This the Toyota RV you have been looking for -- this rare V-6 blue Sunrader is way-above-average !

Sunraders are considered the most sought-after of Toyota RVs, and ones with a V-6 engine are rather hard to find.  This one, with stripes that are shades of blue (rather than the more common black ones), is a very attractive RV.

To begin with, Sunrader is the only brand of Toyota RV which has a full fiberglass shell, in two pieces put together with a clam-shell design. This makes them less prone to rain leaks compared to other types of RV construction.  This one is from the next-to-last production year for Sunraders, so this one is about as new as you can get.

Most importantly, this Sunrader has the more desirable V-6 engine.  Compared to a 4 cyl., the V-6 engine gives you more adequate power for climbing hills and the ability to tow a moderate load.  Interstate speeds of 70 mph are easy to maintain.  Toyota engines are known for their longevity and great gas mileage especially compared to any other van-chassis RVs of the same size and price.

Although 4 cyl. Toyota Sunraders are somewhat common, Sunraders with a V-6 engine are very rare.  This is because only for the last three out of 14 production years did the Sunrader factory use the V-6 chassis.  And only about 6 or so of these come up for sale each year in the entire country.

“Way above average" aptly describes this coach.  The reasons will become obvious when you read its many features.  Please know that this RV is NOT a project.  Just the opposite -- everything has been carefully gone over to be as nice as possible.  Restoring Toyota RVs is our hobby, and my assistant and I have spent nearly a year restoring this coach to be especially usable for the next owners, and we take pride in our work.

The floorplan of this one has a sofabed behind the driver, a bench seat dinette behind the passenger, and the bathroom in the back.  (The bathroom has a separate full fiberglass shower, not with the toilet in the shower stall.)  The entry door is at the rear for easy access to the fridge and kitchen.  Sunraders are designed with several unique features (see below) that make them quite comfortable to drive and to camp in.

The V-6 chassis has automatic transmission and can get up to 16 miles per gallon.  It is mechanically better than most with a newly-replaced quality Jasper engine, installed by a reputable family-owned auto repair shop with experienced mechanics.  It has now been driven about 1000 miles this year so the new engine is now “broken in.” Even with 139K on the odometer, the general condition as more like that of Sunraders with half as many miles.

All six tires are relatively new (2014), and have very good tread.  It has the full-floating one-ton rear axle and six-lug wheels throughout.  Spare tire is located underneath.  There are Ride-Rite Air Springs in the rear to provide a more comfortable ride for passengers, and for leveling the coach somewhat while camping.  The added onboard air compressor allows them to be filled (or deflated) from the cab, with a gauge to view the pressure = very convenient!

The exterior has been polished and detailed, and the exterior blue stripes (a rare color for Sunraders) are fresher looking than most.  If you didn’t know, finding a nice exterior on a Toyota RV is one of the harder things to come by.  You can be proud to drive this stylish-looking coach.

The interior decor of this coach is also in good condition with blue-toned upholstery and decor.
