About this dealership

In the 1940’s Walter Byerly, a cabinet maker, began building travel trailers in the basement of his home in Kirkwood, Missouri. By 1948 Byerly Trailer & Manufacturing Company was officially organized and moved into its first building on Manchester Road in Des Peres. In 1966 John Patton bought Byerly Trailer and by the early 1970’s the company moved into a new facility at Manchester and Weidman Road in Manchester, Missouri. As the company expanded, the focus became providing quality RV parts & service. The parts store carried many difficult to find accessories purchased directly from RV manufacturers in Elkhart, Indiana. The store motto, “We have it, can get it, or it ain’t,” was a testament to Byerly’s ability to stock the hardest to find RV parts in the area. In 1984 Russell Patton bought the company from his father, John. During the following years he would cultivate the brand of Byerly through quality service, excellent value, and the well-known local jingle heard throughout the St. Louis region, “For the rest of your life.” Russell told stories of the RV lifestyle and the history of Byerly RV on radio and through Outpost magazine. In 1999 Byerly completed the construction of its current headquarters in Eureka, Missouri and coined the slogan, “The Center of the RV World.” Russell commissioned two local artists to paint the iconic murals, which have been featured in RV Business Magazine, on the walls of the new showroom. Since moving to Eureka, Byerly has become the dominant motorhome & travel trailer dealership, the largest retail service center, the largest RV parts/accessories store, and the largest RV rental center in the region. Byerly RV is a member of the Priority RV Network which has over 100 independently owned locations in North America. The Priority RV Network is the number one seller of new RV’s in North America. Byerly RV is also a member of RVRD a national network of RV rental dealers dedicated to providing a superior RV rental experience not offered by national chains.
