If you are looking for a high quality fifth wheel for your winters in Florida this is an ideal rig for you. My wife and I purchased this luxury fifth wheel a year ago in the summer and have lived in it full time. My job situation was changing and so we sold our home and wanted to remain mobile until everything stabilized there. So we’ve lived in the unit with the idea of possibly selling it and now it is time. I really want to sell this RV, so I've priced it aggressively. That means you get a super deal! I've marked it down $14,000 from what we paid for it new last year. And that doesn't include the cost of the extended warranty, road hazard, and washer/dryer we purchased after buying it.
What you get is an RV that still has that new RV smell, and that we have gone through upgrading things and fixing the inevitable little issues that these RVs come from the factory with. So what have we done?
1. Installed a keyless entry on the “front” door.
2. Added Armstrong stabilizers to the front landing gear.
3. Added a washer and drier.
4. Upgrades to the bathroom. Oxygenics Shower head, accent paneling next to the shower.
5. Beefed up the bed base and installed it correctly in the slide.
6. Insulated vulnerable water lines in the heated basement to prevent freezing.
7. Added a pressure tank to the water pump for dry camping.
8. Replaced cheap plastic wand on the central vacuum with a metal one.
9. Added side tables to the bed.
We also purchased a Viking Protection Plan Extended Warrantee Agreement that is transferrable to the next owner. In addition we purchased Road Hazard Tire and Wheel Protection that covers the fifth wheel and tow vehicle when towing. These both have 7 years of coverage with six years left. Buy this beautiful front living room Redwood Cypress with peace of mind that you have extended coverage.
Redwood only offered the Cypress line for a couple of years. Now they have the Redwood Redwood and the Redwood Sequoia. The differences between the Cypress and the top line Redwood are minimal. What the top model has that the Cypress doesn’t are full body paint, rear fiberglass cap, exterior TV, and self-leveling jacks. For thousands less on the price, we are happy living without those things. And we honestly really liked this floor plan more than any of the other Redwood plans, including the front living room plan for the Redwood Redwood.
We are offering our 2011 Ford F 350 dually with the 6.7 liter diesel for sale with this 5th wheel if you are looking for a tow vehicle too. We are asking $29,000 for that. It has 157,000 miles on it. The paint scheme matches, and this truck is ideal for pulling this trailer. When we are on the highway it is easy to forget it is back there. I can climb a long 2 percent grade in 6th gear and the engine braking does a great job of controlling speed on the downgrade. Stopping distance is good too. Fully loaded the truck and trailer together weigh just over 24,000 lbs. We will gladly sell the fifth wheel only too.
We’ve also maintained our Redwood carefully. We’ve washed and waxed it three times over the year and have just washed it several other times. My wife is a meticulous housekeeper, sweeping and mopping several times a week.
This Redwood is really spacious with the five slides out. We have been very comfortable. We wintered in this in Indiana and it did fine. I probably wouldn’t want to do that in North Dakota, but for the occasional cold snap you should do just fine in it.
We love this Redwood and you will too!
