2004 Fleetwood Sequoia Highlander
Fleetwood's Highlander series high-sides pop-up. Not your grandma's pop-up. Known as the "Penthouse of Pop-ups", this pop up does not require taking down the dinette, or flipping over the galley. As you can see in the pictures, it slides closed right over the table/benches, and the galley/kitchen. No need to pack up or empty out before you fold down. Quick set up and take down. Saves hours to use for your last vacation day instead.
I know this seems like a lot for a pop up, but I've seen them go for much more. I have been out there looking and from what I've seen of the condition of used pop ups, this is a deal. I saw this same pop up on a lot a few months ago for $8995, with worn cushions and severe water damage and also no ac. There is a 2005 online for $10k
This has king size beds on each end, dinette folds down to a king size bed. Can sleep 6-10
Shower, toilet, outside shower,
double sink, 3-way refrigerator, microwave, 3 burner stove and outside RVQ grill.
Rack system on top
Spare tire and cover
Self storing awning
Lots of cabinets and storage space.
**Brand new converter and new bypass valve on water heater, both just replaced.
Lots of windows to open so that it feels just like you're outdoors. It does not have ac, I've never needed it, even when camping at the beach. It can be installed, that was an after-market option. We like fans and fresh air. Also an in-room portable air conditioner is a good choice, if you need ac, as they are much quieter and won't risk a roof leak.
The cushions have all been covered from the start, so the originals are clean and in good shape. I also kept the mattresses covered with a mattress protector, as well as sheets. There is some damage to the rear window cover, but it is patched and completely usable and can be replaced for minimal cost.
Curtains, valances, shower curtain all included. This pop up has been well used but is in very good shape. I have regularly caulked the seams which is why it doesn't have the water damage that many older pop ups have. This one didn't just sit, it was used and loved by my sons and I.
At a GVW of 3770 (loaded up) it can be towed by most SUVs. The weight distribution bar helps on the smaller end trucks and SUVs.
Sells new for $15,000.
**Also included, Eaz-lift weight distributing hitch and friction sway bar. $300 value. Plus propane tank. It has electric brakes.
It's a great pop-up, big and roomy, very easy to tow. I hate to lose it, but it no longer suits my situation. My loss is your gain.
