FOR SALE: Excellent Condition $235,000 USD
Class C / Allentown, PA

Thanks for looking at my 2019 Dynamax DX3 37TS Super-C.  This coach has been incredible.  I purchased this Dynamax last June from the original owner and traveled over 20,000 miles during the pandemic covering 35 states and made the most of an extremely unsettled time in the world with my wife and two Virtual-Students.  Now that we have seen everything we set out too, it is time to allow someone else the pleasure of this one-of-a-kind RV.  I did not initially plan on selling this RV when we returned from our adventure, BUT it doesn’t fit into our near-term plans, I would wish to buy this exact same RV again in the future.  I can assure you that this RV is in excellent condition even though the mileage is 40k, EVERYTHING works and many of the kinks have been worked out, resolved and/or updated.  The RV is tight as if it were right off the showroom floor.  Prior to purchasing this RV, my wife and I did ENDLESS research on what we wanted for our trip (Class A vs. Class Super C) and what made the most sense for our family, here are a couple selling points in order from most important (for us):

Service: Being a Freightliner chassis, you can take this to most ANY truck stop/repair shop and they can service it, unlike a Class A where more than likely you will have to find a specific RV dealer and wait. This is invaluable as a vacation can be delayed or not happen due to your reliance on one dealer vs. multiple options.  The hood opens up and the engine is accessible, if you are somewhat mechanical, you can repair/replace numerous things if needed.

Drivability: The Super-C is easy to drive, typically I am steering with one hand. You sit behind the front wheels instead of on top of them (on a class A), this is very similar to driving a normal vehicle, very comfortable.  Also, windy driving days are not nearly as much of an issue as the weight of the engine in the front (rear of a class A) assists in stability.  The previous owner added insulation within the cab to minimize engine noise, we don’t notice engine noise when driving/talking.

Engine: The Cummins Diesel 8.9L L9 350 produces 1150 ft/lbs of torque at 350HP and is everything you need to keep up with most any vehicle on the road.  You are able to manually shift gears to try and maintain your performance at 1800-2200 RPM, going up hills is minimal issue.  These engines are extremely durable and typically go 300,000 to 400,000 miles before major repairs are required.

Towing: We towed a Jeep Wrangler (4500 lbs) for the majority of our trip and you wouldn’t know it is there as far as performance of the RV. Approximately 7 miles/gallon while towing (wind, terrain variable), a little better when not towing (I did get up to 9-10 miles/gallon without the jeep).  Initially, I was thinking I would haul a 20 foot trailer behind BUT I started thinking about maneuverability in the mountains and it was a no-brainer to flat tow the jeep (think about a hair-pin curve in the mountains, ALSO some RV camp sites are limited when utilizing a trailer, flat towing was the way-to-go for us).

Boon Docking: This RV taking into consideration the water tank sizes, propane optional supply to the refrigerator (Minimizes battery drain) and solar panels allows you to be off the grid for extended periods of time while minimizing generator runtime (generator runs on 100 gallon diesel tanks). USB chargers maintain phone and other batteries on simple 12V power and the inverter allows modern conveniences to run off the 12V batteries as well (coffee maker etc.).  Heat for the RV can be ran from the Aqua Hot system which runs off the diesel tanks.  The control system can be setup to automatically start the generator should battery levels deplete lower than expected.  I could easily see living 2 weeks off the grid, the weakness is how many showers you take (The shower has a valve on the nozzle to allow for minimal water usage).

Appearance: This RV is unique, I got endless compliments on the appearance, it is a star at the nicest RV parks in the nation. It is a conversation piece.  Numerous people were unaware of the class super-C and all of the benefits to its design.

This RV was custom built to the specifications of the detail oriented original owner.  He was very involved throughout the process and continued to do a couple modifications to make this unit the best it could be.  He previously had a Forest River Class A and switched for this.  The previous owner lived in Utah and drove it throughout the United States (21,000 miles), however, he did not drive this up to Canada/Alaska which was a discussion point for me (if you have ever driven the Alcan Highway, you will know the shaking/damage that can occur simply from driving down the road), he showed me his road map to confirm (see mine in the pictures attached as we only stayed in the lower 48 due to Covid).  This RV was in a well taken care of state prior to me and I feel that I only enhanced and increased reliability of this RV by updating some in-sufficient/failing factory work.  I truly believe you can take this camping next weekend without worries as I just returned May 14th from a 3 week 4800 mile trip to Colorado.  Prior to this trip I had the service done on the engine and generator service was completed.  The tires are Michelin XZE2 275/80 R 22.5, they look like new and can be found to run well over 300,000 miles commercially, these are minimally-loaded tires and should be of no concern and last long into the future.         Chassis:

The previous owner had the transmission replaced under factory warranty (approximately 6000 miles into the unit). There are no issues with the new transmission.
The 12V wiring system was failing causing lighting, AC and other issues within this system. After endless hours searching for a bad connection, I finally found it, Dynamax had a non-corrosive-resistant connector near the rear wheels containing all the main 12V feeds, numerous wires were corroded and falling out of the connector causing the issues.  The wires were reconnected and sealed.  There have been zero issues since and all electrical systems work.
The balancing hose between the (2) – 50 gallon fuel tanks was missing a support bracket after replacement of the transmission. The hose touched the exhaust pipe and burned allowing the engine to suck air and causing the engine not to start.  The RV had to be towed and repaired (was a simple fix once discovered).  Prior to finding the issue with the hose, the Freightliner dealer replaced the high lift fuel pump (wasn’t necessary but they thought it could be bad and causing the air issue).  No issues since, it starts EVERYTIME and runs as it should.

Terms: $235,000, serious buyers only, no tire-kickers, I have educated you on what this RV is like above. I would FULLY intend on providing a +/-2 hour walk-thru prior to you driving away such that you are comfortable with this specific unit, this is as good or better than any dealer could offer.  I have the title in hand for easy sale.  Wire Transfer would be my choice for transaction.  Depending on your location, I have the ability to drive/meet for pickup.
