2006 Holiday Rambler Endevor Class A Diesel Pusher
I have owned a popup, bumper pull, a 5th wheel and this is my first Motorhome and we love it. Due to my wifes health, we have decided to sell it. It has 79,000 miles and we have used it as often as we can. We took out the carpet and replaced it with vinyl plank flooring, looks good and the musty smell is gone. It has a "tracking" satellite on top and two new TVs. The reason we picked a Holiday Rambler is that it is solid built and structural rigidty which makes it very safe. Holiday Rambler is made by Monaco and has a roadmaster chassis and a 400hp Cummins diesel engine, which makes going up through the mountains easier, I incourage you to look at Holiday Rambler and Monaco plant tour on YouTube. You will see these coaches are built right and made to last, not like some of the competators. It also has a 8000 watt Onan generator and with one push of a button start the generator that makes "boondocking" possible. We were in Albuqueque for the Hot Air Festival and used our generator for 4 days almost full time and only used about 14 gallons of diesel. Coming home we stopped at campgrounds that had full hookups so we could use our stackable washer and dryer and not have dirty clothes when we got home.
When camping in the summer it is very nice to be able to come inside and enjoy the air conditioning, which there is a new front A/C unit and the one in back is blowing 48 degrees. The zone A/C is nice if you want the bedroom to be cooler than the living room. We also have a new cooling unit for the refrigerator so the food and milk stays fresh, at 37 to 41 degree. Cooking is not a problem, there is a three burner stove and a Sharp carousel convection oven/microwave/vent fan. You can bake your breakfast biscuits in about 8 minutes. While cooking and enjoying beautiful Corian countertop throughout the motorcoach. The refrigerator is LP or electric and so is the hot water heater. The shower is big enough for a person 6ft 3 to get clean, wash your hair and turn around. There is a seperate room for the toilet with a sink and storage.
We have LED lights and day/night shades so we can enjoy a bright environment or a dark one. Awnings over the windows and the door and an elctric patio awning. There is plenty of storage inside the coach in the living room and a lot in the bedroom even under the queen size bed. The mattress is a home style queen mattress, that is about 4 years old and has been slept on less than 90 nights very comfortable. The under bed storage where the extra kitchen chairs are stored. Basement storage has roll out trays and give you a lot of storage, it is also heated so you can camp in the winter without worrying about frozen pipes. The coach has 4 slides two in the living room and two in the bedroom. There are two Flexsteel sofa/sleeper that converts to roomie beds, with sheet and blanket storage underneath. When we were in Oklahoma and family came to the campground to visit, we brought some lawn chairs in (it was raining outside) and seated 12 people comfortablely.
If you decide to stay the night at a Wal Mart parking lot and it is not quite level, don't worry, with the computerized Leveling system, push one button and everything else is done automatically. It dumps the air out of the automatic air ride leveling system, and with the built in gyroscope, it knows exactly what it needs to do next to make your Motorhome level and secure.
