLIANCES, HVAC AND QUALITY OF MATERIALS USED INSIDE. THOUGH NOT FULL TIMERS WE HAVE DISCUSSED RIG QUALITY WITH OTHERS AND COME AWAY WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE HAVE A QUALITY UNIT. TAKING CARE OF MINOR ISSUES
HAS CERTAINLY MAINTAINED THE QUALITY AND APPEARANCE OF THE UNIT. QUESTIONED I HAVE RAISED WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND THEIR RESPONSE ALLOWED US KEEP ITEMS IN GOOD WORKING ORRDER. WE ARE AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED THAT WE BOUGHT THIS UNIT AFTER LOOKING AT SO MANY OTHERS BEFORE MAKING A FINAL DECISION.

This has been a very good quality Rv. We made two trips to Mich where I had an accident and broke my back pretty bad. My wife lived in it for three months while I was in the hospital.

I love this rv, the oak cabinetry complete decor rear kitchen with lots of counter space to prepare food and leave cooking utensils out. this unit has a tub and shower which my wife requires. It tows quite nicely with a 1/2 ton truck with a dry weight of only 7326 lbs. The only problem I have is Iam 6ft 4 in and I find the bedroom a little low. The other is a step inside the door which we are continually tripping on. This is a quality RV which I wouldn't be afraid to take anywhere.

Before buying a Jayco trailer check out the service. We have contacted 3 dealers for service and were able to speak in person to only one person. No dealer has called back about service or service providers. Checked with dealer and was told that only Jayco can provide parts and service. We are not happy with the Jayco company.

Pros: Towability, ease of setup, size, quality, weight, decor, sleeping arrangement.
Cons: Interior height, no bathroom, no waste tanks.
Overall a good quality camper which fulfills a little frills experience.
