This is an incredible go-anywhere / do-anything camper. With 4wd and a 7.3L V8 Turbo Diesel, this beast is unstoppable! It will get ya where you want to go -- in style!
Never worry about being stuck - it has a 17000 lb winch, New Tires, New engine & transmission with ~20k miles*. These 7.3L V8 turbo Diesel engines are the best engines out there and will last forever. The vehicle has192k miles (but only 20k on the new engine/transmission).
New in the past year: shocks w/ air ride, Drivelines, bushings, steering box, and stereo w/ backup camera, and much more.
The camper has a fridge/freezer, sink, water heater and outdoor shower, generator, air conditioner, induction stove, tons of storage drawers, Inverter, solar panel, tool box, shade awning, custom bumper/grill, new headlamps, and rooftop deck complete with 4 chairs, table, & umbrella!
I would argue that an ambulance might make the best conversion vehicle if you are planning on off road / overland destinations. It is (over)built so well that its nearly unbreakable (these are built strong enough to flip in an accident and not injure the patients inside). They have so much built-in storage and cabinetry, that you can certainly bring your life on the road with you. Unlike a van, everything has square corners so its easy for you to build upon. And with the current market for vans & van conversions being 6-12 months out, you should definitely consider this rig instead! Also, if you are looking to go to South America, you won't be able to with any modern sprinter van, as they require ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) that might not be available as you travel through centra/south america.
Sadly, I purchased this to take a year long road trip, but recently my startup failed (woof, what a painful slap in the face) so I have to sell it, and ditch the plans for the road trip. Alas, I want it to go to someone who will be able to use this beast to its fullest capacity! So many adventures await it!

*(due to a mistake by a mechanic, the wrong glowplugs were installed on the previous engine which ruined it - thus a new engine / transmission was installed)
