Scott’s Recreation was founded in Manchester, Maine by Scott Lanpher in 1994 as a used power sports dealership. In 2006, Scott’s Recreation expanded into a brand new 5,000 square foot showroom on Rt. 202 in Manchester, just over the Augusta City line. The expansion came about as a result of Scott looking for a new RV for his family. When he found that he needed to travel a great distance to get a competitive price, he thought there was an opportunity to take on selected lines of RV’s and offer great pricing to the local customers.


If you have driven by Scott’s Recreation lately, you may have noticed that the lot is full of both new and used travel trailers, 5th Wheels and Class C Motor homes. In addition to the new product lines, Scott’s Recreation also buys clean late model units from all over the country making sure to offer the absolute best selection of pre-enjoyed RV’s in the area.
