We chose Heartland based on positive reviews and the great floor plan, however the overall quality is horrible, very disappointed. Sheet metal Screws were driven through the rubber seals they hold, slide out seals slid off when slides were extended, sheet metal around fenders not correctly cut, rear ramp seals don’t seal, you can actually see daylight, front storage compartment has water seal leak, sealing tape on slideout roof was wrinkled and actually falling off, metal trim divider was cut at 8 ft on a 10 ft run, I quess they have no 10 ft sections and not sealed metal exposed, fenders were loose, fuel tank fill cap bezel had 3 of the 4 screws broken and snapped off , these are just some of the issues e have discovered when we took the time to really look at the unit. We have not even camped in it yet. On another note, the interior walls are flimsy with little support around the ac controls, All of the wood trim is stapled and you can see each and every staple utilized.I understand this is not a high end high dollar unit but the build quality and the factory final quality inspection is poor at best.

With what you charge for a travel trailer these days you should be ashamed of the mattresses you put in your trailers I would be more comfortable sleeping on the floor, it feels like I am sleeping on a box spring.i went and bought a topper for the mattress but a lot of good that did. Love my trailer but being able to sleep in a comfortable bed is a very important part of a trailer also. You shouldn't have to go out and pay for another matress when the one in the trailer is new. Shame on you is all i have to say, my last purchase.

We purchased this unit brand new in January 2018. Since then, it has been to the shop twice for repairs and we have yet to take it on a trip. The unit doesn't come with a spare tire. It has been returned for the following repairs: bent trim on the refrigerator, bubbles in the linoleum, and non-working light strip remote for the awning. As soon as it got home from that repair trip (the awning lights still don't work with the remote), we noticed that the track for the sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom had come out of the ceiling (it was screwed into just the paneling, not a stud) and about half the screws for the leg cups on the bottom of the table were missing or barely hanging in. The service center we purchased the unit from has provided terrible customer service, but Heartland also declined the repair to the refrigerator. When I emailed Heartland about all of the issues, their response was "That is why there is a manufacturer warranty." At this point, since it is the beginning of camping season, all defects/issues will be documented and at the end of the season we will take the unit back to the shop for the next set of repairs. I anticipate there will be many more given the experience we have already had. I only hope they are not mechanical and don't happen in the middle of a trip.

We also have had a lot of issues with our 2018 model, a lot of shoddy
Workmanship. Tv wiring all not properly done right, .in transit even though tv locked in place it swung out and bounced for couple of hours, tore the cabinetry splitting stuff husband had to repair himself, safe came loose...it was a mess! Propane bottle leaked out all of it due to regulator, had to find rv store to get new one , panel next to fridge is buckled out and came loose from wall, affects the half back also. We think slide out is out of whack somehow . Pantry door swings open in transit and all drawers come out bouncing (I can't imagine how drawers stayed together , but husband had to fix bottom of all drawers cause "staples" weren't holding.. washer and drier are the worse!!!! Takes an hour and a half and clothes won't spin water out, and drier won't dry clothes after 2 hours. Fresh water tank slushes out 1/3 of water after you fill it when traveling , husband had to repair that,, there was loose duct work blocking ac vent , a lot of drawers won't stay shut in transit, it's as if the clips aren't holding tight and some of these drawers are empty.
Bed is king and us almost impossible to make up every morning ., ice maker won't make ice on generator power. Oven fan is VERY loud, the closet is in bathroom, but in order to turn on light you have to come BACK to bedroom.. can't get tv to pick up ant cable channels . There's more, I'm running out of room..... I think we've just bought a LEMON!! We've had soooo many things go wrong we've had to fix ourselves because we are on the road., and the rv dealerships (since we didn't buy from them ,put you on back burner and tell you it will be 2 weeks to fix anything , so my husband has been doing it himself so far.

after 3 months living full time in our m33 Iam somewhat comfortable my wife is not(no room to cook. Today is 1-1-18 and it is -19 with a wind chill of -30+, 15 days now. Finding it challenging to keep warm and water running. We have all pipes wrapped with heat tape and additional Quartz heaters.Lots of ice on walls and windows,no insulation on mallard heat ducts.Had 2 120gal propane tanks installed 15 days ago and the will be empty by weeks end.

Hello winter campers, Ken here with some more interesting facts about the quality and safety of living in this mallard.Along with wondering how long it will be before the floors rot out and the black mold starts, we have another serious problem.Seems though this whole trailer wiring is on one 15amp circut breaker for the 110 ac outlets they all go out drying your hair or making coffee. Do Not Buy A Mallard from campers world chichester nh.They will not help you. By the way, yes it is still cold -5 this am with a wind chill -25

Hello full timers'
Just another problem with the Quality and workmanship of Heartland rvs. Last night our roof started leaking and guess where, right over my bed in the front of the trailer.
Anyone else out there ready to join me in a lawsuit against these people, and get some laws passed to protect us?

We purchased the camper November 2016 overall is not a bad camper we like floorplan originally wanted to try to get an extra AC but it was not wire for another AC. The AC is not large enough for the summer time unless you Park under some trees then it might work. The slide out did not go out as far as it should we had it fixed. The black tank fill out from under the camper. Upon inspection of an RV mechanic it never was installed properly. I did confirm this by telling him when we brought it home and set it up I know for a fact that the tank was hanging below the frame a little bit he found the screw that was broken in their. I did not know that the tank was for the Blackwater I just knew there was something there. So we got him to fix it and just paid him did not try to run it through warranty figure that would be a hassle. Then the valve that runs the commode started leaking a pinhole crack in it so we ordered an you water module again were not going to warranty with it. We purchased the camper in Charleston South Carolina We decided just to do it out of pocket.
As I said before we like the camper because of the Windows and more open space in the living area. We live on a lake and have a view all the way around. As far as we are concerned it's and 8 out of 10 because it feels our needs. It says I have to rate the manufacturer with their help we didn't use them so I'm going to break them a 5 because I would like to think they would've helped us if they could but we just did not want to go through the hassle of taking it in to their service area.

We have had are trailer less than a month. Have not made a first payment yet. The Shower/Tub drain was not installed correctly and it flooded the rear of the trailer, the awning was not retracting and the Heater is not working electrically. The carpet trim is coming apart. Their are some other items, but not worth mentioning. It is a beautiful trailer, the lay out is great, room for 9 and it tows really nice for a 36 foot trailer. oh yeah also, when I called back camping world they told me it would be two months before they could work on it. I tried calling another Camping World, they never called me back. Finally called back and spoke to the manager that sold me the trailer and he got somebody to take it in the next week. I hope everything gets fixed right away, because we leave in two more weeks.

We have owned 2 other travel trailers. The Mallarad floor plan sold us. This is the most leaking camper I have ever owned. First the out door kitchen, when it rained next the vent hood above the stove, again when it rains. I personal had to make the repairs due to being on a trip. Today 5-19-18 this evening we had rain and now the window in the slide opposite the door has water running down the wall from under the interior trim. Dealer will make the repair if you are willing to forget camping for the summer. Dealer needs to cut ties with Hartland A Very Cheaply constructed camper. Wished we still had our Zinger RL27 never had a leak.

Recently purchased a 2018 m28. Being fully aware that to build a 30' trailer with a gvw of 6900 lbs it had to be built with light material's. If your expecting a heavy duty bullet proof camper this is not for you. That being said in the light weigh class this trailer is awesome lots of cool details like great lighting big shower lighted storage. Plus it's beautifuly laid out.
The center island really makes it work.
Tows easy with my v8 f150.

We just purchased a new 2018 Landmark Newport. On the final inspection my wife and I discovered six items that needed to be fixed. That was the first red flag, as we sat for 3 hrs. waiting for the "detail" guys to get it ready. We finally got home and discovered the beginnings of a growing nightmare. The front closet mirrored door had fallen off the track, due to the fact that out of 15 screws holding it up 4 actually was screwed into something solid. The screen door would not latch. It appears the door frame is wider the then screen door. The living room tv has a large gouge in it. The safety wire that keeps the tv from swinging out to far didn't work. Someone swung the tv to far causing the safety cable to rip out a shelf That it was attached to. I've been told that I have used to many characters. I haven't gotten to the "Good stuff yet.

This is the WORST RV to own! I've had it for 4 months and needed 4 major repairs already and working on the 5th one.

Main TV has fallen off the wall 3 times causing damage to the fascia light and living room, lock broken 3 times, cabinets separating, water leaks, main water line broke, wall separation from the main door to the point you can see the ground outside, furnace didn't work, bulb seals have broken twice now. The interior walls are separating- can see where all the staples are pulling thru the wall. All the trim work is coming down. The window seal fell off. The ceiling has a bubble in it. Just constant problems and the manufacturer does not want to help fix the issues, you spend hours and weeks on the phone arguing with them.

Do not buy a heartland RV- biggest POS I have ever owned!

My wife is a traveling nurse so we purchased the camper to live in on the road. It pulls well behind a one run pic up. It is also very comfy and we love the side deck. We have had issues with it that have been a pain. We were told by the trailer seller in Muskegon Michigan we could call them if we needed help on the road which we did twice and got no response. Right off the bat both sinks leaked which I fixed.also I had to replace the gas cock because it leaked on our first trip. The awning on the side of the camper pulled out of the wall during the first few times we used it. This was a big deal because the manufacturer's screwed into the side wall with nothing solid to screw into. Very poor.also when we use the shower up front water leaks on the ground under the camper with no access in the floor to find the leak.still an issue. We hooked up cable tv for the first time and found the front tv's work but the back 2 do not. I had it tested by the cable company and there is no signal to them when he plugged in his tester.this means the lines are not connected under the floor somewhere and again no access. One of the fridge doors won't latch so we have to block while traveling. Overall many issues with workmanship and some design issues.we bought the camper in Muskegon Michigan April of 2017 from dealer. I would not buy another from them at this point.as soon as we signed the papers they didn't seem that interested in us anymore. They called my wife once to ask if we were happy with the camper and she told them she could not talk at the moment but we were having some problems she would like to talk about.they told her they call her back the next day which they never did. That was the first of 3 no return calls.

I have owned RV’s my whole adult life. I’m 61. My 2018 Cyclone is a pos concerning Quailty Fit and Finish and Cheap parts. The chassis is solid and it pulls nice,
Brand New, inverter no good so battery died. 12 lights in bed room did not work. Tub drain leaked badly into storage area. Outdoor kitchen door frame not caulked leaked a lot of water in on floor, ruined cheap press board trim every where it touched had to be replaced. Every time we pull on a trip with Harley’s accross USA we have trim fall off inside. Tile back splash in kitchen feel off two areas. Large trim board top of biggest slide feel off. Light switch lever feel off. Rear awning broke 3rd use.All Decorative trim over windows in garage loose and ready to fall off. All three AC units failed had to be replaced 1 year old. Recliner couch falling apart. The transfer switch for generator caught fire, shorted out, ruined a brand new coffee pot, DVD player, fire place, charger for an electronic device, WiFi router.
I could go on but you get the idea, total of 8 weeks in shin being fixed. One year old mind you. Rear toilet supply hose leaked all over the floor. It’s endless. I will never buy another Heartland product. Came with cheap tires on it, I purchased 6 Goodyear’s and replace brand new tires.
I hope this helps someone not make the same mistake we made. At close to 100,000,00 dollars this ain’t funny a bit. The Onan gen set made in USA runs good. Most of the issues are Cheap press board used throughout RV, cheap parts, or sorry quality and poor workmanship.

Had problems with this unit immediately. Front ac was wired to a 15 amp breaker instead of the normal 20 amp. Allowed the 50 amp cord to get hot and melted the rear bathroom sink drain. Found the underbelly was filling with water and that is when I found the melted pipe. Fixed both myself. The rear grey water has a leak on level tap. Rear bathroom bathtub drain had incorrect gasket which leaked and ruined insulation. Replaced gasket and insulation. Dvd player had a bad rca jack to tv had to replace. Only had two months....whats next!

This was such a shocking experience! The quality of the rig was extremely poor. The front door was warped. There was a leak in the basement that couldn't be found. The mode switch on the refrigerator did not work so you could not switch to propane operation. The auto level function did not work properly. The rubber seal on the kitchen slide came out. The metal hose in the shower left a mark on the wall. There was no switch to put the hot water heater on propane although it was plumbed for propane. There were paint stains on the steps, the handle, and the outer window by the steps. There were also design flaws that indicated the RV was designed by a NON RVer. The control panel was behind a door that opened the the wrong way. The fuse panel was low with a door that opened up that required you to lay on the floor to see the panel. An outlet on the island was placed so that any plugs for appliances had to cross in front of the drawer. There was no faucet in the shower, no toilet paper holder, and no shower bar in the bathroom. The exterior decals were sloppy and had gaps. The directions for the auto leveler were on the top of a door that opened up making the reader assume a kind of limbo position to read it. After six weeks, we traded the rig in for another model.

Fell in love with it from the moment we saw it on our dealers lot. The open concept layout with the slide gives us a lot of room. The bunk house design is awesome when we have grandchildren for weekend trips. Master bedroom has a door on both sides for ease of getting into the bed. Just an awesome layout and package for the money. We looked at the 32' version with the outside kitchen it is awesome and I wish we could have got that feature with the LX30, however it was not at all a deal breaker we are 5 star satisfied with our purchase. We purchased this unit from Atwood Trailer Services in Mineral City Ohio and as usual Del the owner dealt with us personally we got a great trade in value for our old travel trailer, an awesome price on the new one, and his customer service is second to none.

We are first time trailer owners and found the dealer to be very helpful and not high pressure sales. Our first time out, the awning lights blew a fuse and sparked when we tried to replace the fuse. As it is under warranty, we took it back to the dealer for repair. All other issues we had with the trailer they fixed promptly. The awning lights need manufacturer's approval to be repaired and we are still waiting to hear that dealer got the approval. The trailer is very comfortable and I love being able to get to the bathroom even when the slide out is in. Cabinets by refrigerator seem to be backward - the one closest to the kitchen area is for clothes and the closest to the bathroom is shelves for a pantry. The entertainment system is not very u friendly and the buttons on the remote are impossible to read.

Purchased this trailer at a show. Promised elivery in 4 days. Three days after purchase we were told we could not have the trailer for another 7 days. We had to postpone our maiden voyage.
Finally picked it up and nothing on our initial punch list was done. When they installed the grab bars in bath the screws punched through outer wall. Entry grab bar screws punched through inner wall. The quality of inside trim install is horrible. Molding hanging down and other pieces with enough holes from staples that they had to be replaced. The tv mount was installed incorrectly as was the power awning, surround shower wall and an outlet was wired incorrectly. There is glue residue on multiple walls and difficult to remove.
There is no quality control with Heartland. Sorry we purchased this brand and will never again.
We made appointment four weeks ago to have holes in body repaired and now the dealer says they have to work it in.
NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!! Does anybody care? Can I get a different RV?

This is the worst product I have ever purchased. the first trip out we had leaks in the kitchen sink, toilet, and the drain plumbing. This soaked the particle board cabinets and swelled the wood tearing the laminate. The hot water heater is leaking and discharging black smoke. The siding came dented. The cabinets came scratched. The wiring to the brakes fell off under the unit. the ground effects we not attached in several places. The LEDs lights are out. The entire GFCI circuit failed and has a short. there is chipped paint. there were nails coming through to the head of the bad. The shower floor is failing. I emailed customer service and wanted to return the unit, their response was no, they would get it fixed and it would take several weeks even months. I bought the unit to use it and have never been more dissatisfied with service or product.

We purchased the 2017 heartland mallard m33 in october 2016. We have had problems from day 1. We suffered through heat and air not working and the list goes on... light fell off, slide out did not work properly, etc. We spent a lot of money on our camper thinking it would provide years of enjoyment but it has been nothing but a head ache! Dealer has not been helpful or cooperative! very little communication and they just keep putting us off! They have had our camper for 2 months and parts are still not ordered!!!! We are in the process of looking for a new camper!!! WE are very disappointed in heartland!

Have enjoyed owning this camper but had some issues that needed warranty repair. Of course heartland said they would take care of it and just have a repair tech call them with an estimate That’s when they decided that they would not cover the cost of the repair since we needed mobile service We live in our camper and have no place to stay if we take it to a shop which would keep it for weeks on end Some one of this caliber couldn’t fork out an extra fifty bucks to take care of a warranty issue this is my first heartland and my last heartland

I have owned this RV for 6 months. It is a great layout for livability and is very comfortable. It is very roomy for an RV. Auto spark ignition for range/oven. Built in DVD/CD with built in surround sound for living room TV. Stereo can be set to hear music indoors or outdoors or both at the same time. Stereo is Bluetooth ready as well. Overall a very well thought out layout.

I am a full timer. In 2017 I traded my other camper in for this mallard JUNK. I'm gonna keep this short but not sweet.
1. AC did not work in Alabama heat. Added a small windo unit and got some relief.
2. Worst insulation ever. Cannot keep this thing warm. 2 bottles of propane every couple of days. That's with eletric heater running wide open.
3. As soon as 1 year warranty was up, TO THE MONTH, the water pump for tank water quit working, the wires burned up on hot water heater, and pipes under sink stopped working. I am so angry and dealer in BIRMINGHAM HAS BEEN NO HELP. I will be glad to get out of this 20,000.00 junk and into another! Uggggg
ALSO the quality and workmanshup is junk, cabinet doors ect...all cap and falling apart. DO NOT BUY A MALLARD

The king bed sleeps awful. It is so low and uncomfortable. I contacted Heartland directly and spoke with their parts representative to see if there was a different mattress they could suggest I purchase. The representative was no help and offered no suggestions. This is supposed to be a luxury Rv but when you can’t sleep comfortably, it isn’t a good experience. It would have been nice if the Heartland representative could have had or solution. Perhaps a elevated foam mattress topper will help. If anyone has recommendations on a mattress please let me know.

We have been looking for over a year for a camper. We recently took out a loan on a camper at a different dealership only for it to be sold out from under us. Being so aggravated I was on the hunt again, that's how I found our dealership. Now mind you, I have dealt with so many different sales people from so many different dealerships by this time that I knew what I wanted and I was not going to play games anymore. I called, got a sales person, I immediately started telling him what I wanted and asking all the questions I needed to ask to find out what kind of people I would be dealing with. The sales person who got stuck with me lol and I apologize now for taking up so much of your time.
He did an amazing job in not only getting me what I wanted, but he went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased. Anything I said I wanted he was going to see that I got it. He did take me into another camper, not to try to sell it to me, but to show me a specific upgrade I was wanting. I really liked what I saw and knew if I could talk my husband into it, we would be switching. The next day I was telling him to switch campers for me. I showed up unannounced to inspect it myself. They already had a technician on it. It was set up and it was gone through with a fine tooth comb, and the tech had no problem letting me do my own inspection lol. These people are truly the best I have ever worked with. The honesty I received through out all of this was worth more than anything I could have ever asked for. The time he gave me, and only me, was very impressive, not to mention his willingness to make me happy. Josh, you did an amazing job. You have my business from here on out and everyone I know who is looking for a camper, which can be many. And to the tech that serviced my camper, thank you for putting up with me and my children and taking the time to show us how things worked and for your honesty. Not one time were they pushy, trying to talk me out of what I wanted, like so many others have done. They truly listened to my heart and knew what I was needing and why I needed it. I did not walk away with the original camper I wanted, I upgraded by my choice and I am more than happy with what I got. I want to thank everyone for making this an amazing experience for us. You guys truly are THE BEST!!!
Josh, Nevaeh is saying thank you so much :) Very happy kids :)

I bought this fifth wheel brand new in Nov. 2017. The following are the problems we have had:

1. Gas oven did not work from day one.
2. High Point residential fridge stopped working 30 days after purchase. We went 3 weeks with no fridge and we LIVE Full Time in ours.

3. The inverter had to be replaced.

4. The kitchen sink completely fell in the hole.

6. The bracket arms for the large awning were mounted crooked and the awning would not work.

5.The screws fell out of the large awning causing it to fall apart and rip the material.

6. The trim around the door to the toy hauler completely separated from the wall-twice.

7. The gray tank cut out was left in by the manufacture which then floated over the hole blocking it from draining. Had to have the tank dropped to remove it. This is a known issue with Heartland.

8. The underbelly filled with water and we had to drain it. There is a permanent sag in the under belly.

9. Both slide outs are now separating from the floor. Screws have sheared off.

10. The outdoor trashcan door does not close flush....water flooded our kitchen through the trash door during rain storm.

These are just the major issues in the 7 months we have owned it.....many other minor issue which we have fixed ourselves.

We do like the lay out. Large kitchen and decor. The side patio is awesome.

I purchased a 2017 Cyclone 5th wheel, January 2017. It's has been in 2 different facilities for major repairs. Now, it's currently in the Heartland facility. I've cancelled trips and have not been able to plan new ventures. Two major problems, (1) leaking slide due to factory building caused significant water damage under linoleum, (2) table mounts drilled in flooring in the incorrect spot, have never used the table. Would have to pull entire linoleum up to correct that. And if that isn't enough, tanks build up pressure and have never drained properly. The list goes on and on... Guess what, now my 1 year warranty is up, and they only want to extend it 6 more months after they take my entire trailer apart and put it back together. Their quality of work is awful, and taking responsibility for their workmanship is even worse!

I purchased it 9 months ago for $67,000 asking $50,000. 5 year extended warranty included. I had a job in Dallas for a couple months and had to use it there. Everything is in perfect condition. I installed a washer/dryer & a Furrion wireless observation system (camera). It's 42' with 5 slide outs, 2 bunks, 2 couches that fold out into beds, & a queen size bedroom. I am including all equipment purchased for the camper. Blocks, tire stoppers, $200 heated hose, hose connections, black & grey tank hoses, hose regulators, & a $350 portable waste pump.(Flojet model 18555 000) The camper has an outside kitchen & a grill that attaches to the rear bumper. The camper is available to be viewed in Lafayette, Louisiana. If you are out of state, we may be able to arrange me delivering to you. Call me (Tristan) & set up a time for a tour. show contact info I also have a BW 5th wheel hitch for sale if you need to install it in your truck to pull this beauty out of here.
Pictures of the camper are attached. I have also posted a link below that lists the floor plan, specs, & professional photos.

Loved the layout and ordered one. Pretty disappointed in the overall craftsmanship 0f the camper. Screws not screwed in all the way, leaking sink drains and sewer shutoff valves. Wallboards overlapping at seams, the bottom of the fridge is trying to come out of the kitchen slide, the breaker board screws aren't long enough to stay in the walls, and when the kitchen slide is in we can see daylight out of the bottom of the camper. The air conditioning doesn't drain properly because the gutter along the side is at the lowest point in the middle causing the water to pool there and then overflow onto the awning. Heartland took a great design and ruined with poor craftsmanship... to say my wife is disappointed with our purchase is a huge understatement. Added to that is dealer in Ramsey, MN didn't let us know that the design year changed from purchase to delivery, and the kitchen slide was set up with different and terrible storage space, and the living room tri-fold couch came as 2 recliners. Also had a different table setup. We took delivery 3 months ago and the couch and table have still not been replaced as promised.

Long time 5th wheeler owner. My old Avion no longer met my needs, looked for toy hauler to replace it. Liked the floor plan on this model. But that's all I like. It's very cheaply built. Almost every trip something else breaks or comes loose. Sink falling down, improperly installed waste valve leak. Sliding door to garage area coming loose. Every valance in the living area has broken loose from the walls. Windows won't latch properly. Hydraulic motor pops breaker routinely. Original refrigerator wouldn't cool properly had to be replaced. Power to back up camera didn't work. dinette table legs not aligned with floor mounts. on and on and On. It spent 5 months at the dealer having things repaired the first 8 months I owned it. The balance is horrible. Weight on Axles is below max, but empty weight on hitch exceeds anything under a 1 ton dually. The only saving grace is the floor plan. It's nice. Electric switch placement is horrible. down low, not lit. have to bend down on your knees and have a flashlight to operate most electrical switches. Built in vacuum is in the middle of the single outside pass through storage so you have to climb into the tiny compartment to access it. It's just so poorly built it's amazing.

The trailer is awesome. The dealer is a horrible place to buy from, if you want to get treated terrible and lied to. I was told they don't use the rv's, mine came with 170 hours on the generator and I was told they would take care of it. Come to find out they didn't change the oil and now refuse to make things right. I was sold a used 5th wheel as a new one. Don't sign any papers until they fix everything.

I've never towed it as it was delivered by the dealer to the RV park. This is our full time residence. Given that it's 37 ft long and we came out of a house, space and storage is pretty good. The bedroom upstairs really makes you feel that you're in a small condo and not just a trailer. LR set up is very comfortable, the electric fireplace is both attractive and functional. The kitchen and island work out well, gives you extra counter space. A/C handles the S.FL heat ok. I opened the awning more for shade for the trailer that us. It keeps the afternoon sun off that wall. Outside storage is ample and as we're also skirted, we've gained extra storage under the front part. All in all, very pleased especially coming out of a house into this unit.

We bought our brand new 2017 Wilderness Oct 2017. The first week we took it out water was leaking from the under belly so within 15 days of owning it was in the shop. The shower drain in my opinion is a defect because we had it in the shop 4 times already and it needs to go back again for the same issue of the p trap pipe stripping after a shower. The water leaking from the p trap has caused damage under the floor of the entire bathroom and all of the repairs have diminished the value of the trailer. It has been nothing but a lemon since when purchased it and Heartland has done nothing to make it right!!

Purchased Apr 2017. First time used noticed RV had feeling of not being level.Thought leveling system but realized floor was crowned. Returned to dealer July 5, showed how floor slopes from center floor to outside edge of floor on each side by ½“. Dealer says Warranty thinks the floor is not secured properly and instructs how to fix it. July 21 dealer says floor is secure. July 26 dealer asks us to talk directly to Warranty. Received call from Ron,at Heartland, he asks us to explain our version of the floor problem. Dealer believes the slide supports are not adequate so foam between floor layers broke down. Dealer has done everything Warranty has recommended and can’t fix the floor. He believes RV needs to go back to factory. After MONTHS of going back/forth and sending pics, Ron emailed this “I thoroughly discussed a method of repair with our service center shop supervisor and am confident it will be corrected.” RV picked up Oct 31. Warranty Div has list of other needed repairs. Rubber gaskets coming off slides, kitchen table rubs on island, fireplace squeaks, lighting on awning not working, slide stove side crowned, TV cable wired in reverse of factory instructions, pantry doorjamb bowed, kitchen sink leaks, key lock door under hitch won’t lock. RV returned to us Dec 18. FLOOR STILL CROWNED, now Warranty says it’s normal. They could not fix it, so they washed their hands of it. We have friends that worked in RV industry that believe it’s a design issue that Heartland refuses to recognize. RV left our home spotless and returned filthy outside and covered in const. dust inside (Also yellow road paint on outside and undercarriage). Emailed Ron, he replied with instructions on how to wash our RV. This RV was high dollar and built cheap. We will never buy another Heartland product. I have plenty of documentation and pics, word of mouth is everything.

We bought our Bighorn at the Pennsylvania RV show in 2016. We have got to use it one week. We picked it up in December of last year in New York. It has been in the shop ever since. For a brand new trailer it had a huge crack in the counter top over by the stove. A chipped bathroom sink. Hot water heater that would not work on 120. Slider was making noises and jerks found it out of alignment. Screws left in the railing of the closet so the doors would not open. Safety window over the loveseat will not open all the way. The screws in the vent behind the stove were stripped and they had installed other screws other than the ones Furrion had provided. Screen door would not close. Rubber grommets and pins on the stove grates were missing, so had to replace the grates. The cover on the compartment door was missing. The shower door was missing a screw they found that they had tightened it to much and expanded the crimp. Gasket on the back window of the slider keeps coming out. Light shade on the slider had fallen down so they had to remove fascia and reinstall it. In the freezer there are two holes that do not have plugs not sure why they are there. Refrigerator doors were out of alignment so one stuck out a lot further than the other. Staples sticking way out on all the gaskets. So they are taking the gaskets off and putting the staples in. The seal on the back corner of the trailer is coming out. The outlet on the outside does not work. There is also a real soft spot on the roof. Not sure what is going on there yet. So out of a full year we have got to use our trailer once as it has been in the shop waiting on parts. For as much as we spent on this Bighorn I am very disappointed in the workmanship and the quality of this rig. I will NEVER buy another Bighorn again. We owned a Terry before and never had any problems. We had heard great reviews on Heartland trailers. We loved their floorplan but quality is not there for what you pay for it.

We bought our brand new Heartland 26LRSS King, Caliber Edition, TT in April 2017. We've had it out on several short and long trips already. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase. With the King slide and lots of windows it feels like a much larger TT than it is. Layout: The layout in the TT functions pretty good for us. My only complaint is with the bathroom. I'm short at 5'2", the mirrors on the cabinets in the bathroom are set so high that I can only see my eyebrows on up. Unless I stand on my toes. But what I really like is the amount of medicine cabinet space, much more than most units in this size category. And I wish there was just a little more space in the bathroom, it's pretty tiny. Quality: Nothing major has gone wrong. All systems seem to function as they should. In May we got caught in a spring snow that dumped 12 inches of snow on us. We stayed warm and cozy and nothing froze up since it has a heated & enclosed underbelly. And we were just out in Mesa, AZ with 104º heat and we stayed nice and cool with the A/C on. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star on quality is because we've had little issues that my husband fixed himself. EX: the microwave frame that holds the unit in it's shelving, there was a screw missing on one side and the microwave slid a little out of the shelf. We were on the road at the time and hubby just went to an ACE hardware store, got a screw and secured the microwave himself. Several of our kitchen cabinet doors have come loose and hubby fixed those as well. Other than that, it's been a solid unit so far. No major problems at all. Towing: We pull it with our 2016 Ford F-150 with Eco Boost. Since this is considered a light unit our truck has no problem pulling it, even in the Rocky Mountains which we visit a lot since we live in Colorado. Warranty Support: We haven't turned anything into warranty support yet as there has been only minor things wrong that happened while out on long trips and we've just dealt with them ourselves, as mentioned above. One other thing we did was buy a different mattress. Most RV mattresses are not up to our standards and we want to sleep comfortably while on the road, just like at home. I will say that on our longest trip we've had with this we toured the plant in Elkhart Indiana where these are made. We saw a whole line of North trails on the assembly line and the plant manager gave us the tour. We were pretty impressed. It's little things that a lot of people don't notice. Heating vents are in the walls not on the floor. Walkable roof. More insulation than a lot of brands. Thicker walls than a lot of brands. Overall we are very pleased with our Heartland North Trail.

I have had this RV 3 mo. everytime I took it out something else went wrong. There is no quality to the workmanship. I bought this in March 2016. The first time I used it the commode leaked around it. I took it to dealer for repair. They kept it for 6 weeks. When I picked it up they had put a new seal in and said there wasn't one installed at the factory. My next issue is a rotted floor that is rotted from the door to the front storage. The next issue is that the table seat collapsed and I had to put screws in it to keep someone sitting there from getting hurt should it fall again. I will never again buy a heartland brand nor recommend that anyone does so. This camper is parked under a cover at my home and hasn't been abused.

Brand new 2016 LM 365 Newport 80k. Bought 7/8/2016 within first 30 days a slide roof leaked during rain. Took it to dealer where we bought it and they tried to fix it but within 24 hours of picking it back up it rained again and the rain came in even more places. Videoed it all and emailed to Heartland and dealer I have lots of video and pictures. Hearthland took it back to Indiana and rebuilt the slide. As soon as we get it back damage to walls from hauling took it to a dealer for lots of repairs. While they had it they winterized it and during that time we had 2 19 degree cold fronts and shower head froze and busted and water lines exposed out side busted, water heater wont heat. Heartland paid for mobile tech to repair. We got it back and have been back in it for 4 days and these are the current issues. Kitchen slide bottom is falling apart, washing machine leaked and flooded underbelly last night and the slide toppers they just installed make so much noise flapping and squeaking all night last night it kept me up. Now today 2/14/17 7 months after purchase Heartland is picking it back up to take it back to Indiana for all these repairs. Told Heartland they are paying for my Rv payment, RV park rent and Storage to store my belongings while they take it for a minimum of a month. They are also extending my warranty I asked for a year we will see what they do. We love the unit but geez this is ridiculous

Since we have owned our 2016 DS310 my wife and I have had numerous issues. First an electrical issue that continuously blew fuses for my tow vehicle (two different trucks and even the Brand New Service truck at dealer had issues with plugging into my trailer). After 3 attempts to fix they think they finally got it. However, they had to remove the Front Fascia and most of the front of the trailer to fix the grounded wires between the frame and the floor. Now move onto a new issue that is a result of the previous work OR a manufacturer defect. I have a rotted floor in the Right Front Storage area. It is the width of the storage area and approximately 2-1/2 feet into the center of the trailer. It was found when something I was storing in there about fell through to the ground since the particle board was totally rotted out. On-line research about this revealed this issue has happened before on earlier years. I have a water leak in the rear of the trailer from under the outside sink. The cold water supply is leaking from the clamp connection. BUT when I opened the panel under the sink to see it, I found Sunflower seed shells, metal shavings, and a hole punched in the wall (between the sink and the bathroom) with nothing going through it. The filth and mess under there can only of come from the factory when it was being built. And finally I have a Split Wall in the Trailer next to the Power Breaker Box. It has separated from the floor to about 3 feet up. The trailer is stored on level ground. NONE of this should be happening, period! All of this is extremely upsetting since I have only used the trailer 7 times in the 1-1/2 years of ownership. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HEARTLAND PRODUCT. I really just want it fixed and gone! I cannot in good conscious travel with a travel trailer that will fall apart around my family.

We purchased this in Fall 2016, and in the year that we have had it, we have had nothing but problems. The quality of craftsmanship in this trailer is dismal. We have trim falling off, the door frames are coming apart, our sink has completely fallen down into the cabinet below, and much more.
Our main issue is with the floor plan of this unit, as there is not enough kitchen counter space. That is our fault, obviously, but we could deal with that if the quality of the trailer was up to par. The trailer has been already been in the shop for 3 months, and we are still working with more repair people to fix more issues.

Here is a list of issues that we have had so far:
The motor for our leveling jacks broke
The refrigerator broke - we still are unable to use the freezer
The bedroom AC failed
The sink in the kitchen has fallen
Our stereo screen will not turn on
The bathroom floor flexed so much that it cracked the flange on the toilet
There is a mildew/mold smell coming from the underbelly.
Our front awning failed and broke the arm
Our main awning came off of its track

I'm sure there are more, but I don't have my list in front of me at the moment.

This trailer has been a headache, to say the least. We have been on the phone with Heartland constantly, and while their warranty department has been willing to help, their only option after it being in the shop for 3 months is to bring it to them in Indiana. We just don't have that luxury.

We owned a 2008 Big Horn previous to this rig, and were impressed with the quality. This Road Warrior is CRAP compared to that. They cut corners and have no quality control. You never know when the next thing will fail due to improper installation, poor quality, or lack of give a crap.

Purchased this unit 2 1/2 months ago. Before we bought it the stripe on the drivers side was damaged. We told the dealership in Panama City that it needed to be replaced if we bought it. They assured us it would be replaced by the time we picked it up. It wasn't replaced. The loveseat has something protruding out of it poking a hole, the closet rod fell when I was hanging clothes on it, the bathroom door wouldn't hook, the sinks wouldn't drain, 4 lights didn't work because bulbs were either missing or burnt. The speaker had staples sticking out, the kitchen sink only works on sprayer and I was told to just fill the sink with the sprayer. The roof has a cut in it on the passenger front, there was a screw m ark in the vinyl where a screw was left under the slide and damaged the vinyl. The dealerahip replaced the vinyl and now it is even worse. It is all rippled, they didn't install the island back in the correct spot, the sink leaked after they installed it, and when we pulled the slides in to travel the stainless steel refrigerator door got damaged because the counter now hits the refrigerator door when traveling. The half bath ceiling is water stained from a leak by the vent, the rear cabinet is soaking wet, it rains in the front closet, the carpet in the cabinet on the right side of the fireplace is soaked because it leaks there as well and there is a propane leak. We live in this pile of junk and am unable to use the stove or turn the furnace on it this pile of shit.No one wants to work on their junk. This unit sat on the lot for 15 months, so it has had water damage for at least 1 1/2 years. We live in Wisconsin and it was 42 last night and they are predicting frost tonight and can't use the furnace because of the propane leak in their junk. We have asked that they replace this with a better one and we will pay the difference, but even they don't want it back. This is our first Keystone and will be our last. Heartland is absolutely NO GOOD. I will tell everyone I can so they don't get Heartland junk. Heartland should be ashamed of t g emselves, but word of mouth is the best advertising and I plan on doing just that. I have pictures and documentation of everything and then can even see the unit. Heartland can play their games, but they are hurting themselves.

We purchased our rig with the intention of having my husband live in it on the job site and eventually being a full timer. The claim yo fame was QUALITY! Well let me tell you we have rarely seen such shoddy workmanship. We don't have the ability to go back to the dealership and figure they probably won't fix it satisfactorily anyway. The wallpaper was bubbling, recliner not bolted down, microwave not secured. Outside walls not secured, tv wiring not connected correctly, fridge doors not level (They flew open our first trip with food all over the floor and now a ding in 1 door), most of all is the horrible insulation. We are sweltering in summer and cold in winter. There is a definite lack of ventalation. You canmot open the hall window and have the door clipoed open at the same time Do not believe what the sales people are telling you! It might look pretty but you are not getting quality!

Bubbles from moisture between walls after only having a three months. Had to deal with dealer and Hartland fighting over who would pay to fix. Had multiple blowouts even after replacing the cheep tires from hartland to G series tires. Both AC's lock up you have to climb onto the roof and spin the fan to give it a kick start. The cabinets are made of cheep paper covered cardboard. Slides stick even whith dealer recommended treatment. You will regreat this purchase I know I have bought to enjoy and have had a back at dealer for more than two months of the year and a half we have owned.

We've had this unit for 16 months and would never buy another. Black water holding tank improperly installed, couldn't empty till after a service call which Heartland paid for. Too many small but important items wrong, kitchen sink was falling out, door latch didn't work properly. Hydraulic lifters on the king size bed broke away, making them useless. Closet rod fell down, carpet not stretched properly under dinette. Loose molding strips. Must have been built on a Monday or Friday. Trading in for a Vanleigh product.

This is a Bighorn RS3270 I bought in January 2017.
I have had nothing but problems since the day I picked it in Springfield Mo. MANY problems (workmanship) I had to fix myself,
Now I have had it in the shop 3 different times for the hydraulic slide cylinder leaking, (currently waiting on another one), The auger motor in the refrigerator quit, waiting on it also. the compressor on the refrigerator quit, waiting for a tech to look at it.
This this is a fifth wheel Bighorn JUNK.
It has been waiting for repair far longer than I have had it to use.
$80,000 piece of junk, THANKS HEARTLAND

I bought this FW as a slightly used rig with the plan to be a full-time RVer in a few years when my DW and I retire. The floor plan is awesome. There is plenty of living space and storage. Our last rig only had couches; we really like the massage and heat option in the theater seating. The king bed in the bedroom and the king sofa sleeper give us plenty of sleeping room for ourselves and guests. The large refrigerator holds plenty of food. The convection over is a great upgrade. There is also a TV in both the living area and bedroom and a built-in booster, so we can usually get adequate channels when we scan using the antenna. The automatic leveling system is a big plus, but we learned that sometimes we have to use blocks if on an uneven surface, so the legs do not have to extend all the way. Overall the 3270rs is quite comfortable. I only gave 4 stars fpr the quality because we get a lot of condensation on the bathroom vent when camping in hot, high humidity conditions. I'll have to add insulation between the air conditioning vent and the bathroom ceiling vent, or install a fantastic fan in the bathroom to correct this issue. But overall, very pleased with this fifth wheel.

Purchased the trailer in February. Took it out on two \"shakedown\" cruises in March and April. Short tows, but 4+ day stays. Found very little wrong with the trailer. In fact, this is my second Bighorn and the \"fit and finish\" is superior to our previous rig. The few small things that were wrong were either easily resolved by myself or promptly handled by the dealer and the manufacturer. Tows extremely well. Smooth and gentle. Heartland has upgraded the tires on this chassis from Load Range E to Load Range G. We experienced a catastrophic failure of a tire on our previous rig. The shocks and suspension lend itself to smooth and confident towing. We are very happy.

I purchase my Big Country 14 months ago. My wife and I have enjoyed our RV and have found it very comfortable. The issue is I was washing my Big Country and notice a wavy look above both cogo hatches. I took it to the RV dealership we purchase our unit. After careful inspection the service tech said the fiberglass siding has delamination from water damage. The cost for the repairs will be $7,000. I have no choice but pay for the repairs because it's 2 months out of warranty. I will not buy another Heartland product.

We have never been so disappointed in a trailer and we've owned many. First, all of the pantry shelves felll out. There was a hole in the slide seal almost 3" wide. The seals on the slides weren't fitting right and pulled off on the kitchen side. Screws holding the fridge in came out and the fridge almost fell out. Then the control board on the fridge went bad just out of warrant. All of the trim along the ceiling pealed apart and came loose from the wall. The couch arm caved in. When we contacted Heartland they said it was probably rough treatment and wouldn't fix it. When we took it apart to fix it we found that there had been so many staples pounded into it that the wood literally fell apart because of the poor workmanship on the arm brace. One of the tubes on the furnace was never attached correctly supplying the living area that we froze on our first trip out. Even now you roast in the bedroom and freeze while we are sitting in the living area when it's cold outside. The receiver had to be replaced. The final straw for us is that after light use for just over a year we took it out for a three week vacation. With half the vacation left we opened the slides to find the carpet soaked after driving through rain. The seals on the living room and kitchen slide failed. We've had campers we've never had warranty work even needed.

We bought a used 2016 LX18 the summer of 2017 that had barely been used. Still smelled new on the inside. As an 'empty nest' couple, it is just big enough for the two of us and our 3 dachshunds. No doubt the next one will be a little larger as I work on the road and we use the TT as a mobile office. Really wanted a rear dining so as not to disturb the wife when I get up early to work. AC seems noisy. Anyway, we have had good luck with the Lynx so far. No problems at all. I took advice from others and completely re-caulked the shower and while doing it I can see that it would be a good idea as many of the joints in the plastic were warped and over time would collect water and rot out behind the shower unit. So, CAULK THE SHOWER! Also added wall hooks all over as there are no towel racks at all. The overall quality is "cheaply built" but it is understandable in the manufacturers need to produce an affordable unit. Just stay on top of the small things like loosening screws and staples pulling loose, and watch the exterior caulking for signs of separation. The unit pulls like a dream behind my 2500 Silverado with no sway control devices at all. Overall, very happy with the Prowler Lynx 18LX.

We resently purchased a Lynx 18LX I like how it tows and the looks of the camper is great. The AC is pretty noisy I guess just because the small space but it cools good. I like the layout but wish we could had gotten a couch instead of the dinette table but our dealer said it was not possible, the LED lights in the awning partially quit working on our 1st camping trip and dealer was unable to replace with the same length they stop 4 to 5 inches from each end. The shower leaked into floor due to no sealant at bottom of shower wall . All in all now that small problems are taken care of we will get to enjoy it.

It keeps freezing at temps under 30*. We've had to replace both kitchen and bathroom faucet because of leeks.

I have to wonder if the negative reviews just gt deleted. We are beyond disappointed in our purchase and more in the warranty and the lack of support. This camper came with issues that we were assured would be fixed. Well I'm sitting on a very squishy bunk house floor typing this. Water damage from the tub!! We've taken it in and camper world of Tampa just flat out lied about fixing it. The through down so awful linoleum and called it fixed. Tub still leaks. Floor still rotting. My brother just bought a heartland. His is huge. Second trip out and his ac unit goes. In glad I "only" spent the $24'000 on this possible and not the cold $100'000 he spent on his. But for the headaches I could have saved myself several thousand and got a used one that I would know needed so much work. So here's the deal. Spring for a Jayco or any other brand

Bought the arctic package thinking that it was well insulated, not true, the upper ac unit could not keep the bathroom and bedroom comfortably cool even with them shut off and the other thing the unit was cooling. Discovered that there is no insulation in the attic area over the bedroom or bath when putting in an insulated/ reflective blanket in the skylight in the bathroom to try to reduce the amount of heat coming in around it. Water lines were not installed properly and had water leaks on both toilets due to hose clamps not being tight, toilets not being bolted down all the way and had to cut a hole in the closet wall to tighten hose clamps on water lines to the tub/shower because there was no access panel. The stove/oven had not worked properly since day one. The rollers in the bedroom slide have broken off 2 of the times we have used the camper, the last time resulting in the gasket/seal tearing and having to be replaced. The long couch was installed wrong and had to be taken out and installed in the correct location to make the slide work properly and not make a horrendous noise. If I could have gotten the room and floor plan that I have I would have bought a different brand had I known the poor craftsmanship and poor quality of materials used on the Heartland products.

I own a 2015 Heartland cyclone 4200 HD. this is the worst manufacturer and trailer on the market. Since i've owned this trailer it has spent more time in the shop then we have used it. From leaking windows to leaking pluming. I've had to have part of the floor it garage area due to a leaking window which they say is my fault. three side patio doors cause they have all warped. sinks replaced because of bad workmanship. plumbing fixtures hand tight and leaking everywhere. 3 air conditioners. all the cable is unhooked. can't even sell the thing cause no one wants to give fair market value for it. It’s a great RV, floor plan is different but you don’t have to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. The washer hookups are located in a closet out of the way. For towing capabilities the electric brakes engage during an extremely hard break so when you need stop quickly with a 20,000 lbs RV it is possible. The tires are hick and reliable.

We special ordered our toy hauler with every option there was. Paid way way to much for this!! So far we replaced all of the plumbing because it was either over tightened and broken off or not even tightened at all. Loose cabinets and the couch had only 2 screws in it to hold it down. We found about 20 broken off screws laying on the floor after we got it. Nothing was caulk ed for the sinks and it all leaked on the rims because they are under mount sinks. Our tub pipe was over tightened and broke off to the point that when you ran the tub it poured ontop of our furnace and shorted it out. Seriously. The curtains were barely hung because of all the broken off screws on them and the windows themselves. So so disappointed in this trailer. There was zero workmanship. Was not taken care of properly. That's not even the half of it. We went through like 5 switches already for the electric recliners so now we don't use them. Just nothing was out together well period, and for what someone is paying for this that is insane!!!! I've heard almost the same stories from others. What is wrong with the manufacturer??? Who do you have working for you? It pulls amazingly. Definitely does not have enough storage. Is definitely not as nice as a raptor which we may be dumping this thing for. We've only had it for about 9 months and I hate it!! I like the patio when we can ever use it since no rv park has a big enough spot obviously. So we've put more time into fixing the broken things then the people who put it together the first time. We bought this for our family, our 4 kids and us. This was supposed to be our home away from home. Thanks a lot heartland for this fixer upper.

We purchased this RV April of 2015 because we really liked the features. Lots of slam door storage, excellent floor plan, two entrance doors, fold down deck with 6 foot sliding glass patio doors, heated tanks and the list goes on! It tows wonderfully, although we have only pulled it short of 2k kilometers in 2 years. Our truck is only a HD 3/4 ton and while it is up to the job on calm days we did not want to move the unit much. The only beef we have is with the way the manufacturer handles the warranty. We recognize that any new unit is going to have issues, but it took us almost 2 years to get the deficiencies repaired to our satisfaction. That was after literally 100's of emails and dozens of phone calls to Heartland! We simple love this RV, but sad to say, we would never purchase a Heartland RV again!

Bought this trailer 12/22/2015 used it till 9/2016 . the trailer as I told you earlier in another review has had numerous issues . I have to add stress crack caused by not welded stud in wall ,3 delaminations .Each one of these had to have holes cut in sidewalls . the ac issues I the customer had to prove them wrong in order to get replaced .The trailer finally was returned on 6/16/17 and thus sent back do to shoddy workmanship . needless to say a homeowner could have done a better job . Trailer was filthy the roof where had to be loosened re installed incorrectly and sloppy , just slap the silicone on all over molding and almond roof .The interior has body work dust all over it ,recliners unbolted just thrown in place couch cushions just thrown in . The driver told his dispatcher he was embarrassed to deliver it and if it was his he would refuse it . This is just a few issues .

This RV has been a nightmare !!!!!!!It's been one thing after another. Front AC has been replaced two times. All five slides don't go out all the way. Electric fireplace burnt up. Wires in control panel burnt up, when using the remote. Shower door keeps falling out of track. Black tank doesn't open and close right. Had to replace pump. Striker on stove top stopped working. I could go on and on, but I'll stop here. Do like we did and be sure you take the extended warranty or you will be sorry if you don't. GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOU FULL TIME RV'ERS

We are full time for almost 3 years. During that time we almost had to replace or repair major equipment. We took out the insure part of our new rv. They told us that if we had to stay in a motel they would pay. Lied to us. Plus had to pay for most repairs. Will never get a bighorn again.

My family of four and I have been traveling around the country for the past 18 months in our 3650BH. It has been an amazing experience. We haven't had any major issues and have lived comfortablly while seeing amazing places. It tows easily for its size and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Forget the toyhauler, this bunkhouse is much more functional.

Because my wife is going to retire next year we decided to upgrade our RV. We picked a full day that we could go to every dealer along the Wasatch Front. We picked the 3380RL because of all the open room. What a mistake!!! We have had this unit since the end of May and had one thing after another go wrong starting with the range unit on being anchored down and sliding half way out. The list is up to 24 items, some are small while others just really make going camping kind of a pain. I take into the dealer this week and told them to keep it till it's all fixed. Sure am glad it comes with a 2 year warranty. Need to see if I can still get an extended one. I still have 7 years till I can retire and not sure if it will last that long. Pass on Sundance

This 5th wheel was our first 5th wheel but 3rd trailer. The quality is good but not great. No major issues but there were three problems. The black water valve got stuck partially open due to a piece of wood in the tank/line. The Awning was shorted about 6" of the rod that slides thru the connecting bracket on the coach. Both items fixes under warranty. Close inspection after purchase showed some minor finish details overlooked such as finish nails not puttied, bathtub not caulked behind the bathroom cabinet. Minor stuff but shows some lack of attention to detail. All in all it has been a good purchase no regrets. If we upgrade we would consider another Heartland product but would not rule out other brands.

I called heartland and basically got told its not their problem and to take it up with someone who cares. So far im out $900 in tires and havent even gotten the trailer fixed yet. Problems First trip furnace quit, fireplace didn't work, air conditioner in living room not working right. second trip flat tire, second flat tire, replaced tires. Heartland said tires failed because of road hazards, tire dealer said the tires came apart, when changing tires found that the THIRD TIRE was coming apart. The spec sheet said that this trailer had Good year tires WRONG it had towmax tires. Had the trailer back to camping world in Akron, OH where we bought it, they have not called us back to bring it in for repairs. No more Heartland or Camping World

After you receive your Heartland Trailer don't expect any tech support from the factory. They will tell you anything you want to hear just so they can get off the phone. Now that they have your number they just don't pick up or stall sooo long that you give up.

That being said, I sincerely think that "ALL" trailer manufactures are sorta that way. I have talked to lots of full timers that say the same about numerous manufactures. 😩

We purchased this 5th wheel in the spring of 2015 new. Within 9 months the bumper & frame in the landing legs compartment were rusted. Heartland refused to fix, stated rust wasn't covered under warranty. We had an Outback for 6 years prior to this purchase & it did not have any rust on it when we traded it in. My husband had sand & repaint the bumper & frame himself. At the same time the landing legs would not go up all the way with the motor, it would start straining and blow the fuse requiring us to manually raise the legs. We were traveling & no Heartland dealer would work on it because we didn't buy it there. Other camper repair places would also not work on it. We were told the reason they don't want to do warranty work is because Heartland is horrible about paying & they have to fight to get their money. The problems are never ending, the trim work is all bowed, we have had to repair the refrigerator. Paint is peeling off the inside of the microwave, rubber trim work on outside is cracking & peeling. We have had so many problems I can't remember them all. Most recently on the inside of one of the slide outs the trim work is pulling loose & we use support bars under our slide outs. Today we arrived at our destination to find that the bumper is broken & pulling off where it is connected to the camper. We are thankful that it did not come completely off on the road and crash into a vehicle behind us along with our bikes. There are no words to describe our disappointment in this product. Heartland has been of absolutely no help, they do not stand behind their product, once you pull it off the lot you are on your own. My husband has been forced to make the repairs himself because it is so hard to find anyone to work on it. We will NEVER buy another Heartland product and we try to tell everyone about our experience so they will not have to go through the same thing.

This is our 2nd 5th wheel and was quite the upgrade when we purchased our 2015 Sundance XLT 267RL 5th wheel. This 28'3" is perfect for my wife and I. The Sundance XLT 267RL is the perfect combination of recreation and residential camping and living. Overall this is an upper end high quality 5th wheel. We love how this unit tows with our Ford F250 7.3L Super Duty truck as the unit was actually made for a 1/2 ton truck. Love the 88 degree turning technology. Would recommend this unit for the first time or seasoned 5th wheel user.

I love the Heartland Landmark Savannah. We have been living in it full time since, December 2015. I didn\'t think I would like living in a 5th wheel, but it is very roomy and comfortable bedroom. The shower is a sit down shower, so very roomy. I never owned one before this or have I ever stayed in one. I have to say that I fell in love with this kind of living. We had ours delivered and can only go by the drivers remarks and he said he didn\'t have any problems with towing it. I also love my island kitchen with lots of pantry and storage. I didn\'t even fill all storage compartments. The closet is spacious for a 5th wheel. There is storage under the bed, which helps alot.

It\'s heavy.. But thats ok.. To big for one person.. And while I\'m not completely dissatisfied with it, I am more than a little disappointed with it.. Straight off the lot, the grey water tank from the kitchen area came loose. Trim falling off inside and out.. Air blows thru the windows , closed or not.. Something is happening to the floor covering, i don\'t know what it is but its rolling up in the middle.. Hydraulic jacks will not level. Paneling for the cabinets is starting to :wrinkle:?.. Although I haven\'t had electrical issues, the wiring looks like it was pieced together off the shop floor. And now, due to a hail storm in Canada, I have a busted skylight in the washroom over the shower.. Not really a big deal, EXCEPT THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT. I\'m going to have to get one custom made?!?!?! This is ridiculous .. If I EVER get rid of this thing.. I will NEVER buy another Heartland product again and I will not recommend one.. I bought this unit new, I am the only person to use it, and I do my best to take care of it.. But the quality is less than poor.. And for the money that is paid for these things, it should be a priority.

Heartland Landmark is a quality luxury rv. The insulation is excellent and we like that Landmark has many residential features that are rated for full time use. Shortly after our purchase, one of the roller shades did not pull down properly. One call to Heartland and a very nice rep overnighted us the replacement shade without any redtape or inconvenience. This is a beautiful toy hauler and we love it but there have been problems since we bought it new. When purchased, we noticed the cargo door was warped. It was under warranty and was replaced. The back door wouldn't open and had to be adjusted. The awning LED lights didn't work and had to be replaced. The globe on the hanging light fixture in the kitchen shook loose and shattered. There are 2 electric side awnings that would not retract while we were camping. We had to have a repairman come to the RV park to override the motor and retract them manually. The ceiling exhaust fan motor went out and had to be closed manually.

We are very happy with this 5th wheel in most aspects except quality and warranty work. Having been into the dealership twice for work, not considered major, both times have taken months to get fixed. I find this is true of most all RV repairs, not just my dealer. We are a little disappointed in the quality of our rig based on its selling price. I also find most dealers know less about RV's than the buyer. Most problems could have been caught with an improved quality program at the manufacturer. Now out of warranty, I will correct all future problems myself and save all the hassle.

As with any new RV, you can expect to find a few bugs, and I found my dealer and Heartland slow to make repairs and ship parts. Unit tows great. After 15 months, all E range tires failed. Replaced them with G range at my expense. After 18 months, 2 springs failed. Replaced with 4k springs at my expense that fixed problem. Frig 1K inverter failed at 20 months. Replaced with 2K. Now for 2 years unit is great. Just did a 6000 mile trip FL to CA and back with zero issues. No furniture or appliance issues at all. Coach is sound. Everything works. We bought our RV in November 2014. When we first took it out to the smokies the ac in front went out! We had it replaced. When we got back the new one went out had to be replaced again! Of course it was under warranty. It was still very inconvenient for summer time. We have had three blow outs. Even after having our tires checked out befor leaving. The first blow out took off the part of camper that covers the wheels. Next trip we had two blowouts! Needless to say I'm very disappointed in the workmanship. It was in the shop for 5 weeks getting parts & fixing a list of items that were broken or not working. After getting it back the holding tank fell out again after a few months. Heartland is now telling us that we have to pay for part of the repairs. They will only pay for the general holding tank repairs not to fix all the plumbing that was pulled out & broken with holding tank. Very unsatisfied.

I have owned this model for about 3 years and have found this 5th Wheel to be great quality and an excellent 5th wheel for spending a lot of time in. The layout is great with ample room to move about and it has lots of storage both inside and out. The six point auto leveling system makes camp ground setup a breeze. I opted not to get two upgrades: the auto satellite system and washer/dryer package. My wife prefers to have the additional storage space where the washer/dryer would go and as far as the auto satellite system I carry a Tailgater to satellite and a house dish which I set up for extended stays. The trailer did come with the satellite prep package pre-wired for the Winegard Travler. When it comes to towing, I have a Ford F350 6.7 Turbo Diesel pickup which tows this trailer with ease. I was very skeptical when it came to the size and hauling this behind my truck but when we pulled out of the dealership I found it towed with no problems. I did install a Voyager Rear View Camera system and find that having it while towing makes lane changes and backing up a breeze. It has 3 slide outs and with the remote touch screen control extending the slides at a camp ground is very easy as you can monitor the slides as they extend and can stop immediately if clearance problems arise. Overall this is a great trailer to own.

When my wife first saw our Big Horn She fell in love with the floor plan. She liked the island kitchen and the walk in pantry.

After our first trip we brought the coach back to the dealer with a list of things to take care of like the doors not closing properly and things not fitting properly. Some of the complaints were taken care of others of the complaints were dismissed by saying none of the doors are square. They laughed and said they were RV square.

We bought our trailer to spend the winters in FL. We have had our trailer since Aug of 2013. Since then we replaced the High Point micro wave convection oven with a residential unit because it was under powered (not covered by warranty) When we first got to FL we had power issues and we found that none of the circuit breakers were tightened down properly (paid for service call and breakers) as we began to live in our rig the doors began popping off because they were installed improperly (service call and repair fee) this happened three times and all of the vertical opening doors had to be re hung. We have had the Air conditioners replaced three times (trip charge for each replacement). The central vac was replaced once and now its stopped working again. The las repair was the black water cable, the cable was not secured or routed properly so there was another service call and a repair fee plus the part this time.

Heartland's warranty only covers dealer service if you are living in your rig you have to take it to a warranty station empty your refrigerator and take your valuables then get a hotel to stay in while your rig is being repaired. Or you can pay for the service call and labor for minor repairs yourself like we did because you save money in the long run. The the stove oven in awful. It is hard to clean and takes both of us to lite the pilot. The oven is hard to clean not level and has hot spots. Finally, the finish is coming of the kitchen island cabinets from wiping them with a damp cloth and the same thing is happening to the chairs.
The salesman told us how we would love our pleather interior well in two years we had to replace both recliners because the pleather finish was coming off the backing.

In conclusion, although the floor plan was perfect for us the quality control is very poor and the appliances & furnishings are not designed for a full timer.

This RV is the biggest piece of crap I have ever had,,,,, $70K. Everything that is imaginable is wrong. It has been sitting in my driveway since last summer. I have so many repairs to do I don't even want to take it out. Holding tank broke, Slide broke cheap tires Powerpaws lasted 1 month, Water pump lasted 1 year and a day. Right now I am trying to replace the sink in the bathroom. The plumbing was so far out of line the cheap plastic sink broke because they bent the trap to install . Called Heartland , they called me back that they have no sink to fit. Really? under the sink has wood I grinded out Found a Porcelan sink to fit, Glued it in, reinforced it because it is heavy. Got it in and now the trap wont fit because it comes out crooked. This is our 2nd fifth wheel and we were amazed from the day we took it home how well it tows. It doesn't chuck at all...our previous did...and that was with a standard pin box. We ordered ours and it only had some cosmetic issues examples are one of the dinette chairs had a short leg and we felt the sofa cushions weren't wearing well...Heartland customer service is excellent...they replaced both with no questions asked. What's great about Heartland is you can work with them directly rather than just through a dealer. This model is very residential-like...lots of kitchen cabinets, a large center island, large entertainment center, sofa and recliners and lots of walking space in the living area. The bath is great as well because it has a lot of storage and a Mega bath shower. We also like that the kitchen and bath are fully accessible when the slide-outs are in making travel so much better.

Lived on and off in this RV for 2 1/2 years. Overall, I am
pleased with the quality. Initially I had a shower faucet leak that went undetected until furnace didn't work. Slow leak corroded the motherboard. It was repaired and no further problem. Kitchen sink had a leak somewhere? Repair attempt but never corrected. Electric fireplace sporadically worked? Other than that, we had no major problems. Never had a weather related leak, which I've experienced in other RVs. Pulled great for a heavy RV. Finishes held up overall. Easy to wash and maintain. Awning LEDs were junk! I replaced with a quality strip. The 3 slides always functioned well and never leaked. Wife liked all the drawer space, especially in the bathroom. Knowing the limitations and expectations of RVs, I'd strongly consider Heartland again. Warranty work on any RV is too dependent on independent dealers. Being handy is almost a necessity when owning an RV, in my opinion.

This RV towed so nicely we almost forgot it was there. The turning radius is excellent. It is easy to level. The hookups are protected in the chassis and the completely sealed body makes the RV function well as a 4 season RV. It is very livable with enough counter space in the kitchen to cook easily. Living room furniture is very comfortable and the free standing dinette with chairs is a superior choice over booth type dining.

Purchased it new and we took a trip to Washington and then to South Carolina and back to California. Had no trouble towing over the Rockies with my F150 since its a Aluminum frame and a Fiberglass body. Everything worked. Easy to tow YES! Comfortable YES! The rear door extender was bad, had to take it off. Had to wait 2 months to get replacement.

Since purchase we have been very pleased with the performance of this trailer. It is towed by a Ford F-150 and has not been difficult to trail. The massive King slide along with separate main sleeping area, dual doors, substantial insulation, closed underside have made this tug an excellent performer in Florida summers and Georgia/Alabama winters ( as low as 25 degrees). The views are expansive with the numerous windows - more windows than typical similar rigs. We back up to water or vista and the rear window shines. Storage is adequate for a week or two away from civilization. Smooth exterior walls and Fiberglas front are durable and look good after three years. Reasonable performance and features for the street price.

The travel trailer is a great floor plan. It can sleep 6, and it very airy feeling over all. It pulls great it only weighs 5,200 lb so easy to tow. The only thing we don't like is the fact that it doesn't have a second bedroom for the children. We thought it would be ok , but now we realize that its little inconvenient to have to make the couch into a bed all the time.
Other than that I do love the trailer.
Its perfect for a retired couple or a younge family with one child I guess.

If you’re about to spend thousands of $$$ for an RV, you may want to read this.

I can’t go RV’ing because my 2014 HEARTLAND Wilderness leaks grey water all over the ground. I bought it NEW from dealer, 6 attempts to get the problem fixed, 4 of those attempts resulted in repairs being made, which have all failed. Dealer (multiple locations) keeps putting a band-aid on a fracture. Dealeronly does repairs that Heartland will allow/approve. I have been fighting this battle with dealer and manufacturer for over a year now and it seems I have lost.

“”As previously noted, Dealer sold the RV “AS IS” and excluded from the sale all express or implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.””---Dealer.

“Additional components which have been installed in the recreational vehicle, including but not limited to microwave ovens, ranges, refrigerators, leveling jacks, furnaces/heaters, generators, power converters, batteries, and other items not specifically manufactured by Heartland RV, LCC, are warranted by the component manufacturers as detailed in their individual manufacturers warranties, and are not covered by this Limited Warranty”--- excerpt from my Heartland owner’s manual.

So between the two above “disclaimers” good luck getting your Heartland RV repaired correctly under warranty. My warranty has now expired, while sitting at the dealer location awaiting repairs, after having spent almost half its life in repair shops. Do your research, make your own decision and good luck RV’ing. Beware…Heartland makes.

Items that have fallen off, broken, or failed: spare tire cover, holding tank drain cap, holding tank T-handle, TV mounting screws, rear bumper end cap, oven wouldn’t stay lit, exit door threshold, stabilizer mounting screws, shore power coupling mounting screws, kitchen sink drain plumbing, bathroom sink drain plumbing, external propane coupling, water heater wiring bundle, kitchen drawer, main entry door, main entry screen door, mattress collapsed, TV cable connector, shower faucet valves(both), shower drain plumbing leak. Oh yeah, it was still winterized upon delivery and the tires weren’t even aired up.

If this sounds like sour grapes, it is, because I have a brand new, at time of purchase, $20,000 RV that I can’t use and can’t get fixed. Thanks Dealer and HEARTLAND for putting an expensive and disheartening impediment to my retirement.

This post is regarding my purchase and ownership of a 2014 Heartland Wilderness.

Our Landmark Key Largo has proven to be a well built, nicely equipped and very livable design. We added a generator and automatic satellite antenna making our "almost full-timer" travels as nice as being at home. It's made our travels through 12 states and over 8,000 miles during the last 13 months fun and relaxing. We've been extremely comfortable during a 3 month summer tour staying at lakes in AR, KY, TN and MI with high humidity and temps near 100 F....to extended winter snowbird stays (3 - 6 mo's) in Tucson/Phoenix and then Naples, Fl. We've even travelled through cold winter weather (25 F with blowing snow) through the mountains of NM where we stayed warm and comfortable several nights. The interior continues to impress the Mrs. on the kitchen layout while I like the size of the basement storage space. We've also added a washer and dryer to make our long term travel more independent and was pleased by the Key Largo tank capacities supporting the additional water load. While we have experienced a few maintenance issues during our travels (mostly loose water and drainage pipes and wood drawers/shelves needing screws and glue)....we are impressed overall with the quality and construction. The major item we do not like is the carpet quality which should be upgraded in the hall and bedroom. We also recommend it should not be used in the living room and instead have vinyl for durability and ongoing cleanliness. Our unit is very solid and pulls easily by our F-350 dually giving us confidence of a safe travel wherever we go.

After having the coach not even a year...the couch started to peel. the bathroom door fell off the tracks, the paneling in the closets started to come undune. Don"t fool yourself into thinking you can safely tow this beast with a 2500/3500 or F250/F350...You will be over your legal limit and there are several states that know this and the highway patrol will pull you for a hefty fine. when we got back from our vacation from the grand canyon..I purchased a Volvo road tractor and a BD3 hitch and now I don't worry about being able to stop in a hurry. If I do this again, it will be a smaller coach and probably a Keystone. I had way less trouble with build quality on the Raptor than this beast.

The party bench is not good. It is hard to sit 4 people at the table because there is padding against the wall. You lose space for eating. There isn't enough fridge space to have a family of 4+ living in it for a week or more. Not having any door in the cubby over the fridge makes for things to fall while traveling. The faucet in the outside kitchen is so small you can't fit your hands under to clean, let alone any dishes. The camper sits too low, maybe because the suspension is not high enough making getting into gas stations with a slight hill difficult, causing the the bumper to hit the floor. Besides these things, the camper is very comfortable. The fireplace makes it cozy during the colder nights. The 2 bathrooms make it handy for a larger family. The bunk room is really large leaving lots of space, even for people to sleep on the floor. The outside kitchen is so handy for those outside dinners. Very practical fifth-wheel.

We purchased our Big Horn from Curtis Trailers in Portland , Oregon. We ordered it from the RV show. Absolutely love our Big Horn. Our Heartland factory rep rep, Mike Moreland, and our Dealer rep, Trevor Curtis have been absolutely outstanding before, during and after the sale. We have always received top notch service from both gentleman!

As far as the Big Horn? This was our first ever RV purchase. We love the quality, livability and towing our Big Horn. Three years after purchasing it, and glamping at least once every moth, we are still in love with it. The auto leveling system and electric cord real make set up and tear down very simple. Can't say enough good things about our Big Horn, Heatland or Curtis Trailers. Highly recommend them! We love it so much, Trevor and Mike are now helping us upgrade to the Big a Horn Rear Den. We have so much faith in both of these guys and in Heartland, we bought it site unseen! Can't wait until it gets delivered and we go glamping!

We bought the trailer brand new from the dealership. The first thing we noticed was the entire inside of the trailer was soaked after traveling through a rainstorm. Both Heartland and the dealer did not want to fix but Heartland Warranty suggested to file an insurance claim and they would then fix it. After posting a video of the water leak on the Heartland website did they get interested in fixing the leak. The wiper seal was torn. The next thing was the converter and microwave were destroyed due to low voltage. Both the dealer and Heartland would not fix cause they stated that it was a problem at the campsite. Their suggestion was to file a claim against the campground. Spent better part of this season trying to figure out the electrical issues. No dealer could tell me why the trailer had an open neutral. Pulled the 50 amp plug from the back of the trailer and found that Heartland had broke the plug on the backside of the wall. They decided to use it anyway and just taped over the screws. All of the screws were loose causing the open neutral. Heartland declined to reimburse me for a $67.00 part as it was out of warranty. The caliber of a company is measured after the sale. I will never buy and suggest to everyone else to purchase a Thor Industry product as the service after the sale is not in line with their own Corporate Standards.

I have had so much trouble with this unit. Call the manufacturer and they hung up on me. Do not and I mean do not buy one of these. Within the first couple of months are toilet blew up and sprayed water all over the unit. Our water pump went out. Now we've had to replace the cooling unit on a refrigerator. Now our Hydraulics are currently broken. We have a leak in the slide that can't be fixed. We have blown 3 tires on one trip. Replaced All 4 which cost us a bundle. No one wants to do anything to help us. The Finish came off the cabinet's within the first month. This is truly a piece of junk.

For being 37 foot long it tows with ease behind any 1/2 ton or SUV. Over all a great camper. The kids just loved the bunk area. It is set up for a tv and has a good bit of storage. I bought this 3200 RS new in 2013. Wonderful layout, very comfortable. Nice interior. Now the rest of it is junk. The shower door track was installed backwards so water dumped into the floor during showers, I fixed that myself. Next, the left side of the Lippert Correct Track suspension broke and fell out from under my rig going down the road and I almost lost the entire camper. Dealer says Sorry, it's out of warranty! I had to pay for a new suspension system so i went with the better Equaflex system. So far it's much better. Next the shop that installed the suspension hits the corner of rear left side and back wall and it comes unsealed. They deny it of course so insurance pays to fix it and it's a horrible job so I'm trading it in soon. AC units work fine, good storage, tv, fireplace, fridge, bathroom, water lines, all good. This was a very expensive camper but the quality is just not there.

We owned the Landmark San Antonio fifth wheel for 4 1/2 years and my spouse was extremely satisfied with the floor plan, particularly the full bath and BR vanity. The tow process was much better than expected and at times it felt like the fifth wheel was not even hitched up which was pulled by a 1 ton truck. Brakes appeared to work very well. Roof and exterior paint has shown minimal wear. Lots of storage space, both interior and exterior. LR is nicely arranged and extremely convenient for guests. Kitchen and dining table are very appropriately planned. The BR has adequate closet space and the king sized is a very welcome amenity. The biggest drawback is the 42 foot length may not always fit into smaller RV sites and the unit can work on 30 amp hook up, but 50 amp is preferred and may not always be available at state parks. One point of interest as we were leaving an RV park in San Antonio, TX, a guest at the park rushed up and asked where we were taking her house? We really enjoyed the San Antonio fifth wheel, but it is time for an upgrade. Respectfully submitted.

We loved our RV when first purchased. Now it is an embarrassment. We are the joke was f the park as everyday we have something else to fix. Trim is peeling, bathroom stall is cracking, stripping was putting on properly water got under rusted the screws and yup you guessed it came apart, rubber around slides falling apart, light switch covers crooked, can't fill the fresh water it sprays out, rain water splashed above tires and now both slides are rotting and every time we pull slides out we hope the fridge and/or table doesn't fall on the ground. We have not pulled for 3 years so can't say it's the driving. So poorly made and so disappointed with our 100,000 dollar investment. Think twice before purchasing one of these products.

This has been the best RV we have ever owned and we have owned not only Class A and C but also a couple of other high end 5th wheels. There is a reason that this trailer won best in show across the country and the one regret is that is that had we waited a month, it would have been a 2013. Our latest Heartland unit is a Landmark Grand Canyon and we are very happy with it. This our second and we are looking at a third. This model won best in show at most of the RV shows across the country and it is no suprise. We looked at almost every unit out there and went with the higher end unit as it included most of the options offered on less expensive units. Ultimately there are always going to be issues with a unit and the Landmark just seemed to have less of them and this has been confirmed by other owners we have met in our travels. We cross the country every year both ways and can say without hesitation, this is the easiest pulling, best amenities and quickest setup unit we have ever owned and that is why we are going back for another.

While almost 'all' RV's are 'not' built to top-flight standards (IMHO), ours has turned out to be 'better than average' and I have no serious complaints about it - other than - the water lines were clamped together with 'weak' clamps that I had to replace (completely) to eliminate constant water leaks.

Anyone buying a 5th wheel NEW OR USED would be well advised to checkout their water lines and how they are connected and clamped.

Never again Two blown hydraulic hoses under bed, fridge can't keep anything frozen much less cold, delamination in several places, constant water lines leaking, two windows have leaked, cheapest carpet made, poor quality workmanship, needs a new ladder, manufacture can not guarantee what ladder was put on it, propane hose rupture, hot water element went out, air mattress leaked first use (at seams). Manual is useless, you would think they could make it model specific. Toilet valve failed, drawers will not stay in during travel, finish coming off cabinets. Wiring behind main panel looks as if it's cheap Chinese extension cord ( looks like a rats nest). In general you can tell they don't care how it's put together as long as it stays together long enough to unload it on the consumer. Hoping to find a low bridge somewhere.

When looking and viewing 5th wheels, there were a few things that we wanted: The insulation is foam in exterior walls/ceiling, the front landing gear is hydraulic- extremely rapid. The interior is very functional- a closet at the entrance- rare in most other models which contains a combination w/d close to kitchen, a computer station, including shelf for the printer. The kitchen is designed to allow access to the refrigerator even when the slides are closed- also rare. The bathroom can be used while someone uses the shower. We've had visitors for as long as two months, and with 2 tv's, and a queen bed (air) under sofa with MBR at opposite end, everyone was comfortable. As for driving- it happens!- I actually forgot I was hauling and could have had a mirror clipping occurance in a restaurant parking lot before someone got my attention:) - all in all- this model is very practical, and proud to be using it.

We were not seriously considering a 5th wheel this size but when we saw this one online, we immediately loved it for the big kitchen. Seeing it in person sealed the deal. We have taken several trips of 6 weeks or longer and never tire of being in the RV. What helps most is the big refrigerator and lots of storage space, inside and in the "garage." We added the ventless washer dryer and never regretted that. It is so much nicer to do the majority of your laundry in your own "home" - we just used the laundromats for the king sized sheets. I didn't think we would use the fireplace much but we used it frequently on colder nights when there was no threat of freezing. It saved us a great deal on propane. We stow an full size inflatable mattress under the sofa and pillows stow in the under corner of the sofa (there is a plywood cover that lifts to access the space. We can sleep two grandkids there or the parents on that full sized bed and the grandkids on the sofa. We carefully cut the back sofa cushions free from the sofa so it makes a wider sleeping space. The cushions will stay in place without that flap attachment. All around great traveling with this RV!

Purchased because I liked the floor plan and bought the company's hype about their floor manufacturing process. However, this is one poorly built trailer. The hardware is cheap and as one begins to repair things it becomes apparent Heartland uses many ridiculously shoddy construction techniques. The ducts for the ac really don't work ... don't be fooled; there's almost no air flow. Our servicing dealer has even expressed multiple concerns about Heartland's manufacturing. Wouldn't recommend any of their products.

What's great about this size RV is that you can get in and out around gas pumps, Restaurants and places on the road much better than a 40 ft unit. the only thing I don't like about this unit is the double bunk in the rear of the trailer does not go high enough for some RTV's to enter. Some RTV are 80 inches tall.

I love this RV. Single superslide provides ample living space on main floor for cooking dining entertaining watching TV. Table and chairs make for flexible seating. Two recliners great for watching TV and relaxing. Ample hot water from water heater. Roof insulation and AC serve to keep RV cool in summer. Big baçk window offers great panoramic view. Bedroom can be separated for privacy with door from rest of RV. Basement offers lots of storage. Remote control for operating stabilizer kacks is easy to use. Rig is a snap to tow with heavy duty hitxh. Ceramic toilet bowl is a nice touch. Exterior speakers make entertaining enjoyable.

My family really likes the room, but the trailer was not well built and have had three room leaks and two of these was when the trailer was very new. Heartland would not stand behind the room leak and it was taken to two different repair centers and paid to have it worked on by a mobile repair company in Gulf Shores Alabama during a rain storm where we had to place the garbage can under the leak for the night it was leaking so bad. I have owned two Gulf Streams without issues and bout a Heartman and had nothing but issues not to mention the break issues we had on the trailer. No more Heartland Rv's. There not built well and don't stand behind the product.

After 6 years of ownership we have had nothing but problems with this trailer. Water leaks in the slide outs, the heater died twice, the kitchen sink leaked, the shower leaked and now we found the roof is rotting, a big soft spot in one location. I spoke with customer relations and they told me there is nothing they can do. $40K+ trailer that is 6 seasons old and it's not good to us. I like to floor plan. My next step is to contact Heartland again with the roof problem. I also found a spot behind a gutter drain that was never calked and allow water into a side panel. Poor quality control. I would never buy another Heartland product.

Anyone buying one of these POS fifth wheels is making a mistake. Four season insulation? Only if you live where it doesn't get below 50 or above 80. Oven takes an act of Congress to light, and we all know how Congress is. Trying to find something positive about this thing, still looking. Oh btw don't try to get fan in the bedroom vent, these mental geniuses didn't bother to put a 12v line near the vent. Sorry I bought this thing.

We wintered several times in Arizona when the temperature was unseasonably cold and the wonderful fireplace in the living area was a complete joy. Also, the central vacuum system in this unit makes housekeeping a breeze.

Not happy. HEartland does not back anything. They cast blame on manufactures of who they buy through. Numerous problems with furniture falling apart, mattress springs popping through, cable doesn't work, holding tank valves leak by, skylight cracked after one year, roof leaked, shower door doesn't close all the way, no urethane coating on gel coat, weathered and oxidized after two years. I'm stuck with this 64k POS. There is no pride in workmanship or QA.

We thoroughly enjoyed this travel trailer. I has more than enough room for the family and friends to go camping. The air conditioner works perfectly and has a remote control. The heater also works great. you have to lower the heat at night because it warms up the camper a lot. It has plenty of storage space and the electric awning is a great feature. you can adjust each arm of the awning to lower one side or the other for the rail to run off of it. You have the ability to hook up a TV in the back room and it has a door for privacy. You can also hook up a TV to the stereo so you can have sound throughout the whole trailer, even outside. It has plenty of freshwater supply and black and grey water storage, as well. This trailer is in very good condition ready for the next family to take it out on the road.

We've had several brands of 5th wheels and decided to give Heartland a shot. First thing I noticed was that all 3 cable housings for the holding dump valves were pushed out of the crimped mounts at the handle. After removing the mounted cable ends (I'm a career aircraft mechanic), I crimped them back and still found one of them impossible to manipulate, so I decided to just change the valves and dismantle the cables and lube them. What REALLY griped me is that I found that one of the cables was pinched between the floor and frame rail when the unit was assembled, and it took a pry bar to dislodge the housing. The second thing about that that I discovered, is that they use an off the shelf Valterra cable that they do not cut to fit...there was a 10 foot cable used to manipulate a valve that was 4 feet away, and instead of make the cable fit, they just coiled it up under the belly (after it was pinched during assembly) and called it good...I made them the correct length, and they work effortlessly. We also noticed 2 weeks later, is the rear wall was rotten from the inside out due to a water leak, and as a result I climber a ladder to reseal the roof only to find that it had been sealed and re-sealed numerous times already, probably in a bid to stop the water leak that was rotting out the rear wall and is likely the reason for the skin delamination all over the exterior anywhere near a seam....as is likely WHY it was traded in, and I ended up with it. Now don't get me wrong, we love the layout of the unit and it is frankly beautiful in appearance, but all of that pales against a lack of quality control in manufacturing...which ours shows, and it may make us chose differently next time, especially after I wrote to the company and asked for a wiring diagram/manual, and the factory refused, and told me to take it to a dealer. First impressions are a killer.

We bought this RV both for the beauty and the comfort. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the black paint that was on the cap when we bought the RV faded quickly. We thought it was 'normal' and didn't call Heartland to complain. We later found out that the black paint they used was some type of jell that would not withstand the sun's rays. We called a paint and body shop and got a quote of $550 to sand and re-paint the cap using white instead of black. We felt Heartland should reimburse us since this was a factory flaw. They would not. The paint and body shop did a fantastic job. Our RV looks like new now.

We purchased this unit brand new because we were impressed by the quality that we saw in it at a camper show. It has 12" carrying beam while many others have 10" and 7,000 lb axles.(others have 6,000.) It's a quality unit and one for which the company stands.

We used it constantly for seven years and never had any major problem with it. We enjoyed the many optional features like : fireplace, washer/ dryer, central vac, arctic package, dual pane windows, etc,etc..it was easy to use and easy to tow.

We towed it with our Deisel F 450 very easily. The truck, too, was very reliable and was also equipped with many options which we added . The mileage was very respectable while towing and the truck has not reached 93,000 miles.

We always enjoyed using this comfortable unit and traveling with it to some of the total of 48 states that we visited. In addition, we toured Mexico and many parts of Alaska.

We hope New owners of this fun unit will continue to live the dream as we have done.

Super, well-made trailer. Miles and miles of family vacations and nothing needed to be repaired.

We forgot to close a window and because they open out, inside of to the side it flew off - uh oh - our fault and had a new window installed right away.

Very lightweight and nimble - holds value.

Only complaint was that the shower was so small it was difficult for my husband to use and he is only 5' 6".

Also, no partition between bed and living area.

Overall this is a great toy-hauler. At 36\' it\'s short enough not to be a huge problem maneuvering, but with 3 axles and a 12\" frame, it\'s plenty sturdy to take whatever you throw at it. And it has HUGE carrying capacity, with the 18K max gross provided by the 3-axle configuration. Note that in 2010 Heartland figured out that this rig was overbuilt, and produced the 3010 - the identical box, but on a 10\" frame with just 2 axles. That rig has a MUCH lower gross and carrying capacity because of that. Negatives which I\'ve fixed are the Lippert ramp - which has a tendency to fail. Mine is now sandwiched between two 18\" pieces of diamond-plate at the hinges (PS: ALL Lippert ramps on ALL toy-haulers have this issue). The suspension was barely adequate - fixed with an upgraded rubber-mounted hangers. Lousy China-Bomb tires failed at 20K miles, when I replaced them with Michelin Light Truck tirers. I will NEVER worry about my tires again. And like any heavy 5th-wheel, there was a lot of \"chucking\" going down the road. Fixed that with a Demco Pull-Rite pin box. Overall we are VERY pleased with this trailer, after 39000 miles and three cross-country trips. We couldn\'t have chosen a better rig!

This toy hauler is big! I was amazed that my 6'6 husband didn't have to duck while inside. It has a loft above the entertainment center that has a queen mattress. above the kitchen is a storage loft. Over all it can sleep 12 comfortably. The main thing from a woman's point of view," I was impressed with all of the storage options! I have to admit that was my main concern. Quality was the big issue. We have full timed in this fifth wheel and have traveled all over the US. Replaced a broken TV, replaced Half Time Oven three times, front landing gear replaced, furnace replaced twice, entire floor of the large door side slide replaced due to manufacturers defect (but I had to pay the $4000) for the replacement, plastic parts in RV started disintegrating at year 4. We love the floor plan, but would not buy another Heartland RV. Cheap furnishings began falling apart at year 3. We 're great house keepers and the RV is never cluttered. Just had to replace the entire suspension, and the repAir facility said the quality of the factory equipment was not only terrible, but very dangerous. Overall, the unit is sufficient, but nothing to rave about.

The only really problem we have had, has been with the leaf springs. The original factory springs didn't last two years. We have replaced them three times now and finally have 7000# springs. Otherwise she has been a wonderful rig. Heartland is a great company and if we ever replace her it will be with another Bighorn.

I've had this toy hauler 7 years and have only had 1 problem the front jacks quit working had to have them replaced. Other wise have had no problems. It could have better cold weather package on it when I'm in cold weather near zero temps the furnace runs all the time.

Great rv for 2 people. We did it with 2 kids and we still loved the room. Tons of storage space! We had no mechanical issues and pulled really well compared to our last camper. I would buy another heartland rv again.
