A list of last year’s grade “A” campgrounds and RV parks were compiled by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC). More than 30,000 lovers of the great outdoors participated in an online survey conducted by ARVC. (Only member parks and campgrounds affiliated with ARVC were included for review in the survey.)

An “A” grade was given to less than two percent of all the nation’s campgrounds. For more details on the factors that were considered in rating, a stop by GoCampingAmerica.com might shed light.

From the GoCamping list of park amenities, one can choose from among such things as electric car charging stations, forest access, marina, restroom/shower facilities, laundry facilities, hot tub and a host of other conveniences. A search by park name yields a comprehensive description of any park that made the ARVC grade “A” list.
