FOR SALE: Newmar Mountain Aire

Ok... My sales pitch for this great motorhome!!

Now you will see a lot of Dutchstars listed out there. They truly can't compare to the Mountain Aire. The Mountain Aire is a higher quality motorhome inside and out!

And we have priced this motorhome below NADA Guide by thousands (average retail for this coach is $170,000)!!!

This is a great rig for families! Most motorhomes of this quality and size have sleeping for 4~6. Ours is 7! With a king sized bed (nearly all others are queen sized in the masterbedroom) and a convertible couch plus a bench that converts, it easily sleeps 7.

Diesel vs. Gas. Diesel is the way to go. Why? Well, the engine on this motorhome does not require any servicing for at least 200,000 miles. Unlike gas, there are glow plugs rather than spark plugs and these engines (this is a 400 hp Cummins diesel) are designed to run and run. It has an electronic Allison transmission and one of the reasons we got it is that this one, like other diesels, has a "Jake Brake", meaning when you take your foot off the gas pedal, the engine brakes the motorhome, down to 15 miles per hour. A huge safety feature, particularly when trying to stop a 15 ton vehicle coming over a hill or overpass. It also allows you a long life on your brakes. And finally, it is a quiet, low rpm running engine. Cruising at 65 miles per hour, the engine run at about 1700 rpm. Again, allowing very little servicing on the drive system. Built on a Freightliner body, with air suspension system, it truly glides down the highway.

Other features of the Newmar Mountain Aire are the Amish made, solid maple cabinets and corian counter tops and quality materials you don't find on lower end motorhomes. From full paint on the outer body to large capacity holding tanks and insulation on this motorhome, the Mountain Aire is one the best motorhomes in its class.

We have added the in-motion satellite dish, allowing passengers to watch their favorite shows while the driver cruises down the road. You can listen to satellite radio (via Direct TV XM radio) through the in-motion system as well. We also have 2 DVD players to run on each television (one in the front and one in the master bedroom), VCR, Bose surround sound system so there is plenty for folks to keep themselves occupied while cruising down the road. An am/fm/9 disk cd changer with speakers in the front as well as in the master bedroom are just a few more goodies to have to entertain you while driving down the road.

Other features include: dual roof air w/ heat pumps, 7.5k Generator, CB Antennas, bus size tires, lighted basement storage, electric power cord, water hose reel, rear view color camera, rear ladder, frig with icemaker, double sink in the kitchen, 3-Burner stove, convection/Microwave, sculptured neutral carpets, leather pilot/ co-pilot heated seats, 150 gallon fuel tank (range approx 1100 miles), 105 gallon fresh water tank, 60 gallon gray water, 40 gallon black water holding tanks, plus two bath sinks- one in the head and the other in the master bedroom. Nice to have when traveling with several other folks.

It has two slide outs, one for the living room/kitchen area and one for the master bedroom. And being 40 long, it is big enough for extended trips while still be able to maneuver turns easily.

We hate to sell it but with our other homes and travels, we don't have enough time to use it and rather than leaving it sit in our driveway, we want to sell it to someone who really wants to put this on the road.

One nice thing is that this qualifies for a second home so you can write off the interest just as you could a home that is fastened down to mother earth!

Along with it, we will provide the new owners with a one year extended warranty. Nice to have it if something does go wrong. I have replaced the hot water element and been diligent with its service. I have many records and will provide you with contact info for all service organizations.

As a pilot, I am particular about my machines so I can assure you, I have complete confidence in this motorhome and hope I can get another one someday when my family and I can use it more.

And one more thing.. Since it has been in California all its life (except our travels throughout the U.S.), no rust, no weather or any other damage or aging issues like you may see with motorhomes in more "weather rugged" states. I know California used cars are more valuable than other states so the same must be true for our RV.

Thanks!
