Nice, affordable luxury Class A motorhome. Itasca is made by Winnebago and one of the few brands I would own or recommend to my friends. An Itasca is an upgraded Winnebago! My career in the RV industry started in in 1980. Solid value, no depreciation like buying from a dealer, and you don’t tie up a lot of cash in an extra vehicle. Perfect for tailgating, weekend trips with kids, over the road extended trips, or Snowbirds. We even used it during extended power outages in Atlanta. We took it to a couple of Nascar races and was a great base for the weekend.
We used it to go to the kids swim meets and outdoor activities . . . talk about the ultimate SUV! Pull into your spot and level the RV without leaving the driver’s seat with four hydraulic leveling jacks. Push another button and the slide-out extends which greatly expands your living area. Dual Coleman roof air conditioners keep you cool in the summer, and a furnace that will keep you warm on cold December nights. Electricity anytime by pushing the button on the Onan 4000 watt generator, run the microwave, charge phones and tablets, etc. Extend the 23' patio awning for plenty of outside space. Easy to use kitchen with oven, 3 burner stove, dual stainless sink, and large refrigerator and freezer.
I keep it in reliable mechanical condition as never did or wanted to break down on the road. Tires are good and brakes were checked when tires purchased a few years ago. Seldom driven the past five years . . . how time flies when kids go off to college. Lots of storage inside and outside. Great floor plan!
I have owned this motorhome for 10 years and have history of maintenance and repairs. Never smoked in and typically my family of four used it for weekends and a few spring breaks. Sleeps up to six. Queen bed in separate rear bedroom. Comfortable bathroom and has shower. 45,200 miles approx. Ford 460 V8 gas engine, automatic transmission. Towing hitch can pull boat or extra vehicle up to capacity. This RV drives smoothly and is nice and stable at freeway speeds. Easier to maneuver and park than you might think. My 21 year old son handles it very well after less than an hour practicing starting, stopping and backing up at the local fairgrounds.
In the interest of disclosure, this RV had leaks in the roof, as do most RV's older than 3 years(some RV's leak even before 3 years, but that is another story). Leaks have been fixed, but recommend checking roof seals every couple of years. Cruise control and dash AC work sporadically, as does rear view camera. Rear bumper has a crease in it and rear corner met a fire hydrant so there is a small dent in the corner cap. Outside decals have faded over time and the fiberglass body washes up nicely, but could be waxed. A couple of drawer sliding brackets have broken, but replacements are included. Good overall condition.
According to the NADA Guides the average retail is $18,275 and the low retail is $15,535 for my zip code 30265 (Newnan, GA). Make a fair offer and it is yours. I have clear and clean title. Dealers, Warranty providers - I don't need help selling this. Thanks anyway.
