SELLING Tips
|
 |
To sell your RV, you need to attract buyers. Here are some practical suggestions to get your RV noticed:
Presentation
- Print a window 'For Sale' sign from RVT.com and park the RV in a way that is visible to any passerby.
- Place a short text ad in your local Newspaper, with your ad number for easy viewing of your pictures and RV details...
For example: "2001, 32ft Winnebago, Loaded, one owner, only $34,200 View pictures on www.RVT.com ad #12345." (like using the MLS listing number for real-estate).
Other Possibilities - - You may want to consider a trade, maybe a truck, car or boat. Call a dealer near you to discuss the possibilities. However, be cautious about consigning your vehicle, make sure you deal with a reputable RV Dealer, and establish a price that will be net to you. Also, set a timeline for the RV to be listed with the dealer.

Fraud Prevention
|
 |
Our security system is constantly being upgraded for your protection, however, please note the following alerts:
Prices that seem too good to be true usually are.
Refuse any deal in which a buyer, usually claiming to be from overseas, is acting on behalf of a "client" and requests you to send an amount ABOVE your selling price.
When using an Escrow Service, only use trusted providers such as Escrow.com. Type in the Escrow Provider's site URL DIRECTLY into your web browser and DO NOT TRUST LINKS SENT IN EMAIL INQUIRIES, they may lead to a spoof web site.
Refuse any arrangement in which the 'buyer' requests an inspection of your RV, at YOUR expense. Some scam attempts using the following company names: Helping Hands Ministry, Easy Go Auto, Your Auto Brokers.
Please visit our web site for more information on fraud prevention. If in doubt or to report a suspicious ad, please contact our support office at 1-800-677-4484 or email us at tradersupport@rvtrader.com.

"
I sold my RV to a buyer from another state. They never would have found it otherwise. Thanks."
- John Y. from Indiana, September 12
"I am very pleased with your website. This is the second RV sold on your website and we have nothing but great things to say about the price, ease of use, great way our ad was presented, pictures nice and clear, thank you!!  My dad needs two rvs sold so I will be back. Thank You!"
- Don R. from West Virginia, September 10
"Excellent visibility. I received approximately forty-five inquiries in less than thirty days. Because I listed with two websites, I asked each caller or e-mail respondent where they viewed my ad - all stated RVT, none for the other website...interesting."
- W.K. Bronson from South Caroline, September 6
"This is the best place for people to find the RV they want. I placed my ad and it sold....easy as that."
- Roy M. from California, September 4
